My family is a very frequent shopper of this store. Not because it is well kept or it is a well run establishment but only because it's local. Since going under new management the door has been barricaded with little room to push more than one cart thru. The out automatic door to leave the store has been turned off. Hand crafted signs riddle the door about not bringing in bags, 'smile you're on camera'. All painting a very clear depiction of how they feel about the community they serve...'You all are a bunch of theifs!' We too were wrongfully accused of steeling and asked not to return without any validity but because of the new store managers ego. Be clear it's not that much theft happening in this tiny grocery store to warrant this behavior. If you are loosing that much money it is because of employees taking boxes of meat out the BACKDOOR not the front! Duh. Overall the store has flies about the rotting produce, the coolers sometimes work sometimes do not. And always AWAYS check the dates and the price bc anyone of them can be wrong at anytime.

I love shopping at Save-A-Lot they have the best meat and the best prices I just got back from Save-A-Lot I went there to get their T-bone steaks they have wonderful T-bone steaks and when they have them on sale they're 499 a pound and they are wonderful last weekend I got pork chops from there for a dollar 25 a pound very very good pork chops I try to get my daughter to go there but I guess she's too good for Save-A-Lot but I'm not I love the place they have excellent deals I used to go to aldis all the time but now aldis has to share with Save-A-Lot cuz Save-A-Lot has cheaper prices than Aldi's on a lot of things I recommend Save A Lot to any onekeepit up Save ALot!!!

I was falsely accused of stealing "something" several times according to the assistant manager so they informed me that I was never allowed back in their. I asked the assistant manager who's name is Alex what it was they caught me stealing and he told me he didn't know, but that he informed by his boss, Mary the manager, that they have me on video stealing and the next time they seen me to inform me that I was never allowed back in there. Crazy thing is I checked out with Mary on December 22, 2022 and she never once said anything to me about stealing on that day or any day prior to December 23, 2022. if I could give them half a star I would.

Very low class, run down, and tacky. There was one time we were waiting to check out and the cashiers were going back and forth talking to each other (not even acknowledging their customrs) about their baby daddy and a bunch of drama in their lives which I found very unprofessional. It shouldn't matter where you work this kind of behavior should be unacceptable. The food on the floor all looks dirty and it just all around looks dirty at this store. It's almost like a thrift shop but for groceries. I only went a couple times when we ran out of something but I would definitely recommend Sprouts or even Walmart before going here.

I am a strong Shopper at Save-A-Lot I have been for years because of their meat selects and also their prices now I have to look for somewhere with more quality and less of a price it seems as though nowadays you don't save a lot you save very little which makes me have to rely on charities to fill up my pantry next I'll try Aldis also I am very displeased with the pork chops selection you called it Center Cuts but it was only half a pork chop for $10 for a pack of four this is a disgrace

Went in to shop their ad on T-Bone steaks at $3.99 each for Sunday family dinner. Their meat counter was almost wiped out, no beef, some pork and lots of chicken. Asked the young Lady at the register what was up with the empty meat counter. (I wasn't the only shopper in the store complaining to each other). The very nice young Lady said their Butcher wasn't in. Asked her if the Butcher was normally off of Sunday, she said he was supposed to be there. Bad customer experience!

I really didn't do big amounts of shopping here but due to COVID-19 and that they have hours for the vulnerable that are low traffic I find I am able to shop get my staples and produce along with some great meat sales, I find myself here more than Aldi which is way more crowded and I hesitate to type this for fear of it becoming more crowded but concerned people who are vulnerable should have a safe option.

I've not been to this store in years. It was clean, stocked very well (had everything I was looking for), employees were stocking shelves when I was there, and check out went smoothly. They were not a lot of people there, so not a long wait. The only thing negative I have to say is, I saw one of the employees eating while stocking. Other than that, my experience was great.

Cashier was wrong on a price, when I called her out on it... She raised her voice to ME. The manager came over and put in correct price, which I appreciate, but probably won't be back because cashier was so rude. Just a side: even if I had been wrong on the price, even though I wasn't, cashier had NO right to yell or speak to me in that manner.

This place is horrible. Looks dirty when you walk in, all kinds of stuff in the way of trying to shop or blocking aisles, and not to mention there is only ever one register open 90% of the when I go in and a long line most of the time. Also the prices of items in this store are ridiculous, way overpriced compared to most stores.

A very nice young lady who answered the phone answered all my questions on product availability at her location and even went the extra mile to see if the product was there in store. Unfortunately it wasn't available, but I definitely greatly valued and appreciated all her help and her beautiful welcoming attitude.

I save so much shopping here. They almost never run out of stock. I would compare it to a slightly smaller Aldi. The employees are really nice. I always feel like I'm visiting friends when checking out. Be sure to bring your own bags (they do have reusable and plastic for sale), and bring a quarter for the cart.

I stop in weekly for quick things like milk/bread. For sure not some where I'd do my grocery shopping at. Meat section is small. I know the concept is to save but their brand items aren't all the greatest. Staff at this location is usually friendly. Long lines though - that typically only keep one lane open.

Honestly upper management leaves something to be desired of. Running low on some product and out on others. Also itmes stocked in wrong places with incorrect info it difficult while shopping. But in the end you find what you're looking for sometime and a good price and the cashiers are pretty good people.

Great option for grabbing something quick and usually you have to bag your own items but my last up there was a young lady that greeted me with a genuine courteousness that surpassed all the other grocery stores out there and she placed my items in my bag and I almost fell in love.... ⭐

Rush you out if your anytime close to closing. I didn't like the glares or unfriendly demi or that staff was putting off when I walked in 20 mins before closing. I was to to hurry 3 different times and I was hurting already . I ran in for 4 or 5 items is all. Not very impressed.

Its better than the one on Long view, its a kinder trustworthy staff, but occasionally you'll hear or see an argument (not by staff), or someone gets caught stealing. But if you frequent a business at some point you will see that. The staff handles all problems professionally.

This used to be my neighborhood shopping mart. Every since the new owners came in alot has changed. The food is catered towards a certain ethnic group. The prices have gone up ridiculously. I will no longer shop here and will encourage my friend and neighbors not to either.

I was super impressed with the Indian food selection at this store. I can't believe all the spices and hard to find things they have, prices were very reasonable as well. Will definitely be going back with a list of stuff to get. Can't wait to try more of the pickles

The cashier did not even said hi when I did, I thought he was busy but after he charged me (he never made eye contact) I said thank you, bye and he just ignored me. He might not need the job cause it seems like he hates it. I wish I could leave no stars at all....

Save A lot store on 88 Blue ridge is clean.The prices are low for variety of food sold. Most of the cashiers are accurate and provide decent customer service. There low prices/high quantity of products are what Aldis use to be like in the early 2000s.

It had been a long time, maybe 10 year since I had been to the store. It was great in a pinch. I needed potatoes. Picked up a few other things while in the store. The selection has expanded, especially with the dry/packaged goods.

Employees are always helpful. Store is always stocked and clean with the same grocery items as the competitors at a way lower price. Definitely worth the drive if you aren't close to one of their locations.

Store has great prices for what is offered yet the store layout could be a great deal better. If someone really took the time to upgrade the store im sure in would be a better visual eye catching appeal

I absolutely Love(This) save A Lot. This is where I find the best prices and Quality Food and the Attendance are VERY nice and helpful and The store is always clean and stocked..thank you Save A Lot!!

Well I don't feel ok bringing my children to this store anymore . They don't have public restrooms which I completely understand for adults but seriously my 6 year old son come on now

Great store, very clean unlike the one on Longview Rd. Glad it closed, it was very nasty and prices were all over the place. Owner was horrible he only wanted the neighborhood money.

This is my go to store. This store is usually stocked with the items I need. The staff is really helpful in going to check for items in the back if the item is not on the shelf.

The staff is 5 * and overall it's a good experience. Just remember you need a quarter for the shopping cart and you will need to bring in your own bags or find a box in-store.

Used to purchase my beer here... But soon as they realized it. They raised the price higher than the liquor store. I thought this place was save a lot? Not spend way more!!

Great people and even better food prices. It is a discount type store but they have name brand and generic food items for those of us who a bit picky on our food selection.

Poor selection. Bad odor inside store. I don’t shop there often because they don’t offer the products that I want to buy so I end up shopping at Hy-Vee most of the time.

Definitely a great store for getting all types of grocery items and other needs for lower costs than major chain grocery stores, discounted daily specials also here.

It's all right but they like to carry stuff for so long and then not carry it anymore so if you get used to having something you buy there they won't have it always

This Save A Lot is ok my mom want to come to this store which i have never been. This store reminds me of an Aldi's which is not to bad its not type of store.

Normally save a lot be empty and unorganized & dirty but this is actaually one of the cleanest/organized ones I seen so far especially to be out south

Bread and buns cheaper than Aldi. Not a huge selection but basic needs are usually there. The supermarket is often crowded at the checkout counters.

Great experience. If a little cutie by the name Jodie that's the coolest checker there. Didn't see her today. Everybody deserves a day off or two.

Today was a gd day at this store I got in and out within 30 min my cashier was a fast checker and friendly as usual the store stocked and clean

Cashiers are not friendly or helpful, but the staff in the rest of the store is friendly, I love the prices on the meat especially the steaks

I take Mom here a lot. It is close and convenient. The staff are so nice and helpful-always smiling. Very reasonable prices on the products.

Has a good selection of meats. What happened to their grocery baskets??? Sure they can afford to buy more for what they charge for EGGS!

Save-A-Lot recently remodeled and the store looks great. The price is creeped up a little after the remodel but still a good bargain.

Top of the line customer service. Quality produce, steaks are back, cheapest in town on turkeys and other holiday items. Great team.

Worst environment. Cashiers have the nastiest attitudes. Does not respect their shoppers in the least bit. Trashy, rude, ridiculous.

Would not recommend. Yes prices were low but barely any staff were there and the 2 that were there weren't very respectful.
