I came to Scrubbers because the carwash at the Coles around the corner was out of action and I needed to clean my very dirty rental car before I returned it. I decided on the auto wash machine so that I didn't have to do any work myself but there was a bit of a line. When I got in queue a staff member approached the vehicle and explained that there was a bit of a wait, but her and her colleague can hand wash it. I am so glad i chose that option. It was very thorough and i didn't even have to get out of the car. She even brought the eftpos terminal to me so i didn't have to get out of the car to pay! super easy and a good price too - currently $18. Have no hesitations recommending.

Had to clean a rental car and chose this place because it was the closest. I thought it would be like any other car wash, I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I pulled in I was greeted by possibly Tasmania’s friendliest person (Steven). I could instantly tell that he was passionate about his job and his detailing. He went through the best steps for cleaning the car and even offered some tools to help. In addition to Steven’s amazing attitude the facility itself was clean,working and well managed. machines with new EFTPOS installed were super misleading, beware when using. We were using coins and were short of a dollar, so we tapped our card, thinking it would allow us to choose an amount to be charged. It didn’t - took the full amount of an entire car wash. We realised only some of the EFTPOSes had this issue and we were the unlucky ones. Staff onsite were notified but couldn’t do much about it so we just let the extra 6 mins run out. Refer to the picture and you’ll see how it can be misunderstood. Do take note of that when coming to this car wash.

The man on duty when we went there on Thursday the 22nd Feb 2018, was possibly the most helpful person I have ever met. We had a little issue on the roof of our hire car that needed polishing and he spent like 20 minutes making sure it was all good and then checked it again after the auto wash and re-polished it. It was really amazing to find such a generous hearted fellow. Thanks so much - I wish i could remember your name. We were there at about 2pm.

Music too loud. Would like more info on how long you get for each cycle e.g. 2 mins for $2??. Didn't know which hose to use for some cycles - timer should start when you start hose. Wasted about 20 seconds for the conditioning cycle while working out hose. Same for vacuuming and aif spray i.e. timer should start when start using hose and stop when you release button to move round car. Overall like the convenience and set up.

The boss is definitely friendly and humble person, quite like his service attitude even though it's my first time being there and have explanation from him in how to use the equipment or changing money. The only small problem is the hose connector has a little crack, and water come out from there and wet my clothes. The boss should fix it. The one on the right hand side after your enter from the entrance.

I had my car parked under eucalypt trees for months *coughs years*. When it was manned they worked away the layers of grime and were extremely thorough. Only negative, it's kind of odd sitting in the car watching people clean your car (that highlights my sense of guilt). That was all before I took it through the automated car wash. Crazy. Well worth it!!!! I give it 5 out of 5 possum poo encrusted cars.

Took the car for a quick clean of a particular spot with just $2. Soaped the car a bit with the left over time, intending to rinse it off at home. staff ran out to tell us we had left soap on, worried it would dry and stain the car, and bringing us back up where they washed the soap off for us, no charge (we had no More coins handy).definitely going above and beyond for customers. The owner of the car wash (VW Touareg) has no regard for professionalism! Nearly wiped out 2 cars due to not staying within his own lane in a roundabout and then swerving at the car that honked at him further down the road! Dangerous, erratic and unprofessional. Wouldn't trust a person that treats other vehicles with such disregard to run a car wash business!

Worst place ever, took almost an hour to get into the auto wash. More expensive than most places for a below average wash (have to spend extra for a basic polish or dry). Most of the self vacuum machines are out of order and only take coins. Waste of time and money. Edit: now in another car wash because it came back dirtier than before.

We took our hire car through the Auto wash & the gentleman was so great & went the extra mile as he manually washed along with the auto wash to make our car extra clean. Can’t say anything negative. Seriously impressed by the effort put in by the lovely staff member today. I paid for the Level 3 wash, and assumed it would just be the drive through, but the lovely guy working also did an incredibly thorough job of sponging my car down (which I never do)! Thank you so much for making my Jeep not look like such a tip rat.

I was in the queue for the automatic carwash, which I never use, but the kids were in the car and wanted to try it. It was a long queue though, and one of the attendants came over and offered to hand wash the car for me. He did a great job, and charged me about the same (or slightly less) than the auto wash. Legend.

Scrubbers in Hobart is the absolute best car wash I've ever used. Not only did they spend double the time on my car than others do, it's like it was as new. The staff were genuinely cheery and friendly also. I'll definitely recommend anyone to go there, so happy with them.

The $14 express auto clean is insanely good value. The attendant gives a good hand wash before the machine does its bit. Heads up it takes a little longer (~15 mins all up, after queuing) than some drive through joints. But no complaints as the service is easily worth it.

All typical services you’d expect available. Wash, vacuum, auto wash etc. Not all of the stations for manual/hand washing have eftpos. There is a change machine if you have notes as well as vending machine for various car cleaning products. Prices are reasonable.

Pretty busy place but doesn’t compromise on the service, very quick and efficient stuff. Boys have well taken care of my car, did they a detailed cleaning of the outside of my car at a minimum rate. Didn’t had to wait to long, I would recommend this place.

They hand washed my car when the autowash was backed up, fast and efficient service, maybe a little more attention to the quality of work could be paid (a few bits were missed here and there) but for $16 it is more than acceptable.

Hand wash. Machine coin deposit broke, guy cleared it but took all the coins I’d put in and just walked off. Resorted to card. Settings on dial weren’t working correctly and timer in minutes out. Said 8 but ended in 5 by the clock.

After waiting almost 30mins behind 4 cars the attendant who does the prewash yelled and swore at me to move up. Unbelievable treatment of a customer who'd already been waiting half an hour! Never going back!!

Talked me into a hand was and used a new high pressure hose. They ended up stripping the paint of my bonnet. I have 2 large chips in the bonnet that has gone down to the metal. Real amateurs at this place.

$1 for 1 min 15 sec seems a tad short especially when it takes a few seconds to start spraying water from the gun. Otherwise no other issues with the car wash and the vacuum bays.

The bloke running the place is helpful and nice. Pretty big set up but it does get busy at peak times being the only one around, so be aware you might wait for the auto wash.

Last time I went here I barely got my car washed for $5 using the high pressure spray and soap. They have reduced the time per dollar dramatically. I will not be back.

Good for a quick car wash. They do more than just let the machine run through your car during their manned hours and that makes it even better to go then.

Car wash attended was lovely. Facilities very clean. We also used the dog wash bay which was so much cleaner than others ive been to and had warm water.
