Came here for the fingerprint service today. There was no line at all (probably because I came on a Tuesday afternoon) so my request was processed immediately. Ms. P (my fingerprint technician) was super professional and friendly. I was really nervous about getting my fingerprints done and I even bought a bottle of corn huskers lotion just in case. But turned out they all look good, thanks to Ms. P! Another time when I was here, someone walked in really confused and the front desk officer pointed him to the right line very patiently and nicely. Everyone I ran into at the SPD HQ was professional and efficient. Seattle is blessed with a great PD, IMO.

They don't do fingerprinting for NFA Items. If you need fingerprint cards done for a Silencer or SBR, go somewhere else. I called prior to going there and they said they did. Got to sit in seattle traffic, Paid a ridiculous $9 for 30 minute parking just for them to tell me they couldn't do something they said they could do on the phone. Massive waste of time. I wish they would post on their website something along the lines of: "WE DO NOT DO FINGERPRINTING FOR NFA ITEMS." Definitely would have saved me a bunch of time.

I got pulled over in the company vehicle for expired tabs. He was very kind and courteous he didn’t come up to you with a defense of stand whatsoever just told me to have them take care of it and have a good day either way if I would’ve got a ticket he still would’ve got a good review from me every Seattle cop that I’ve come Encountered with are all very very nice and I think that they get criticized way too much I feel for you keep up the good work

I visited Seattle Police Department to have fingers screening for employment purpose. The lady of British origin who works at the front desk is awesome! She is erudite lady and knows alot about my country, about the history of the civilizations of Mesopotamia and about the culture of the peoples in the Middle East It was a great opportunity to meet person like her! I wish her all good and success in her personal and professional life.

Showed up at 3:30pm to apply for CPL and was told to come back a different day as they stop taking apps at 3:30pm. I told the cranky lady at the desk that their website says 4pm is last app acceptance. Also, SW precinct told me 4pm is last app acceptance. She said “No we stop taking them at 3:30pm”. I asked to to clarify that online and with the other precincts and she just rolled her eyes at me. Very unprofessional.

This review or more for an individual that helped me when my vehicle was disabled in Seattle, Deb (only introduced on a first name basis) went above and beyond to help me get back on the road and was even deterring all the bums from asking me for things! Even while dealing with the traffic from Sounders game. We need more police officers like this in the world. Thanks again Deb I appreciate all your help!

LINCOLN TOWING HAS NO IDEA HOW TO RUN A GOOD BUSINESS. Unbelievable that they have the police contract! They sent me to the wrong location to get my car in rush hour traffic. Upon arrival I was ignored and then the manager thought he was such an angel because he paid for my cab ride. Any good business would provide a discount off the service to make up for such a bad experience.

Hey Seattle PD, don't you know about the dangers of leaving people stranded late at night by calling your Lincoln towing buddies to tow peoples cars. Its very much a danger!! My suggestion is to focus on training these police officers to do their job because this is probably one of the worst police departments in the Nation

There have been no complaints about few cars using 3rd Ave during the restricted 3-6pm window. What is the evidence that supports this need to spend money to enforce the peak traffic restrictions on 3rd Ave? Does our society value keeping 3rd Ave perfectly clear of cars, more than it values people's lives?

Someone hit my daughters car and wouldn’t cooperate with us to repair the damages. Officer Martin Fritz went beyond his way to help us and was so incredibly nice!
