Very disappointed with the service! Lost of time and money! I had a protection order granted in Pierce county to someone who lives and work in King county and was told by the judge I needed to find my own server. I also work in King county and was told by the Pierce county sheriff's department to ask the SPD at the west precinct (since it was closer to the person that needed to be served job). I went in and was told that they would take care of it. I followed up a few times and each time it was something. First it hadn't been served yet...then the paperwork was misplaced. Ugh. I get to court and was told that there was no proof of service. I called the west precinct and still no reasonable response. I was basically told that since the order was served in a different county...the SPD service is a courtesy, serving my paper work wasn't a priority and that they don't have to do it. Just wish I've known that from the get go. Now I have to go BACK to court and get a new packet to serve. Thank God I still have my life...this could very well be a life and death situation. So if you're looking for services similar to mine...go elsewhere!

Someone stole my wallet and I wait 4+hours for a police to meet me but nobody showed up. They just won't do anything in regards to stealing and that it's why thieves are flooded in Seattle. My car got broken so many times within 4 years I live in Seattle. It is crazy how these cops are not doing any better in these years. Also, I am getting brain cancer by just talking to them via phones. "will be there shortly" "no officers are around" " you'll have to wait until we have one" "what time?" " We don't know maybe couple hours more;maybe couple minutes" "Sir you can't leave or we'll cancel your meeting" God damn I've been waiting since noon and the sun is not even there when I leave. Still nobody showed up. "we have many cases today" "see 4 officers running around doing nothing" 0 respect for them.

After watching an officer use his emergency lights twice in 4 blocks to turn the signal so he would not wait I am submitting a 1 star review. Yes it is minor in the scheme of things. So it speeding and many other things everyone else is ticketed for. To he clear he was very obvious not on a call as he waited at one light for approximately 2 seconds before losing his patience. He flicked them on and off for less than 1 second to force the signal. Intersections at 5th ave and bell st and also blanchard st and 5th ave

Worst service there is my friend had to call 911 and went unanswered for over 15 minutesand the recorded 911 message said your emergency call will be answered in the order received ! Not even a live 911 operator! Best just to take matters in your own hands and deal with the problem yourself as you see fit. Seattle police and 911 system is the a complete joke all about politics and nothing to do with serving the community's

i just want to thank police for doing a wellness check on my son who lives there and i am here in illinois. i called them at 6pm seattle time and they had already been there to his apartment and found him sick in bed by 645p. THANK YOU SOO MUCH from the bottom of my heart! I felt so helpless and glad to know you all are there.

The police department is wildy inefficient and understaffed. They take more than 5 days to respond to non-emergency police requests and the police give inconsistent advice depending on the officer you talk to. Incredibly frustrating.

I thought I my cell phone was stolen form me and two great officers helped me retrieve it with a lot of patients, common sense and good will. They were super professional and kind. I can't thank them enough!

After dealing with a harassment case I was later contacted by a officer at this precient who was very polite understanding and kind . It was very helpful during such a trying time .

Phone tree doesn't allow for automatic transfer to various departments. Also, no one answered the phone at 8:20 am on a Wednesday.

Called the cops and its been over 2 hours and still no word from them.... Good luck people

Been waiting for an officer to come out to the house for 3 hours and still nothing!!!

Waited for police over 4 hours in parking lot ,very bad service would not recommend

The cops I dealt with were super nice and approachable.

Officers were polite, helpful and friendly.

They do their job.
