This was the first time I ever used the locksmith services but it was a good experience overall. I wouldn't trust their online messaging service as I never heard back. But I was able to schedule a service 2 hours in advance when I called (pretty cool)! The guy on the phone was nice and helpful but was trying to get rid of me fast. :) Eran arrived right on time and was very professional and friendly. He was able to install a chain lock, make two key replacements and replace a peephole - all within one hour! He also advised best solutions for me without trying to sell something I don't need. All looks and works great. Thanks a lot for your help! Will definitely use this company's services in the future.

I called and was quoted $65 minimum and told the locksmith would arrive in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, the locksmith still hadn’t shown up. I called R.O.N. back asking if everything was okay. I was told to hold for a minute. While I was on hold there was no sound on the other end - music etc. I began to question whether my call was disconnected after being on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up and called back 3 more times over the next 10 minutes and each time it went straight to voicemail. I think I was being screwed with. Please watch out for yourself out there. P.S.: I think it’s interesting that I’m leaving the only non-5 star review. Are they paying to have the bad reviews removed?

Our HOA needed to have a handful of items fixed on our property so I connected with R.O.N. Locksmith. Great service, very responsive - came out that day to do an estimate and the following week all our repairs were completed in just 2 hours. We worked with Eran, super nice, helpful and professional. We had two door closers replaced, a security cone added around one of our outdoor gate locks and he adjusted 5 of our doors so they would close appropriately (before they were misaligned or the locks did not fully engage). Price was very reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend and will be reconnecting should we have any other issues down the road!

We have been using R. O. N. Locksmith for several years now and can't say enough good things about the service Eran has provided. We are a non-profit music school in an old building. Combine old building with lots of kid/family traffic and it can be a real problem for doors, latches and locks. Eran has repaired/replaced locks and hinges many times and always explains the alternatives clearly. Budget is always a concern for us and he understands that. Responsive, professional, and so helpful! Repairs hold up really well under our heavy use. Eran is my go-to for any lock/door issue; totally reliable and highly recommended.

Fantastic service. I lost my key and was having issues getting my car towed to the dealership. The tow truck driver suggested I try a locksmith. I called R.O.N. Locksmith to get an estimate. The operator said they'd call back with it. Minutes later, Eran, the locksmith was on the phone. He was in the neighborhood and would be able to give me an estimate AND have my key made if I'd like. The estimate was less than the dealership AND he took less than a half hour to program my key for me! Full service and lightning fast! I was very impressed how fast and efficient this company is. They were super responsive, friendly and efficient. I had been having bad luck with my car since Christmas Eve and my bad luck struck again on New Year's Eve when I locked my car keys and cell phone in my running car for almost 2 hours. Eran did a great job changing out my lock. There was a mechanical complication to my door that I didn’t know about because I’m calling for service from out of state. The doorman at my building discovered it. I called Eran, and he made 2 additional trips back to my condo to make sure that the lock and door worked right together. I called R.O.N Locksmith to get an estimate on replacing a closer on the main door to my building; Mr. Kedar came out. I found him to be prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. In short, Mr. Kedar repaired, replaced, and installed new parts on three doors for me. His attention to detail and going above and beyond the call of duty to locate hard to find replacement hardware for one of the doors was very impressive. I highly recommend this company, and I will most definitely use them again for any related services needed.

In what was not one of my finer moments, I locked my house keys in my garage as I was returning home from running errands. Feeling more than a bit foolish, I furiously googled "emergency locksmiths" and stumbled across these guys, who seemed well reviewed. I was told someone would be here in 20 to 30 minutes. To my surprise and elation, Eran arrived in 30 minutes flat and had me into my house a few short minutes later. Hope you don't need that sort of service. But if you do, I highly recommend this business!!

I called for an intercom system repair. When he arrived, he looked at it (never even opened the panel) and took a picture and said someone would get back to me in a while. He called back maybe an hour later and said he was sure the wiring was bad and tried to sell me a phone dialer system. Not for a 4-unit building, no. I had someone else come out, who popped open the panel and reconnected a loose wire which fixed it. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INTERCOM REPAIR - BEWARE!

I need a new key and it would cost me around 350 to $400. I called Ron locksmith and left a message. They returned my call in about 30 minutes. We set up a time on Saturday for them to come over and look at my van. He was at my house on time. I explained in detail the problem that I needed the key to be programmed to the van. He fixed the problem in no more than 20 minutes. I now have two working keys for my van. Well under the cost of a new key. Thanks Earn.

I am not satisfied with their service I left my car keys inside and door is locked I called to this locksmith one lady told me $50 or less but the service man came and charged me $100. How these people will take advantage I came to know today. If I bring any mechanic from garage he should have taken only $20 not more than that. My rating should be 0 to this company and I prefer other not to take this kind of service any more from locksmith.

I needed to get a new set of VW cat keys reprogrammed, which it turns out it's very hard to find outside of the dealership. These guys solved my issue quickly and courteously, for less than dealership prices and without the added cost of a tow. Other Lakeview locksmiths failed to show up 4 days in a row without so much as an apology. Highly recommend! Fwiw they will also create a whole new key if you need one.

Was scheduled to have a technician come to help with my car. The technician called and said he was on his way. A hour later no one showed up so I called the dispatcher to check on the status. She told me they couldn't do anything to help me. It's fine if they couldn't help me but no one even told me they weren't coming. If I hadn't called for a status update then I would have just waited. Terrible service.

Could not have been happier and more satisfied with my experience with R.O.N. Locksmith. I needed help getting into my car after my battery died. They came out to my house, in a Chicago bordering suburb, to make two separate automobile keys for me. The owner arrived on time, made the keys at a very reasonable price and even gave me some complimentary advice on a Safe that is malfunctioning. My auto key fob had to be replaced twice and they came out both times within the day, as late as 9:15 p.m. They are efficient, within the fair pricing range, and their work is outstanding. My key broke so I set up an appointment to met locksmith he didn’t remember the appointment but said he would meet me at shop he said ten mins and i stood in cold for hour before i called and followed up when i followed up i was cursed out very unprofessional wouldn’t recommend business in the untimely time poor business ethics.
