Horror Experience at Self Drives (Pannu) We had booked at Renault Duster (Registraion DL 1N A0716) for three days in January with per day rental of Rs 2800/- and Rs 10,000/- security deposit. As soon as we left Delhi, the car started heating up and made strong sound upon pressing the accelerator. We ignored it thinking that the turbo engine usually makes this sound. As evening approached and we swithched on the headlights one of the light wasnt working, we called up the booking manager Vipin and told hin so. Vipin then told us to contact their service manager Manprit who insisted that the lights cannot be fused. Upon sending him the pics he told us to get it replaced and that the expense will be reimbursed. We did so at a highway shop near Roorkee. Next day while travelling to Tehri , we noticed that smoke was coming out of the bonnet, immediately we stopped and checked the bonnet and saw that the bonnet sound damper cloth had become loose and was making contact with the engine as a result the cloth had burned to some extent and was heating up the engine. We called the service manager Manprit again, who again didnt believe us and asked for photo proofs, we did so. Next morning at Dhanaulti, the car wouldnt start, we got it checked by a mechanic and he noticed that a turbo engine pipe was burnt and damaged and that resullted in overheating of engine and loss of mobile. We called up Manprit again and he sent us a copy of the servicing invoice which he claimed was done on 1 week back. We then had to do video call to manprit to show him the extent of the damage. He then told us to do the necessary service and that the cost would be reimbursed. We did so and reurned to Delhi. Next morning when we went to return the car, Manprit and the manager Vipin said that they would only reimburse us on the headlight and mobile cost, and that they will not give the service charge which had amounted to Rs. 1300/-. After much trying we could not convince them so we left dejected, hoping to never take cars from them again. Advice:- DO NOT TAKE CARS FROM SELF DRIVES (PANNU). Rating: Car:- 0.5 Service:- 0

I will share my experience. I booked a Duster 1 month before the pick up date (June 2019). I specifically told them to deliver the car with no defects (both on call & mail). I again sent a mail to them 2 days before the delivery date to ensure all lights, wiper, coolant, music etc. are all working fine (both on call & email). So, on the day of delivery at 8PM, what we find is that even after sending earlier reminders, the car is no condition for driving. The car's wiper ejector for wiper is missing, AC leaks water (I have not seen any car leaking water when AC works) & most important left side of car's back light is short-circuited & neither the brake light is working nor the indicator. Company's response is that you can get it repaired it on your own & then they will reimburse it to us. I mean they are telling me to drive the car in the night to himachal with only 1 brake light, no left indicator & then spend time & money to get it repaired. Moreover, the car is as dirty as it can get & stinking like hell from inside (fabric seats). After 2 hours of complaint at their CP office (Dwarka office sucks), they tell me to take TUV300. On inspecting the TUV300, what we find is that the music system is not working. Finally at 10.30 PM, I had to take the only available fit car Honda amaze to kinnaur (kalpa, Chitkul) & for those who have gone to Kinnaur can realise what would have happened to chassis & bumber with 4 people sitting inside & carrying their complete camping items in the boot. PS: I have booked cars from self drive 3 times earlier in 3 years as well but at that time all cars were new (less than 10K KM driven), but this time duster was 95K Km driven. If you want to book, take a risk of ruining your trip just at the starting point. Plus these people are highly unprofessional & don't know what to do & say if the car is not fit.

Its the worst service providers I have ever come across. I had done a prepaid booking of the self drive car of my choice and also provided all the required documentation prior to my arrival as per their request. even after all this ; when i arrive at the pick-up point there was an untrained and lazy person called Arun. Who was unaware of my pickup. The car wasn't available at all. They made me wait for more than 90minutes in the road with my family. The person was very rude after seeing my address of Bengaluru he started speaking in Hindi which i'm not familiar with. They don't even have basic english knowledge. After a long wait the car arrived and was full of dust and dirt inside. For the sake of cleaning a person came and just did wet scrubbing after we sat in the dirty car. They take a deposit of 10K as a security amount. And if we pay it Online there is no assurance of returning the money. As per there rules the refund should be automatically transferred within in 6-7 working days. But to collect my refund amount i had to call 101 times. They pick the call and once hearing my name they rudely speak and disconnect the call. Later i had to mail and call and pester them to take my money back which i received after 14days. Overall i feel its waste of money and time booking a car with these foolish company. First let them learn the decency to behave with a customer and attend calls. No respect at all. Even after sharing all the documentation prior to my arrival; the paper works was not done by the staffs and behaved rudely. If there was an option to give Zero Stars i would be happy to do so. It was the worst experience at the National capital. Such companies should be banned.

Utterly Horrible Service by Selfdrives We booked a Toyota Innova Crysta for our trip for total of ₹ 34848/- {₹ 27200/- for the car + ₹ 7648 for fuel (₹ 3000 by cash + ₹ 4648/- by online payment)}. But when we went to pick the car up, they offered us with other car, giving excuse that the original car meant for our booking had met with an accident with the previous owner and had gone for maintenance. We were offered TATA Hexa instead of Toyota Crysta and we had to settle with it because we had no other option in such a short time frame. Coming to the vehicle provided. 1. AC vents were not working 2. Parking brakes (which is a must for the terrain we were driving to) was not working at all 3. The vehicle leaked power steering oil on 03rd day only and we were stranded at 11k feet altitude with 5 female passengers. We tried to fix it. The mechanic was called for, we had to purchase steering oil etc. Ee had to pay another ₹ 1600/- from our pocket for the same. After that we had to book hotel costing us 7 people 4k for the night. Tried calling customer care, but they were of no use. The foolish operators just kept on saying they were trying to help. Out of 8 days, our car was left with servicing centre for 5 days. We had to hire a new car and pay ₹ 22k/- extra charges for that as well. Also, we missed our hotel stay in Tabo, for which we already had paid non-refundable ₹ 2k/ person. Such miserable services are completely unacceptable and their license should be ceased. FAKE! FRAUD! SCAMMERS!

Very bad service. Not worth your money or your time. Management is absolutely bogus and fraudulent. I made a booking 3 weeks before the pick-up during which time there were conversations about the car, the documents and other relevant issues, all they had to say then was "dont worry sir", So I paid the deposit and then they say everything is okay, your documents are in order and the car is okay. Until 1 day before the pick-up they said the car is damaged you have other options. Which is understandable, but normally you get a compensation for promises made to a customer. Then, asked me to rent a car that wasn't suitable for the type of trip I was going for. And then said that my license isn't being able to be verified by their "software". I have licenses in 3 different countries one of which is international. I wonder where their "system" operates, Mars? Seems like they really didn't want to rent their cars out. My whole trip was ruined by their inefficient, unprofessional and non diplomatic bureaucracy.

My experience with selfdrives.in was excellent. We booked swift diesel version at a price of 2100 per day. The car was maintained in a good condition. Although the car was driven more tha 115k kms but the mileage was impressive (around 19kmpl with ac) We travelled 1200 kms in total in 48 hrs and there were no complaints regarding our vehicle. Their fuel policy is simple they will provide the car with full tank fuel and you have to return it in full tank. We returned our vehicle few hours earlier than given deadline. The seldrive executive checked our car and instantly returned our 5k deposit. Note- If you don't want to loose your 5k deposit follow their guide lines. Don't cross 120 kmph speed limit. Do not damage the vehicle. Do not loose the Rc book and other provided documents. P. S- This was the cheapest rental service with variety of rental cars.

They taught me why not to trust anyone in this world. I booked and paid for Renault Duster however they gave us kwid in worst condition. The spare tyre in the car was also punctured which caused us delay to reach on time. They charged half of the security deposit for that and other half for minute and silly things. They asked us to sign the papers and told us that the refund for the extra money that we paid for Renault Duster would be sent online. When we contacted online, they told us that no refund will be initiated since we had already signed the papers. This cost us extra 10k because we tried to save 1-2k by not booking from revv or zoom. Go for professionals. Selfdrives.in just have Collaberation with unprofessional third party tourist name Pannu travels.

Never go to this place....just money minded idiots are filled there...we booked for 3days and extended for 1day with the help of direct selfdrive website and we paid for that directly...but these guys were all drunk and didn't give our refund amount back...we didn't have any money for our return tickets to go back to our place..even we said that the guy was so rude..and took all our money as penalty for our direct booking.we tried explaining but he didn't lissen...overall very unexpected sad experience with you...and try come to tamilnadu and learn from us how get people not money

[Scam] I am an avid traveler and have booked vehicles from multiple companies. My experience with SelfDrives has, by far, been my worst experience of life. The quality of cars is pathetic, and even worse is their customer service. The car broke down in the middle of the trip with no help from the customer care. We were asked to get the car mended with the promise that the money shall be reimbursed. It has been more than a month now, and no refund has been initiated. Moreover, they have even stopped responding to mails. NEVER EVER BOOK A CAR FROM THEM.

When paying for a premium 4x4 hire, you expect premium services as a bare-minimum. Doorstep delivery and pick-up with prompt responses via their whatsapp page and unbelievably true pics of their vehicle exterior and interiors in order to confirm the choice you are after. Several MT and AT options across all segments and will always be the go-to self drive option whenever in Delhi.

I booked a skoda kushaq At with white colour for 3 days nice car and nice service.and staff was very helpful specially Mr.Viijay Rana Ji tell them all formalities like Fast Tag Fully loaded and car was neat and clean when we reach the location dwarka sec12 car was ready no waste the time all formalities done and handover the kye . Booked Fortuner car last weekend with Self Drive. Thou I have read very bad reviews against them on google but as other companies were charging on the higher side so I tried to take one time risk. The reason of writing the review is my experience with the company as it was completely different from the reviews on Google - the support staff was very courteous, the company has wide range of cars with various price range. I would highly recommend you readers as my experience was exceptional.

When you collect car from them, they are way nice people. But when you are returning their car back, then comes the real face of these chameleons. They will give you faulty car and since your security money is blocked, they will make you dance like puppets. Will charge you for unnecessary things. They have worst service and when you don’t pay as per their demand then they act like goons. No professionalism at all. Please stay away and don’t get trapped by these unreal and fraud people.

Pathetic customer service and looked fraud to me. Kept on changing the rentals for innova. Customer representative mentioned per day rental as 4000 for innova whereas it was 3500 on the website and while I called up again another customer representative changed the rate to 4500 and then disconnected the call. Tried calling them again but noone responded. Security deposit is too high for the cars seems like they want to mint that money. I will not recommend you guys to anyone for sure.

Save ur money and go pay more to rent from a trustworthy company. 1) I booked Ford aspire - confirmed twice on email as phone whether the vehicle was available and they said yes. 2) Went to pick up the vehicle - was given Etios instead which is a hatchback, had to take it as I have already done the payment online (foolishly). 3) Returned the vehicle before time on April 20th. 4) Security deposit of 5000 has not been returned to me even after I politely reminded them multiple times.

They are not bad people after all.. Definitely there was a change of car when reaching the place(hence 3 star) but the car quality was decent. I left one document inside the car they also returned the same. After a few follow ups, they refunded the security money and they promised to return the difference of fare in the 2 cars(one which I booked and one which I got) - let us hope I get it back. One option they should add is the delivery option of car(at extra charge that is fine)

They are a bunch of cheats. They said the speed limit is 80kmph and there's a speed lock so the speed won't go beyond that. They also said you need not worry about overspeeding since the car would not allow that. However the speed might have gone beyond 80 once in a while and at the end of the trip they showed us 2-3 instances where speed was overshot. They said this is liable to fines and did not return our 5000 security deposit. Sore unethical losers.

Very poor customer service ! I paid 5000 cash as security deposit before renting the car on the premise that the deposit will be returned to me the moment I return the car. It has been more than 2 weeks, called them several times, but still haven't got the deposit back. They only keep assuring, but they never take a action. Highly disappointed by the service, I am never going to use this service again !

Booked a Tata Safari Storme for 3 days. Extremely poor condition of the car. Headlight was not working properly. Somehow managed to change the car to XUV 500. That was also not maintained properly. The headlights was not bright at all. Realized this during the trip. And also the brakes were not properly functioning. Extremely disappointed with the services. They don't maintain their cars at all.

Pros: The prices are competitive. Cons: Customer service is very pathetic. They held our 20k deposit for a car because there was a little wreckage in the car. There car condition wasn't great anyway from the beginning but they charge you as if you broke everything. Never rent from service like this rather pay little higher but rent from well established service

We have rented cars from various avenues but ever since we have used Pannu cars the experience has been marvellous. I must admit the car conditions and supportive staff made our life fun loving. Booked a Scorpio for 4 days. Car was very neat and clean and in very good condition. Representative Vijay was very polite and communicated every detail clearly. Gave deposit in cash while taking the vehicle, and got the deposit in cash while returning the vehicle. Would definitely recommend other to try Pannu selfdrives.

I had booked Kwid for my personal use. The car and service was pathetic. The Customer Support are having no sense of talking. Their cars are not upto mark. Condition of the cars is worst. Staff People at the pick up center is worst. NOT RECOMMENDED . POOR SERVICE. Rather go for Myles or Other self driven cars.

Deceptive, fraudsters and tricksters....will give you defective cars and deduct amount from security complaining about "wheel alignment", "tyre condition" and sort of useless stuff. Please stay away from them. Takes a lot of time processing while giving cars nearly 3.5 hours thereby wasting precious rent time!

Worst car rental service. Told 10k security deposit initially but Charged hefty security deposit of 20k when we reached the location to pick up the car. Didn't return a single penny out of it. Deducted all the security deposit money for minor denting. Loot rahe he yeh log. Rent charges are also very high.

Got the worst car ever, badly scratched and put together with tapes. Drove it on the highway praying to the Gods. Random ad hoc charges will be deducted from your deposit with absolutely no recourse so the cost is much more than what is displayed on the website. Awful experience.
