We had to move with pretty short notice and we had so much stuff to go through and not enough room to put it in the new place. So we had no choice but to get a storage unit. And we’re so glad we did! The experience was just fantastic thanks to Richard! He was absolutely fantastic an absolute 100% people person. He made us laugh at a time when we were very stressed out and he was so helpful and gave us a great unit indoors so that we could come anytime of the year and look through our stuff and get rid of what we need to get rid of. Like I said it was a very stressful time and Richard just lifted all of the stress off of us and gave us such a great experience, we would recommend anyone looking for a storage unit to go to this location 100%! It was a great experience he made it very easy for us and we appreciate him going above and beyond. A big thanks to Richard! And to Sentinel storage for the great service! The storage lockers were beautiful, clean and well-maintained, And the size of unit that Richard recommended once we explained what we had worked perfectly. Highly recommend this storage facility! We moved our mom from BC to a retirement residence in Edmonton, AB in late spring 2022. We chose the Sentinel Storage facility in Edmonton west-end (210 Street and 100 Avenue). When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the storage units at this location remained DRY through the spring thaw! The staff and management were friendly, knowledgeable, and most helpful. They listened to our needs, showed us unit options, and explained in detail the payments and promos so that we could make an informed decision before finalizing the unit. They were also very patient and helpful with our mom’s particular paperwork needs and payment process. Their kind understanding was greatly appreciated and calming at a stressful time for our family. We have been storing things in the unit for over a year and a half and we have been to the storage unit multiple times. The unit has continued to remain dry and worry-free. The facility site is set up for convenient access to the units and has always been clean and well maintained every day we have been to the site. The staff and management are always happy to help and answer any questions, whether in person or over the phone. They take pride in running their facility and it shows!

I have never rented storage before, no idea how it works or what to expect. I have seen Sentinel properties around so I looked up a number and contacted their head office. The experience at that end was what I expected, helpful but a canned speech. I left some information and was called right away by Richard at the west Edmonton facility. Richard was extremely welcoming, listened to my questions and told me everything I needed to know. I decided to drive over, meet him and look at a unit or two. The welcome in person was even better than the phone if that was possible. I found a unit, they had some good pricing options to choose from. Richard was able to point me to the best value for my needs. I left 30 minutes later with a storage unit, a lock and everything i needed, I almost feel like one of the family. Too bad I can’t live in it, great landlords.

If i could give a zero start rating I would. My experience with Sentinel Storage has been very disappointing. They are under new management by StorageVault Canada that is based out of Toronto and since this change, the customer service has been horrific. They are only concerned with acquiring new customers, and unfortunately long term loyal customers suffer... I have also had a very difficult time with the new site manager who does not understand the concept of customer service. I guess they realize they have you at their mercy given how difficult it would be to move out the entire contents your locker to move to a different, better managed facility. Save yourself the trouble, and take your business elsewhere from the start.

All my dealings at this location have been with Mary. I have found Mary to be an excellent person to deal with. She is curtious ,friendly, helpful and accomodating . I had my storage units booked with her and then shortly after I found myself in a situation where I needed to cancel my units. It was no problem and I didn't have to pay a penalty. She is willing to work with her tenants, which I found to be very valuable in my situation at the time. As I can only comment on my initial communications to book and unbook my units, I would definitely recommend calling this location. Based on this experience, I would rate them 5 stars.

The staff in the office at Winterburn location are amazing! Always a super warm and friendly greeting, either in person or on the phone. I've only had the pleasure of speaking directly to Richard and Lori but other lady that was present for my drop ins has been just as welcoming. Very friendly and professional. They explained everything in detail and would even call or email to check in and see how I was getting along with things and to remind me of cut off dates and prorated fees before I would end up spending more for less days. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Richard is an amazing worker, he's patient, great customer service attitude. AAAA++++ . Richard Dendwick was extremely helpful. He took great time to explain the contract to me and then took the time to explain some things to my wife who was sitting outside in the car. Then as I went to my storage unit I had problems understanding how to open up the garage door and then how to properly lock the door. Twice he came back to my unit to show me how to do it, and I know it was almost closing time and he was so pleasant in helping me. He works there like he owns the company. Thank you Richard!

The Sentinal is amazing to deal with. They definately made my day and helped me out more then any buisiness has done before. I would definately suggest to anyone that the only place to store your belongings is at the Sentinel in Winterburn. Richard is a phenominal Manager with exceptional people skills and genuine compassion for people that shines through in his personality. I believe he is an angel here on earth. I will definately use Sentinel for any of my future storage needs. 10 out of 10 in my eyes!

I have been dealing with sentinel Winterburn for several years now. I am always happy with the customer service that they provide. Mary is very thorough and follows through if there have been any small issues Mary definitely takes care of the issues and resolves promptly. First of all Richard was fantastic. He s very kind and polite. I would deal with him again, and I would recommend people see him when they get there. He explained everything so well and he answered every one of my questions. I also liked the prices of the storage units. I really got a good deal on my storage unit. Fabulous place if you need a storage unit for anything. I loved his energy and patience's.

Fabulous facility. Have been using for 13+ years. Secure storage with electronic monitoring of each individual UNIT. Staff are all helpful and friendly and onsite to help when needed. Easy to use, temperature controlled environment, and I feel safe/even when using after hours. Added IKEA Ivar shelving in the unit to minimise the unit size and make it easier to find stuff when required. Thanks Sentinel.

So end up loosing atleast $30k worth of inventory. No security sleeping in offices. somebody broke in worked here for hours and the secured sentinel management was on sleep. I by mistake forgot to take insurance and see what happened its not an hour or two job. I will request everbody not to come atleast on this place.. half of stuff is gone I guess left over will get picked up soon ...

If I could do a negative review it would be A negative 5 terrible service, doesn't respect customers at all and called on behalf of my storage unit to be paid to be paid got told it was no problem and then got several unprofessional emails from Keith and Marry. and taking a unit illegally, I would highly suggest to stay away from this place. There are no where near professional.

The day I decided a need a unit was the day I got one. They made it quick and painless and the deal they had on for the first month was unbelievable so I went in paid for my unit was given a very informative tour and was on my way, they make it so easy to move in as well with carts and lifts easy to use freight elevators. I have never had a storage unit in a better place.

Our circumstances were difficult, being 3000 kms away and trying to coordiante a move back to Alberta and building a new home. Laurie and Richard are EXEMPLARY customer service experts and just plain great people who went above and beyond to help us. We can't recommend them and Sentinel Storage Edmonton West, highly enough.

Unit door frame was smaller than expected, so it was hard to work with. There was a plastic pallet on the floor, dont know why it was left. Then a structure beam that got in the way, and very dirty. Lastly, they did not sweep the floor. I know its an outdoor storage, but they could have gotten a broom for a few seconds.

Have used a few storage places in the past and this is by far the best experience I have even had. They have been so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this location to anyone and everyone. Once I end up moving stuff out, if I ever need a storage unit again I will come back here for sure. Simply amazing!

Fantastic experience. I booked the unit from Calgary and schedulled a pallet delivery of equipment to Sentinel. The team there took the shippment into my locker for me, and put a lock on until I could get there. Snow was always shovelled, billing on time, and everyone super helpful!

The staff in the office were super friendly and helpful. The locker worked for our purpose I would say though, that the front fence and gate are looking a little old and it doesn’t seem like it would be difficult to cut through or jump over. In my opinion.

I have nothing to base other storage companies on, as this is my first time requiring a storage facility, but everything with Sentinel went very easy, from signing up to having access to my belongings, there has not been one issue.

The booking and office staff were excellent. They explained everything clearly and were very professional. I appreciated the opportunity of being able to access my unit any time I needed. Very reasonable rates and easy to access.

Choose somewhere else. I got charge because I dd not cancel my agreement on the day that I was supposed to because they were closed on Sunday and Monday. Now I have to pay for a week of storage that I do not even need.

Is a very comfortable environment. I lost my husband in 2021 and it was difficult to put his things in storage. Yet the ladies gave me a safe space to go through the process.
