I want to make a review for Ury Goloumenko. He performed surgery for our dog Perseya on August 7 th, 2023. She had right hip luxation and her femoral head ligament was torn and joint capsule was disrupted. Ury suggested us to do femoral head ostectomy as it was the best course of action in that situation for long-term success and comfort. We trusted the doctor and agreed. The operation lasted 2 hours. The doctor showed us her MRI before and after that everything went well, the cut was smooth. We picked up Persia a few hours after the operation. She recovered quickly from the operation and felt well. We followed all the doctor’s recommendations for her rehabilitation. And 3 weeks after the operation, Perseya began to run and walk on four legs. Our happiness knew no bounds, as this was a very good result. We are very grateful to the doctor Ury Goloumenko for his professionalism and vast experience. He made a diagnosis very quickly and acted clearly and confidently. We will recommend him to everyone. The best surgeon we have ever met!

I love this clinic and have used its professional services for over 18 years. Any time I called, appointments were scheduled almost the same or the next day. Waiting time to see the doctor is 5-7 minutes. In emergency situations-immediately. Very knowledgeable staff. Doctor Sheynberg always explained and gave recommendations during the visit and called after the visit explaining the results of analyses of my kitty and recommending if she needed anything. If Doctor Shaynberg is away (very rare), Doctor Yuri can also give you advice and see your loved one. I am thrilled that my kitty is getting good care at the clinic. I recommended this place to a couple of my friends. They are also happy. What can be better to have your little kitty healthy.

My name is Annemarie. I believe I can speak in a much more reputable position than most. Every pet I've acquired over the years has been a rescue whether it be dog or cat. At my highest point I had 26 dogs and well over a hundred cats. Dr. Sheynberg and his staff have created many miracles over the years in saving their lives, those that came either from the street or abusive situations. I know these people close to 30 years and many of their vets working there in now I have seen them grow from when they were only vet techs. Sheepshead Bay vet group I've been using over 30 years and they have taken care of close to 300 of my animals. I would never trust no one else but them...

DO NOT GO HERE. All these other reviews are fake. This vet has been my vet for 2.5 years and denied my dogs flee and tick prevention tablets on chewy. After calling to see why my dog's medication was denied they told me that NY law states that my dog needs an annual check up before the vet can prescribe any medication. I call Petco 5 minutes later, and they tell me that my dog doesn't even need a prescription as the medication I tried to order was over the counter. I call the vet back and you could hear that they were caught in their voice. This place takes advantage of pet owners as a means to solicit new business. Truly disgraceful.

I took my four dogs here for over 15 years, my dog had an ear infection, they prescribed medication and it did not help. I called the office four times in four days and nobody got back to me. They couldn't care less that my dog was suffering and I am a Cancer patient and they were completely cold and ignorant. I ended up giving my dog my own amoxicillin after reading it was okay to do so. Don't take your animals here, they lied and said my dog had fleas and were upset I would not let them charge me $259 for flea baths and collars, all about money. Dr Sheyenberg is not the same, as he got old he got very money hungry and very grumpy.

I'm very frustrated to read negative reviews .I have been going to doctor Sheynberg for over15years .He is the most knowledgeable and honest doctor who cares and save the lives .Every minute for many years he has been dealing with pain ,illnesses and looses. Dr Sheynberg had treat cancer on my friends cat and removed cancer tumor. The cat lived another 8 years of cancer free normal life. Thanks to the doctor, my Sphinx cat lived 15,5 years (this breed has lifespan up to 14 years). I adopted a kitten and i'll continue coming to Dr.Sheynberg. Thank you for all you do . I appreciate you and highly recommend.

We took our dog here because our usual vet was booked and I didn't wanna wait to have my dog looked at (she had been sick...it wasn't VEG level emergency, but we didn't wanna wait over a week.) So the vet tech Abe is a damn rockstar. Took my pup's temperature and she didn't even flinch. (It's not an oral thermometer... yikes...) Then Dr. Moreno came in to do an exam and get some blood. Again, dog was fine. Mind you, she HATES the vet and will not cooperate when it comes to needles and such. Zero issues. So happy to have another vet to take our dogs to. Great bedside manner from the Dr and the tech.

Excellent communication skills within the whole veterinary clinic from phonecalls to in person,from walking in being greeted from the assistants n also the Dr n assistants were very knowledgeable n helpful when I came to the care of my cat and for the cost of the visit.everything was professional,caring understanding n able to help me n my family as best as they can for the health of our pet.thanks.also the cat was very comfortable n behaved well for it's first visit they made him feel comfortable.they were very kind the blanket n toys we brought for him from home.

Brought my kitten here after he had experienced a loss of appetite and the people at SBVG did an excellent job. Making an appointment was easy through the phone and the vet techs and doctor were friendly and clear with the treatment my kitten was going to receive. I wanted to get him his rabies vaccine but the doctor wanted to make sure he got better first before doing anything else which shows they really do care about your pet. Also received a follow up call the next day for a checkup on my kitten which I appreciated and will be back again.

Today is a sad day for us, we relocating across country and we will have to part with the clinic and Dr. Jacob in particular. For over 27 years we would bring to Dr.Jacob all our pets, they all had a happy and healthy life thank to the group of dedicated , awesome and fantastic group of professionals. We love dr Moreno! She’s just brilliant and highly professional doctor! We trust her opinion 1000% For my cat Toffy it was an emergency situation and dr Moreno took a great care of her. She explained everything step by step and now we’re waiting for the surgery. Such a warm hearted person she is and doctors like her are rare these days! Also nurses and stuff are also great!

Stay away ! Paid almost $682 and vitamins for lab test and visit but they only emailed lab results and doctor cannot be reached, front desk is very rude and doctor is not friendly either I been trying to reach out the doctor because cat is very ill but rude staff has been telling me last 7 hours she will call you soon. Please stay away they only want your money !!!!

My dog was not ok for a while I went to 2 clinics , paid a bunch of money for so many tests that did not help at all. A friend told us not to was our money and time. He said take your dog to Sheepshead Bay Veterinary and we did……wooow the best pet clinic EVER and Dr Moreno is the best veterinarian I ever met. Experienced, professional, kind and patient. Very SATISFIED!

my beloved family pet was passed away in dec 2022. I spent so much time to recover and finally have the courage to write this review. Dr. Moreno and the staff are absolutely amazing. They are not afraid of my pitbull Aries, and they find ways to get him through examination/procedure without getting upset with his behavior. I’m so grateful we were able to find Dr. Moreno. If you have a dog that doesn’t do well at the vet, I recommend you visit SBVG.

The technician left the vet to go to the liquor store next door and walked back in trying to hide a bottle of liquor with no bag. Quite literally an alcoholic at 11am is handling the treatment of our pets... I have photos of this and already reported them to the American Veterinary Association to investigate.

We have been coming to this clinic for 7 years. Its a wonderful place for our pet family members. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and always can give us a direction to make our pets healthy. We appreciate being part of this clinic and all the hard work done for our dogs through out the years.

Not recommend. Vets are nice and friendly, but the front desk ladies didn't care about you and your pets. They lost my cat's blood, so they told a lie to ask us do the blood test again for comparing the difference. They gave us some food sample but My pet is a cat, she gave me the dog food.

Visit Dr MAX in Sheepshead Bay Group on Coney Island avenue and Neck Road. I can honestly say he puts my medical Doctors to shame. He is caring, thorough, accurate in analysis and calls to check how your pet is doing during and after illness. Does your Physician do that ?

This weekend we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy. The staff at sheepshead by the veterinary group were so nice and understanding. Thank you so much it was such a hard time for us and the staff made it a very comfortable experience.

Vet was thorough and said that cat didn't need teeth cleaning unlike other vet we took her to. In addition, other charged us for tests not needed. Reception and vet staff treated us well.

The staff has a very bad attitude especially the front desk. They made us wait one hour and they were being nice to certain people meanwhile giving an attitude to everyone else.

Dr. Moreno is great! My Ginger has been seeing her for year now and she loves it. The staff is always so friendly. And Dr. Moreno really shows she cares about our fur-babies.

I’ve taken my little boy to this vet for over 4 months and I love how they love my cat. I also love Dr Moreno! She is brilliants and professional 1000% recommended.
