Boycott this station! Tonight I went to this Shell to get gas. I sat in my car waiting, while I saw the attendant carrying on a conversation with the passenger in the van behind me. They were laughing and talking, completely oblivious to the fact that several other people were waiting. After a couple minutes, the attendant shook the passenger's hand and then started to walk up to my car. He opened my fuel door, but before he unscrewed the gas cap, apparently changed his mind and went into the store. I looked, waited, and waited some more. I saw a woman who had arrived a couple minutes after me get out of her car, irritated, waiting for someone to help her. After another minute I got out of my car and did the same. She said, "so you haven't been helped either?" to which I replied, "no, I've been waiting for about five minutes." She said "I can't believe this" and got into her car and drove off. At that point, I turned to the other attendant and said, "I've been waiting for five minutes, if someone doesn't come and pump my gas I'm going to have to do it myself." He mumbled something, walked over, and said, "ok, then what do you want?" I handed him my card and said "fill with regular." I then proceeded to complain about the fact that I had been waiting, the other attendant started to open my fuel door and then just walked inside, and the attendant said something about how something probably came up, things happen. Then he asked me again, "what do you want?" and I said, "I already told you, fill with regular" and he said, "you know what? No. Leave." "What?" I said, "you can't just tell me to leave. You need to pump my gas." "No, it's in our policy, we don't have to serve you." At that point I said, "fine, if you won't serve me, I'll just have to pump my gas myself." He then proceeded to tell me that if I did, he would call the cops, because pumping your own gas is illegal in Oregon. I told him then he needed to pump my gas, and he refused, and again told me he would call the cops. I asked to speak with his manager, and he said she wasn't there, but would be there in the morning. I was halfway tempted to wait for him to call the cops and sit and wait for them to arrive, but ultimately decided it is not worth it for a loser on a power trip, so got in my car and left. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER visit this gas station again. If I run out of gas, I will walk to the next gas station. Period. End of story. You should do the same.
My niece lives and works in Portland. Today she posted this:(you will receive phone calls) Is this how you want your business represented?? Fire the leech!! : "Last night around 4:30 am after closing down the business, I drove toward home, soon realizing my empty gas light was lit. Pulling off to the closest gas station, I rolled down the window against the downpour and asked the gas station attendant if I could pay him in cash without going inside the tiny convenient store. He told me I had to go inside to pay so I left the car and went inside with him slowly following behind. After paying for my gas, returning to my car, and waiting for him to finish filling my tank, he leaned down to my window. I expected him to say 'thank you' or 'have a good night.' Instead he simply said: "I only made you go inside to pay so I could see that fine body." I said nothing and drove away in spite of my outrage because.....well, it was almost 5am and we had been completely alone together at that gas station. I didn't feel safe enough to tell him how I really felt. You never know how someone might react. Unfortunately, sometimes you're forced to take it quietly as a defensive instinct." Her father and I worked for QFC. Her mother worked for Fred Meyer as a career employee of 25+ years.
Went here today to wash my car. The machine scratched my entire car. I noticed it five minutes after I left, when I stopped at a pharmacy down the street. This is a brand new car. I last washed it a little over a week ago (different carwash) and it was looking great. I came back to report it and the only person available was defensive and trying to leave. She took a report of the incident but could not tell me when I would receive follow up. She also refused for me to record the conversation for documentation. There is no doubt that these 1000s of scratches were caused by this carwash. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this carwash. This $6 wash now is now costing me $500 with my deductible. Hopefully this place will pay for that and the repairs. I attached the video i took of the damages, before filling out report.
Went there tonight. I asked if I needed to pay inside since I was paying cash. The gas attendant said he would take it outside this time. I told him I would do it but he said then you would see me again. At first I didn't hear what he said so I asked him what he said. He said you would see me again. I didn't know he was the cashier since there was another attendant inside the small store. I asked him again what he meant and he repeated it again. Then he walked off yelling Jesus Christ mumbled something and idiot. It had been a very long and tiring day for me. I was very tired and not 100% thinking sharply. I thought that was verythromycin very rude. I have been going to that location since it was Texaco. Never again.
I have found some times the store closes at 10, 10:30 and 11 pm on no scheduled or particular night. So basically this stores closes when they feel like it. However These people have been very nice to me at times. Other times I wonder where their heart is. But I know we all struggle and have bad days. I am giving them what I have to give. God bless you all. Jesus is generous loving and RIGHTEOUS. Jesus Reigns Amen. Be kind to each other, listen, be patient, walk away if you have no alternative, but hate no one, for that only builds your hate higher, and the judgement against you stronger.
Gas attendant here was completely rude. Didn't catch his name, but it'sk 9:30pm 10/30/2021. He told us to pump our own gas because it was "going to be a while" but he was only serving one other customer. There were no other extenuating circumstances that would have warranted us to pump our own gas under legal circumstances in the state of Oregon. On top of that, he was completely rude. This guy should be reprimanded severely.
Wish I had read the reviews before going to this carwash. Immediately after entering I regretted my decision. It's not the usual kind where a person guides you into a track. You just drive on in and hope you positioned the car right as brushes violently shake your car. After I came out, the sides of my car had multiple long surface scratches and the windshield, top of the car, and hood weren't in the slightest bit clean.
They put a $200 hold on our credit card for a routine gas purchase. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never experienced this at any gas station and have live nationwide. This could be extremely financially detrimental to someone. Most hotels don’t even put a hold that large on a credit card. This is unnecessary, inappropriate and inconsiderate to your patrons.
Came in to put DIESEL in my car and the attendant was so careless that she filled it up with UNLEADED. Idiot! Had to have my car towed to the dealership, was not treated any better by management/corporate. I will be following up on this as it is 1 am and I'm stuck without a ride home. If you can avoid this place please do so.
The crew is fantastic. They work great and are very friendly. The car wash is violent lol. Shakes my whole car, but does it come out clean? I guess it does. If you have a new expensive car, I'd take it someplace else, if you have an old rugged vehicle, or you just don't care about the brushes, then it does the job ok.
This is the 2nd time coming here during late hours. Only because on Google it says it's open 24hrs... But most definitely it is not. Not great when I drive some miles just to get here on completely empty tank thanks to my not so great husband right now.. ♀️ what can ya do.,.. …
The worst customer service experience ever. The lady who was there at 5 am so disrespectful and unprofessional. Not as a worker as a human she is the one i will never wanna see her face again. Not that hard to have HUMAN manners.I don’t know what to tell but not definitely going back.
Sitting up against my 2019 car while getting gas is very ignorant. I could not believe my eyes. I had to open the door and stop the attendant from sitting up against my car. His name was Chris and I intend on complaining to Jackson as well. How unprofessional!
Do not use the car wash here- it caused multiple noticeable surface scratches on my car which is a huge bummer. Looks like this has happened to others too. I will definitely pay for a touchless wash somewhere else next time! No issues with their gas.
The rudest attendants. I have been many times to this gas station out of necessity and I can say each time I have had the experience of very rude attendants. I have also sat waiting for a long time while they sit and chat with each other. The worst.
Nice energetic service and restroom is clean and prepared. That trip was just before the coronavirus era, so the restroom part may be out-of-date. In general, gas station restrooms are OUT OF ORDER back home in San Francisco.
If you drive a Tesla, you might not be familiar with this place. This is where peasants go to fill up their cars with gas (which is actually a liquid, weird, I know) so they can drive to and from their place of work.
Whatever you do, do not ask cashier for quarters to use their vacuum. “You people can get your own quarters! Im trying to run a business”
The car wash broke the guy in front of me’s mirror and I had to roll down my window mid-wash to make sure it didn’t do the same to mine
Stopped for gas today 5/13 around 3 pm. Very poor service and rude attendants. Used to be my "go to" station. Not any more.
Helpful staff. Was stuck here for 45 minutes with a flat and everyone checked in on me and kept me company while waiting.
A gas station with a car wash and mini Mart. Not really special but adequate and seems like a more maintained lot.
I'm here. And nobody's here to pump gas.. I'm late for work now. Been waiting for 15 min.
It's a gas station, conveniently located. Not the best attendants, but they weren't rude.
Meh...car wash left bugs all over my car. Extra star for the friendly staff though.
Awful experience with this gas station and its carwash. Do not recommend. Avoid.
Super nice attendant! The attendant even put air in my tire! This made my day.
Pricey! Pump yourself! Small store if you need munchies!
The guy with the beard was very helpful with directions.
Friendly staff. I really liked the guy who pumped my gas
Busy small but conveniently located and has a car wash
2nd car wash Google says is open and its CLOSED!
Kind of higher priced but nice employees
Attendant swearing and giving attitude.
$6 car wash = no soap. But $6, OK.
Terrible customer service for gas
Pulled in, got gas, left.
Service is not great.
It was okay I guess.
