The best children’s store in Ottawa!! Very high quality products at reasonable prices. These are things you won’t find anywhere else. The owner Liuba is absolutely incredible. She’s so kind, very passionate about what she does and extremely helpful. She goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you need. She takes the time needed to do it and she never pressures you. I love supporting small, local, super high quality businesses like these. They have an incredible selection of shoes but also winter wear, rain wear, and some clothing and accessories and TOYS! High quality toys made of wood that are durable and aesthetically pleasing. I just discovered that you can get almost all the toys online, though I love the experience of going in store. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for beautiful, durable and high quality pieces with incredible customer service while supporting local businesses!!!!

Been going here for a while, and am always thrilled with everything! Great products, and wonderful service! Even my almost 4yo (who hates trying things on) loves going to this place, and when we say we need new shoes he always gets excited and makes sure we are “going to the place with the red and white cars?!?!”. The owner makes the experience excellent for parents, and for the kids! She’s very knowledgeable and super sweet!!! Shoes, toys, and outerwear that we’ve purchased have always been excellent quality! I’m always recommending this place when I see/hear people asking where to get kids shoes, but realized today that I’ve never left an actual review.

We purchased Salt Water Sandals on a whim one sunny afternoon in the summer. Shoe Plus Shoe was not a store I was familiar with, but I grew fond of it very quickly. The selection of children's footwear is very well curated and I had been looking for sandals for the girls to wear through the summer. The owner was very helpful and took all of the time necessary to measure the kid's feet. The sandals were worn all summer long and are still in great condition for next season. The quality of products and the excellent service will bring us back as soon as the snow melts.

This is a gem of shop that I keep coming back to. The selection of whimsical children's toys (no plastic here), colouring books, puzzles, dolls and stickers/tattoos, etc. is very special and unique. Nothing I've ever seen anywhere else. These items are special and make exceptional gifts. There is also a well-curated shoe collection. We bought some kids' winter boots made in Finland here and they are very high quality. Can't recommend this store enough. Website is very easy to maneuver and the owner delivers to our door!

I ordered some Kombi mittens using their website and payed for delivery. I received an email from Liuba stating they didn't have the size any longer and offered other options. She was able to deliver the mittens that very evening. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication and I was delivered something I was not interested in. Liuba did not hesitate to come back an hour later to exchange for the right product. What wonderful customer service!!! I will not hesitate to order from them again!

I needed shoes for my 3 kids during the pandemic and Liuba, the owner of the store, was really helpful. I called her, told her the measurements of my sons' feet, we discussed possible sizes on the phone, models and colours. It was around noon and at 5 pm that same day, she drove by, dropped of 2 pairs each of shoes to ensure we had the right sizes. My kids tried them on inside the house and then we returned them. Really 5-star service! Thanks Liuba. One less thing on my to-do list.

This store is a gasp of fresh air in a totally standardized shopping experience in Ottawa. So unique, cozy. And the assortment is not just a few bestsellers and a bunch of shelf fillers, but every thing - a pair of footwear, a toy, an accessory - is so carefully chosen and taste forming that I just want to buy everything. Prices are reasonable, service is great. The owner really loves her job. I am so happy I have a default place now where to shop for gifts for my friends’ kids.

Lovely shop with a great selection of shoes and classic beautiful toys, pjs, mittens and raincoats etc. The owner is very patient and helpful when I stop in with my 3 active kids to measure their feet and choose shoes. She doesn’t mind the kids looking around and has a basket of toys they can play with while we shop. She also has very helpful advice with no obligation to purchase. A lovely store with a very unique and fabulous selection of kids shoes and boots (plus some adult shoes too). Also available are accessories (hats, socks, umbrellas), clothing/pyjamas, and kids toys. All items are high quality and clearly selected by the owner with care. The owner is very knowledgeable and patient. The store has a great play area as well. I have already been in twice and will certainly be back!

Every season I buy at least two pairs of shoes here for my son, plus boots. Luba is always on hand to size him just right, and she carries the highest quality shoes. Also a great spot to pick up a unique, eco friendly gift - I love the wood sets! I bought a beautiful kids chess set painted with faces for my sons best fiend one year. It’s a magical place for adults and kids alike.

If you have a kid you better watch out. A lot of toys around in a perfect position for the kids to grab them and they are not allowed to take them or watch them if you are not going to buy it. Worst customer service even if we were about to buy some snow shoes. Never going back to that store.
