I bought a pair of shoes to wear to the gym. I have a problem with my left instep so getting the right pair of shoes is an issue for me. The owner promised if they did not work for me I could get a full refund as long as I tried them in the gym and did not wear them outside. I could not wear the shoes for longer than 5 minutes. I returned to the Shoe Point the next morning and was extremely surprised when the owner advised me he did not say that he would give me a refund. My friend who had been there during the shoe buying was there when I tried to return the shoes and confirmed with the owner that he truly did say I could get a refund. There was a customer in the store who was very upset and started yelling that he told her the same thing and he wouldn't giver her a refund either. It was very sad that the owner is a liar and is dishonest in his dealings with customers. His selection of shoes is poor at best and very unlike Footlocker or Champs. Bottom line - the owner lies to customers to get their business. A few co-workers told me the same thing when I came back to work and told people what happened to make sure they don't shop there. Don't buy shoes there. No matter what the owner says, he will not give you a refund. The owner is shady.

Today is April 19th 2022. I truly need and want to Thank Vikas, at the store in Jackson square. He listened to me as I explained I needed help getting a pair of shoes for someone in Hamilton but I could not physically be there to pay. There seemed no answer and certainly I was a stranger so he was rightfully cautious. He figured out a way to help as he heard my plea to help someone who really was in need. When I called to follow up, he explained that if for some reason , my payment did not go through he would pay himself. I hope Head office and the owner of this store sees what a kind soul they have taking care of their customers. When I get a chance I will personally visit him and shake his hand. I have visited this store a few times over the years & I have never been greeted with a Hello or any kind of greeting.Thought I would give it another try maybe different staff ok no once again disappointing had to ask the 2 woman at counter chatting if anyone working here? I was in the store for about 5-10 minutes already and I was the only one in store .I tried on a pair of boots didn't like the fit & chose to leave since I felt like I was an annoyance and choose not to spend my money in a store with such terrible customer service

Very disappointed. Went there to buy a pair of shoes and a worker said that if I buy one pair I can get the second pair half off. He ringed it and I realized afterwards the prices didn't look right and he actually charged me the full price for both shoes and even didn't give me the receipt so he can hide the fact that the second pair wasn't half price. Not very impress especially when they lie to their customers.

Nice staff. But price rip-off. My "Ortho Flex" F5111 women's boots cost me MORE THAN DOUBLE the price I would have paid from Factory Shoes Online Canada. My bad. I didn't pull out my phone and do an on-line search before I bought them. I would recommend you do that before you buy anything at Show Point.

Bought a pair of dress shoes for $100 they were ruined immediately, split. Brought them in got them exchanged, same thing happened. Too bad for me, no exchange, shoes unwearable. Sad state, where did customer service go? Now I have $100 brand new shoes which I needed that are not wearable.

Always get good shoes at a good price. I walk alot and this is my go to place for shoes downtown Hamilton. Walk the dog, walk to work, walk down to Jackson Square to Shoe Point for shoes for all my walking! …
