Phoned to find out if a prescription was ready for pick up - 5 days after Doctor said it was sent over. Spent 15 minutes on hold before someone answered. Spent 2-3 minutes asking if it was ready and answering questions about my address and birth date, etc. Then I was told it wasn't clear what the status of the prescription was and they would have to check. I was put on hold again. After 10 minutes on hold, I decided to walk over, but stayed ont he line as I walked. Got there in a few minutes, waited in line for a few minutes, waited at the head of the line for a few minutes (still on hold). Finally someone comes to the counter. As I explained to them I was checking to see if a prescription was ready, another staff came over, asked my name and then called the counter staff away for a huddle., saying there was a problem with the prescription. So I said OK, I will call the Doctor and have them sort it out with you. As soon as they heard me calling the doctor, they walked over and spoke a few words to the pharmacist, who immediately came over and said this was the first he had heard of this and he would check it out. I asked them to call me when I could pick up the prescription and left. What really got me was that the first call caused them to think there was a problem. And their response appeared to be to put me on hold until I gave up. No one took any ownership of the p0roblem until they thought a doctor might get annoyed and then, and only then, did they even ask the pharmacist for direction They have held up my cancer treatment for 5 days (and counting), wasted an hour of my time with no progress visible and managed to talk to me like it was my fault. We have used this pharmacy for a decade without problem. A new pharmacist took it over recently and I am assuming that is the problem. Will try again with them, but another experience like that one and I will have to find another pharmacy.
On October 20, 2023, I visited the Shoppers store (777 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M2) to have photographs taken for my PR application. Initially, everything went smoothly, until after the photo session when I requested a digital copy of the photos to meet my application requirements. The issue arose at this point. When I inquired about obtaining a digital copy of the photos, the photographer initially informed me that the store did not provide digital copies. However, I noticed a sign right beside him clearly stating "Digital Photo available." When I pointed this out, the photographer changed his stance, stating that I could only obtain the digital copy by purchasing their USB storage device, despite my insistence that I had my own USB. it doesn't make sense to me. I would ultimately need to transfer the photos to my computer and then upload them to the application website. After I emphasized this point, the photographer even claimed that it was a government requirement. Frustrated and feeling this was an unnecessary expense, I had to forgo the photo session. Subsequently, I went to another studio where the service was smooth, and they provided a free digital copy sent to my email. I would like to seek clarification on whether this is a Shoppers policy or a personal decision made by the photographer. This experience was highly unsatisfactory and a waste of my time
Exceptional customer service from Shoppers on Sherbook. I would like to personally recognize the owner of the store and the manager of the store, Louella. Very kind and very compassionate. Since day one, they have gone out of their way to help others. At Easter time, they donated approx 30 gift bags to children’s hospital that were full of cute stuffed animals and Easter chocolate for children admitted on the inpatient units. I had the wonderful opportunity to deliver these goodies to each child, and let me tell you... I have never in my life seen babies and kiddos smile so big! Even the teenagers loved them! Every child was so happy. You have no idea how meaningful this gesture and donation was. These children would take their stuffed animals to every test and procedure with them as they provided them with so much comfort. That night, every kid slept so well as they all had a little stuffy to cuddle and love! Shoppers even told me if I needed more they would send more as they didn’t want to leave any kiddos out! Thank you on behalf of children’s hospital nurses for everything and our little friends who you made SO happy! You have done so much for all of us and we can’t thank you enough for your kindness, generosity , and compassion! Thank you to the owner and Louella specifically!! - emily (nurse)
I live nearby, and been coming here for years. Security always makes me feel uncomfortable, I feel discriminated ever time I go there. I can't even buy a jug of milk without them standing down the aisle staring me down. I'm aboriginal, and I work. Never stole in my life, and I seriously think all they're efforts to stopping shoplifters can be placed else where. Or they can be more subtle, I don't like going there, but sometimes I need to buy a quick few things or load my peggo card. I usually forget a couple of things I'm buying because I'm too busy focusing on them following me around. I would like if they trained their security better, I've been to other shoppers and this place is the only one where the security is following close behind every aisle, corner and they make me feel like they are escorting me to the exit by standing close to the cash registers while I'm ready to pay.
Terrible customer service at the Pharmacy. I went here because the pharmacy at Manitoba clinic run out of refill for my child's inhaler. The person in the pharmacy counter does not want to give me a refill telling me 'it is still a lot - even if your child use it for the next 2 weeks it will not run out'. The inhaler I had was a left over from the last time my child got sick and had been used for 2 weeks. The guy said that "we never know if he would even use it for a week". I said "yeah, we never know if that would even be enough as well, so why can you not give me a refill in case it run out". I live near west perimeter and it would be hassle to go back there just for the refill. He said he will ask his pharmacist. I said, can you just give me a refill regardless? The doctor already told us we can get it now. He said 'you have to wait for 25 mins.'
Was on a time crunch to have to go to another postal service due UPS closing at 6:30pm. Shoppers postal staff was on break until 6:30pm.. I told the staff at the front about my dilemma, about having to be at the other place for that time. I asked them if they could help me out with my situation. They rudely told me to just put it on the counter, but it's not their responsibility if someone random comes up and takes the package. I was appaled since these packages are other people's purchases from the collectible store I work at. The staff was rather mean and not understanding of the situation at hand, as well as the time crunch/urgency. Don't waste your time coming to this Shopper's Drug Mart. I get better treatment at the Redwood Shopper's Drug Mart instead of this location.
The Store is fine, but There is SERIOUS LOITERING PROBLEM A man asking for money WITHOUT A MASK RISK for EXPOSURE of COVID Standing right outside the store EXIT Literally watching my mother struggle to open the door, when he could have helped her instead he's asking for money Even FOLLOWED MY MOTHER to her CAR asking money Then he goes asks another PARENT thats has there KID RUDE, Uncomfortable and The Store needs to address ISSUE CALL the COPS, tell the LOITER to LEAVE Harassing CUSTOMER when you ENTER and LEAVE the store COVID WEAR A MASK and if can't SOCIAL DISTANCE 6 ft in the store, but then get HARASSED right outside there doors. 711, Gaint Tiger, Walmart, Superstore DON'T have LOITERING PROBLEM
Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. I was at the pick up station picking up my prescription and I asked the Filipino lady behind the counter about my insurance. She must have thought I was a newcomer behind my mask because she started talking in Tagalog. Once I told her, "Sorry I don't speak Tagalog", she seemed kind of ticked off that she had to speak English and talked like she just wanted me to hurry up and pay for the prescription. I payed without my insurance, and she didn't even bother to ask if I had an optimum card, which is too bad. I could have gotten lots of points because my prescription was pretty expensive without the insurance.
absolutely the worst pharmacy i've ever used. went to osborne shoppers for years, and they were great, so when i moved i figured i would go to the closest shoppers to my place. terrible decision. they refuse to even process a refill request until after i've already run out of my daily meds, their online refill process takes days, several staff have been unbelievably rude, they didn't tell me they were out of stock of my last prescription and it took 4 visits over the course of a week to pick it up, they don't cover things my old shoppers did under the same plan - been going here less than 2 months and i'm over it. go literally anywhere else.
Hands down the worst place to deal with, there is literally only 1 male pharmacist and 1 assistant who are qualified to work here otherwise each and everyone one of them either needs to go back to school or learn the art of understanding or even basic care. My disabled son gets to suffer yet again by their mistakes (which they are not being accountable for) The very moment I can talk to my son's care team I will file an official report (I've made sure to keep names and dates) and change stores completely. Between me and my son that's over 10 years to see this location go down hill and fast, so sad honestly
I came to pick up my prescription they told me over the phone they’re open til 10, I arrived at 9:55 and the staff and security started yelling at me because I was walking towards the pharmacy telling me I’ll set off the alarm like what the actual f. The pharmacist then starts lecturing me yet I arrived before 10. I’ll be switching my pharmacy after I pick up my medication tomorrow never again will I accept this poor service and treatment at this shoppers. Also my son has had a prescription here from nearly 3 months ago that they cannot even fill. Horrible.
Will tell you they take return on your item and then deny it when you come in to take the return, then the manager has the audacity to claim they properly train their staff, It's unprofessional to misinformation customers esspecially when you're buying 1 item and ask if it can be returned. Manager and staff raised voices at me and gaslight me and told me to call the 1800 number, getting paid for nothing but to disrespect and give bad service, I've tried coming here but it's always been a bad experience at this location
Just at this moment, writing after being hung up by the woman on the cosmetics customer service and she seemed in rush to hang up and also rude and totally denied ever having an item which shoppers have been carrying for years. Its Schwarzkopf got2b phenomenal. I knew by being there earlier that the item did not seem to be on the aisles and being curious just wanted to ask the reason why its not there the first time in years and also possibly to get an answer when it would arrive next. Terrible customer service.
My family and I have gone to this shopper's for years. The staff had offered good customer service. In terms of the pharmacy, the service there has always been very good! When I ask questions, I get clear answers to whatever I need and they also ensure I understand what I am getting. There has been a few incidents with a few times where my Aboriginal father has felt followed a little, but it's been sparse when it has happened.
Called to get prescription transferred (an important one) the pharmacy person on the phone, despite me giving them the birthday and having them repeat it to me, called over and gave the wrong one Then proceeded to not answer the phone. Then closed the store…. So in short. No very important prescription because of this person. I highly recommend you avoid this pharmacy. Lots near by, use them instead
Made a Flu appointment on october 14, 2023 for 4pm when we arrived told us the pharmacist left and to come back tomorrow at 10am. Now they're telling us we cannot be accomodated as there are others having appointment after some convincing came to only accomodating me and my wife but not our kids as apparently he wasnt comfortable to give flu shots to kids less than 8y/o.
Worst pharmacy Refilling my medication is always a pain, I have gone without my meds, they seem to always have to order it in but won’t let me refill any earlier. Telling me I don’t have a prescription on file when I clearly do (and can see I do online). Trying to phone the pharmacy is a nightmare, always on hold or the line is busy when I try to call
This is the most ghetto Shoppers Drugmart I've ever been to. After the Canada Post clerk denied giving me my package for getting there at 8:03, some guys tried stealing a $3 Delissio pizza and one got slammed into the freezer by the cop and then tazed. It was an eventful night and I didn't even get my damn package so I'll have to go back.
Called for help with my refills but whoever that young guy who answered the phone didn't even help just wanted to get back to joking around with someone there, plus I think they laughed when I ask if he can call the other pharmacie on borrows and Keewatin to see if the phone is working there cause I been calling them too.
I totally disappointed with the service of Canada post inside the shooper .Two weeks ago i sent two mails one for me one my wife ..important papers but they didn't get anything so far i talk with them please help me to find any way where are my papers...post office head not good deal with me very poor customer service .
I been a customer at this location, today I asked two times for an empty box to place my items but one worker was very rude and said no (bold no). I mentioned my frustration for the manager and she said she will check the camera. I will wait for her response for a day or two . very disappointed.
Beware of Customer's parking lot. It's owned by impark so never leave your car to use the washroom or do anything else they will ticket you right away $76.00 and I called Shoppers they wouldnt put a sign on their store to help out customers become aware. I am not coming back to this place
not so great so far the manager got the security to try search me when i had nothing and then she began to scream "STOP RESISTING" it was at the top of her lungs and yet there's the security guard putting my 1 arm to my back not even doing it properly either and thats why u get 1 star
Hacked prices, awful fire hazard exit too. I came to grab a light eye liner for myself that was settle and matching yet she gave me one with glitter on it still ono my face idm what qualifications you need to work here but maybe quality over quantity should be the slogan here. …
Very unprofessional behavior, opening time is 8:00 am and I was stuck with other costumers on the door, we called an employee inside and she said we can't open due to our policy. They opened at 8:10 and everybody was pissed of wasting their time on the cold winter outside .
I want to extend a good Thank you to the great work for already 3 years that I come here for my meds, Mandeep and Andrea have shown always their best services to me and family. Maricel is also a very courteous pharmacy assistant keep up the good work ladies
Service and staff are good, and there's a few nice people who I like. The loitering is an issue though. I was robbed by 3 people standing outside the entrance. The security staff seem to care when people are in the store.
Don't go here unless you want to be labelled as a thief. If you have your own bag, security and staff will watch your every movement without even hiding it. Absolutely appalling and disgusting treatment to regular folks.
Worst costumer service ever!! And security followed the whole time! The cashier didn't even wanted to let me drive away and she wanted to call the police for stealing my own car!! Never ever going back to that place!
They're down the street from the health sciences center. So they are ridiculously busy, lots of foot traffic. Sometimes it takes awhile to get a prescription but they always appear to be doing their best
Shoppers Drug Mart 790 Sherbrook St. Inside Manitoba Clinic We had a wonderful experience with Melissa at Shoppers Drug Mart 790 Sherbrook St. She is very pleasant and funny. It was nice meeting you :)
I will not recommend this store. The lady Pharmacist I have spoken to was rude. Poor customer service.I will not go to this pharmacy ever again! The pharmacy charged me MORE money on my prescription.
Everything is way over priced. Quite literally highway robbery. Points or not. Their worst section. Baby foods... whoever priced those was clearly high out of their face, just saying
I went to pick up my medication. Amoxicillin. Store was empty and it took more than 45 minutes to give my medication. It seemed they like to make people wait.
Great deals throughout the store all the time. Lots of parking. Clean store. Customer service was nice and kind to my daughter's. Thank you to all the staff.
Horrible staff to deal with. They got my pick up date wrong and I went without my medication for an entire day. Absolutely worst pharmacy on the planet
Racial profiling at its worst !! Horrible place to shop, with promoting illegal practices in Canada. Shame. Shame. Shame on shopper's drug mart.
The most resis moment that I faced is in this place .the security and Canada Post atenders make me feel an comfortable.am so mad at this shop
Security profiled me and literally followed me around the store after I had shipped some stuff to the post office. Not a nice feeling at all
Staff cant give you medicine because they want to go home. My son was sick and they dont care. I was here on 20th march 2019 at 9:45 pm.
Go to do some shopping and parking lot is ful watch everyone going to the clinic and not paying for parking even the handicap
Never waited this long for any other pharmacist to give me a few pills. Any other shoppers would do the job 10x faster.
Security guy is not doing his job his is constantly talking with someone on his phone! Then why he is working there
La manger n'a aucun respect envers les clients! elle ne mérite pas sa place à shoppers. Très mauvaise expérience
Best price for milk and egg. I do shop here once I get huge points offer for example “buy $20 get 10k points”!!
Here, things are expensive than other stores such a Walmart, good place to find women beauty stuff though.
Loooong time waiting in the phone, rude cashiers espscially in front, not helpful staff. Worst branch ever
incompetent post office employee, please train your employees so it doesn't take forever to scan an item.
Very poor service After we dealt with the manager she was very ignorant Want go back Anymore.
Every is very expensive, cheaper is wallmart or superstore. But you can fill Pego cards here
The store doesn’t open on time because today Seltember 14, the pharmacist is late for work.
Need to properly train their pharmacy staff. Will update if I see an improvement
I went for flu shot and online says you can visits as walk-in but stores denied
Broken tile in the entrance is a safety hazard. Good experience aside from that
It was the worst dealing with the staff and the manager at work this evening
Abusive employees, stay away if you're indigenous. You will be profiled
Very kind staff and a very clean store always loved this location
totally unacceptable behaviour. hope this location gets shut down
They will keep a close eye on you if your skin is dark
The staff don't know anything about the area there in!
Staffs are nice and the place is very close to HSC!
