This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. If I could give zero stars, I would. I had my file transferred to a different pharmacy because I wasn't happy with Shoppers. I had 24 refills of a medication, but my new pharmacy told me they were never transferred from Shoppers. When I called shoppers to ask about it, they said "nope, there are no refills".. I said, "are you sure? because I am pretty sure my doctor just gave me a lot"... He said "no there are none".. I said, I definitely have refills... he said, "oh sorry about that, they are here.. I will transfer them to your new pharmacy" Two months later, when I needed a refill, my pharmacy told me there are no refills. When I called Shoppers again to say "this happened two months ago, they are there.. we've already been through this", she said "no. no refills"... I said "yes, they are there.. This already happened".. She said "no. no refills", then put me on hold. When she returned, she said "sorry they are here". She told me my pharmacy will have to call them to get the refills. When my pharmacist called, they told her.... you guessed it.... "no refills". When I called Shoppers to ask what is going on, she simply told me to have my pharmacy call again. I said... "No, I think you need to call this time, because we tried that, and you told them there are no refills" She said "I can't make any promises because we are really busy"... Losing my mind at this point, I said, "this is your mistake. I think at this point I come before whatever you are busy doing".. she said "what's the number?", I gave it to her, and then she hung up on me. I would not recommend this pharmacy to my worst enemy. Don't do it. No matter what. This is just one story of what I have been through with this pharmacy. I honestly cannot believe they are even allowed to operate. P.S. I am writing this right after her hanging up on me, so honestly the story could even go further than this. I don't even know if the issue is resolved. DO NOT use this pharmacy.

I went into this location to pickup a couple of items. I called ahead to see if they had it which they did. I found the product on the shelf and proceeded to look for the other items. I couldn't find what I was looking for and asked a clerk (Wendy) who was restocking hair colour boxes. She without getting up said, no, I don't think so. (She did not seem interested in helping me at all or even asking someone else) I found this odd as I was in another Shoppers and saw it there. The item is a generic item which is common in all Shoppers. I proceeded to look for the time myself. I found it on an end unit. I was looking for one other item which I thought would have been on the same display unit (and again, a common item). Again, I found an employee ( a coop student) who again said she was new and didn't know all that much (which is fine and I understood). She said that it should be in this isle and took me to where she thought it would be. It was not there. She then said that they likely don't have it and went back to her work. At this point I became irritated and went to the check out. At the check out the cashier (Lexi) rang my items in. On the two items there where manufacturers discount coupons attached. I asked her if she used the coupons to give me the reduced price. She said no and that some customers don't want to use them right away?? Really?!?!, why would a customer not want to get a reduction right away. In any case, I was a little taken a back with the poor service. Not once, but 3 times. I am a regular customer with Shoppers but I have to say that it is very obvious that "service" is not what it use to be with Shopper, in general. All locations have long line ups and it takes forever to check out. Perhaps I should give Rexall a try.

I am so over going to this location. For years I have been going here because I have my prescriptions there, but the poor customer service and incorrectly ticketed items has been an ongoing issue. Over the past year they are expecting everyone to use the self checkouts. It's not even a choice they literally force you! The only exception is if you have cash which majority do not. They never make an exception whether you are a senior, parent with children in tow or have a full cart of items. I have been to other shoppers and I understand this is pushed from the top but when you politely explain I prefer not to use self checkout many oblige and allow you to use the regular cash registers. Never ever is that a thing at this location. It's appalling. Overpriced and now we literally have to do the work of what a cashier standing at a vacant register should be doing. Although I sympathize with the cashiers because it's not their rule they are generally unpleasant and dismissive at the many people who have voiced concerns about this. Give your heads a shake because now instead of the cashier just manning the register and allowing people to come through you are having to troubleshoot all the self checkouts then pop back for people with cash and delay everything and everyone in the process. So we get a square foot of space for unloading instead of one of several empty registers. The owners should be disgusted at themselves. Your staff are miserable because of this and your customers are fed up. It's not our job to check through the items, it's yours!! I will be cancelling my prescriptions here and going to another location. Corporate greed at it's finest. Jack prices, eliminate jobs and expect customers to do the work. Appalling!

Would give zero stars if I could. I booked a covid vaccine for NY child 3 weeks in advance. I called the pharmacy when I booked it to ensure they had the vaccine. They told me to call back closer to appointment because their stock could expire before then. I called the morning of the appointment and was told they were sure if their stock expired but would call me back to let me know. Two hours later I called them back asking of they checked the expiration date yet. The pharmacist said they were good and I could come in at 1pm to get my child the vaccine. I got there at 1pm and they gave me forms to fill out. After filling out all the gorms and waiting for 30 mins with my bored child the pharmacist comes to the counter and informs me they don't have the pediatric vaccine at all. U asked why they would say they did if they had no stock. The pharmacist replied "we were hoping to get a shipment in today." Then I asked, "Why did you have me gill out forms and wait 30 mins if you don't even have the vaccine?" To which the pharmacist said, "Uhhhhh...." and stared at me until I got up and left with my child. Absolutely ridiculous! It took me forever to find the vaccine for a child to begin with. I checked and double checked with the pharmacist and still you had me wait half an hour just to tell me you didn't have it. Completely unacceptable! No organization or communication whatsoever. All that hassel and waiting around and forms filled out and yet we left with nothing and no one even seemed to care. Will never return to this location.

This is my local pharmacy but I will now be making the further drive to go somewhere else. There is often no one around, and the pharmacy is a long wait due to understaffing, none of which turned me off until what I experienced today. I had one thing. A tube of sunscreen with a 4$ off sticker, which must be processed by a human being. I rang it in at the self checkout and pressed the 'call for help button'. I waited and waited, I even called out for help myself, no one in sight. So I make my way to the cosmetics counter with my item where I wait for the attendant to finish her phone conversation with her husband about which almond milk he should buy at the store. I stand their patiently. I ask if she can ring me up in which she replies yes, but then asks me to go back to the front twice. I explain that there has been no one at the front. In the time this conversation had occurred, one item could have been scanned and my card could have been tapped. But no, she then puts my item down and says she has to go help someone else. I go back to the front, stand at the check outs and literally have to call out 'hello, does anyone work here?' while people continue to self check out. After a few minutes a cashier comes out of the office and rings me up. I hope that eventually, management will look at the reputation of this store and begin to implement changes. For anyone needing prescriptions I recommend going one major road over to either James or Upper Wentworth, the extra few minutes in the car will be worth it.

Second time this has happen now, only with a different person.. I went into the cosmetics aisle searching for perfume for a potential gift idea. I couldn’t find one that I wanted to buy and so went further down to see other make up gift ideas. In that moment not only was a I followed down that aisle but when I moved over to the next I was followed AGAIN. I was honestly just looking and this girl finally comes up to me and asks if I need help and that when I’m ready she can cash me out. OKAY. I went into the food section because I actually had to buy soup and saw friend of mine. We began talking and he was done his shopping with his friend and so we went to the cash together and were still talking. THIS SAME GIRL came from the cosmetics area towards me, and she was stopped by a customer for help but kept her eyes on me as if I was gonna do anything - take in that I’m still in conversation with my friend. She comes closer and waits by my damn side for a good 2 mins until my friend and I finished part of our conversation and cuts into it saying she’ll take me at the cosmetics cash. Rudely interrupted and found in an awkward situation I went anyways and went through with my purchase with her on the other side. It wasn’t even busy at the cash I was at and there was people still shopping AROUND HER DAMN AREA. Never have I ever felt more judged based off the fact that I’m a young teen taking her time to look at make up. And this was THE SECOND TIME at this location.

All I see are the complaints over your removal of cashiers, them only allowed to take cash, customers being forced to use self checkout. All of your responses are the same that you will pass this information on. Well, obviously the owners do not care. I was in this location last week and used the cashier with my debit card. Although she tried to bring me to the self checkout, I let her know that I will just pay with my debit right where I am, at the cashier! Another cashier came by and told her to go ahead and let me pay by debit. She then informed me that as of November 1st, they will only have one cashier and that will be for returns only. I live right in the middle of 3 Shoppers stores. I’ve lived in this area for more than 15 years and have always used this location, basically out of convenience as I get my meds here and use the post office often. I’m like all the others who have left reviews, I too will be transferring my prescriptions to another location. If the owner cared, they would be listening to these reviews. Clearly they don’t care about what their customers want. So, I guess it’s a good thing that they’re moving to self checkouts then as traffic to this location looks like it’s going to die down. Because I’m sure people leaving reviews that they will not be back is a very small percentage of those who feel the same. One of the other two locations near me, is closer and less traffic to get there. I look forward to my new Shoppers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I worked at this particular location for almost a month before I quit. This Shoppers Drug Mart is the only Shopper's in all of Hamilton mountain, that I've been too that FORCES you to go to self checkout. They are very rude about it. They gave the employees ZERO choice and were adamant on forcing people to the self checkout because they "...don't care if you don't want to. Give them no choice." Said by the managers. They want their quota to be the best in Hamilton for self checkout. That's from their mouths You are hearing this from a former employee on cash and in beauty... which FYI that is a nightmare... they need to get a new manager in that position at that location. I got in trouble for selling perfume. Because I let a customer smell it. Self checkouts are a joke. They take longer. This location has no idea what they are doing. The cashier CAN take Cash, credit, and debit. FORCING PEOPLE INTO SELF CHECKOUT IS NOT RIGHT. FYI they never asked nor cared that I quit. I refused to work somewhere like that. I'm not forcing no one. It was making me stressed out. I LOVE beauty and was so HAPPY I got that position. But not in that environment. No thanks. The fact that I've scrolled and seen over 1 stars more than 50 times, in a matter of 30 seconds is awful. You guys will literally lose every customer you guys have and had... WORST SHOPPERS IN HAMILTON!

  • Kenneth Gibson

I am no longer shopping at this shoppers drug mart even though it is right around the corner from my house. I have absolutely lost my last patience with the way the staff behaves and the way the checkouts are being run. Today I wanted to buy a newspaper and a few other things. When I approached the cash registers, all three of the self serve checkouts were being used. I approach one of the normal checkouts and the staff tells me it's "cash only" and I can't pay there because I want to use a card. "You're telling me I'm literally not allowed to check out here because I don't have cash?” "Cash only" was all they said, so short with me, rude. Whatever. I go and line up by the self checkouts and wait for one to be available. In the meantime another customer approaches the normal check out and the staff tells them "this is cash only but I can show you how to use the self checkout." SO One of the self checkouts - that I have been waiting for! - becomes available and as I'm going up to use it - the staff members CUTS IN FRONT OF ME TO USE THE SELF CHECKOUT WITH THE CUSTOMER THAT HAD COME TO THE REGISTER AFTER ME. Now I gotta stand there while staff puts through someone else's things before me because I wasn't just allowed to use the normal cash. What kind of nonsense is this? No more.

This review is purely for the pharmacy - not the store itself. I have never had a problem with grocery/over the counter medication at this location. I have had my prescriptions filled here for years. But the accuracy of my prescriptions have gotten worse, while the wait time has increased. I can't count on two hands the number of times that my heart medication has been promised to be ready, only to discover upon pickup that they tell me to come back at a later time. (I've learned to call ahead for confirmation before ever venturing out!). I have suffered 2 heart attacks, and take my prescriptions on time. When they are not ready, I feel like the pharmacist does not care. The last prescription refill request (this week); I asked to cut them in half as it's even instructed on the bottle. I also called the pharmacy to remind them as they haven't been cutting the pills lately. Picking them up yesterday, it was no surprise that they were not cut and remained as a whole pill. I have already switched from this pharmacy and will leave my health up to someone who cares. I do not recommend this pharmacy to family or friends. Try another Shoppers pharmacy location, or different pharmacy all together. Your health is important, but not to the pharmacy location here.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOPPERS! I had been a regular customer who went to this shoppers once a while. I went to the post office to send some mail and the post office was empty. I tried ringing the bell and waited for about 10 minutes. I was gonna go ask a shoppers worker if the office was open then this lady came up not greeting me instead saying “it doesn’t take a millisecond to run from the front of the store to the back ok.” I was confused at this point. She completely was giving attitude from the moment she came to me and I gave her the money to send my mail. She then didn’t give the correct change and I asked her to make a correction. She then slammed my change on the counter and said “whatever here”. I decided I had enough and I went to look for a supervisor because I didn’t understand her problem. I reported her to a supervisor and she was called to come up. Instead of an apology, this lady was rude trying to argue furtherer about what had happen. She told me that she thought I was rude from the moment she met me so that’s why she was rude automatically to me. Goes to show what kind of people they’re hiring at this location that are automatically rude to costumers for no reason. I hope no one goes here because there’s better locations.

I used this Pharmacy for over 15 years and sadly I moved my prescriptions to another location. The new owners/staff are incompetent at best. I have received wrong prescriptions, the turn around time is extremely long and communication is nonexistent. I brought in expired medication to be disposed of and they threw it in the garbage under the cash. I asked for it back and got attitude about it. I signed up for AutoPay and they would charge my credit card before they even started filling my prescriptions (it should be charged after I picked them up). When I asked why I was told that’s the way head-office does it I showed them the signup email I received that clearly states my card would not be charged until pickup I called 1-800-SHOPPER and they confirmed charges should not occur until after pickup. Called my credit card company and was informed they were committing credit card fraud and they started and investigation. This location is so poorly run now. It’s sad this use to be my go to store now I fear for my safety. I can’t stress enough how dissatisfied I am. If I could give negative starts I would.

  • Queen Me

This is the worst pharmacy ever!! The staff are all extremely unorganized, they always misplace my prescriptions. They don’t scan my prescriptions into the system like they should, so nobody knows where it is. My doctors office has to constantly resent my prescriptions and it is really frustrating, because I’m having to wait for the office to reopen. Somebody just moves my prescriptions into the back room and it gets left there. I have to constantly be asking for my medications and always be on top of it because they clearly never know what is going on. Even the staff that are there regularly don’t do their job properly. The phone lines are always busy, I often get disconnected, and I’m on hold for a very long time if it even goes through. The communication at this pharmacy is absolutely terrible. The staff don’t seem to care, the pharmacy sends me a text message saying my medication is ready for pick up, I go hours later to pick it up and it’s still not ready.

How shall I not compare thee to a disaster? The store is low in stock, has high prices, and expects you to use self-check out only. Loading up a Presto card? Good luck finding a cashier. Got lied to about vaccine availability. Also got lied to about the large flat rate packs needing tape. Couldn't return the tape since 'Nikita,' since the cashier at Canada Post who sold me the tape and flat rate pack lied to me about it. Most likely she didn't know, but she opened the tape and ripped the package when I didn't ask her. She then acted 'surprised' that the flat rate package was self sealing. I'm glad I found a different location. I also don't enjoy being lied to, talked down to, or treated like a child. I will no longer be using this location for any purposes. Absolutely disappointing location, whether it is the pharmacy, the canada post or the store. Based on other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who has had problems at this location. 0/5 stars!!!

  • Sh Mo

This review has been a long time coming . I'm Trying to figure out how to get Canada Post to stop sending my mail to this Post Office since I don't visit this store anymore as I feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I use to shop at this store every week , get my lottery tickets, fill my prescription because it's literally a few minutes away from where I live. I've never had any issues with the workers at the store in all my years of shopping here but, the indian security guards are truly out of this world and I've never experienced anything like this in my life. They follow you around the store and blatantly watch you at the self checkout. They either lack proper training or they are allowing their personal prejudices to influence how they do their job. I don't have to shop here anymore but I'm concerned about my mail going to an establishment where I'm treated like a common criminal.

  • Kelsey Jenna (Valkairie)

The store itself is nice as far as Shoppers go, though there is always a huge line and one til open, like literally every other Shoppers in the city. The pharmacy however has become terrible in the last few months. Multiple times now I have stood at the pickup side while pharmacy techs duck their heads behind computers. Today two women allowed a line of 4+ people to build up at both pickup and drop-off, then scurried to the back when I asked to be helped next as multiple guests had arrived after me but were helped first in the 10+ minutes I was there. They knew I was there as the woman in the blue hat served a customer before me then ran away with her head down - I hope you know who you are. Thanks for treating me as less than a human being. If you are looking for a new local pharmacy, avoid this one at all costs. I will be finding elsewhere to go as well at my own inconvenience.

  • Kerri Ambridge

The pharmacy is horrible. I was only with them for 4 months and they misplaced prescriptions, lost faxes from my doctors office, and their automated system to renew prescriptions doesn't work properly. I personally walked in and handed them a prescription. Came back the next day to pick it up? They had no record of it. I get mad, and the pharmacist was so rude to me! You lost my prescription! I have a right to be mad! Then I renew my diabetic medication and a couple of others, I have drug coverage, they tell me that they couldn't get confirmation of my coverage and proceeded to tell me I had to pay or I didn't get them. Basically told them to shove it. I go straight to my old pharmacy which is also a shoppers, low and behold, they enter my info....BAM! I have coverage! If you care about your health, do not use this pharmacy. They have no clue what they are doing there.

  • Lianne M

The store has started a new procedure to only allow customers paying by cash, or purchasing lottery, to go to the cashier. Otherwise they are forcing customers to use the self serve checkout. They claim this is for COVID precautions, but I've been in twice and there is no screening being done? So this argument simply doesn't bear out. The staff I have spoken to about this have stated they are being forced to do this, as they will be penalized if they don't. Yesterday I was refused service because I didn't want to use the self serve. I left the items and went to another location that had friendly and polite staff, willing to help and SERVE the customers giving them business. I am very aware this directive is from the owner, purely a labour cost reduction for him, but my concern is also for the employees who are losing their jobs. I will continue to shop elsewhere.

  • Amber Michalski

I have been with this pharmacy for years.. recently I have found so many issues both in store and ordering through the phone .. being on hold for sometimes 30+ mins to only be disconnected and to call back and have the staff get mad at me for continuing to call. I had been waiting for my prescription refill.. they made the mistake of filling only half my medications and would not refill it as they were certain I should still have over a month when in fact I had almost nothing left .. it took me three days for them to realize they made the mistake of filling half the bottle and putting the full label on it. I understand everyone is busy but seeing three staff behind the desk all with their faces buried in the desks as soon as they see a line up.. I'm sure like many other we do not have time to wait 10+ mins while we see the staff ignoring the line up.

  • Tancred

Not a very nice store - or at least staff aren’t trained on certain standards that grocery chains should really be adhering to. The scanning code of practice is something that individuals get to participate in across all major retail stores, yet after my partner visited and got charged extra for cheese (this is trivial but bear with me) I told her about it and told her she should go back - her anxiety kicked in and she wanted me to go to the store instead, I figured the staff would be understanding and just offer the first product as is normal with the practice - right enough they didn’t follow through and she returned with having to pay normal price even though the error was due to store mismanagement. Kinda disappointed considering how small an impact this is to a company vs. how simple it is to “get lucky” doing groceries and make someone’s day.

  • Gagan Sandhu

Absolutely disgusted how the employees of this location lie about a simple process of taking passport photo. We first went to the photo section and ask if someone can take a passport photo and the lady said oh sorry we are not taking any passport photos because of COVID. I brought to her attention that it is absolutely weird because we came from another Shoppers and they were short of staff and we're not able to take the photo. The lady again said yes its shoppers drug mart policy! I could absolutely see how she was lying because there was a huge sign saying get your passport photo taken so once we left we called the store and ask for a manager and the manager said oh oh we're out of ink for printing photos. Shows how dishonest and lazy staff is and lying on top of that . Very sad and shame on the staff of upper Wellington Shoppers drug mart

  • Kim General

This store has gone down hill. Forcing you to use self check out. Or make you go to self check out and if you purchase gift cards well they make you walk to other cash register to purchase cards but you don't pay there you have to walk back to self check out to pay. What's the point of the cashier scanning your products in self check out for you. Why can't she do it at a regular register? Why can't we have a cashier serve us? For some people they need or want that personal service. Asking how they are sometimes lifts a persons spirit up. I'm sick and tired of the employees rolling their eyes if I say I have cash. Guess cash is a taboo eh. I would use self check out if I was getting a discount. Its so ridiculous at this store. The lotto machine has been broke for months another reason not to go there.

  • Jen Pinkerton

I went to this Shoppers Drug Mart last Saturday after walking to limeridge mall. While shopping at shoppers mart I forgot my bag on the counter while paying for my pizza. They had a box pizza on sale that day for 4.99$ after returning home I realized I didn't have my shopping bag from limeridge mall. Inside it was hand soap I picked up for 3.75$ from bath and body works. They had a two day sale on for hand soaps. I returned shoppers drug Mart right away. It was there. They said they were waiting for me to return to retrieve it. It was safe. All went well. I usually go to this Shoppers Drug Mart weekly if not daily. Because I load up my presto card there. And sometimes I purchase groceries. They usually have great weekly sales

  • Emilee

i once went here and purchased a chatr $25 card, i took it home and it wouldn’t work. turns out it was an old card and that i had to enter the pin by text message now. and the cashier tried to tell me that i had to buy a new one but i told her to just tell me what to do and i will and she did so i just ignored that and then i sent my grandfather with 53 dollars to purchase me a 50 dollar visa gift card. but apparently the money i gave him was only enough for a 25 dollar gift card which is fine but the cashier did not give him any change back so not only did i lose my 53 dollars but i did not get any change back for it. do not go to this shoppers anymore or if you haven’t been do not start going.

  • Queen Babe

I felt that the staff was unprofessional prior to closing. I heard one of the staff members say to another staff, "have you ever lied and said that it was 12 am even though it was 10 minutes until 12 am just so we can leave early". I felt rushed because of her comment. Also in that same visit to your store, I asked the lady that works at the cosmetic section, "what time is it"? And I felt that her answer was rude and that her tone of voice wasn't friendly at all. I was shocked with how she handled my simple question. I think that some of your staff at this particular location needs to improve on their patience level, understanding for how costumers feel, and their professionalism.

  • Paige Henderson

Extremely disappointed in the store’s policy that ONLY cash will be accepted at the checkout with a cashier. As someone who is legally blind, I should nit be forced to carry large sums of cash OR be told my purchase - already rung in - would be voided and forced to used self-checkout with the aid of the same person at the cash register. Not only is this ludicrous, it is discriminatory. Two customers in front of me also had issues and decided not to make his purchases and walked out. This is an ableist policy and an accessibility issues, especially given the fact that many of the clientele are elderly or disabled. Shame on you Shopper’s at Mohawk and Upper Wellington.

  • Lew Scagnetti

A terribly unorganized pharmacy ! You ask for a your prescription that was phoned in 5 hours prior and the pharma-tech looks through 4 different drawers, 3 different baskets, 3 different cupboards that are scattered throughout the dispensing area ! It actually took 3 people / 10 minutes to find my prescription buried in the 100 other prescriptions scattered throughout in different locations ...WHAT A MESS & WHAT A SET UP ???!!! Another Occasion, I could not get through on the phone, I had to physically drive to the pharmacy !! I was told they are short staffed regularly and it is what it is !! Wowwy !!! Avoid this Pharmacy !!

  • Michael Coppock

Been there a couple times. They usually only have one cashier working. Now they have a person standing in front of the cashier trying to direct you to self check out. I then told the lady working there that I did not want to do self check out and asked if there was a register open as no one was standing around any of them and there were no lights on indicating them being open. She then told me she could only help me if I had cash. If I didn’t have cash I had to use self check out only. I will not support this kind of work movement and I will not go back to shoppers drug Mart ever again.

  • a ford

Would give 0 stars if possible. Store continues to go down hill since the ownership change. Prescriptions always wrong, staff extremely rude and bully the senior citizens. Always make sure to check expiration dates, constantly finding expired food on selves. Forcing seniors and people with mobility issues to use self check out who clearly struggle with it while lying about the debit terminal "not" working. Has head office given a mandated quota to stores forcing people to use the self checkout? Never using this location again even though i have lived beside it for the past 15 years.

  • D K

As per others, I find this shoppers extremely poor service when picking up prescription, example today took 15 minutes to pick prescription, 3 people in front of me, over 4 people behind the counter, but did anyone help the person serving people no. And to buy other things, the cash only cashier. This is store has gone down hill since the new owner took over. Now lets talk about their person who replies to these reviews from Shopper, aside from replying indicating that you have read, what is shoppers doing about it to rectify all these complaints? As usual nothing!!!

  • Timothy Veenstra

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. If you need to walk to hell itself to go to any other store go. The line is often to the back of the store because the staff is only permitted to help you if you are paying cash. Everyone else must use self checkout. Wife saw a visually impaired person struggling to use one and staff crying behind the checkout because they were not permitted to help her. Not the first story like this from this location and will not be the last. The owners are heartless and do not deserve your business. Go elsewhere.

June 16, 2021 1:17 pm I went in using my cell phone to purchase lottery. I was verbally attacked by their cashiers as she felt I was being rude to her by using my phone. She preceded to say that I was rude and needed to shut up. Their store manger Wendy never called me. I actually got in touch with her and we did have a discussion. I also went to head office. I work in customer service and know it can be challenging but at the end of day it’s never to tell a customer to “shut up”!!!!!

  • Lisa Di Paola

prepare to be treated like crap if you walk in to this shoppers anytime after 1130pm. I get you close at midnight but still should not be swaring at customers and throwing stuff if they walk in close to closing time. Best part is its the managers that treat you like this too. Try working at a restaurant where people come to dine in for a full meal 5 mins to close and you still have to serve them! If you don't like helping people right until midnight maybe you should close at 11!!!!

Worst pharmacy , pharmacist working today at 11:00 am on 11/11/23 refused to dispense paxlovid to an elderly pt because she is not their pt although patients pharmacy was willing to fax medical history and pts original pharmacist had counselled and checked all interactions and notified the pt . They couldn’t dispense because pharmacy couldn’t get paxlovid . Horrible pharmacist said he cannot dispense because she is not our pt I don’t have time for her I am doing flu shots !!!!!!!

I've bought expensive cologne here and men's expensive moisturizer both products had no vacuum packed plastic seals boxes were beat up and kept me feeling like I bought my products from a garage sale I'm very disappointed and angry with thus purchase from Shopper's, I called to tell then I was dissatisfied they said to come back and we'll look at it and see what issue is. Now has I bought from Saphoria I would be treated like a neighborhood criminal.

  • Justin Sharp

The pharmacy here is horrible. The guest service to having medication done in time is so bad. Put in my script week before medication is needed and still was not ready and when i said needed it today had a fit and tossed my medacation on the floor. Will be moving to another location this plasce is horrible. Will not be doing shopping here anymore either. I rather spend my money somewhere where i can be treated as a person. What is happening shoppers.

  • Owner 2174

This store is so low in stock. Staff doesn’t seem the customer comes first New employees not sire who can do refunds. Pharmacy department is so slow. Back workers never step in to help only when I ask themI. Two staff. Members continue talking when I’m been served. I turned to them and said “I’m a customer “”. They finally got on with their work. Finally had enough and moved my prescription to another story.

  • Kim Kiley

Went in because I saw a sign out-front saying walk-ins welcome for Flu Shot. I sat in my car went online and filled out the forms for myself and my two children to have our shots done. Went in and was told that they aren't excepting walk-ins and they never have. What Why does the sign outside say so and why does the website say so aswell?? Rude lady at the pharmacy desk, we won't be back! Waste of time!

  • George Gallo

Prescription service has completely gone down hill told to wait two days for re fill than on hold twice for 15 minutes and now in person they acting like yah that happens we are busy. I mentioned it was never like this before. Now I read the reviews saying new ownership. I’m asking for my prescription and taking my business to limeridge mall shoppers. Also this place pushes the self check out way to much.

  • Brandon

Usually I'm just put off by the fact that whenever I walk into this place I'm stared at like I'm a thief. Today, however, I was quite disappointed to see that there was a worker not wearing a mask at all, and the ones that did have it on were around their chin or only covering their mouths. If I'm required to wear one to enter the store, don't you think your employees should be wearing them properly?

  • Amerie Ash

One of the worst locations ever. I only go when I'm in need as it is close to home. The cashier scanned one of my items twice. I later when back to confront her and was told that I couldn't prove that I bought an extra? Ridiculous. I asked for the manager, but the cashier said they were on vacation. Their post office sometimes closes earlier than the hours that are posted as well. Just great...

  • Tina Jordan

Really nice staff, especially at the post office (they're always really friendly and helpful) can't say I care for the older male pharmacist (I'm sorry I can't remember his name), he's very rude to the other staff behind the counter with him and occasionally snappy with customers. It's very obvious that he dislikes females. The other staff at the pharmacy is very nice and helpful

  • Jonny Amerold

I had such a fantastic experience with Rebecca at the cosmetics counter. She was incredibly helpful in assisting me to find exactly what I needed, and her product recommendations were spot on. I'm thrilled with the results and couldn't be happier with the service she provided. The lady that works in post office was also very kind and quick with getting me the stamps I needed.

  • Simon Barkhoo

I was at Perfume section and I ask for my way perfume It was gift I ask her is this for women she said I don't know and I said can I see it just to search on Google for the code to see if you don't know she hold the box and the security was there she said pay for it to check it just to give me to search and if not for the women I will give you refund and buy something else

  • Samantha Maillet

After reading some reviews, I feel relieved that I am not the only one having issues with the pharmacy. Also the apology reply that I am bound to get will not help with the fact that I ordered my Rx over 8 hours ago for delivery and have now been told. " You must not have been home". I will be shopping elsewhere and getting my prescriptions somewhere else.

  • Darrell Rolfe

Never get a prescription here if you want it . I've been told every week for almost the past month now that my ensures will be there the next week. My doctor put me on a special diet because I'm losing weight but these guys can't seem to help. You guys gotta stop being so rude with the people that you're supposed to be trying to help. …

  • Michele Saamanen

I have been with this pharmacy for 30 years and have never been treated as I was early today, not only was I treated poorly and no apology given or help but the pharmacist engaged in a conversation about me with a shopper in the store , while I'm in tears of frustration. I will be going to another location. That values their customers

  • J A

Iv been a customer at this location for the last 20 years. I'm here at least 3 times a week. Today I had to deal with the most disgusting disrespectful person working at post office. The lady I normally helps me wasn't there today and i had to deal with the east indian lady today. She was awful to every person waiting in line.

  • Witty Smitty News

15 people in line. 2 people working cash, but they can't help anyone because their registers only take cash. Easily the dumbest run Shoppers ever. It also doesn't help that at least 50% of customers couldn't use a scanner if their life depended on it. Something that's supposed to be "faster" has made everything take longer.

  • T M

I've been going to this location for over 20 years never had any problem what so ever but today at the post office I had the worst costumer service ever the girl was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude she was so bad that I consider calling canada post to complain. If you don't like your job don't do it

  • Briana Taylor

They accused me of stealing although I didn't. 3 of the employees followed me to the parking lot harassing me. They were laughing at me through the window and flipping me off. I asked them repeatedly if they wanted to search me or my bag. They just kept telling me that I hid them somewhere. Disgusting

  • Raven Cook

I went there last week, now granted I was tired because my 11 month old was sick, but while I was buying diapers and infant Tylenol the clerk behind the counter asked me if I was over 55! I'm 38! I literally left there in tears. The girl kinda chuckled and said "We have a promotion so I had to ask".

  • Jade B

Went in this afternoon for a couple things and the line up for the self checkouts (only 2 working) had at least 8 people waiting. A young lady employee standing at self checkout, 2 male employees chatting away but none of them could open a till to help the line move? Absolutely ridiculous.

  • People Do

Worst Pharmacy ever. Don't go here for a flu shot. Shoppers will not accommodate you. Unless you want to wait forever. Why bother when you can just walk into the nearest "Competition" and walk out in 10 mins. I walked out and never looked back. A REAL pharmacy would not have a wait list.

  • Tammy McNally

Very disappointing to arrive to shop with no cashier in site, when I asked security if a cashier to be called, I was directed to the automatic checkout. This makes for a very impersonal experience, might as well shop online at instead. We are losing valuable customer service.

  • Britt Britt

Here's a suggestion. Don't put your rudest employee in cosmetics at the front of the store where they should be greeting customers. We can do without the cut eye and disrespect. Seriously, start screening your employees if they're even suitable for customer service.

  • Christen Sparks

They filled the wrong prescription and gave me a medication my Dr took me off of in october, refused to give me a refund and were going to charge me to fill the correct medication. Pulling all my prescriptions and will no longer be going at all. This is not ok

  • Cheryl

I miss the previous Owner, Wassim. The PHARMACY has not been the same since owners changed. They completely disregarded a prescription that my doctor's office called in. I had to call my doctor's office to get them to refax it since the pharmacy "misplaced it"

  • Marion Blagdon

This is a really good store for a wide selection of mid-priced beauty products. The store is large enough that it sells a variety of things but makeup is what I'm primarily shop there for. Staff are helpful and the store is clean with great parking.

  • Ala aldifaii

this location in particular has some of the kindest employees I’ve ever met. There has not been one time I’ve walked in and not found them smiling and laughing. The store is really organised and again, the customer services skills here are amazing!

  • Nami Thy

I came to shopper to buy the night cream, and i use my coins to pay, but the staff ( the blone hair lady) did not wanna take the coins. She said she need to take time to count it. They refused me to purchase it. Very bad service, never come back.

  • Brandon Cole

Don't use this pharmacy! Should have paid $69 dollars for my prescription but instead they dispensed me the lowest mg tablet and therefore charged me $135 dollars because it's "easier to dispense the same pill" absolutely brutal. I wonder

  • Dave

Pharmacy has something wrong with faxing and receiving faxes of prescriptions from multiple doctors office. This location is known by doctors to never receive faxes. Use different location. You won’t get your medication if you need it

  • Emerson M

Great location. Been coming here for years with zero issues. People leaving negative reviews for being made to use the self checkout need to book themselves into the retirement home. It's really not complicated.

  • Siobhan Soyka

I'm all for businesses offering self-checkout as an option, but this location tries to force you to use it, only allowing cash purchases through the regular checkout. I refuse to shop here because of this.

  • long mai

Bad service. My friend was there for the night cream, tried to purchase it with coin 60$. But she refused to let my friend purchase. That is awful. Why cant her purchase with her own money.

  • Taliah LeBlanc

Lady in cosmetics couldn't understand what I was looking for - Said they don't carry products by Britney Spears.. But they had some on sale for $20 and in gift boxes.. I'm confused?

  • Russ Russ

Terrible service everytime. I moved my prescriptions to another location which is inconvenient to me so I wouldn’t have to deal with them. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else

  • Jenn Stooke

Terrible customer service. Was told if I’m not paying cash, I have to use the self check out. While having an issue with the self check out, there was no one to help. Won’t be back.

  • Dong Dam

This can't be a coincidence because my drink was double scanned. I already left long ago so it wasn't worth it to go back. Good to know that you guys are stealing from customers.

  • Roger Rowsell

My thanks to all the staff in the meds department, Omar has been a great friend and super help when I move from the east mountian to down town Aberdeen. Again my warmest thanks.

  • Justine Semenzow

Best shoppers to get your picture done for passports, they actually show you the picture before they print it! Wasted $17 at the one on upper Sherman and stonechurch.

  • Hjmmm

I’ve always liked this shopper store but today the cashier lady who was working there wasn’t being kind she threw my Apple Card because I told her am paying separate.

  • aileen johnson

Had makeup applied by Penny with my Sister for my nephews Wedding, not only was she really friendly she was great at applying Makeup, would recommend Penny 100%.

  • ThingsIDo

Go to any other pharmacy for a prescription refill. Constantly partial filled prescriptions. Constantly losing or "not receiving" scripts from the doctor.

  • Linda C

I don’t like the fact that only answering machines pick the phone.it is very upsetting when all I wanted was to ask a question about my lost keys.Really!

  • grey g

prices are jacked and workers refuse to answer the phone... when they do its to hang up immediately to stop the ringing and or to end the call asap

  • Laurie Hebblethwaite

Just wondering if some of your pharmacists are also ordained ministers? The way they arrogantly preach and talk down to people at times.

  • Wayne Dulberg

Always a great experience. Mr Patel and his team should be commended for their customer service as well as being very friendly

  • Randy Boyd

I have a disability as I went 2 check out the cashier said I was 2 slow 2 be in the store. I haven't been in the store since.

  • R T

This has been my pharmacy for years now. They are usually pretty good and lineups aren’t too bad either.

  • Tyler Silverwood

Decent customer service and an alright selection, but pretty horrible prices (as per most Shoppers)

  • Sidi ODS

Great service and very nice employees in the pharmacy and at the cashier. They have good price too.

  • Jessica Kaur

We arrived at 11:55pm and one of the employee started locking in front of us and said it’s closed.

  • Owais Safri

Disappointed by customer service of this location... very rude behavior of pharmacy staff...

  • Anne Evanoff

Awesome, helpful and friendly staff! Clean store. I highly advise others to go here!

  • Robert Moses

My experience was great it all ways is no matter what shoppers I seem to go too.

  • Tom

Clean and friendly, with the convince of having a postal office on site as well

  • Nichole Davidson

Amazing staff in the pharmacy, always been fast, informative and good natured.

  • Omar

Great staff and customer service, always restocked and has a great selection.

  • Peter

This place is shady with optimum rewards points!!! Stay away please

  • Life Attic

Small but good selection. Cashiers very friendly. Place is clean.

  • Nancy Pitt

Never had any problems and I go there a couple times a week .

  • Kathy F

I generally just come in to load my Presto on my way to work.

  • Donna Patterson

Great customer service! Cashiers and Pharmacy staff amazing.

  • Rachel Losa

Poor customer service and very rude staff in their pharmacy.

  • Melissa

Friendly staff, usually not much of a line up.

  • Jim McLaughlin

There's no other drug store like shoppers

  • James Maranguis

staff is really nice, especially sarah!

  • Maya Roque
