I went to Smallcakes on Wednesday to order custom cupcakes that they were showing on their website for a party I was throwing on Tuesday. I asked the employee if I was able to order them and she said " No, they are our special. " I am not sure why I couldn't order custom cupcakes that they were advertising on their website, its very misleading. I asked if there was anything similar to the ones I couldn't get and there was, but I had to order them on Thursday because that is when they are making them.. So do they make my cupcakes on Thursday and hold them till Tuesday? I hope not.. Their cupcakes are pretty good, but their customer service is lacking. In the end I didn't order cupcakes for my party.

They absolutely should not be advertising vegan. On the website it clearly states that vegan options are AVAILABLE. I stopped in to pick up a vegan cupcake and found that they need to be ordered 2 days in advance with a minimum quantity of 6. I also wanted to get some non vegan cupcakes. They had maybe 8 or so total in the store. The decor was definitely lacking, not a fun place to be. I guess I will be sticking with Whole Foods and Sprinkles for vegan cupcakes that are ALWAYS readily available in single quantities. DON’t advertise that you are a vegan bakery if you only have one option that needs to be pre-ordered in multiples of 6!

This cake store is pretty awesome. When a problem came up, they handled it in a very satisfying manner. The staff is polite and the food is amazing. So far I've tried 5 items from their store and every one has been phenomenal. The cupcakes are perfect, moist and fluffy, and the frosting recipe reminds me of when my mother and I would bake. The cake was out of this world as you can see for yourself, but the flavor is something you'll have to try to believe.

For me it was 2.5 stars. The cake was beautiful. Exactly what I asked for. But eating it was a different story. Cake layers were too thick, over baked and dry. Lemon curd tasted very fake. Frosting was thin but tasted good. If your priority is looks over taste then definitely order here. If not my recommendation is to go somewhere else. For me it was very disappointing.

Where do I start! Their cupcakes are sooooooooooo fresh and delicious! They don't look real because they do an amazing job on the decorations. I love all of their flavors but if I had to choose one, I would say the Boston Cream filled. Just thinking of the fudge topping makes my mouth water! They also make homemade ice cream. The vanilla tasted real homemade too. I highly recommend Smallcakes!

I don’t really Ever write reviews but the experience was one of the worst! I ordered online and the order unfortunately it was wrong. I called in to get it corrected the the employee told me to Repay for a new order ! She wouldn’t help us at all . We asked to speak with a manger and she said “one will can call you in a few days” that’s it ! I would stay away from bad service like this !!!!!!

I waited until the last moment to get a mermaid themed birthday cake for my four-year-old niece’s Birthday party. I called small cakes after being turned down by several bakeries, and they made it happen. Not only was the cake delicious, it came out beautiful, exactly how we wanted. Everybody adored it, mentioning what a great Aunt I am I am so grateful for Smallcakes. They are amazing.

I tried Small cakes for the first time on Friday for my childs school fundraiser, first any company that helps and supports our community in this way always gets a vote! But from calling in the order, to helping out and getting everything together, to how AMAZING the cup cakes were. I will be a frequent guest going forward for any bakery type item I need going forward.

Ordered 6 different cupcakes thru doordash from their signature section. All of them but one were fresh. Taste was good for the ones that were fresh. Presentation and packaging was nice too. Brownie that we got was stale for sure. It was rock solid. One not so fresh cupcake made my experience not so great. Overall neutral experience.

So the cake and cupcakes were delicious. However, the cake was warm when we picked it up for the baby shower and had fallen apart by the time we drove the 10 minutes to get home. Super expensive cake, that tasted delicious but had fallen apart, it was also only a one layer cake. Very sad.

The cupcakes were good, just like I’ve had at other locations. However, walking into the store was like walking into someone’s private home. The atmosphere was severely lacking and combined with the subpar service, I was happy to be out of there. Will not be returning to this location.

Great ice cream and gluten free options on the cupcakes which are also pretty and tasty. However when planning a trip here with kids or a female be aware they have NO BATHROOM to use

Short notice on a sheet cake and they helped me come up with the design and didn't make me feel rushed and got the cake done in time even while working through some little kinks in the design they did an amazing job would be very happy to use them again!

OMG! They look fantastic and taste amazing! So good! I ordered a custom dozen for our 13 year olds birthday. We got pink vanilla and oreo cookies and cream. They were so delicious and so beautifully decorated. Big cupcakes too! I highly recommend.

Despite hours on website saying they would be open, drove 40 minutes to find a lit “OPEN” sign, sticky notes covering the hours, nasty storefront windows, and the doors locked tight. Sad, because the trip was JUST to give this place our business.

Would absolutely reccomend! Amazing service and quality came. Called two days before asking if they could make a custom birthday cake- emailed them the photos off pinterest and they replicated the cake exactly as shown and were super kind.

I have purchased custom birthday cupcakes from small cakes multiple times and my family/friends are obsessed. The bakers can pretty much do any designs you request and the flavor options are great. We especially love the red velvet.

I had sweet cakes to my daughter's baby shower two and a half dozen of pink lemon drop cupcakes they were amazing out-of-this-world delicious. Everybody needs to go check this place out I go there a lot delicious everybody raved.

They made beautiful and yummy cakes for my children’s birthdays. All I had to do was give them some ideas and they took it from there. We got so many compliments on their cakes. Will be using them again in the future.

Went today with son and grandson today, 11/5/21. At 11am. No soy, coconut, or almond milk. Steamer not working for cappuccino. Go to store and buy that milk!! Ridiculous! Too pricey by the way. Would never return.
