I have honestly never posted a review about a store in my life, but felt compelled to do so after my experience at this location yesterday evening. The mall is open until 9:00pm, and I went into this store just after 8:00pm. The woman working was very unhelpful and acted like I was bothering her by being in the store and asking her to get shoe sizes for me try on. When I asked her if there were other sizes she would just abruptly say, “no”. I asked about other stores having the sizes I needed and she just told me I could shop online. As I was trying on shoes, the young man working with her literally swept around my feet as if I was not even there. It was like they were ready to close up and I was in the way! I worked retail in my younger days as a student and I understand wanting to go home when it’s time to close, but as I said, this was about an hour before the store was supposed to be closing. This was by far the least pleasant shopping experience I have had at SoftMoc.

Hands down the worst customer service ! Had the male employee lie to his supervisor in front of me ! After told that they sent the payment to the company with who I bought online , I told the employee that I’ll just take my boots back since there is no cash refunds . What was the assistance managers reply “we can’t do that you will have to go online and buy them again !! Are you kidding me ??? Well I left with no product , no money back and no gift. Certificate ! I know I will never return back as a customer . I will shop elsewhere snd encourage others to do the same . I’ll share the dreadful customer service I think I’ve ever had! I’ll shop at Journeys never ever have I had any experiences there !

Last christmas week we tried to return an item as a christmas gift but sadly it doesnt fit for my kid. This one person introduce herself to be one of the managers and told us that the shoe has been USED. Even after explaining everything to that manager that it was not, I tried to be as calm as much as possible because we just want to returning it and get a different size. Her attitude is so unprofessional and her decision is final that she thinks that the shoe is already worn because of the light scratches. The good thing is that we went to other Good branch (Polo Park) with better managers and we return the item smoothly and bought a different model.

I had to select one star in order to get in here. Thats far too high of a rating. Saturday, April 2, 2022, I was in the store with about 10 other customers. There were 5 to 7 people working in the store all of them were behind the POS area. Nobody came and helped us. They saw us, they looked at us, and I think they were drawing straws to see who had to come out from hiding behind the wall and help people. It was absolutely horrible. I went to a shop down the hall where there were two employees and spent $350 on shoes. I will never come into this store again.

I asked my boyfriend to stop there and look for jibbitz for my crocs and he said they pulled out a whole shoebox full of them and that there were so many to choose from that I should just go and pick some myself. So I went shortly after him, I had to wait a while to be helped but I asked the girl working and she hesitated and then said “umm… we’re sold out. but other locations have them.” not knowing that my boyfriend was just shown a whole box full of them there. Im not sure if she just didn’t feel like getting them for me but lying was not a good look.

Couldn't be bothered to ask if I need sizes, had to approach a lady who seemed very reluctant to even get me sizes. Argued with me that they don't carry size 6.5 or 7 womens boots in the style I wanted, then suddenly pulled them out from the back when she realized I was actually was buying boots, which ended up being the other style. Will not be back. Go anywhere else. Edit: same woman as the other reviews say. Orange haired woman, absolutely rude and disrespectful for no reason.

Husband went there for 3 different purchases within a month. Staff he had either wasn't friendly; was doing the bare minimum wasn't helpful. They didn't even call to tell me the shoes arrived, I had to follow up just over a week. The 3rd visit/purchase, staff indicated they didn't have the particular sandal was looking for that I saw on website recently and didnt offer my husband that they could order it in for us to the store for pick up at another time. Poor customer service!

How is it possible that nothing is done about the customer service complaints. I was there 3 days ago. Girl behind the till stapling receipts and doesnt say a word. Then she finally asks if she can help me in a bored manner. After I pay her I say thank you and she looks the other way whilst handing me my bag without a word. So rude. Never shopping there again. Who employs such people to deal with customers? I'm going to return the shoes. I want nothing to do with that store

I feel bad for the staff, they need more corporate support. What should have been a simple 1 hour online in store pick up, turned into a 24 hour situation where I had to contact Soft Moc to receive communication that my order was ready. I don’t blame the staff for this, rather the system, and the lack of operational support for those working in store. It took a while to be served in store but the staff were apologetic and polite once I was helped.

Cashier was finished with her customer so we waited for her to approach us to see if we needed help. She started sorting receipts and did not give any indication that there were any other customers in the store (we weren’t the only ones). We went to the counter to ask for help and she eye rolled us... I’m sorry but aren’t you in a customer service position.. Wow just blown away. Won’t be back.

This location has a great selection of footwear, however the customer service was terrible. I was completely alone in the store for several minutes waiting for assistance. All 3 staff could be seen standing in the back room talking throughout my visit If any other store had the shoes that I was purchasing, I would have gone elsewhere.

They have a really good selection of many different brands. I tried to exchange a pair of shoes and they said I had worn them. I had not worn them and only purchased them the day before. They did not provide good customer service especially after paying over $200 for a pair of shoes. I prefer the Polo Park location.

Honestly I never been in this place before. I was looking for a good boots for the winter and I ended up getting mine from here. Hamide, Alisa and Gzim were helping me to find the best boots for me. They have the best customer service and they were very friendly. Thank you guys

Worst customer service!! I went in on 3 separate occasions and every time I was ignored. It wasn't busy, they just rather hide in the back or behind the desk and act oblivious to customers walking in and out. I ended up just ordering my shoes online from a different store.

Went to return a Christmas gift that I had bough in November for a family member. Being told I can't because I didn't get a gift receipt yet I have the original receipt and copy on my bank. Terrible customer service. They never offered me a gift receipt. Useless manager

2 people working inside, one cashier and 2nd one checking sizes availability for clients, for whatever reason 2nd one stopped and opened a second check-out, there wasn't a lot of people waiting so !!! Doesn't make any sense, congrats for losing a client …

The product are decent but the customer service is abominable. I would advise against shopping for gifts here unless you are absolutely positive the recipient will like them. The young lady was very rude to my mother who just wanted a different size.

St.Vital mall’s Softmoc’s employees suck! I went here with my friend today and this lady in a big size with orange colored hair was very rude. We were just asking for sizes, that was it. I won’t recommend others going here.
