I 100% agree with dekoluk poredae review. As a consignor, this store deals with payouts and communication extremely poorly. They never email you notifying a sale and you must always chase up payouts. From my personal experience, one payout of mine took many phone calls and emails to finally get sorted because the item was marked as sold in the email, however I did not get payed out. Again as dekoluk poredae said in his review, they find every excuse they can to why you haven’t been payed out no matter how many times you call/email them. My second poor experience which finally sealed my decision to never consign with Solemate again was when I asked to withdraw the remaining 4 shoes I had with them. When I went in-store to pick them up, they only had 3/4 and one of the shoe boxes I received out of the 3 had a pretty big rip on one of the corners that was not there when I consigned them a couple months prior. Besides this, the final shoe I was chasing proved to be it’s own challenge. From being told it was sold/pending investigation (aka excuses they gave to why they were not giving it back/paying me out). They said I would be updated the following Thursday only to receive no response. On Friday I called them to be told again it was pending investigation and is still being looked into. Finally today Monday 30th of December 2019, I called them twice and sent an email stating I would be going in-store to either pickup my shoe or get payed out, I finally received payment for the shoe on my way to the city. All in all, I would not recommend consigning at Solemate due to their unprofessional behaviour and lack of initiative to solve payout issues. 1/5 Stars It is sad since I was recommended this store by a mate of mine only to be met with poor customer service and an endless stream of excuses. Cannot recommend to anyone else unfortunately

Cancelled my eBay order without any consent and reason for the cancellation was “buyer requested cancellation” when I never requested any cancellation nor even contacted you in the first place. I've simply been waiting for my shoes to be shipped and then i get this!? It's not even possible to contact you via eBay because you've turned off messaging.So how the hell was i "buyer requested cancellation" meant to even request a cancellation!? See attached photos! This behaviour clearly shows they don't even care about their customers! Bet they wont even bother to do anything about it !! Reply Edit: "Unfortunately we were unable to fulfil your order and will have to cancel and refund in full as instructed by eBay." Despite eBay telling you to cancel your orders, it does not excuse you for your poor customer service and cancelling your orders as 'buyer requested cancellation' there are a few other options to use instead. Plus eBay does not encourage that type of practice, have attached a screenshot from an eBay rep. Thanks but I rather not participate in any future deals with you, using time to try get some sneakers and not have the certainty that I'll even get them, in the end it'll just be time wasted. Other stores have been able to properly execute these eBay promotions, and manage customer service to standard.

I walked in today with my business partner and spent an hour finding 6 pairs of shoes that we were going to buy. The sales guy agreed on a price of $5700 for everything. He then calls his boss to see if he can do it for $5,500. He then comes back and said I can’t honour my word my boss told me $6k. Then we agree to pay $6k then he goes it needs to be cash for that price so we walked out. Don’t go back on your word 3 times and waste people’s time. Worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Stay away from these time wasters and scammers. Update reply. Your staff offered us the shoes for $5,700. We asked if he can speak to the boss to do the deal at $5,500. He rang the boss and his boss told him it needs to be $6,000. We then agreed to pay the $6,000. Then as we were about to pay he said my boss wants cash and at that point we were fed up and walked out. Own up to your stuff up, learn from it and hopefully you won’t fumble the bag next time someone like me walks in.

After being overlooked for 10 minutes while waiting to ask a question regarding stock, while they instantly attended to the 2 people that entered the shop after me (from my perspective I guess I wasn't Asian enough whereas the next 2 immediately attended to customers were). I finally interrupted the store attendant and asked if they have anything in size 14. I was told I could scan each individual shoe to check sizes, or check their website, and the website only goes to size 13. My experience in shoe shops, they know if they have size 14s, I'm in there wearing a new pair of expensive Jordan's so I'm clearly a buyer but got zero assistance so left empty handed. They have good stock, no idea about prices I couldn't get that far, but they seemingly cater to one group between size 7-11, and I wasn't it.

It seems like this is a good store to buy goods, but sadly not for the people who consign. Every time I consign an item, getting my pay out is like extracting blood out of a stone – near impossible. Not only do they fail to notify you when your item has sold, they they avoid answering you when asked, and give you every excuse under the sun as to why they haven’t paid you yet. If I wasn’t checking the website regularly and following up with them, I’d have no idea whether anything has sold or not. They charge 20% of the total sale amount for their service, but can’t even notify you of the date your item sold! This is no way to run a business – especially when they rely on people such as myself to provide stock for their store.

Bought a pair of Kobes off them years ago and after closer inspection they've already been worn, the heel of the shoe was also slightly damaged. I wasn't bothered to return the shoes as i loved that colour way however would not recommend this place. Edit as a response to the owner: As i stated in my review, I didn’t contact you guys for a refund or assistance because I was after the Christmas Kobe 9s for ages. Therefore although it was damaged I kept it regardless, it’s not an “excuse” as u say. I can guarantee you that pair was worn and it doesn’t benefit me in any way defaming your business I’m merely speaking the truth.

OMG! If you are into the latest Nike trainers than this is Nike Mecca of inner city Sydney. What a fabulous boutique store. These are not trainers to go exercising in, these are fashionable, latest and funky shoes. There was a wide variety of shoes, (especially for women) with the latest styles. The prices are the retail price however some of their sale stuff is heavily reduced and you could pick up a great bargain, as i feel the turn over of shoes is high. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, often with some awesome music playing. I just want to know when can I move in?

We ordered shoes online. Payment made everything was confirmed We received an email saying that they shipped shoes and were waiting delivery. We received another email 3 days later saying they had no stock ? After receiving emails that shipment was already made. Very annoying and waste of time waiting for shoes & paying that they didn’t even have in stock! Now I have to wait even longer for refund to be completed. Definitely not a happy or returning customer.

Have purchased many sneakers from Solemate and they have always provided the best customer service in being attentive and always looking out for my best interests. I have been a loyal customer for many years as Solemate has always been my go to store when it comes to looking for the latest drops and also limited edition items. Highly recommend if youre into the sneaker scene or even just looking for something different, trendy and cool to wear!

Do not recommend anyone consign/buy any shoes there, the staff have limited knowledge and they are exceptionally egotistical. The experience I had was exceptionally embarrassing through the exceptionally poor knowledge of shoes and they lie to cover up their mistakes. I will encourage everyone to go the Secret Sneaker Store who are excessively more knowledgeable and are not so ego driven. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this store.

Don’t ever sell your sneakers here for consignment, I put my Jordan 3s on a consignment. The shoes got sold and still have not received my payment after 3 months and I know the details were correct and everything. I’ve pretty much been scammed, I called them and told them my issue and they just responded with “you just have to wait”. I would rate zero if it was an option.

Absolutely loved my time here. I’m visiting from the States and have been planning on going to this place for a few weeks now. It did not disappoint. Spent a good hour or so talking to the guys there. They were super friendly and helpful and I had a awesome time talking all things sneakers with them. Great selection and decent prices as well. Like given how much online retail has been dominating traditional retail its very important the in-store service is always impeccable, i was encountered with the most disinterested service people when I had money in my pocket to spend. Great sneaker collection for all you hypebeasts and hypebaes. Prices are pretty standard for consignment stuff but the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and nice. They also have a small collection of Tshirts and caps too, along with accessories to clean your shoes with such as Crep and Jason Markk.

Always fresh gear in stock. Put 2 pairs of jordans up on consignment, first pair sold in under 2 days. Could have possibly got more for the shoes, should have done my homework...They have paid up within a week after sale tho, so thats full marks from me. Thanks for making the deal so easy!

Don’t be fooled all there Sneakers are fake I highly recommend not purchasing anything from here as u won’t be able to return it. You can only exchange unfortunately. And it’s a Rip off go to Culture kings or foot locker if you want the real deal and it’s much more affordable too.

Although a little bit expensive for the shoes that I got they made it worth it with great people and customer service! They have a great selection and competitive prices for their products. I highly recommend and I will be visiting them again next time I am in Sydney.

Rude staff. I was looking to buy retro 4's but then the staff told me off twice about the food on my hand (I wasnt even eating before they first told me off) coz apparently it might leave marks on the shoes when everything's on damn cling wrap anyways.

I bought a pair of yeezy israfil from solemate a few months ago. I recently try to resell it to another buyer and found out that the pair is fake, not legit. Horrible experience to find out this way. I paid $600 for the pair.

Absolutely friendly staff that go out of their way to get whatever items you need. Prices are very fair, even the exclusive stuff like actual LEGIT Yeezys considering you get to see them, try em, and not wait for shipping.
