I had my teeth cleaned a couple weeks ago. From the moment I was greeted at the door to when I left I felt taken care of. Rachelle is who you see when you walk in and she is always charismatic and makes the effort to remember things about clients. (For example, we have discussed university in the past and she asked me if I had graduated and how my graduation went when I arrived). She runs the front administration area and is a dental assistant which makes her incredibly knowledgeable. She is a key person to call and talk to to even consider if being looked at is necessary. [ This is not a place where I feel that they book for every and all work, they are more interested in doing what needs to be done in keeping your teeth healthy than breaking your bank ] Amy cleaned my teeth and discussed problem areas in my mouth that I could focus on when brushing. She also took the time to listen to my concerns about spacing in between my teeth which was causing pain when flossing. My favourite thing that Amy does - is that she doesn't make me feel like a child when I admit that I don't floss as often as I should. She reiterates that it is important and that is it. Dr. Wallace came in after the cleaning to look at my teeth and book follow up work. He also took the time to listen to my concerns and did not let me leave until I felt that 100% of my concerns were discussed. Essentially he didn't brush me off with "oh its fine" he took the time to explain and show me with a mirror what was going on. Long story short, when people tell me they don't like their dentist and/or don't like going to the dentist, I do not hesitate to recommend this office. Don't get me wrong, I don't like getting work done on my teeth, but each experience I have here makes it not so bad in the end.

I neglected going to the dentist in over three years, partly due to the pandemic and partly because I lost insurance coverage during that time. Because of the long gap in my dental care, was a bit nervous going into my first appointment at South Ancaster Family Dental. Thankfully, the process for booking the appointment was swiftly handled by the kind receptionist, Rachelle. She took my insurance details set up direct billing through a simple intake form. This set-up is far more convenient than having to pay after every appointment and apply for reimbursement from my insurance company. I used to find the payment process more hassle than it was worth. Now, I feel like I can set up appointments worrying about the payment! The intake appointment was very thorough. First, I received a meticulous cleaning. Then, Dr. Dam performed x-rays and a thorough dental exam. I received helpful advice regarding flossing and brushing which I had never heard from other dentists. She had a non-judgemental attitude toward oral health that encouraged me to improve my habits after our interaction. I have never been so consistent with flossing after my first appointment here! I look forward to future dentist appointments at South Ancaster Family Dental. I thank Dr. Dam, Rachelle, and the rest of the team for creating a positive, comfortable environment!

I came to S.A.F.D. on the recommendation by a friend who understands my past history with not-so-great dental experiences. Over time all nerves and feelings of anxieties have gone away after getting to know Dr. Wallace and his team at South Ancaster Family Dental. On every visit, I am greeted by Rachelle's positive and relaxed attitude. The hygienists that I have met include both Cindy and Amy, who make me feel at ease.They take the time to explain every step of their procedure and provide opportunities to ask questions about your quality of care. Dr. Wallace is very gentle while using his instruments during the assessment portion. His speech is easy to understand. I trust his professional opinion and quality of work. When I leave the office, I feel assured about my dental care. In the likelihood that I experience discomfort or pain, I know that the office is available to me to call for a follow-up to treat my immediate concerns. I never thought, I would find a dental office that was compatible enough that I actually look forward to visiting on a routine basis. I give credit to South Ancaster Family Dental for changing my mind about quality oral care. I recommend their office to anyone who is considering switching!

A1 dental experience! When you speak with Dr. Wallace, you feel like you're really being listened to and heard. He is very patient and explains everything thoroughly and in an understandable way. I feel secure in my belief that Dr. Wallace is a competent dentist who pays careful attention to detail. The office itself is one of the nicest - if not *the* nicest - dental offices I've seen (there's a relaxing vibe and it is not intimidating). Sujana, my Hygienist, is very friendly and she accomplished what might have been my most pleasant dental cleaning experience (that's saying something!). Rachelle, the face of South Ancaster Family Dental, is genuinely kind and friendly and it is always a pleasure interacting with her. At this dental practice, I feel right at home. Thank you, team!

From the minute I walk into this office I am greeted with kindness and professionalism. Rachelle is always so sweet and makes sure that I have everything I need when I come in and again before I leave. Dr. Wallace is very knowledgeable, patient, and does excellent dental work. Amy always talks me through the appointment, letting me know each step that she is performing and always makes sure I am comfortable which is calming for someone who may have anxieties about going to the dentist. This is the best dental team I have ever had and I am very appreciative of the way they accommodate their patients.

Absolutely amazing dental clinic. This dentist went above and beyond to meet my needs! The staff are lovely and made me very comfortable. Beautiful building, and awesome location. I’ve had a tooth that has been bothering me for a while. As soon as the dentist saw my teeth, he spotted the issue and fixed it the same day. I feel so much relief, my teeth feel better than ever. A very beautiful and clean dental office. A newer practice in the Ancaster area but they have a great small and close knit team. Staff are incredibly friendly and professional! They always take their time with you and you can tell they are very focused on the health aspect of dental care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist, especially for those looking for a practice that is focused on taking care of your whole family.

I get nervous when going to visit the dentist but the staff here are the friendliest and made it a calming experience. They explain step by step what they are doing and check in often to see how you are feeling. They take their time and are very thorough with the cleaning. I will continue to go here. South Ancaster Family Dental is a clean warm office which makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed. It helps take away my nervousness when having to go to my appointments.
