If there were more stars, Space Place NW Self Storage would get more stars! We have stored our household items with Space Place on 3 different occasions over the course of more than 3 years. Whether it was a small storage unit to hold extra tires, car top carrier and other items, or a larger unit for our whole household of good for a year between moves, Space Place has been our go-to-storage place! Even when it meant driving from our home in the NE back over to the SW, it was worth it! Eileen, Shannon and the staff are incredible. Always personable, professional and so very helpful, they are stars. Their customer service always made it very evident that the customers are their priority. Each of the units was clean, dry and secure. The security of the site itself was reassuring to us. The units are easily accessible, and carts and dollies are available for use if we don't have our own. The business hours allowed flexibility on weekdays and weekends. During the pandemic, Space Place has continually honoured and implemented the necessary protocols. It was also a great bonus and convenience to be able to rent a UHaul truck right here at Space Place. Being able to buy packing and storage supplies was also very convenient. Do we recommend Space Place NW Self Storage? Absolutely! They remain our go-to storage place for so many great reasons!

I found all the staff at Space Place very helpful and compassionate. I quickly needed to find a place to move my deceased mothers furniture to in NW Calgary from a LTC facility. I shopped around and Space Place offered exactly want I needed at an affordable price. The staff were kind and informative when talking on the phone. They gave me the option of different choices for payment and sizes of storage unit. I chose post dated cheques for payment for the months ahead not knowing how long the storage would be needed for and chose a smaller unit that had enough space for furniture and box storage. Today ( Nov 17) the move out happened and they returned the December cheque. The location is easily accessible off the transcanada ( across from Canada Olympic Park ) , the area around the units is kept clean and cleared of snow and ice as much as possible in the winter. There is always someone at the front office where check in occurs, to answer questions or help out if needed during the everyday hours that they are open. They follow good covid precautions which is very important these days. I would highly recommend Space Place for your storage needs !

As an owner of a small, fast paced retail business with a constant change of seasonal inventory, my storage needs are somewhat unique. I needed after hours access and enough storage space to accommodate my business at its inception. With the growth of the business so came the need for more storage space and this Space Place has been exceptional. The fees are competitive and fit my budget. The staff have always been very professional and friendly and have gone out of their way on more than one occasion to help me out. They have been attentive and prompt with any issues I have had with my storage units, and have also made the accommodation for me to bring my staff in during inventory season to count stock at the storage units. I would definitely recommend this Space Place to anyone in the market for storage space.

How many people can say that the staff at their storage facility are like family? I can. I have been a member of the Space Place family for over 14 years. I have had three different lockers over the course of my stay that reflected my needs during certain years of my life. It surprised me to recognize how sad I was today when I moved out of my sweet little storage locker. Years of seeing the friendly faces, sharing laughter and great conversation, and having my storage needs supported by the Space Place team have allowed me to establish a very deep relationship with the kind folks who take such good care of my belongings. If you need a storage facility that is priced very reasonably, clean, bright, easily accessible and includes you in their family, make Space Place your home away from home!

The hours they are open are not always convenient, but that is my error for NOT checking prior to renting. Because I made the error of not noticing the hours; the staff has gone out of their way to assist me in every way they can; despite my mistake! They have opened a half hour early for me and have been extremely friendly and courteous towards me. Above and beyond expectations! I have felt cared about by EVERY staff member, they remember me and remember my needs and have been supportive of me thru my entire move from Fort McMurray to Calgary. Very excellent service and I feel very grateful to have chosen to rent a locker with Space Place Storage

I rented a locker while we were between houses. It was very easy to book and the people I dealt with were all great even though I changed my mind a few times and made things more complicated for them. It was nice to support a local business. I first tried calling their neighbor who is part of a large chain and I was connected with someone far away that couldn't figure out what location I was inquiring about. My interactions with Space Place were always with people who were actually there and knew what they were talking about. I would happily choose Space Place again should I ever need a locker again.

Space place storage were absolutely brilliant. We had to return to the UK for a year due to visa issues but didn't want to sell our sofa, beds etc so we had to find some storage. Space place were extremely reasonable and we had a discounted price for the first 6 months. Special shoutout to Eileen who went above and beyond to help us. I emailed a few times over the year just to make sure everything was still ok and Eileen reassured me. She is such an amazing person. After a year, everything was still perfectly intact. Great ventilation. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Thank you guys.

interrogation, spoken to like a criminal. accusations of violations I did not commit. constant blaming the customer of violations . there was a violation committed by another person, I witnessed it , I am to blame , and built up prepared accusations of other violations placed on me so that surely I am guilty of something....this is service ? I am the paying customer, I did nothing to violate any laws. I cannot call security if I do not have a phone ! by law, I am not legally bound to carry a cell phone yet. not encouraging to rent there.

I had moved back to Calgary from Vancouver Island and was shocked at how hard its been to find a rental in Calgary. I had to store my belongings here while I rented a hotel for almost 2.5 months. Finally I got a place and was able to create a home again. This storage place kept my items safe and also they have been very friendly and professional. The people at the front desk are awesome and in this day in age good customer service is hard to come by. Highly recommend this place!

Customer Service I received and clarity of instructions was some of the best I have had in a long time. The guys at the front, especially Justin was awesome, i got clear and concise instructions, he was patient as i had more items and needed a larger storage locker, he was helpful and professional. Honestly, I was impressed enough to take the time to write this review, i got a good deal and left relieved that it was an easy process.

If you need to rent a U-Haul, don't go anywhere else. Really appreciate Eileen going out of her way to help me get a truck for our moving day. She was extremely responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with. If only the same could be said for the weather on the day we moved! Seriously though, don't take your chances on other U-Haul locations...Eileen and her team will go above and beyond to take care of you and treat you right.

Our experience at Space Place NW has been great from beginning to end. They bent over backwards to help us find the right space, then again when we downsized to a smaller space. Every time we went in (numerous times) they were friendly and helpful, even arranging access after normal hours. And we always felt our things were safe and secure. I highly recommend them. Good Covid protocols, great experience, excellent value.

The staff at Space Place were very helpful with my need to store items from a tenant eviction. They are familiar with these types of situations and offered a storage solution that extends beyond the 30 day holding period. Service was great, the storage unit was clean and the drive up access was perfect. The security check in controlled only those who were approved for access. A great spot for your storage needs.

I rented a 10'x20' unit from the wonderful people who run this locally owned business. Not only were they the least expensive storage facility in the area, but the friendliest, with great security, attentive monitoring of conditions in the lanes (ice, debris), and easy in/out procedures. I'd rent here again without hesitation and recommend Space Place without reservation.

I just want to say I would give 10 stars if I could!! I have stored my belongs here for a number of years. Not only did they store my belongs they have gone above, and beyond for me. Although I never did get to store anything in the units, I am giving this business a 5 star rating based on the great customer service and interaction I received when inquiring about and reserving the unit. Very helpful and considerate staff who clearly care about their customers. If I ever do need a storage unit in the future, I will certainly use them.

The staff here are very accommodating super patient as well as down home friendly. Highly recommend this location. They bent over backwards making sure we got the best deal on the right locker for our needs and arranged for the trailor we needed to complete our storage and transportation needs helping take the stress out of the whole process.

I stored some things in a unit here for a few months and also rented a uhaul from them. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the unit and truck were clean and worked great. Also I found that their storage unit pricing was slightly lower than the other place down the street. They were also flexible, easy to work with and accommodating.

They were fantastic when I was in a pinch, staff is super helpful; they made the process of arranging a Uhaul and storing my furniture in a hurry so much less painless than I were to expect. Their manager is a very sweet woman and I could recommend Space Place on my interactions with her alone, she really cares about her customers.

Our family has used their storage facilities over the last five years. The rates are competitive and the staff are excellent. Storage areas are really clean and a dolly is always available to help with moving in and out of the unit. Do not hesitate to choose Space Place. They are professional and care about their clients.

Very friendly, customer focused group of people. Answered all my questions promptly and were very accommodating. I used Space Place for a couple of months transitioning between places during a move. They understood my needs and were very clear about their process. Close-out of my account and unit was also smooth and easy.

We recently removed our belongings from Space Place as we no longer needed their services. For 14 years, Space Place has been a joy to work with. Eileen has been attentive and professional. We’ve never had access, security or any other issues here. Terminating our arrangements with Space Place were efficient and cordial.

After searching all over the city for storage I found Space Place to be the most reasonably priced. While other storage facilities tried to upsell me to a much larger unit, the staff at Space Place were very honest about my storage needs. But on a Personal side they are super friendly it's to bad that I moved away from Calgary as I will miss them as my Storage provider.

I spent a few months in this storage facility and it was a very easy and pleasant experience. The staff were very accommodating and allowed me 24/7 access which was a requirement of mine well looking for storage. Would recommend them to anyone who would enjoy a more personable experience over other facilities.

Used Space Place for a month while I was in the process of moving to AB. I ended up paying for 3 months in advance and then plans changed. I had NO issue getting a refund and cancelling the contract (within the terms of the contract, of course) and the ladies at the front desk were great and thorough.

I have been renting here for 9 years. All staff very friendly and helpful. The building that has my indoor unit has been maintained and is very clean. On many occasions I have seen the staff do rounds checking all the builds and cleaning. Would highly recommend this place at any time.

Staff were all very friendly. Rates are competitive. They were very flexible when I needed to change sizes of my storage locker and tried their best to find something close by that would be easy to access. If I ever need storage space again I will definitely go back.
