Long over due but this is a 5+ Star business! I've been riding Specialized for more than decade and very happy with my bike. I moved to Austin recently and during the really cold weather earlier this, I thought it was a good time to take the bike in for the Annual Service & Cleaning. I've always been happy when taking my bike in to a Specialized store for service... but this is an entirely different level of customer service! First, no need to call. Just book it entirely online (my preference). I filled out the information online and for the remainder of the scheduling, it was all done via text. They are very accommodating and it was easy to get an appointment to bring my bike in. The repair shop is located at a different location but they really go that extra special touch. When you arrive, just text them and a service person will come out to your car and pick up the bike. No waiting, no extra paper work to fill out. Literally hand it over to them and you are on your way! Now, as I said, I've always been pleased with repairs/service from Specialized store, but generally you are going to wait some time. Being this is Austin, and I'm sure others had the same idea given the weather, I had anticipated a few weeks to get my bike back. But instead it was only a few days! When they contacted me, I thought it was to tell me they discovered something that needed replacing, but instead, it was just to pick up the bike. Payment online is a breeze so again, just had to pull, text and someone brought the bike out to my car. It's like the Ritz Carlton of bike shops! My bike as good as the first day I purchased it. That is until months later when I took a spill. Just not paying attention while riding; I noticed the gears not shifting as smoothly so I knew exactly who to take it to! Again, getting an appointment was as easy as the next day! After dropping the bike off, it wasn't long before I received a call and fortunately, it was something pretty minor and I would be able to get my bike the next day! I don't live in Austin, but it's worth the drive for the quality of work they do and their professionalism. Certainly they work on other bike brands, but if you own a Specialized (or any other bike) you won't ever regret bringing your bike here. Everything from the scheduling, the speed and quality of their work to the friendly staff, this is truly a Five Star business!

I purchased my Turbo Tero a few weeks back from specialized Austin. The bike is amazing. It’s versatile and can be used as a commuter bike with added accessories. This is post is less about the product but more about the commitment of customer service by Specialized Austin. Let’s talk about Specialized Austin and what I learned through a purchasing experience that had a bumpy stretch of road. Yes we are all human but the details of what occurred are not important as the outcome. After we worked through some misunderstanding I was invited to have a beer with Kimmi. Here are some insights I want to share. Specialized Austin is a woman owned business. Kimmi has a committed crew of individuals and dogs who puts the rider first and is intent on building relationships. The staff are passionate about all aspects of cycling and knowledgeable of their products and fitting you to the bike to meet your needs. The sales staff are not about a pressured sale but achieve sales through information. Technicians are top notch and walk you through all aspects of your bike. It’s clear having worked with staff and meeting Kimmi I can tell the culture and local brand she wants for the Specialized Austin is shared by the staff I met. They are growing which I find exciting but they also want the connection with the rider to continue. Kimmi and I had THE conversation we should of had a few days before. We both reflected on our experience chose to learn from each other, laughed together, had a beer and I was provided a rare behind the scenes tour of the warehouse. Bottom line you can buy a bike anywhere and that’s your choice. But if your looking for a little more you can by a bike and support a small Austin business with an amazing brand that is willing to build relationships. Maybe you will get a beer invite too!! Thank you Kimmi and team for a great experience even with the “spicey” exchanges during our journey.

I don't typically leave Google reviews but I wanted to take the time to shout out the amazing crew at Specialized Austin. I have bought many bikes over the years but the process of purchasing my first Specialized from this team has made me a life long customer. Everyone that I connected with was extremely kind and knowledgable and patient with my indecisiveness haha. In particular working with Drew Echelberger up at the Domain location has been a highlight for me. I first met Drew when he was working at Bike Farm in Austin and his incredible depth of knowledge and passion for cycling is the whole reason I even considered a Specialized. Drew has been working with me for months on my next bike purchase and went out of his way off and on the clock to help me make my decision. I can say without a doubt I wouldn't be riding a Crux Pro if it wasn't for him. Specialized Austin is lucky to have him on the team! I will definitely be coming back to them for all my future bike purchases and needs. 10/10.

Jumping feet first into a new sport/activity can be intimidating and often a little embarrassing at your lack of knowledge. It's especially true when that sport has such a well established sub-culture such as cycling. None of these apprehensions rang true when I entered Specialized Austin Domain on 12/14/22. Staff members Skot, Chip and Drew were more than welcoming and informative on helping me purchase the right bike for my skill set and taking the time to describe pros and cons of different accessories. I felt like they would have been happy to answer my questions from store open to store close if need be. If you're considering a new bike, or just want talk shop, I recommend you go see them in person as its a worth while retail experience. Sure, I got greeted, but that's about it. I went in there asking for a simple Bolt, and they responded, "Do you have the part number? Do you have your bike serial number?" No, but I have the year make and model. Oh okay well you can go to our other store in South Austin, and if you get the part number, then we can order it for you. Or you can text this automated number. Then, after we figured out that it was "the old style," they literally said nothing about ordering it for me. Being that I am a parts specialist. Part numbers are easy for me. he just lost all of my business, and the internet gained it all. Tried to do the whole support local thing, but you can't support unprofessionalism. Edit** part number S190500001....

Specialized Austin is one of the best businesses in Austin for cycling equipment and service. Period. I highly recommend them. Contact them even if you’re not sure what you need. They’ll get you set up right. Their team stands out with their incredible friendliness, service, expertise, and attention to detail. They truly love bikes and helping folks get on them. I’ve purchased many products from them including complete bikes (which are great in their own right, but I won’t get into that in this review.) Every time I need something they’re so helpful and answer all of my awkward questions. The team there is engaged with the Austin cycling community as well which is cool. Again, I highly recommend this business and team.

Fantastic experience! Skot was so great and never forced any product on me at all. He listened to all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable on anything I asked him. He even answered my questions via text as I live in College Station about 2 hours away. He was so helpful and knowledgeable I ended up buying some accessories as well as a new Wahoo Kickr trainer the same day! I really can’t say enough about my experience buying my new Specialized road bike from Specialized Austin, and I will definitely be back ASAP for more great gear down the road (if I ever stop riding!) Again, thanks so much Skot and everyone at Specialized Austin for the best new bicycle buying experience I’ve ever had! Y’all are the best!!

I can’t speak highly enough of the service Avery at Specialized Austin provided me. My bike was assembled within just a few hours and ready for pick up same day. Avery communicated with me throughout the entire process keeping me updated. I picked up the bike at Spokesman Coffee Shop and was even able to order a coffee on Specialized’s tab (very cool!). Avery brought me the bike and went over all the specs very thoroughly. I left with no questions feeling educated on my new bike! I highly recommend buying your bike here, you won’t regret it.

The staff involved with every aspect of my bike service recently has been phenomenal to say the least. They were super effective communicators regarding scheduling and every issue with my bike. They even found some issues I had not seen. I’m very thankful to have this level of experience working on my bicycles and e mtb especially so I can ride with total confidence that the machine is good to go. I called Rachael a month ago when the Trek bike I had ordered was delayed by another 3 months or more. She helped me order a Sirrus X5.0 within 20 minutes, saying it would probably be a couple of months wait. I was fine with that because it’s a great bike! Well, turns out I picked up the bike today! Not even a full month had gone by! Thanks Specialized! Christmas came early! And I LOVE the bike. (I bought my GF the X4.0 last summer, and it’s a fantastic bike for her too!)

This was, by Far, the easiest and best bike buying experience I have had. Staff was extremely helpful and shared my enthusiasm for finding my new bike, answering every question and going above and beyond with their help. Very easy pickup process and great communication. We had a long drive to pick it up and they were very accommodating with pickup time. They made the whole process fun - not something I expected from an online purchase. Highly, highly recommended!

Blown away!!! I randomly called these guys looking for a 22 Levo. They are IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND. Made something like 225 units for North America. They had one. In fact I think they have a bunch. The woman I talked to, Rachel, was so kind and helpful and responsive and instant follow through. Just blown away. Their buyer is a beast and had the foresight to know everyone was gonna want this bike. Got a killer allocation and voila. Truly blown away.

I'm a recent Specialized customer and they have left enough impression for me not be a returning customer again. They told me I would get a full refund on an unused bike and provided a partial refund. Another bike I bought brand new was delivered with a scratch and I was asked if I had caused it as soon as I got home. Also the average time from order to delivery is about 3-4 weeks with nearly no communication in between that time.

We worked with Drew recently at the South Austin warehouse/delivery location to get a new mountain bike for my son. If you already know what you want, what size, color, etc. than this is a great location for quick delivery of a new bike. If you need a lot of help shopping for a new bike and guidance on what to purchase for your riding style, size, etc. then you would be better off going to the storefront location in the Domain.

Kimmie & Avery were extremely Knowledgeable, helpful and timely during our entire bike purchasing experience. Specialized’s showroom doesn’t open for another 5-6 weeks, but that seems to have driven the staff here to deliver a top notch buying experience (the bikes are fantastic too)! I have Bought three bikes with this shop. 1 bike was bought before they even had the domain location. I started with a rockhopper, then Status, and now have a stuntjumper evo. I just bought a eBike from the Austin Specialized team. I LOVE my eBike (Vado SL) - every bike ride is like a vacation. The Specialized team, Kim specifically, were super helpful in finding the right bike, adjusting it for me and getting me all set up. While they don't yet have a store-front, the Specialized team is open for business and I highly recommend them!

I went in for a rear tail light for my cargo bike. They recommended the cheapest option. I had to request the flux r tail light and insist I needed a brighter light to protect my family and I. The sales person should have recommended the better product upon learning my application. 2 stars because the specialized flux r tail light is the bomb.

Bought my Specialized Aethos from them a little less than a year ago and took it back when my rear derailleur exploded on me in the middle of a ride. They did a safety check, replaced the derailleur, and got it back to me the same day as the incident - a Sunday nonetheless. Great service and communication!

Rachel, and her staff are fantastic. Have been a big fan of specialized products for a long time. They sold me a new saddle, and also are handling my warranty on my power saddle that broke. Most of the staff had worked for Bicycle Sport Shop, and are continuing the same customer service as they had before.
