We had one of the most pleasant home visits from Dr. Christina Forras. My partner and I are first time puppy owners so you can imagine we've been learning a lot and can be a bit paranoid about every little thing that happens. Our puppy, Presley, just got back from a 3 week board and train and was showing signs of something we've never experienced. She was sneezing and often sounded like she was going to hack something up. My partner let me know while I was at work on Saturday that she started throwing up bile so we knew she needed to see a professional asap. I knew it was going to be difficult to find a vet mid day on a Saturday but I called every number I could find. Thankfully Dr. Forras shot me a text and was able to call me back pretty quickly. I honestly did not think it would be possible to get Presley into a vet until Monday but I am so happy Dr. Forras was able to come the very next day and see Presley. She had such a calming aura and thoroughly answered all of our questions. She also texted regularly to check up on Presley and even made her a song playlist that I use at least once a week to calm her down. I've already recommended and passed Dr. Forras' info to a client of mine and will definitely be using her in the future.

I have had the great pleasure of having Dr Christina Forras treat one of my pets. Back in October 2021 Dolly, my toy fox terrier was suffering from a bleeding cyst that formed on her tail. She was leaving a bloody trail through out our house. And she could not help but to gnaw at her tail because of the discomfort and pain. To add to the matter my household was recovering from the flu that we were isolating ourselves and couldn’t take Dolly to the Vet. We were pretty desperate for help being that we were honestly exhausted with or own health. Timing is everything and thankfully Dr Christina Forras was a House call away. She was able to help treat and mend my Dolly back to good health. She handle Dolly with a calmness and gentleness that I was quite surprise that Dolly didn’t nip her being that Dolly can be irritable with strangers. She prescribed meds and recommend lots of advice on post care. She did an excellent job! A great thanks to Dr Christina Forras for helping us get Dolly better! She has my recommendation.

I can’t even find the words to describe how incredibly grateful I am to have had Dr. Christina recommended to me by my neighbor. Dr. Christina has the most gentle and calming presence. Exactly what you need for a pet with vet anxiety. She was thorough and intentional. She had so many educational resources handy and ready to share. She provided me with so many answers, and always so very kindly. She absolutely went above and beyond, and honestly continues to, to this moment. Her commitment to quality care for animals and humans alike is evident. It’s more than just a service, it’s a personal relationship and I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I would recommend her to any and all who are looking for a home vet who will make you and your fur babies feel safe and loved from the moment she arrives. I could go on and on… My fur babies and me can’t thank Dr. Christina enough!

Fantastic experience during my dog’s (unexpected) appointment with Dr Forras! On Sunday, he was squinting one eye, and seemed like he was a bit lethargic. After calling a few emergency vet clinics, all who were at capacity and referred me to each other, I called Dr. Forras and she helped out right away. I initially didn’t call because I thought her mobile vet service may be too good to be true, and to be honest it was just the too good part! She was extremely patient with my little reactive dog, and he warmed up to her super quickly without a muzzle (he typically wears a muzzle to our in clinic vet). She called in meds right away and he was on his way to feeling better in no time! She checked in on him the next day and sent over some helpful info about dog diet, managing joint health, etc. I would definitely rely on Dr. Forras again to see my dog!

I am incredibly grateful to have Christina as a Vet. She genuinely cares about my cat, Daisy, like it is her own, giving her quality time and care. Daisy recently experienced anal gland issues. Christina reviewed her blood work and recommended a healthy food brand with ingredients she trusts. She also sent articles for me to look over that were very helpful resources on how to care for Daisy. Christina's recommendations positively changed Daisy's health substantially, she is now having healthy digestion and her energy is back to normal. Christina was always patient and kind with my questions when Daisy was in need. I am so relieved to have found a vet that I can trust with my baby. Christina helped me feel more clear and aware of all the options I had when it came to my cat. I went to her, letting her know how serious my cats condition is and explained everything that had been occurring. She made me feel way more assured and assisted through the process of trying to understand what was occurring with my cat and what direction would lead me to the best results, as my in person vet only gave me 2 very black and white options, leaving me heavily stressed and upset. My cat is already showing better signs energetically and beginning to eat and drink again, and I feel deeply assured I can go to her with anything in the future. Thank you Christina.

Our experience with Christina was phenomenal. I reached out to her when my dog, Borris, got sick. She made a house visit within 20 minutes of our initial call and I had a prescription within the hour. Christina periodically reached out to check on how he was doing and even offered a reiki session. Christina is very kind and great at what she does. Absolutely recommend.

This person was so helpful! Was not able to afford the in-home service at the moment, but she really went above and beyond helping me over the phone with what she could. Really eased the stress that comes with pet problems and provided a lot of information and resources. I highly recommend going here first before dropping your dog off at some clinic.

What a compassionate, caring, and competent professional! Dr. Forras examined my pup and determined she needed treatment from a hospital. She then recommended several to us in addition to sending her notes to share with the animal hospital and texting to check on the patient after surgery. I highly recommend Spirit Vet ATX!
