I would normally give this location a 5 star but after my experience tonight, NOPE... I don't know who the closing mgr was tonight, but she WAS NOT helpful and RUDE!!! Also, this location had been selling their indiv pieces of water taffy individually, which made my shopping VERY easy because I could walk in, go to the table and GRAB a handful of my orange taffy AND a handful of my watermelon one. Tonight when I went into the store to purchase more taffy, the store had decided to put ALL OF THEIR TAFFY TOGETHER in a barrel and mixed it. 1. I ONLY eat 2 flavors.... watermelon and orange creme.... I was in a rush, I didn't have time to make 5-10 mins on picking out what I would normally get. Another thing....the strawberry and watermelon ones are the same color. I'M ALLERGIC TO STRAWBERRIES! So my taffy fixed went right out the door tonight. The meat dept closed up early so I couldn't get the meats that I also went for.... The staff didn't want to accommodate me. 2. I had to take an herbal supplement back. I explained to the same mgr that the receipt was accidentally shredded. She told me that she couldn't do a refund without the receipt and I said fine that I understood. I then asked if I could have in-store credit and get something else. I was told NO. The other mgrs have been very polite in the past with certain issues and very helpful. Whoever this woman was at closing time tonight, she is in the wrong career. For now on, unless it's during the week, I will not be returning to this location on Saturday nights. I will take my time, business and money back to the Callaghan location from this point on.

As the newest (if not one of the newest) Sprouts Farmers Markets in San Antonio, I have to say that this is my favorite one. The store is nicely organized, uncluttered, bright and well-stocked. The staff is always helpful and energetic. Stop by the meat/deli counters for helpful advice, a sample of their deli meats/cheeses and their salads. Ask any of their employees in the fruit/vegetable section for assistance in finding the right produce. The check-out staff is always eager to point me in the right direction for anything that I haven't been able to find. Great staff from beginning to end! The store is located at the corner of Evans and Bulverde in northern San Antonio. The parking lot is easy to navigate and with the current COVID-19 pandemic, you'll meet a Sprouts employee when you enter the store who is eager to sanitize the shopping cart/basket just for you! Masks are currently (6/5/2020) required, which shouldn't be seen as anything other than a polite and reciprocally beneficial thing to do. I digress... This Sprouts Farmers Market is a great (and my favorite) place to buy delicious fruit, vegetables and meat. I especially enjoy their fresh olives, currently only available in pre-packaged containers in the deli section, but normally offered at their olive bar. Check this store out if you're in the area. I think that you'll agree that it's a great place to shop.

I do 99% of my grocery shopping here. I like variety of food and prices. But lately I was disappointed with customer service. Its mostly because of bulk section and some cashiers. One time I noticed pantry moth flying around bulk section but I just ignored it. But other time I was scooping some dry fruit and saw a larvae in it, so I told one of the employees in very polite way, but he just looked at it, took it and walked away, without saying a word to me like I was some kind of nuisance. So rude!!! Some other time I was looking for some tea and had a question, I was just standing there quite some time to catch employees attention. One of them was walking by, so I asked him, and he just said he doesn't know anything about it and walked away again making me feel like I'm wasting his time. Some of the cashiers are very nice, but some don't seem to care about service at all. I worked as a cashier myself and you HAVE to greet EVERY customer in the line and say something like have a nice day. Its your JOB. You get payed for it. And I know sometimes its just a bad day, you're tired, end of shift, but some cashiers are like that every time I'm there. They just scan your food and take your money without looking or saying anything to you. That's so rude and unprofessional. I like the store a lot, but management needs to pay more attention to quality of customer service.

Was there a little wile ago. Sprouts market has been part of my life for over 20 years As a Californian .sprouts has come a long way since it used to be bonneys super market then it changed to Henry's supermarket now sprouts. So went ahead and got a few items like vitamins and organic popcorn .and got some good help choosing for mineral oils and vitamins from an older lady tha knows her stuff. enough so tha that I could carry using one hand against my body. at that time I saw a short guy working cleaning the floors wich seem to be Hispanic but didn't pay much attention to him. I keep looking around the store. At the time I was ready to pay there was an older lady in front of me after a little while she was gone. Then it was my turn in the process of the paying part .the same guy that I saw showed up at the register he had the mistrust looking at me and didn't said a word to me with a walkie talkie on hand and just stood there until I was walking out of the store And I keep on thinking what was it that ?I was wearing my work clothes and ragy pants and ragy baseball cap?I new he wasn't there to help me!! Since I didn't have much! I would've given sprouts a 5 star review but not this time.

This location has a bakery,deli,butcher departments. Large selection of organic produce fresh and frozen. Decent selection of conventional and organic meats, including a few exotic game meats. Large bulk section. Better than average gluten or dairy free choices. Best selection of organic candy. Beer,Craft Beer, and Wine available. Huge vitamin,and supplements department. Also great assortment of personal care products of the no animal testing,no petroleum type products. Only reason for 4 stars for me is some items are definitely the highest price in town.( I shop Central Market,H.E.B.,Whole Foods, and Super Target as well) I've always had at least the minimum of expected customer service,usually asked by a few employees while shopping if I can be helped. I've even called to make sure they have something before going and they pulled it to the side for me. There are some groceries I can only get here .

The manager here is very rude. The only reason I'm not giving a one star is because of the employees. The cashier I had was sweet. I usually go to the other location and have never had a problem there. This location, however, I did. I was buying items with coupons, but they wouldn't scan because the items rang up as clearance, but it's still the item. He was extremely rude and refused to take my coupons and didn't even tell me that it was policy. I would understand more if it was a part of the coupon policy, but he was a complete jerk about it. Clearance is really just a sale. I tried explaining that to him, but he wouldn't hear it and completely wrote me off. I told him he could keep the products because I don't deserve that treatment. I am a loyal Sprouts customer and was extremely disappointed with this location. Could have potential if they get a new manager.

So I was looking for a frozen food went to the manufacturers website they listed this sprouts as the only location in a 60mile radius. I checked The website for the store and it said they had what I wanted. It even had it so I could order it online and just pick it up(why bother when I can grab it myself) so I drove here no they didn't have it nor did they have a place for it the employees that I asked 5 of them told me that if it's not out they don't have it. I was like but I can order it online and pick it up in an hour from this store right now. One asked me to prove it so I went threw the process and then she pointed out that they can substitute the product for a like item with out notice. RUDE I then tried to cancel my order with in seconds of placing it but it was to late. I will never come back here. misleading is not a good way to win over customers

The new location is absolutely beautiful. There’s a bit more of everything, the store is ALWAYS so clean, the staff is extremely nice. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever met a rude employee in the past 5 years I’ve been going to sprouts. I am also seriously considering having breakfast here every day just because their pastries look and taste delicious. Their bulk selection is pretty good, as well as fruits and veggies. It’s a great store, I love coming here just because of how nice everyone is, their products are great and coming here is good for the environment! They started selling their own bulk bags and it is a game changer, I don’t use any plastic bags anymore. It’s just an overall great place that sells stuff thats is good for you and your body and good for the environment as well.

Disappointed in the the expensive cost of produce lately. They have really gone way up in price, while Whole Foods is going down, like HEB and Target. Not going back. Couldn't find someone to help me in the supplement area either and when I finally did find someone she had no clue about the products. That NEEDS to change! Produce quality is no different than any other store either. I'm so tired of poor service, long lines and high cost of products, and stores not hiring people because it costs too much to hire quality people. Sprouts, if you don't want to pay employees you will lose customer. I know you have lost some already because I have talked to several friends that used to go there and aren't any more for the same reason. I won't be back!

One of my favorite places to shop! The meat is always fantastic. The produce was not impressive this visit many of the vegetables would have needed to be quickly, you really needed to search for good items, the cauliflower was most definitely a no go. Not to mention it seemed as if there was a much smaller variety. Do NOT forget to bring your own bags or they will charge you for them. The cashier was extremely impatient and gave us little time to bag our groceries before moving on to the next customer therefore I just started throwing stuff in the cart and bagged it at my car. This experience will not stop me from shopping at Sprouts as long as my next experience isn't like this one

I love Sprouts. I know the fruit and vegetables are going to be fresh. If something is identified organic, it is. Not just labeled as such. I still miss the barrels of nuts candies. Better for my waistline since I could not leave without a purchase from both. All the partners who work there are attentive, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Sprouts is a great place to shop. Also I bought a package of colorful cotton masks. They may be kids size since they do not ear to ear. I have a small face and these are just right. The cover my mouth and nose and fit snug enough that the do not slide off my nose.

Was so looking forward to this visit to Sprouts, we have not been for 3 years & when we lived in California. We visited this location over Memorial Day weekend & it was not crazy busy. We had planned on stocking up on some Pollo Asada & were astounded at the price per pound. I was wondering if it came with gold bricks. We unfortunately did not buy any chicken to bring back to Mississippi. We did buy some chocolate covered honeycomb, but it didn't come with gold bricks either. I get inflation, but the prices at this location were egregious. The good note was the staff was friendly!

As a new shopper here, the customer service I received this evening was odd. When we were ready to checkout, an older staff member who was wearing a hardcore decorated face shield, waved to get my attention, rather than using words, to let me know another lane was open. She also just pointed to the lane to get in. Then, the cashier was silent the WHOLE transaction. I was sure he'd at least give me my total. Nope. So, I broke the ice by jokingly asking if he and the other employee were playing the quiet game to which he barely audibly and very seriously said, "no".

This location is horrible. We were excited to have one open up walking distance from our house. We used to go to the arbor park center one. The deli is slow, the front end is not supported even though you see 10-15 employees on the floor .. none are cashier certified. Managers are sitting in the office (Bill closer to vitamin section) on a Sunday prime time. The other office employees are in the other office near the front end going in and out.. I knocked and no one responded. This place has gone so far downhill.. the GM doesn’t care either.

I always have a good shopping experience at Sprouts Bulverde Road location! I do want to point out that Gino, meat dept, always goes above & beyond. The dept. is always clean & organized. He is friendly & interacts with the customers, assisting them with their questions. One Sunday I’d asked for lamb chops but he said he was out of them. He actually tracked me down in the frozen section & let me know he had some. He’s the best! It’s this level of service that has me returning weekly to Sprouts! Excellent customer service, Gino!!!

I really like this company, this store, and I want to like it more. BUT!! The prices keep climbing. I purposely do not want to shop for the things I need on Amazon. I want to support this Store but, your pricing me out of options. Your now 3 to 5 dollars more on each item. I spend 25 to 50 extra monthly to shop there. I watch for sales. I get cost, and items raising in cost. However, I can now order, Not drive and save allot of time and, Now money. I will come to you as long as I can. Keep trying!! PLEASE!!

I haven't had any negative experiences shopping at Sprouts. In addition to all the packaged and bulk health foods, they have a really good selection of vitamins and supplements, natural beauty and hygiene products, and reasonably priced, good quality produce and meat. The staff has always been helpful when I've had trouble finding things, and friendly during checkout. I wish the old Naco location was still going because it was closer to home, but I'll continue to shop at Sprouts at this location.

I had a back surgery yesterday but today I had to go, I could not move or bend correctly, I asked one of the employees if she could help me, Stella went with me to get everything that I did want it, then she took me to one of the cashier (Maritza) that even got everything out my basket and went all of way to my car to put it inside of my truck, I felt amazing with those to employees that helped me to do my shoping save and pleasant, Thank you Stella and Maritza for your help and kindllest with me

They have great prices on chicken, beef and fish. Check out their weekly ads. Most of the time chicken breasts and tenders are around 1.99 per lb. They have the ground beef go one sale often for 3.99-4.99 lb. Great deals! And if they run out of sale items they gladly offer you rain checks that don't expire. I like that the store is smaller than HEB and easy to navigate and get in and out quickly. The people are very nice also. We visit Sprouts every weeks for our grocery needs.

Excellent customer service I was helped by a young man by the name of nick who was very nice he even offered to sample a bag of chips off the shelf that I was curious about!! when I had asked about the nutritional factors and benefits of certain items he was very knowledgeable and went into great detail and was able to help me very much! along with many other great employees him and the rest of the staff make coming here a necessity. Will be returning soon!

I wish they carried more items that I use. I like them better than Whole Foods but they just won’t carry my stuff. I have food allergies so I need specific products and even though I have requested them, they won’t carry them. Even left a request for a manager and no one ever returns my call. If they put more energy into carrying what ppl ask for, they might have more customers. It’s a good location too so it’s a real shame I can’t shop here more.

A mostly organic grocery store with some very high quality organic food. If you live organic food, then this is the place to go for your groceries. Their prices are competitive and not as high as The Whole Foods store. The customer service is great. Although sometimes I feel that their food collection is not that elaborate like the other grocery stores. The are conveniently located in a new market with ample parking space

I come to this location infrequently bc I live so far away but if I lived closer I'd come everyday. The store is well organized, clean and the employees are helpful. They carry a variety of niche items and their produce is respectable. As far as organic/health food stores their pricing is competitive, not great but for a smaller chain they offer specials all the time and their self branded items are respectable.

Starting to have issues with this particular Sprouts. I purchased a Caesar salad for lunch and it had a use by December 13 date on it. However ,as you can see the lettuce is brown-no that is not a crouton in the middle of the salad -that is lettuce!!! I have also had issues in the bakery where I have purchased baked items but once I got home the item described is not what’s located inside the bakery box....groan

It has a good selection and prices are competitive. I have the HEB app and I compared their organic items vs Sprouts, and Sprouts had a better deal. Now for the quality, I'm unsure if it was the day I went but many of their veggies were old and looked old. Friendly cashiers, good selection on bulk goods. It's not a huge store but it has plenty of the items you may need

Friendly employees greet you upon entering the store, clean and organized cart corral and a large and varied selection of fruits and vegetables with good prices. The meat and chicken selections were good along with a varied assortment of bread, cookies and pastries to choose from. The salad bar was well stocked and the sandwich bar is excellant.

Clean, good selection and modest prices but when cashiers scan your fruit they need to slow down .. they ruined my fruit when scanning, broke the skin and left deep line marks-ruined. They also try to put everything in 1 bag! Workers at this Sprouts have to acknowledge and understand the consumers concern and value of their groceries!

I am 17 weeks pregnant and a few days ago I had a little pregnancy malfunction and almost passed out in the store. The employees were so quick and attentive to get me water, food and anything I needed, I didn’t get any names but a guy with a bunch of tattoos and his manager helped me so much, couldn’t have been more grateful!

I've been waiting for this one for a long time. And I'm pleased to say I'm not disappointed! Great store with a great selection of fresh produce, meats and bulk nuts. Perfect size too! Not too small that they don't carry a lot of essentials and not so big that you can't get in and out quickly. Prices are on par with HEB.

The produce is so disappointing They have a good selection but most of the time the organic stuff is moldy, rotting, or shriveling, ugh! I bet their temperature is too warm. This costs you money in spoilage too. I appreciate all the other selection of non perishables but I wish the produce was better.

Very clean, organized. Produce is fresh and supply is larger than any other grocery chain. Only cons are the prices are a little high, but it's to be expected for that area and it's a healthier selection. Also the staff wasnt very welcoming, not a single one said anything to us. Even cashing out. Odd.

The Sprouts on Bulverde Rd. was exceptional today. Very friendly at the meat counter, with honest suggestions. Always appreciate that! Good looking meats and fish, and our favorite wings are the Jamaican jerk. Customer service in other departments could use a boost, but very satisfied overall.

Really hit or miss, nice staff, but produce is not usually very good. And not enough sugar free options for a health based store. I have seen expired produce obviously rotated to the front and good produce put behind it. They charge for bags. Really sad showing when your in HEB's home market.

We have grown to love the convenience of our local Sprouts. Overall, a great grocery store for basics and some specialty items. Meat counter is excellent. Staff is mostly friendly consistently. Produce from time to time is a little inconsistent on the freshness side, but all else very good.

Love it here. The employees are always so nice and helpful. Its clean and organized and a small store. Lots of healthy, fresh, and gluten free products. Their natural non produce products are amazing. And! They give you discounts for bringing your own resusable bags! What a wonderful place.

Nice to have a neighborhood market that is easy to get into and out of. The usual commercial brands are not there but the alternatives are good and there is always a good variety of produce available. I like the availability of bulk items usually in both standard and organic varieties.

This has to be my favorite grocery store in town. The employees are nice and helpful, the deals are amazing, and the store brand products are high quality. I haven't had the best experience with the fresh seafood (goes bad before I can prepare it), but everything else has been great.

Harvey was our cashier at Sprout's. We had a problem with a coupon, he worked it all out. He was very professional, caring about the customer, and makes a most excellent Sprouts customer service excellence employee Also, Jennifer is the best! Thank you, Harvey, Jennifer and Sprouts!

The store was not crowded at all, well stocked and is generally offering promotions on a variety of quality, healthy foods. My main issue with this store is its location and the larger footprint is really lacking the neighborhood feel/experience that I always enjoyed about Sprouts.

They have a good amount of visual employee's but always have a line with one register open. 50% of time they open a lane when the line gets very long. Just don't go in a rush, is my only suggestion. (Update July 14) They have gotten better at having people available as cashiers.

I had a great experience. The store was so clean. The employees were very helpful. The deli had so many things to choose from. The deli employee named Tarq was very courteous and helpful. I'm going to send all my friends and family to Sprouts. I will also be coming back.

Everything is very clean and tidy! Trying to add some weight loss friendly and brain healthy stuff to my daddy's diet ... Kind'a pricey ... But I rather expected it to be. Sad really that eating healthy has to be so darn expensive. Still ... Great store!! We'll be back!

I have not been very happy with this store lately. Dates on things are showing product is not rotating. The milk is almost never purchasable because it is expiring within a few days. The produce is also showing signs of age when you go look

I have to say it is a joy coming into this store ! Especially since they have such great employees like Abdul ,who Everytime I come in with my kids , he helps me out by sampling and my kids love him ! He is so friendly and kind . Seriously

I went to the store October 11th and got Tofutti Sour Cream. A few days later, I got it out of the refrigerator, checked the expiration date, and it was October 1! I purchased it almost two weeks past the expiration date! So gross!

Great place. Fresh foods! Clean store! Convenient parking. They were out of my Kate's cranberry almond oatmeal energy bars. Everything else was great. Great staff. Helpful, Knowledgeable. Courteous. Friendly. Keep up the great work!

I love to go to Sprouts. Their produce is always very fresh and it it they1¹11 great prices. This is also the only place I like to buy meat from. It is also very reasonably priced. They have a huge vitamin selection as well.

Always clean. It's a small store, so finding what you need is usually pretty easy, and memorizing the layout is easy enough after a few visits. All of the staff are very friendly as well. Not a bad place to shop at all.

This is an Okay location. Sometimes they have good stuff but the Produce is very lackluster. We actually make the trip to the Sprouts on Callaghan, even though that is 30 minutes away. It has WAYYYYY better produce.

Good Sprouts location. Typical selection of products including beer and wine. We have never seen ir busy, which is nice. Oddly, some customers bring their large pet dogs shopping with them, which seems odd.

Good fruit and veggies. Prices comparable to H-E-B for produce. Sprouts also had chicken breasts so that was a huge plus. Yes, there are some pricey things, but I don't usually purchase the pricey stuff.

I love this little neighborhood grocery! They have a limited selection of high-quality products that cover most routine needs. We all appreciated their great efforts to stay open and safe during COVID.

Sprouts have a great selection of food at reasonable prices. Their meat department doesn't beat out HEB unless they have sales. It's my go-to place for organic products and supplements.

This is a great grocery store with healthier and hard to find items. The prices are much more reasonable than their better known competitors.

Produce is all small and overpriced! Good luck trying to call anybody in the deli department!! Cashiers are not very friendly either.

OMG, the sales on dried fruit and nuts was awesome, fresh salad mixing, colored tomatoes, colored carrots, hatch chili tortillas
