St Albans station is a nice station which is semi-underground. This station is served by train on the Sunbury and Watergardens lines with services direct to Sunbury, Watergardens and Flinders Street. The station is protected by Protective service Officers (PSO's) from 6pm-last train each night. Even though PSO's are 8b this station, it can get scary come night time although generally speaking if you're not affiliated with any illegal activities you are usually fine. On the right side of the station there are bus stops which service the routes 418, 419, 421, 408 and 425 busses. Train services usually depart every 20 minutes non peak, as frequently as every 3 minutes peak and hourly at night. Busses finish around 9:30 and are usually in-frequent. V/line trains to Kyneton, Bendigo, Eaglehawk, Epsom, Echuca and swan hill do come through the station at fast speeds however do not stop.
It's St albans a modern premium station. It's a decent station with vending machines and the elevators are okay though a bit dirty. Good access into the town with every thing you really need near by. It can get crowded at peak times. Bad side is never use the toilets here just don't. I do miss the old train station though, but hey it's a lot better then it used to be.
Very good station. The platform are very large and there are ramps and lifts fro people to access them besides the stairs. It's staffed and you have numerous bus services for you to travel to and from the station.
A hundred times better after the upgrade a few years ago. Modern and accessible, trains are always on time and there are always connecting buses. It may get a bit scary at night though and it is often crowded.
Modernly designed and much improved compared to pre-2017. Generally felt safe, except for an incident in 2018 where a drug addicted junkie went on a racist rant and tried to stab me with a syringe.
Overall, a nice well-maintained reliable station. Off-peak services could be improved but not terrible. My only complaint is the station's design, very dull & grey. Quite displeasing to look at.
Very bad toilet service. Only 1/4 toilets in use while 3/4 toilet out of order or being locked for whatever reason. So what’s the purpose for building these? Kind of decorations?
Love the atmosphere, definitely one of the better lgbtq+ friendly clubs in Melbourne. Great barbecue grilling facilities.
I approached a nice young gentleman in the late evening and he was very kind, he gave me directions to the trap house.
Not a bad railway station, but it getting upgraded soon as part of the railway removal crossing program.
Pls now stop making renovations caz people is now irritat with seeing the diversion sign.
