The new management is ruining the good name that the previous owner has worked so hard to earn. Cheap cheap cheap now that's the name of the game, overcharging, fraudulent jumbos, nickel and diming the customer and on top of all that he refuses to refund my quarter when the gumball machine ate my money and after shortchanging me a nickel to boot (I didn't bother mentioning it at the time). So as I'm expressing my displeasure to him in a calm and respectful fashion he starts yelling at me and his words had in no way responded to anything I had said proving that he wasn't listening and didn't want to hear what I had to say, then he goes to the till prints a receipt and puts it on the counter triumphantly, here it is here! He says. I tell him I didn't ask for a receipt so he proceeds to argue with me insisting that I did and then to top it all of her threatens me under his breath and runs outside to his truck. I just started laughing... What else could I do? His shameful display totally ruined the vibe in the place but i ate there anyway. The food is more or less the same just smaller portions Tldr: new management sucks avoid at all costs. Unless you like being ripped off and mocked in a foreign language

Went in to order a couple of pizzas. Noticed that there were no prices up on the board so asked how much a 10" (med) pizza was. Answer was not forthcoming so asked again, this time asking how much a 10" pizza with mushroom and onion was. Still no answer, they had to put it through the till to find out (really??) Finally got told it would cost $12.45 so I told them not to bother and asked for two large fries and a small onion rings. I had to ask this 3 times as they could not comprehend what I was saying and then ended up with one large fries and ... who knows what size onion rings and it came to $7.95. First and last time I will ever go there, felt they were evasive and dishonest but maybe it is just the english language that is a barrier, either way, I don't like to be ripped off for what I expected to be sub par food anyway! When I came home and checked on skip the dishes, only the 12" pizzas were $12.45! As a plus, the onion rings were pretty good ... fries were not that great.

Great Food, Great People, awesome selection. Food is hot, delicious, and ready without a noticeable amount of waiting. Spacious, relatively peaceful dining experience, and Customer Service that really seems to matter to the employees. A small business with a big heart. I've eaten here quite a few times, and staying in, they bring your food to you, sometimes even before you've paid, which shows a very different level of Customer Service that I rarely see, and makes you feel appreciated. On the go, food is prepared in a very timely manner. The overall dining experience, visually is not aesthetically pleasing, but it in no way detracts from the quality of, and enjoyment therein, of what you choose to eat and the experience, though usually brief, that you go home with after. Overall I would recommend it to anyone in the Area, and even to those who may not be, to have a stop in, or get some great food to go. Foods eaten: Donair, Super Donair, Donair Sub, Poutine, French Fries.

I work close by and I always get a donair combo and the owner is always so nice I recently tried their flavoured donair which this location is the only one I know of in the city that has flavoured donairs and the fries are always crunchy and soft and the owner is really sweet and funny the place is really clean and the donair is a tantalizing to the palette all in all this is by far the best food place in the city

Relatively new to the city and decided to give it a try. It may not be the prettiest restaurant but my goodness is it ever delicious!! My boyfriend got a jumbo beef donair and I tried the chicken burger. Both were great size and at an amazing price too. Lots of toppings and they even toasted the bun! Lol Staff was friendly and accommodating, made sure no tomato was on my burger. The food came out fast too which was awesome. We'll be back!

Stopped here a couple weeks ago for the first time and it was SO GOOD! I had a jumbo donair meal with onion rings (best onion rings I have ever had) and a drink. It's affordable, made fresh to order, and have pizza and chicken and all sorts of things for an extensive menu. They also sell baklava for a desert and it's deadly good. It's clean and the staff are really nice.... Oh and 1 more thing, I got a Pina colada drink that I have never seen before that is imported from another country and yummm! They have tons of drinks like this to choose from with flavors you probably haven't tried which is enough to go back in itself, imo. Must try :) they also deliver!

The place was not clean and they had people smoking right outside and it was coming right into the restaurant, the service was okay, the Donair was a good size and well priced but I did not like their Donair at all! I was referred to the from a friend via word of mouth and I regretfully should have not gone to check it out. I like East coast style Donairs and so I did not like the Donair and I only ate half and tossed it away. If you do not like East coast style Donairs than it may be a okay for other than it was not clean and people smoked Right outside. I can not say anything bad about their price and the size of the Donair.

The poutine was little over charged for for size you get, but it tasted great. Got a 14" pizza for the most part a great tasting pizza, only down side was can mushrooms, they ruin most of the taste, luckly the rest of the toppings where on par for normal pizza. Word of fact use real ingredients, I wont be ordering your pizza again, and will tell others about your fake mushrooms - Can is fake. And yes I use to work in pizza industry before, so I know that real mushrooms are possible and cheaper then can if done right.

this is a hit or miss place. service is always slow no matter what you order. Do NOT ORDER ANYTHING BEFORE 12 OR 1 ... because it will be undercooked and disgusting.. they cooked my poutine in warm grease.. this was an hr after they opened... you would think the grease is on hot and ready for orders... no. pizza was absolutely disgusting very low grade quality toppings. I was flabbergasted a p hair in it?.. I talked to manager he said I dunno its fine? Isn't the customer always right ? I will never go there again.

I ordered an X-Large Stadium Special Pizza on the 20th of April from them, took a while to get it because they use Skip the Dishes for delivery. The only request I made was for extra sauce. When I opened the box to eat a slice, there was hardly any sauce & hardly any toppings, for the price I paid I expected more than what I got, I won't call it barren, but it was pretty close! Not worth it, I should have stuck with my first choice and ordered from Panago which is right across the street from them!

The donairs are absolutely amazing, the cheesy bread is to die for. The pizza is terrible! If they made the pizza like they make the cheesy bread it would be so amazing, but they don't, and it isn't that great. Don't get me wrong. This place is really good! Buy the donairs and cheesy bread here! You will not be disappointed! I will add that the people who work here are really nice people! They have been running this business for years and I've never had a problem. The service is great!

Been going here for years, probably over 5 years now. It was first owned by younger guys that had ambition and drive for the donairs they made. It was great then. Has gone down in hill in the past 2 - 3 years with the change of ownership. Does not wash hands and are filthy. Cashier licked his fingers to get papers, put unprotected hand and fingers in fry bag and also handled the donair. Also forgot to put onions into the donair, and when asked guy was argumentative. Will not go back.

The donairs are great!!!! We had the family deal for $28.95. It is 4 donairs, 4 pop and a large fry. The staff is super friendly and very efficient. The inside of the restaurant is also very clean. The menu has so many options. They have pizza, donairs and much more. (I included a picture of the menu!) I also got a container of Baklava dessert. They were absolutely delicious. I definitively recommend checking this place out if you love donairs! You won't be disappointed!

Ordered from Stadium for the first time and it was good food. The pizza had extra cheese like we asked for and the onion rings were fresh and crispy instead of being oily and greasy like so many other places. The fellow on the phone was very friendly and the gentleman that delivered our order was absolutely fantastic, cheery and personable.. We will definitely be trying more items from their menu. Once we do, I'm confident our rating will jump to 5 stars.

This is a great place for donair, the old owner was awesome and the new owner is too. They have decent sized portions with nice quality meat and service with a smile. They do not charge extra for sauce which sounds like a given but you'd be surprised when it comes to some other donair stores. The place is also clean, nothing fancy because it is fast food but i can't imagine ordering a donair at a 5star restaurant lol tldr; top notch place 9/10

Food was very good flavour of sauce and crust was very desirable. Customer service was better than a majority of expensive restaurants. The atmosphere was very positive for your standard take and go pizza joint. Prices where very competitive and value was good with the combo's or portions. Overall very impressed best experience with a restaurant in a long time will be my new regular place and as lots of options so that check them out for sure

I came here a few weeks before my friend in the area left for Quebec, I got a poutine from here, loved it, reminded of the old A-Field Mall donair place, then came by after work a few weeks later and had a donair. Everything was too my liking. Just enough spice on the meat, the sauce was sweet and it was nicely warmed.Only thing I had a problem with was how mushy the tomatoes were, other than that, it's a 10/10 place, would eat here again

Every time I order food it never gets delivered and when I contact the restaurant the male owner is usually arrogant and would refer me to Skip. It's merely impossible to get help from Skip the Dishes. It's hours of back and forth messages. Long story short I would not recommend anyone to order from this restaurant. Very poor customer service.

The best chicken donair in Edmonton 10/10 by far. The chicken donair meat is seasoned to perfection, I just love it. The chicken pizza is also very good, lots of cheese and meat. I love the way they steam the bread to melt the cheese and it make the bread soft. Always order your donair sauce on the side for delivery orders or the bread gets to soggy. The staff is very friendly and ready to serve.

You get what you pay for. I ordered pizza ($8), bacon cheese burger ($6), chicken+cheese donair ($8), chicken wings ($6). At that price you basically have to get sick to really complain. It's not great, but not bad either. Thankfully they aren't overcharging like so many other places that aren't any better. If the food quality/flavour/consistency improves, I'll change it to a 5/5.

I've been going to Stadium Donair for going on six years now. They've offered consistently good food over that time. I don't think I've ever been disappointed. Serving sizes are good, price is good, and the people I've interacted with at the store have always been good people. (Also they're on skip too, so it's still viable even if you don't live two blocks away like I do, haha)

There are 2 Donair shops in the city that stand out as being a notch above the rest and this is one of them... I don't know what it is that they do to spice their meat just a little differently... But I used to live right by here and moved to a new spot over 20kms away. I still find myself coming back. There is nothing like it. Best! Poutine's pretty on point, too. Good stuff...

Showed up at 10:30pm, a half hour before they closed. They turned away our business because they said were closed. We went across the street to McDonalds instead and on our way out, saw a Skip The Dishes driver walk out with food. Open sign was still on. Kinda adds insult to injury after they forgot to include my pop with the last order I placed with them. We won't be back.

So iv been here a couple of times for lunch cause i work in the area, today i payed 15$ for a chocolate milk and i thought was a large donair..... but it wasn't i dont think i will go back im gonna stick to what i know Donair Stop is one of the best places in Edmonton great portion and good price ..... sorry stadium Donair mayb in the future you may not wanna be so cheap...

Got a Donair pizza from here and it made me extremely sick. The pizza wasn't very good ether, barely any donair meat ( probably a good thing cause it got me sick) whole sliced tomatoes he didn't even bother to dice them. I have went here once before and the donair I had was good but that was over a year ago. Don't order there donair meat!!! I was on the toilet all day

Won't waste my time coming here anymore. Asked for cheese and was charged extra for it and didn't receive cheese on my donair. Employee lies to me when I phoned and said the cheese melted into the meat. I can tell there was no cheese. Won't be wasting any more money here. Customer service clearly lacking. Lost a loyal customer today. Admit your mistakes!

Ordered a medium pizza it came half raw .. had to re cook it It was tasteless ... the pepperoni was like small pieces of leather .. horrible I don't know but I feel like vegetables were all canned they were terrible. THERE WAS NO SAUCE on it either whats so ever I was extremely disappointed. They refused to replace or refund. Horrible experience.

Such a bad place to go they are dirty, they don't clean there hands, I ordered a pizza and he grabbed it with his hands I told no grab me another one without touching he starting trying to argue I told just grab my pizza without your hands, he said no your gonna have to just take this one so I asked for my money back. This is the best donair in the city based solely off how delicious the donairs taste. I always get a chicken cheese with GARLIC sauce. It is just so good and one of the few places that offer a garlic sauce. Been goijg here for 10 years and have never once had rude service or a sub quality donair. It is dangerous that they now deliver.

I just left there after ordering 2 donairs and fries there very freindly in person & there fpood is ok even after finding peaces of plastic rapper in one donair but just the thought of finding anything in my food was enough to turn my stomach i couldnt finish it and even after. 15 min i still feel nauseous (IM JUST SAYING).

The donairs were smaller in size & not anywhere near the amount of meat that we usually get - VERY disappointing! Onion rings we're supposed to be extra crisy & they were not. Another disappointment. Had a super donair with cheese and I was expecting it to be bigger considering what you get at other donair restaurants. Someone I was with got a combo with onion rings (costs and extra $6) and he was only give about 8 onion rings. The flavor of the donair was good, but portion sizes were too small.

Worst wings I've ever had, even my friend who's a wings lover didn't eat them...they got no flavor and looks so unprofessional as if it was just boiled then dipped in the fryer. my homemade wings are way better than this. I wasted my money buying them...donair was good though I'll give them that.

I just bought a extra large $40 Pizza That was supposed to have everything on it and even extra ingredients. It was the lightest pizza I've ever bought in my life and when I looked in it more than half of the pizza didn't have anything on it totally disappointed will never buy their again

Everyrime I go it's lunch time, but he's never open. His hours are all over the place. Show up at 1130am and he's not open. Very disappointing and waste of a drive. Overall the donairs are very good and very filling. Just disappointing with the off hours.

Cheap food, cheap meat used and way too expensive. Bought a burger with extra meat, that meat was cheapest of the cheap I'm not even sure if it was real beef it tasted like plastic. The Mcdonalds across the street is better and im not even a fan of that

Absolutely the worst food I’ve ever eaten in the city. Ordered on skip the dishes - got a poutine and a beef donair. Both were inedible. The donair was dry and had absolutely no sauce and the poutine had almost no cheese or gravy at all. More

Dont waste your time getting a small poutine for $6, waste of money. The portion was tiny! The gravy was ok but it could have been better if they didnt load the salt and pepper on top before serving it. I've been to better donair restaurants.

Always consistent. Am writing this review after several visits. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. The restaurant is old, tables chairs are old however still clean. They always wear gloves and the veggies are always fresh.

Stadium donair is a great place to stop for a quick quality meal. Consistently good food at a reasonable price. There was a temporary manager at the time of my last visit and she was top notch in customer service.

Don’t order skip. The store refuses to follow orders. Something as simple as a double mushroom cheeseburger is changed to a single cheeseburger without notice. And this was a place I used to love eating at

Ordered off skip. My husband had a donair, it was good. I ordered wings and fries. It was pretty good but I would watch when ordering off skip, they don't listen to modifications. It's happened twice now.
