Moved with these guys last year, still finding broken furniture, still missing expensive items, still waiting for our 500$ refund we were promised for a nearly $20k move from Roma qld to Melbourne Vic. They were aweful to deal with, kept ignoring us when we asked for assistance, took absolutely no responsibility for their own mistakes. They also over charged us as they claimed we lied about how many cubic meters we needed for the move. They even sent some workers who were charging by the hour to load the truck at 9 o'clock at night - which actively goes against their policy - whilst sitting on their phones watching videos (this was brought to the companies attention, they offered no apology). They also ended up damaging parts of our rental when carelessly moving furniture, which caused us to lose part of our bond. Our $4000 barbecue was crushed, thousands of dollars worth of hardware tools missing, thousands of dollars worth of interior furniture (lamps, coffee table, chest of drawers, bedside tables, bed frames) all broken, dented, chipped... honest to God, save your money and do the move yourself. They lied about the drop off date for our belongings, meaning we had to spend hundreds of dollars on accommodation just so we'd make it to our new house in time, just to then double back and tell us the original drop off date was correct, meaning we slept on hardwood floors for 2 nights. Saw absolutely no apologies for this. Given everything we went through with this move in May last year, we've considered contacting the ACCC that many times due to their unlawful business practices, but haven't due to the fact that we'd have no time to go to tribunal over it all. However I've now got a lot of time on my hands and will be pursuing this issue we had. Star city removals is fully aware of their unlawful business practices, and they refuse to acknowledge it in the hopes that the problem goes away. I urge you to not use this company, they have put us into debt over their horrible business management, and I'd honestly hate to see anyone else deal with this issue. I know moving companies can be stressful to deal with, but if I had of known I'd face this many issues, I would have honestly sold all my stuff and started fresh in Melbourne. They will no longer answer our calls, emails, etc. Good luck with your move if you do choose to use this company. I hope they treat you with more dignity than they afford their other customers. Absolute gutless wonders.

Don't be fooled by the google reviews. Initially, the sales staff were fantastic. However the day of the move is when it all turned pear shaped. I was moving from an apartment in Melbourne to a home in Adelaide. As well as a moving my business also. I requested the morning, as I was planning to travel to Adelaide once everything was collected. I was advised the day before that they would be arriving between 9am-12pm. At 10:30am I called to confirm an ETA, to which I was told there were truck problems and they now wouldn't be coming until 2-4pm now. I then called again closer to 2pm to confirm the times were still accurate, and someone else confirmed there weren't truck problems, but they had swapped the jobs around and mine was now the second for the day. They ended up arriving at 3:30pm and needed to be done at my apartment by 5pm due to body corporate rules. I was then receiving abuse from the truck driver stating that he wont be able to complete the job in this time frame, and he kept asking me if I even wanted him to begin. To which I said yes, as it needed to happen on this day. When they entered my apartment, the truck driver was angry and stated "you have so much s*%t here, there is at least 15m3". Also note I had booked and paid for 37m3. I had to help them move almost EVERYTHING from my apartment as they kept making it known how much 'stuff' I had and that they had time pressures. I also was told repeatedly "You don't know how much I busted my a$s to be here at this time" Which would not have been an issue if the truck arrived when it was meant to. Fast forward to the delivery which was all to my home in Adelaide. As soon as the driver arrived I was copping abuse as his truck was too high and was going to hit trees, which then started off this day on a bad note. I am the first to admit that it was a tough job, moving is hard and this is why I paid a LOT for this move. I appreciate the work the boys did, but I don't appreciate being made to feel the way I did. I thought I was using a reputable company that had the tools for the job, but clearly I was wrong. I feel like I paid over $5,000 to cop abuse and to do half of the move myself. I have never been made to feel so awful in my entire life. I hate to think what would have happened if it were an elderly person requiring this move. I would never use this company again.

Will wreck your furniture at least as well as your wallet. The person I booked the move with on the phone was already rude for trying to arrange a short notice move and being quite difficult to deal with, I should have seen this as a warning sign. They probably understood I was without many options and offered to "help" for $400 for just over an hour, you read that right, very opportunistic and unscrupulous practices (quote included 30min loading, 20min drive and 30min unloading, no more no less) The StarCity removals brutes didn't show up on time, actually when contacted on the phone we were told they would be no more than 3 hours late and would send us a message when they would be 1h away, we started the move on our own. Ultimate they were 5 hours late, and gave us 10 minutes notice so we were a the new location when they arrived and had to drive back while they were waiting. By the time they arrived there was almost nothing left to move, maybe 4-5 prices of furniture including a fridge which was probably the only thing we couldn't have moved on our own. Not only the 2 removalist took tremendous time to load a desk, gone for nearly 30 min, it's no special desk, we found them behind a door on ground level saying they were locked, ehhh how about ringing the bell or calling/messaging us instead of sitting? Eventually it came to the fridge and I'll let the picture speak for themselves, multiple dents, and some big ones! They also managed to disalign the doors, who knows how. Basically don't expect to find your furniture in nearly the same state you had them to the destination, it's really a moving from point A to point B service with complete disregard for the integrity of your belongings, for what they know my fridge could have arrived in a 100 spare parts it would have been the same. Anyway, here's the experience to expect, rude people to speak to, massive delays, slacking off staff to rack up the hourly rate and damaged good, all for the reaper deal of nearly $400 per hour, take your business elsewhere unless what you really want to book is a council clean up

Loading process was good with experienced movers as I arranged for an interstate move from NSW to ACT. Unloading process however was a disaster. 2 young movers who were slow and lack experience (stacking and moving items at the same time). Things were dropped during the move causing dent and damages to few items. Large scratch on my monitor (breaks my heart when i saw it) when i specifically asked for a shrink wrap, no idea what happen there. One of the movers got sick (due to vaccine as i was told) and stopped moving, leaving only one mover to move with only around 1 hours+ into the unloading process. Unloading process was estimated to be around 2hours, with one mover left the process is painfully slow causing a lot of trouble for me to cancel meetings and appointments on that day. Not blaming that worker who got sick (it happens), but the follow up of solving the problem. They told me a second team is coming 30mins after the worker is not feeling well. (Unloading start at 2pm, 3pm-ish worker not feeling well leaving only one worker, second team arrived at 6pm with everything pretty much settled). I helped doing the labor work as the move is painfully slow and i have to ensure i finish my move within the period of which i book the lift (2-6pm). When everything settled down, I called the admin requesting for claims on damaged items, as well as a partial refund on the service as i paid for 2movers (1 is sick during the move, i feel like it is a reasonable request). Admin straight out deny partial refund request without much discussion and told me to email them for claims. The move was on 2nd September 2021, as of current 20th September is still havent heard back from their email team about my claims even though i had sent multiple emails to ask for update. Experience overall: Unexpected accidents (sick/damage) is kind of normal during a move but the follow up service was terrible. Will update/change this review if there are positive changes from their part.

Do not use these guys! We booked with them for our move from Melbourne to Adelaide. The process leading up was good with Sam. Super responsive and made the process super easy. Came to the day of removals, James came with 2 young females. They did not look at what they were taking. Took no extra measures in ensuring our items were safe. the to young girls started out with my washing machine and dryer dragging it across my tiles with no care causing damage to my flooring. Then moved on to my fridge, as they taking it through the door they scratched the fridge onto the door, you can tell by the noise it was bad. They proceeded to the truck. Came back inside and asked “ if our fridge has always had scratches?” We stated no, as this fridge was brand new. receipts shown. James then proceeded to ask “is the fridge cheap” I stated absolutely not this fridge was from good guys and cost me over $3000 although it’s not any of his business. He then proceed to say it “must be cheap to scratch that quick and easy” . I was extremely disappointed at this point and asked them to stop the service and bring my products back inside. I called customer service and spoke to Wayne. He was super dismissive and spoke to me horribly. I enquired on the process next as I didn’t want them to continue, and explained my damage caused and he told me “if you don’t want them there, then I can’t help you” and I was calling on behalf of my house mate and I enquired on the refund process and I got the response “it’s not your money, it’s theres” I stated that it wasn’t the point on who’s money, it’s my furniture and I’m still upset on the money spent and the damage caused. I proceeded to ask about the process of a refund and Wayne kept telling me “it wasn’t his department”. “Stop wasting my time” and hung up on me. This could of all been avoided with the care of other people belongings and apologised for their damage instead of attempting to pretend it was already there.

AVOID AT ALL COST. I had the worst experience with them, I’ve been trying to reach out to their customer service for 10 days (e-mail and phone) without any answers so I have no other choice than publicly complain about them, which is not how I would normally solve this kind of issues. They took advantage of me being injured and a single woman. This is what happened in a nutshell: I was charged for a total of 6,5 hours for a small 1-bedroom apartment move, at a 10 minutes’ drive, and so many unprofessional behaviours and mistakes happened, as you can see from the list below: - One of the 2 removalists was extremely rude and unprofessional. - they damaged 3 pieces of furniture (see photos) - there were cigarette breaks which are counted in the time I have been charged. - one if the removalists used my toilets for 10 minutes without cleaning after himself so the toilets were very dirty, and some excrements were still floating in my cabinet. This was disgusting (I was also charged for this time) - They left the apartment I was moving from without telling me, even though the apartment was not empty (still 3 boxes to be picked), and they didn't dissemble the couch (because it was IKEA, this I can understand even though it had been done in the past). I had to rent a van the next day to get what was left (3 boxes and the couch). - one of the removalists became very rude and unprofessional, threatened to leave the remaining stuff in the driveway, as I very politely asked why they had left some boxes in the old place without letting me know. - they left a couples of items in my garage instead of bringing them in my apartment even though I had specifically asked for it to be brought upstairs as, being injured, I couldn’t do it myself. This was the most expensive and the most unprofessional removal experience I ever had, and even their customer service is inexistent.

When I initially called up, customer service was the best in comparison to other companies. Booking was fine, as soon as it came time and I asked for evidence for my car removal it was a NIGHTMARE, a little bit of constructive feedback would be if you’re going to work with a third party for vehicles, don’t make your customer get all the documentation. Have it with the removal quote in addition, especially when you’re the ones working with them to book it, should be common sense. My car collection was perfect, and arrived before scheduled due date! My furniture though was a completely different story! Collection was fine, I had a couple of guys from Sydney come down to Melbourne that were polite and packed everything great from what I could see, I was told my furniture would spend a couple of nights in Sydney before making its way to Brisbane, they had great communication so I was hoping the same would happen in Brisbane. When my furniture arrived, I had water damage on my chest of drawers that is now totally unusable, I have a desk that was not handled correctly and instead pushed against the floor therefore causing the wood to completely split and is also unusable, to top it off my bed and desk both have dents and marks and the furniture is only 6 months old if that! I sent them all the evidence, just for them to tell me the best they could do is $250… which in this day and age won’t even compensate for a single piece of furniture. Highly recommend going with a different place, this place is not worth the low cost. My one star goes to the guys from Sydney.

Stay away from this company, don’t be drawn in by a cheaper quote.. we initially spoke to Wayne and felt confident that a good service would be provided. how wrong we were. We were told Silas was the best removalist they had.. because of a change in collection time we had to leave them to it, we were told this was common and done all the time . We had our belongings delivered to storage and have only just got back to them after 4 months. Only 1 of 3 mattresses was plastic wrapped, the promise was all soft coverings would be plastic wrapped, so consequently 2 were ruined, they were left directly on the concrete floor with nothing under them. The sides of both had been scrapped and stained. Our fabric 6 seater couch was treated the same way. Stained scrapped and the 2 bases were stood sideways directly on the concrete floor. This was also completely ruined. If they’d have been plastic wrapped as promised they would have been fine. Our twin door fridge has a large crack in the back and several dings in the front, possibly dropped! We were also told we were way over the quoted size so therefore charged $2000 above the quote.. The lack of respect for our property was unbelievable. Our mistake was in not being there to supervise the collection, we would have been if they didn’t bump back the time by 5 hours.. we should also have been here for the drop off, not that much could be done because they make you pay before drop of. Shame on this company!!

Don’t ever use this company, and don’t be fooled by the google reviews. Company turned up 8 hrs late with no communication. You try call the phone number and you get a lady that says, what’s your name, number and message ? Then no calls back after. I called 3 times to find out where our truck is and still the same thing was said by the lady. She knows nothing about the bookings or the trucks status. So was no help. Truck got there and was full from the last pick up. No way was it fitting all our stuff. Guys that came to pack the truck were lovely, but they had no help from any of the bosses on what to do. The fellows that came said they would try help us get out deposit back as it wasn’t our fault the last job was over packed. Called the company to get the deposit back and they said no, as they offered to take some of our stuff and come back 3 days later with another truck. We had to be out of our house by the time the other truck was coming. Also wasn’t comfortable our stuff going in 2 different trucks at 2 different times. (These trucks are shared trucks with everyone else’s stuff with no type of separation - just throw it all in and hope you get all your stuff out the other side). Very poor management in this company.

I recently used a removal company to move from Peregian Springs on the Sunshine Coast to Dee Why in Sydney, and I have to say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. From start to finish, their team was professional, courteous, and efficient. The communication leading up to the move was excellent, with regular updates and reminders to ensure everything was on track. On the day of the move, the team arrived promptly and got straight to work, carefully packing and loading my belongings onto their truck. Despite some unexpected challenges on the road, the team kept me informed and worked tirelessly to get everything delivered safely and on time. I was particularly impressed with how they handled some fragile items, taking extra care to ensure they were well-protected and arrived in one piece. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this removal company. They made what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience into a seamless and stress-free one. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a removal service!!!!! Five stars for the sales team and the removals!!!!

BEWARE! The most stressful and expensive move I have ever experienced!! I requested a date for my move and was provided with a written quotation confirming the date and cost. After I paid my removal costs in full, I contacted Star City to confirm the pick up time only to be told that my move date had been rescheduled!! No one from the company had contacted me to discuss this and even more disappointing, there were no apologies nor any accountability taken for the date changes which speaks for itself!! As a result, I incurred additional storage fees!! Star City Removals use contractors to move your furniture. Once my belongings were on the truck, I then received ANOTHER INVOICE from Star City Removals demanding payment stating "Unpaid invoices result in undelivered goods and additional storage/delayed drop off fees will apply". Allegedly they had failed to provide an accurate quotation initially and had decided to charge significant additional fees before I would receive my furniture. How disgraceful and deceitful!!! The conduct of Star City Removals was unprofessional, rude and unethical.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Arrived late picking up my goods not until 7PM and then expected us to be at the drop off which is 8 hours away by lunch the next day. When my bed arrived the head board was broken as they didn’t dissemble it completely which this service was meant to be included in the price, the broken pieces were not returned to us to try fix. The removalist directed me to their claims department as insurance was also included in the price. Claims department took 8 weeks to come to an outcome which was very unreasonable. When asked how they came to the amount as we disagreed there was no response (if the amount was based on a repairer that would of been okay we just wanted to know where the price came from as we couldn’t find anything close to it ourselves). 4 weeks later I requested contact details for the complaints department as I had no response, to now a further 3 weeks later and still no response and no final outcome of claim. Worst service from any company I have ever received, would never recommend.

I have recently had issues with Statesman removals but since having these issues and getting 0 responses I have noticed that their website redirects to Star City Removals so I can only assume they have rebranded. Do not use these movers. They didn’t plastic wrap our mattress as was agreed in the paid services and the mattress is now ruined and they are not responding to any of our attempts to contact them. I also want to add that they called us the day of the move to let us know that they wouldn’t be able to come until the next day due to weather (completely understandable) but then we received a call the next Morning when they were meant to already be at our unit and we were told that they had slept in and just woke up and haven’t left yet. We have a case now with NSW Fair Trading and I have notified our case manager that the website and address for the original company we used has now transferred to this company.

Sam and Freddy are legend!!! Definitely 10/10!!!I booked from Star City for my interstate move from Melbourne to Canberra during Melbourne Covid lockdown 4.0, I were so nervous about moving everything from one state to another as this was my first time using them. The whole process was very smooth without any hassles. Sam and Freddy were super helpful, fast, professional and all round legends from start to finish. Last but not least they both come early and complete the loading within 1 hour and only takes them half hour to unload all the furniture. From my first quote to end it was super easy. The biggest bonus is that not a single thing turned up broken after a long drive!! Definitely 10/10 recommendation!!! Thank you so much Sam and Freddy, you guys are SUPER! I would definitely recommend to anyone and will sure to use Star City Removal in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I made this mistake… I moved from Melbourne to northern NSW. Not only did they pick up my belongings a day early with only 12 hours notice, but they also delivered a day early without my being there to receive the goods. They dropped it off at 9pm into my garage despite telling me my goods will be delivered upstairs into the appropriate rooms. There was no shrink wrapping as they say on their website, and very poorly blanket wrapped in the truck. My furniture was damaged, and the attitude of the office staff when telling them of how upset I was, dismissed me saying that my goods were delivered to the property and ended hanging up on me. Very unprofessional, rude and dishonest!! I also received someone else’s bags and am also missing some of my goods. Will definitely be taking this further!!

After cancelling on the original pickup day at 5pm the day prior, the organised truck was delayed 24 hours. I received a time frame the next day for truck to pick up my belongings, but not until called them to chase up as they had not sent the message with a time prior to 3pm as they had stated. On the second day, the truck did not turn up at all, there was no communication that it wasn't coming and no way of contacting the company. They use an agency as a triage who has zero contact with the company to resolve these sorts of issues. Every single person I spoke to over a span of 6 hours (at least 5 different people) didn't even have a single contact name for StarCity Removals. This has been the worst service I have received from any company in any capacity - ever. I would give zero stars if could.

I moved from the Central Coast (NSW) to Adelaide (SA) mid December 2022. Benny and Joe came to pick up everything and were super lovely, very chatty and funny! They came spot on time and made room for all my stuff. Everything was packed really well, so that I didn't have any breakages on the other end (I was incredibly surprised being such a long journey). I was expecting a little damage to furniture and maybe some breakages, however everything was dropped off in the same condition i left it in. They unpacked everything quickly on the other end, put everything in each room and off they went. I highly recommend these guys (both StarCity & Benny and Joe)! They were absolutely awesome!!

Rob and Josh have moved me twice (from rural to the city and vice versa) and if I could give 100 stars I would. Both SO lovely to deal with, accomodating, careful, communicative and just so great at what they do! Huge thank you to both boys for getting the job done efficiently and quickly. Absolute top blokes, could not be more grateful. Small hiccup was at head office’s end, I was told that the boys knew my electricity wouldn’t be on when they delivered my furniture, but they actually hadn’t been told that no lights would be on… despite this they soldiered on and did an excellent job with a smile. Can’t thank you enough for making something so stressful SUCH an easy time for me.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the 2 gentlemen that delivers my furniture from Sydney to QLD. The entire process was so smooth. Sam in the office was very responsive to all of my email (sorry for also the questions Sam). The 2 gentlemen; Benny and Joey were simply awesome! They arrived in time. They were professional and friendly. They loaded their truck with ease. They then gave me an arrival time for QLD and once again they’re were on time. Not one item was damaged nor was my house. Benny and Joey, thank you so much for all your hard work you guys were unreal! I recommend this company to anyone thinking of moving interstate (ask for Benny and Joey) :)

Moved interstate in June 2022, items got broken and damaged, got someone elses items and I am missing boxes. Free wrapping never happened, holes in both houses from them moving to which I had to pay to get fixed, light items were on the bottom of heavy boxes, bags just thrown into a pile. Even my items were open. Tried for a claim after nearly spending $5K on this move and they offered me a lousy $300 to which I declined and asked for an increase and now there is no response from them at all. First time using a removalists, always had my doubts, never again will I use this company. Quick to take money but won't give it back nor have respect for the belongings.

We would like to recommend Star City Removals, we had a mid distance removal from Newcastle to Sussex Inlet on the south coast, the men arrived promptly with a call before hand to say that they were almost at our home. They packed up our house with a minimum of fuss and were polite and courteous. They then had a 4.5 hour drive to our new home, unpacked the truck and placed all furniture to where it was directed. We were extremely impressed with the professional quality and we would personally like to thank Rex and the boys for such hard work. We would definitely use this company if the need arises again. Benny and Joe did an amazing job and were awesome to deal with! They made the move from ACT to VIC so much easier. The scheduling was not so good. Booked for Friday and paid the deposit to then be told Friday isn’t actually available. As I needed to catch a flight Saturday I asked what time the removalist would arrive and was told 11-12 would be the approximate time of arrival. Then told 4-6pm the day before and then no response. It’s easier just not to lie from the start and work with the actual time instead of trying to secure customers. Overall Benny and Joe were great and the scheduling seriously let’s the whole team down.

Love and Raman were really efficient with removing everything off of the truck and into designated area assigned to them. Had a few problems with damaged goods prior to these two moving due to being stored and loaded numerous times after being denied entry into the border. Took a bit over two months to finally get my furniture back so keen to finally have a bed and furniture. Found few things are missing with one of my beds that weren’t on the truck here to Adelaide. Assuming lost between trucks and storage. Hope something will be helped with my damaged furniture as my desk was brand new and it’s now unusable.

Moved from a country town in South Australia to the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Good communication with the office staff and Micheal and Hakan, the moving guys, were wonderful. Micheal and Hakan were very careful with all my items and cleverly arranged everything to fit in the space available. They packed the van and then repacked all the items into my self storage unit. Very professional and courteous and I will definitely get them to move my items from the storage unit to my new home when it is ready. Good pricing and great value - less than some other moving quotes I had received.

The Communication with this company after the point of sale is non existent. After an initial reasonable quote, they added extra costs to over double. Had the wrong gear to load so only took part then sent another truck. Inexperienced drivers made it painful to watch. The subbies that ended up delivering were great but this company works under a number of trade names and seem to have a churn and burn attitude. They know how to quote then the know how to add the extras. Rough as guts.

Undertook an interstate move, Canberra to tweed, the office contacted me to advise they could arrive a day earlier which suited me, the guys Jason contacted me the morning of the move to advise when they would arrive. Moved my stuff in to the van quick and without fuss! On the other end they messaged in the morning to see if I could do an early morning del overt and were happy to wait around while I moved some bits about. All in all a great service! Would recommend for sure!

I had the most amazing team of Mele, Paige and James. Their attention to detail and care with my belongs was first class. The Team even went to the care to carefully place items down in the new house not to damage the floor. If you’re lucky enough to get this team, you are in good hands. The head office communication sometimes was lacking, it would have been good to have a confirmation email of times / locations to ensure more efficient delivery. Thanks for your service.

I made an online enquiry and Star City Removals were the first ones to reply and help us out. Verity, in the head office was wonderful. They gave a reasonable price and were willing to work with us after we changed to load size. James and Luke arrived on time and were very professional and understanding about the stress we were under. Moving is always difficult but Star City, Verity and Luke and James made everything easy. We would highly recommend their service.

Sylas and his copilot on the pickup; and Chris and Buggy on the dropoff were awesome, couldn't have asked for more from them. I found it quite difficult to talk to head office through their messaging service, and it was pretty frustrating to be told 6 hours after trying to get through that they would take my name and number again and get back to me. Overall all my stuff arrived no harm no foul, but would appreciate better communication from head office.

Lost in Transit The truck didn’t arrive on the assigned day and when enquiring with the office the girl couldn’t find where they were. The night before it arrived I received a sms message to say they would be between 9-11am. The guys arrived at 9.05am moved the items very quickly and efficiently. There were some heavy items and the strength of one guy was amazing. I would give these guys a second chance especially when they are back filling. Robert

Moved Sydney to Melbourne and have been disappointed with my service, was quoted with free shrink wrapping for ALL soft furnishings, however, my items were not wrapped upon delivery and now have damaged a brand new expensive cream lounge, my mattress and treated my belongings awfully. On top of this made me pay additional $200 and threatened me to not drop off my stuff If I did not pay. I would avoid these guys.

Jason and Jeff were fantastic and friendly guys. The service was incredible. They moved my special canoe (outrigger) which is very special to me. They wrapped my canoe with loads of pads which makes me feel very pleased that my canoe was well looked after during the transition. Great communication from Jason regarding time and eta. Hardly recommended these two boys. Very happy Client

Troy and Alex were absolutely amazing. I have never met two men who are better at their jobs, they were so friendly, so efficient and so respectful of my belongings. I was very nervous about making a big move from QLD to SA but Troy noticed how nervous I was and took the time to chat with me to calm me down. If I ever move interstate again I will 100% be requesting these two men.

My daughter was transferring her belongings from Sydney back to Melbourne a few months ago. It was a pleasant surprise to encounter Paige and Mele and they were helpful and delightful young ladies. Sam, in the head office was super helpful and gave us a reasonable price and were willing to work with us after we changed to load size and end location. Recently did an interstate move and used Star City to get our furniture across. No issues bar the loss of a piece of our vacuum but we did pack it loose so probably not unsurprising. Loading was smoothly and James, Daniel and Moehau did an awesome job unloading in the heat. Overall good communication and competitive pricing.

I had a number of items missing as my furniture went to storage I was told I should have read the t&c that I needed to check my inventory within a week. It beggars belief that they do not take responsibility when I didn't even share the truck. Do not engage this company. Very unprofessional service

Do not use star city!!! They will break your goods and then not reply to you when you try to make a claim! We moved with them 2 weeks ago and they broke our TV. Since then they have dodged our phone calls and emails repeatedly when confronted about our broken television.

Poor service experience.... items were damaged during the move and we were told that their insurance would cover it. It's been 2 months since we sent a claim for the items and received no response to date.
