I recently found Stephanie after countless months (and $$$ spent) on looking for a new stylist after mine decided not to return to work after maternity leave. I have thick, curly hair that can be difficult to work with at times, especially being a highlighted blonde. Over the past year, I have gone to bougee salons thinking that they could get the colour right, but I was always disappointed with the outcome, as well as my draining bank account. Stephanie was recommended by a good friend of mine, who also happens to work out of the salon as an eyebrow technician (who is incredible...check her out). I walked into the salon, which is small by comparison to others I had been to, but really had a warm feel to it. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. Stephanie took the time to look over my hair and get an idea of what I was looking to achieve. She explained that it may take a few visits to correct what had already been done, which I completely understood. To have the perfect blonde, patience is a must. Stephanie was quick, but thorough while applying the highlights, and so knowledgeable about hair types and how to achieve the colour I was looking for. I had complete trust in her, while she explained what likely went wrong in the past. When it was finally time for the reveal…I couldn’t believe what I saw! It was the first time in years that I had my highlights done and was happy with the result! There was no correcting to be done, no follow up appointments to correct a tone, just beautifully highlighted blonde hair! I was disappointed it took me so long to find Stevie P’s! I spent the whole ride home, checking myself out in the rear-view mirror….and received countless compliments on my hair the next day at the office. I will DEFINITELY be going back! I had an appointment with Cindy to reperm/fix a perm I had before. She was amazing, she looked at my hair closely and asked me a lot of questions. It was my first perm, and I didn't know how to keep my curls with my light hair. First she talked me out of getting another one, and rightfully so, it was just 5 weeks ago. Instead, she did a special bond thing(I should listen better) 2 step with some over the head dry action of deep conditioners. After, she then taught me how to style the type of hair I have. And wow, did I learn so much. Plus, product that is for exactly what I need! Cindy, I may have seemed quiet leaving, because I was really overwhelmed and happy. I really love my hair all curly and it's now so healthy and bouncy. Thank you so much! I love this place. I love my hair. It was a really fulfilling experience.

I've been to hair salons all over Toronto. I've never come across someone who's able to nail the colour I want as much as Steph. As someone with dark hair I've always struggled with getting the right colour after bleaching, with my hair often coming out either too brassy or overtly toned. Steph nailed the colour on the first try and I've been going there since. My colour has stayed looking fresh for the past year with zero upkeep, zero purple shampoo, or toning. Steph is an absolute GEM. I've been complimented by many stylists while getting my hair done for weddings about the colour and where I get it done. I cannot recommend this place enough! I don't even live in the area anymore and go out of my way to go to this salon because they're the only people I trust with my colour!

Unfortunately I did not get the result I wanted. I showed a photo of the look I wanted, I specified that I would like my hair slightly layered (long layers), and that I hate having any hair in my face (ie bangs or hair that I'm not able tuck behind my ears). I ended up with a straight cut (no layers) and bangs. The bangs are uneven, too short, not blended at all with the rest of my hair, fall on my face and I'm not able to tuck them behind my ears. I paid 60 for the haircut which was a reasonable price but I could've gotten this cut anywhere else. Overall the staff members are nice and make you feel comfortable. Unfortunately my experience with my hair cut was not up to par. Edit: I got a follow up phone call which I appreciated - shows that they care for their customers.

Stephanie, thank out so much for cuting my daughter Zoe's hair last Thursday. She enjoyed the process very much and love the haircut. The layer is pretty and style is easy to manage. We really appreciate you took extra mile to curl her hair. She kept it for 3 days because she loves it so much. And she even learned hair wash techniques from you to wash her own hair using the circle motion:P She already asked to bring her back next time she needs haircut. I guess mommy hairdresser had to retire now. Thank you again.

I was able to get a cut on super short notice. I called ahead and was told if I could be on my way, there would be someone available. I ran out of the salon that I was sitting in for 30 mins and got there roughly 20 mins later. A hairdresser was ready to cut right away. She listened to what I wanted. I had a pic, but we still talked it out. She took her time cutting my hair. I asked for a bob and it looks great. Store is nice and clean. The vibe is nice and workers are friendly. Great first time experience!

Just WOW!! I would have been rated 5 start; ONLY REASON it's not is because Stevie is SO GOOD, that she is way too busy!! NOT a bad thing at all, except sometimes when I want my hair done, I don't want to wait, so it's my impulses that I have to control, or I MUST learn to plan further ahead. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Stevie; her color craft is amazing. I'll continue to go to this place until...... I'm OLD, so that may not be for too long, but I sure hope so.

Marisol and Stephanie worked together to save my hair after a very bad experience with another hair dresser. I continued to see Marisol every 6 weeks for color and tone (platnium blonde) until I moved out of the area. My hair visibily improved in color and texture. My hair also became healthier with every visit. Im so grateful for the referral from a friend. Prices are decent and they are great with blondes which is hard to find!

I wanted to write this review in case you are making the same mistake I made and trying to decide on a salon based on their google reviews. The hair cut I got was something you can actually cut at home yourself, and I can assure you would certainly have better results and also avoid having their filthy brushes going through your hair. It was such a waste of time and money!
