I really like the practice and how they run it to make it personalised to you. First, when you join, Michelle (lovely) will do a consultation with you to find out what you are looking for, and what treatments you might need. After, you will have another appointment to go through the results and any treatment will be booked in. I think this makes them stand out against other dental surgeries, as all the ones I have previously seen just tell you what you need and will only tell you about services, eg whitening, if you ask. Other surgeries just seem to want you in and out as quick as possible. Whereas here, they ensure from day one that you are in charge of your smile and really seem to care . I needed a crown which was done by Paul, very nice and talks you through everything, and then a hygiene appointment with Rachel who was nice and gave me some good tips. Everyone is very accommodating and kind including nurses/reception, for example I prefer to have all treatment done in one day so they managed to coordinate it all for me.

Highly recommend this practice and the excellent team! This past year, I have needed extensive dental work while also dealing with a complex medical condition. I have been so impressed by the level of professionalism, care and attention paid to the complexities of my condition and treatment. I initially saw Howard who provided comprehensive information with warmth and consideration. As implants were required as part of the treatment, I was treated then by Paul Wilson. Paul and Michelle patiently and thoroughly went through the treatment plan and associated costs ensuring I fully understood and could make an informed decision. Throughout the treatment, despite hiccups (due to my medical condition), they provided such immense support and communication. Nothing was too much trouble. The treatment was exemplary and I am thrilled with the results! Also, many thanks to Rachel for providing so much advice on maintaining proper dental care. For the first time in my life, I am genuinely relaxed about going to the dentist!

I was recommended your practice 25 years ago and although I have now moved I still go back regularly - I would not trust another practice to look after my teeth as they are so caring and explain every thing they are doing which is so helpful when you have your mouth open and are unable to find out what they are doing. They use the latest equipment and I feel confident they will do a good job. Rachel looks after my teeth regularly and has saved my gums from infection and Paul works his magic on replacing broken teeth with the latest technology, and no pain! You always get a very pleasant greeting from the Receptionists which puts you at ease. Who would want any better care and attention from a Dental Centre!

After many many years of dentist anxiety and avoidance, a broken tooth meant a needed trip. Phoning Stoke Bishop dental practice and speaking with Michelle was a game changer. Being encouraged to talk about how nervous I was and the time she spent to understand was so appreciated. A nervous check up visit followed and Michelle introduces me to Paul who took time and care to talk everything through and relax me with great conversation. An extraction, filling and crown followed done under sedation with Paul and Michelle there every step of the way and me being in control of what and when things would happen. I can’t begin to thank both of them enough and I will definitely be returning.

Dr Greeves provided me with another 5* treatment recently. Specifically what makes treatments with Dr Greeves so excellent from a patients perspective is his strong focus around patient care, which is exemplary. From the moment you walk into the surgery he makes you feel at ease and explains in detail treatments that are options for you specifically. As a patient this gives you a sense of ownership of your treatment as Dr Greeves is able to articulate clearly the advantages and disadvantages of the each treatment option available. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending his services to a family, friends or colleagues.

I visited on 24th Aug, 2022 for treatment in sedation. I had IV sedation treatment before in Europe, and I was really glad I found Stoke Bishop Dental Centre; but was still nervous about if it still be the same good experience. I've been coming to Stoke Bishop Dental Centre for years. I've had various treatments throughout the years but very recently had an implant and I can honestly say that Paul (dentist) and Emily (nurse) were fantastic. I had absolutely no pain after the procedure and it's all healing really well. I have never enjoyed coming to the dentist, in fact I think you could say I'm naturally nervous - but Stoke Bishop Dental Centre and all the people that work there have been absolutely fabulous from the kind and courteous reception to the follow up after care. Definitely 5 stars.

Braces with the Stoke Bishop Dental Centre Practice. Today was the day I finally had my invisalign braces removed. I want to say a big thank you to the amazing dentist Jay and her nurse Chelsea for the journey. I have been debating having braces for a number of years prior beginning my treatment with Jay. Flo and Howard are honestly just lovely, the fact they can make me laugh when I’m so close to tears is just amazing. They both have so much patience with me knowing I’m so nervous and after probably the most brutal extraction of a wisdom tooth I think we’ve all experienced they still make me laugh about it. Fabulous practice. We followed Charlotte here, she is simply the best dentist anyone could wish for. Calm, reassuring, kind and totally professional. I have now just finished a course of treatment and as I am 50 I really thought my teeth were beyond help! But after a thorough assessment and plan which I could talk through with the team at each step of the way, I started the plan which took nearly 18 months. But really really pleased with the result! She explained all the cost and breakdowns and went above and beyond to help me find a solution and appointment for my dental requirements and even followed up the next day after I had to cancel my appointment. Howard Greaves is quite possibly the kindest and most gentle dentist you will ever find. He is so patient and very understanding of nervous and phobic people.
