Streetsville library is right next to the bus stop, opposite subway and Tim Hortons (and other eateries) so pretty good location if you want to read and grab a bite. The staff is helpful and friendly. Always keen to help and one of them helped me out of a fine situation which wasn't my fault really because I didn't know the rules as a newcomer. Catalogues and self checkouts are user friendly and accessible. The basement is the best bit with all the kids books and a room where all year round events take place, it's also available for rent if not occupied otherwise. I'm not sure if the library has a disable friendly entrance because the main entrance and the drop box is next to stairs, no ramps at the front. The library does have disabled parking though. There's space for you to sit and read quietly, there are computers to use for research, they have book clubs and other activities for kids year round, and an adult connect program too. Also love the $1 books available for purchase next to the main entrance, bought some for my mom and home decor purposes! The library is currently open, you have to wear a mask to enter, and you have to follow their safety rules including social distancing and not staying for more than an hour.
The staff can be very helpful if you are willing to ask. Cute quiet location . Still can navigate my way around there because it's the same layout from when I was a child . A nostalgic feeling ! They have printing but only black ink which could use an upgrade. Don't forget you can even rent movies, cds, magazines, games all from the library also ! They sell their used items for a very affordable price by the front door when they make more space for new books( good for kids with book reports, can get books for under $1) or adults . I recently got the book of negros in great condition for only $1!!!! They also offer drop in activities for children and even a computer skills class on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons for older generations wanting to learn how to use modern technology and basic computer skills. A great quiet place to get work done or take your kids! There is also a small park beside the building where you can let your children play after
Gem of a little library. Daughter and I come here to study/work one every month or two. Lovely. Staff quiet and helpful. Sad to see they were pushing the bizarre degenerate progressiveness on our children with large easel advertising "Drag Queen Children Storytime". Almost couldn't believe it. Very saddening. I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my kids here if they were still small as a result.
The library used to be very good before, but has deteriorated now. The wifi is very poor even though its a very small library. The staff are very stuck up and rude, there are some really rude people who don't even give you a smile. Also there are some book helpers, who don't seem to know anything even though you ask them a question and just keep stacking books like zombies.
The staff are to noisy in the library. Its annoying when you need a quite place to study. One staff playing something on her phone in the basement which is part of the library is not reasonable. Staff should think of people who have left the comfort of their home due to few reasons and are in the library for a quite place to review.
It would be nice if there was a sign outside to advise us how to get a movie. I have been trying to get one all summer Also trying to get searching movies through my sign in thru oshawa library l cant navigate the system to lrt me order a movie in streetsville. Please help me if you are able.
A well stocked library with a lot of options in books, magazines as well as DVDs. They also have computers for internet access and printing services. Staff is extremely polite and helpful and all social distancing guidelines are followed diligently
This library is small but has sufficient tables/study carrels located near numerous outlets so you don’t have to worry about where to charge your electronics. Lots of natural sunlight during the day and very bright at night, very conducive
Ideal for a quick visit to print, scan and photocopy documents. Like all other Mississauga libraries, you can borrow books and place a hold for pickup of new titles or titles in other locations.
Library is well maintained and lot of books over there. The library is surrounded with a children’s park and greenery. Parking spaces are available behind the library. #ParkExplorer
I went there every single day of the semester and it was great! Very quiet and peaceful place to study. The librarians are very nice. ♡♡♡
I went there to apply for a new library card. They were very friendly, helped me to get a new library card within minutes. Great support
Love the staff, location and the environment. Visit this place every week to return happy and satisfied . Thanks Guys …
Small but decent spot. The front desk staff is fairly cold and unhelpful though. Two levels: lower for kids and upper for adults.
I love to come here as the staff are very friendly and it's not really busy. The study area is well maintained and really quiet.
Friendly staff who are very passionate, patient, and understanding yet slow and small book selection yet they can very helpful
Nice library, small but very clean and easy to navigate, and has some great quiet areas where you can relax and read
They have amazing books for my kids and they have amazing books for me also the DVD,CD s are kids appropriate
So much noise and nobody takes care of noise level. Users are disturbed all the time by noise.

Amna is the best librarian ever! She's created a fun and safe place for all ages.
