Doctor Sunbury, is a total gem amongst all veterinarians! I have had multiple vets in the past for my Great Dane trying to find the perfect fit. Most of which were scared of him on site because of his size. Doctor Sunbury was one of the first vets that actually fully physically examined him and wasn’t afraid to do so. There isn’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to Doctor Sunbury & his team. The best thing I could say is “Go see him!” My boy was born with Cryptorchidism a condition….In short requires a special surgery not all vets are comfortable performing. Many vets once finding out were quick to refer me out to a special surgery center. Doctor Sunbury however, did not and was determined he could correct the issue at hand even given that my boy was a special case amongst most cryptorchid patients. Doctor Sunbury was extraordinary in performing my boys life preserving surgery and it was a success! My heart goes out to Doctor Sunbury & his team! Doctor Sunbury is exceptional, takes his time, & is extremely informative with any issues or concerns at hand with your loving fur baby. Take my word for it you won’t need to search any further for that perfect vet experience, pay him a visit Doctor Sunbury is it!

The best animal health provider that I have ever taken my cats to. The location is easy to find, the clinic is nice and bright and extremely squeaky clean (no wet dog smell! How does anyone manage that?) The front desk staff are very professional, efficient, helpful, and just sincerely sweet. The vet techs are so gentle and caring when handling the cats, and very thorough with both their questions and information they give you. The vets are seriously top notch: great bedside manner, they talk you through what they’re doing as they check your pet, and listen to everything you say very attentively and address all your concerns promptly, they took their time with the pets and the owner (I never felt rushed like I have in other clinics), and they did not push any product on me (which is so rare tbh). I was treated with the utmost respect, and my cats like royalty. Checkout process was quick and painless, and all the prices were fair (trust me, I’ve been overpaying for vet care for years.) Going to the vet has become an extremely pleasant experience for all and I am so grateful to everyone at Sunbury.

I have adopted 5 senior dachshunds over the past 15 years and Sunbury Veterinary has taken care of their remaining lives. Every vet there loves my dogs like family including me! Their shared knowledge has helped me grow as a good mama for my "babies". They continue to be helpful with unusual situations by doing computer research while I'm there by sharing educational pictures to help me understand illnesses. I am so impressed with them that I don't think there is a better clinic anywhere. It is unusual for me to be impressed with the front desk workers. Sunbury personnel have taken care of my schedules and medicine needs without mistakes. They work closely with the doctors. Over the years they have assisted rescue organizations with questions about the care I have given my dachshunds. Without them I wouldn't have been able to adopt the high quality seniors who are now my family. Thank you for loving your occupations, my doggie family and myself.

Not to sound cheesy, but the vets and staff at Sunbury Vet Clinic saved my cat's life. Literally within a day, he went from being in great health to vomiting/not eating or drinking. I was able to get him an appointment the next morning and thanks to that, they were able to quickly determine his kidneys were failing. Now my little guy is 14 years old, so I thought for sure this was the end for him. But I followed their instructions and gave him all the meds and shots he needed (shout out to the staff for their patience in showing me how to give subcu fluids at home!). And slowly but surely, over the next couple weeks, my boy improved. This all happened back in April. If you were to look at him now, you'd have no idea that he was on death's door a few months ago. Instead, he just hit 15 years old. I don't know how much longer he's going to live, but thank you Sunbury Vet Clinic so much, for giving me this extra time with him.

Zero stars if possible. I used the website to attempt to schedule a first-time visit. I received an email with a 4-hour time window for the day in question, with a message saying the office would follow up to confirm the actual time. No confirmation ever came. So I called intending to see where the issue was and re-schedule the appointment. While I was talking with the receptionist, she cut me off by asking, 'Did you need to schedule something or not?'. I started to respond, when she said, 'Okay, whatever...' and then proceeded to hang the phone up on me in the middle of my sentence. I would not trust this office with dogs' collars, let alone my dogs.

My family has gone to this office and even followed them from their previous location. They are always so kind, and see our pets as family instead of just animals. We recently had my moms boy Rusty put to sleep due to kidney failure, everyone was so compassionate, and made sure he was able to die with dignity. They allowed my mom to be in control and allowed her the time she needed to say goodbye to our dear loved one. This is an extremely difficult thing for anyone to have to do, but to have people who are empathetic to that, makes it a little less stressful to know that our boy was in good hands. You guys are angels. I cannot thank you enough.

I came from another clinic where staff went through appointments as quickly as possible, paid very little attention to any health matter besides shots, and on a scary day last year refused to see my dog during normal business hours when he was vomiting blood. It wouldn't be altogether difficult to beat that experience! BUT Sunbury went above and beyond. Both the assistant and vet were kind, interested in Chuy and his health, and spent plenty of time getting to know my concerns for him and offering suggestions for health supplements that could benefit him. I'm very thankful to have found y'all and will not be going elsewhere again!

We were recommended to Dr. Sunbury's through a facebook group and SOOO happy we took our Wallace there. Everyone in the staff was so helpful and really took their time with Wallace and answering all of our concerns and questions. We didn't feel rushed and Wallace was very well taken care of. They helped us understand the different medications and helped us to make a good decision about which one to give our dog. And then, they followed up with the next day to make sure Wallace was still doing fine. We're happy knowing that our vet cares about our dog and he's in good hands if we ever get in a fix.

We recently switched over to Sunbury vet after multiple negative experiences with other vets in Austin, and so far, we are incredibly happy with our new vet! From the helpfulness of the front desk/admin staff on the phone, to the ability to prioritize getting sick pets in quickly for care, to the level of care we've received from the 2 different doctors we've seen, we are so happy with our decision to switch to Sunbury! There's something to be said for an independent vet that hasn't sold out, and that's evidenced in the standard of care we've experienced with this practice!

My family has been taking our animals to Sunbury Veterinary clinic for over 10 years now! The front office staff, the techs and the veterinarians here are so amazing. They know all my animals (we have a lot) with all their individual issues and understand what their needs are. It's incredibly reassuring to bring my dog in (who has chronic renal issues) and know every time that Dr. Campbell remembers her history, her different meds and tests we've done, and what we need to do next. Even though we moved further away we will continue using Sunbury Vet Clinic for years to come!

I have been really impressed with my experience so far with Sunbury Veterinary Clinic. They are extremely organized (I never have to repeat anything and they always remember the questions or requests that I have even if multiple people are involved), are always on time and overall one of the best vets I have ever been to. Their prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of service you receive. My pup has had his vaccinations done by them, a teeth cleaning where he was put under and simple routine exams as well. I highly recommend Sunbury Veterinary Clinic!

I have been a client at Sunbury with both my senior dog and senior cat since before the pandemic. Last Friday the 9th ofJune I visited with both my pets together. The front desk staff kindly put us in separate rooms, the cat with my adult daughter and me with my 14 year old border collie mix, Dottie. Our vet tech was thorough and attentive. Dr Taylor (my favorite) set both animals at ease and listened to my numerous concerns. She called me with lab results the next day (on a Saturday) Mostly good news. Phew! It's a great practice that I highly recommend.

We have 2 cats and 1 husky, therefore the top priority for us when we moved to Austin was to find a trust worthy vet clinic. After doing bunch of research, we found Sunbury, and they have been taking care of all our babies patiently and carefully even since. One of my cats is 18 and she had UTI multiple times. When I called Sunbury for help, they would try to squeeze some time to check her the same day since she had blood in her urine. This feels good that the clinic treats you like a family and take care of your love ones.

This vet clinic was unfortunately very incompetent. They denied my dog’s heart worm medication for 3 months because they spelled his name incorrectly and didn’t fix it the first time I told them to. They didn’t update our information correctly causing more issues. They told us we could order prescriptions from Chewey but later told us we would need to come back in for more tests before we could actually receive the prescription. Staff was inattentive and long wait times just for a simple vet visit. Will not be returning.

We’ve been bringing our 4 year old Frenchie, Bruno, here since he was a puppy, as it was highly recommended by other bulldog owners. Our experience here is always 10/10 - every doctor we work with is patient and attentive, and the staff are so sweet and responsive to all of my requests. After every appointment, we leave knowing that our Bruno got the best care. We hope to continue taking him here to keep him happy and healthy for many more years.

I have been using Sunbury for Decades. They have always treated my fur babies with care and treated them like family. They were absolutely outstanding when Monte, my 14 year old Westie, went downhill fast and I had to let him cross the rainbow bridge. This was my first time here and I am very pleased with the experience! Both the technician and the vet were very good with my two cats and I'm looking forward to bringing the rest of them in as well. My previous vet clinic was great but after the passing of my vet the staff turned over and it just wasn't the same experience anymore, I'm happy to have found a new clinic.

Sunbury was recommend to me by a friend and I am so glad to have visited their office. Dr. Campbell did everything to ensure my pup was comfortable during our visit. Sunbury is amazing!! My cat had a chronic cough and was getting worse. The vet spent so much time with him getting chest X-rays, walking me back to see the X-rays, getting a radiologist's opinion... Turns out it was an infection, and the antibiotic he chose has cleared up all my cat's symptoms! My cat's 13 and acting like a kitten again! Thank you Sunbury! :)

This place takes great care of my two cats. One had surgery here and they were so understanding while this happened. They’re flexible with drop offs and pick ups, too. Sometimes, I feel like they charge too much. My cat had a blood draw the other day and it was 71 dollars. For just a blood draw. I don’t want to even get into the cost of the other visits.

I have a teacup chihuahua and needless to say he is very small and fragile, so I have a hard time finding new vets that I trust. This clinic has the most friendly and approachable staff I have ever encountered at a vet, the techs are very knowledgeable and gentle, and I never have any concerns about leaving my pup with them. The front desk staff were very pleasant and the vet tech, Jaylen was very sweet with my nervous kitties. Dr. Taylor did a thorough check-up and answered all my questions. I didn’t feel like the examination was rushed and i left feeling confident I made a good choice by picking this vet. Also they gave my cats bandannas and it was super adorable!

My husband and I have been talking our buddies to see Dr. Sunbury since 1995. He is wonderful with them and you can really see how much he cares for any animal. He is straight up with you and has the kindest heart. You can't go wrong with Dr. Sunbury and most of his staff has been with him for years and they to are extremely friendly and caring!

I have been going to this clinic for over 15 years!! Everyone is super nice and when I lost my first dog, they did a paw print for us and sent a card! Their amazing! Sunbury goes above and beyond when it comes to caring for your pet. The doctors are professional, compassionate, and kind. The staff overall is. Sunbury has always been great.i first went to them while I was fostering an English Bulldog. They took great care of him and were always very thorough. I now bring my cat to them, and the doctor takes the time to talk through all your concerns and made sure she was doing just fine! I also love that they are very COVID conscious.

Asked three times over a period of a month for them to send me my pet's medical records so I could email them to my pet insurance for my claim (since my pet insurance could not get in contact with them directly). Still nothing. Pretty sure it's illegal to not send records when requested. I'll take my business elsewhere.
