My 6yo was seen by dentist Michael Nguyen yesterday after her gums started to bleed few days ago and I just prayed the she won’t needs extraction as I was terrified from other kids experience. I decided to go to this dentist because of the reviews looks good. The first visit was very pleasant for my little one, friendly and helpfull staff. The dentist was very clear and knows what he was doing, he made sure the first visit impression to be fun for the little one. She got her teeth examined and get an Xray done at the same time. The dentist explained that the only choice is to get her broken teeth extracted to safe her adult teeth from getting infected too. As a parent I was sad, worried and most of all I felt guilty. The staff reassure me that everything is going to be ok. The dentist assure that the treatment would not have to be done in the hospital with the general anaesthetic. So this afternoon we attended the appointment. I could not sleep all night, my head was just full with the thought of what my little one might have to go through. My husband was the same. He looked nervous. He decided to wait at the reception. Little one walked in with confidence, the dentist kindly offered her to choose any cartoon she’d like to watch while being treated. The procedure was done in 15-20mins. With the help of the dentist and the lovely assistant, she did GREAT!!! it was beyond my expectation. So relieved that little one came out with a happy face. everything went smoothly. Just a pure happy ending for all of us. They gave us a print out instruction for post-procedure treatment and extra sterile dressings for in case of bleeding overnight, to top it off, the clinic also charged a very fair rate and they gave me a copy of receipt too, even it was bulk billed. Would deffinitely going back and recommend this clinic to friends and family! Thank you so much!

I couldn't be more happier with the service I was provided at Sunshine Dental Group.After reading positive reviews at Sunshine Dental Group i decided to pay them a visit and i was not disappointed! Unfortunately for me, i had to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and decided to go in the chair with Dr. Rama. I was so nervous to be awake for the procedure and dreading it, I was afraid i would feel pain or have an awful experience being awake as majority of my friends have told me bad stories. Before the procedure, I had called reception a million times. Caroline was great at handling all questions i had and booked me in on the 16/10/21. The day came to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was slightly panicking when the lovely dental nurse escorted me to the room however after meeting Dr.Rama he put all the nerves to a stop. He was professional and made me feel calm and comfortable to proceed. During the procedure, i didn't feel one thing (Mind you i had 2 impacted wisdom teeth) and overall a great experience. I spoke so highly of the team that my friend is deciding to travel from the South East to get her wisdom teeth done by Dr.Rama!!

I had dental phobia and neglected to visit the dentist for over thirty years due to the past dental treatments. On my initial visit to this clinic, Dr Micheal Huang was my dentist, he took time to talk to me about what I want to achieve for my dental care, he answered all my questions about the treatments and the approximate costs. After the check up, he came up with a great plan for me to get my teeth back on track. Dr. Micheal Huang understands my fear, he was gentle, thorough and caring. He was making sure I feel comfortable and kept me informed of what was happening throughout the process. I almost fell asleep during the root canals treatment! The most wonderful, positive experience; I had been putting off going to the dentist for more than fifteen years but, from the moment I walked into the clinic, the staff were nothing but friendly, supportive and understanding. Dr. Jamie and Hannah were wonderful and explained everything to me, listened to all my concerns and answered each of my questions in absolute detail. I felt comfortable and secure, which is saying something, given I had to have two teeth extracted. The cost was reasonable, given the procedure, and both teeth were painlessly extracted within forty-five minutes with absolute professionalism. Once they were out, I was able to see what the problem had been and was given an explanation on what to do to reduce the chance of it happening again. Thank you, Sunshine Dental Group, for making going to the dentist such a positive experience. I would recommend your clinic to anyone looking for a quality dentist.

So I had an appointment booked for 14/03 for my severe toothache and it’s emergency, online it got confirmed and I received a text as well, then I received a text saying that Dr is unwell and is unable to make it, I spoke to Amy and she has been said that they are fully booked and would call back if something comes up, when online I could book the appointment for 16/03, I called and then she said that “sorry we can’t confirm that as it’s a system glitch” like seriously, that appointment has been confirmed I received an email and she is saying can’t confirm, I mean you guys should not have this practice if you can’t help patients and be racist, I guess you guys need better people at reception coz Amy is definitely not compassionate and doesn’t help and I think she only confirms the appointment for people she like. Sadly poor service and poor communication and poor system.

Note that Sunshine Dental group also operates at another address as Dr.John Georgiou at 9 Devonshire Rd, Sunshine. Dr Michael original address has agreed to see me to rectify the experience below after I called to feed back on my experience of him. I hope I am not changed again for the same initial examination. I will update my review after the appointment. Went in for a check up today. The dentist started lecturing me about my diet before even looking at my teeth or even asking about my diet. Then to have him tell me that I would be ruining his reputation if any work on my teeth was to wrong. As for the exam, after taking a mold of my teeth, which went horribly wrong, nothing after to wash all the rubbery crap out of my mouth. I have been to a lot of dentists in the last fifty years and this guy was about as bad as I have ever experienced.

Excellent and outstanding and , highly recommend for any patient that’s like me . I have a phobia and suffer high levels of anxiety just knowing I have to go to a dentist. Hence why I haven’t been to one for 15 yrs. My sister attended the clinic and was treated by DR Ben, and as I chipped my front tooth on the weekend I booked an appointment for a week . I called and spoke to joe the receptionist and she fitted me in the same day thank you so much joe you are amazing and as to Dr Ben, you are outstanding in your work his very calming and understanding of how I was feeling and I have booked my next appointment for next Monday. To the whole team you are outstanding and would recommend you to all my family and friends . Thank you so much see you all next week

Was quite surprised how hard it was to find a dentist near me who would allow me to book in an urgent matter (severe toothache). I booked an appointment online & was then called shortly after for confirmation for the same day which was really nice. It assured me that the dentist would know of my issue beforehand. The receptionist was beyond lovely, incredibly helpful upon arrival. The entire experience was great. Dentist was well informed, thorough, professional & friendly. I was a little embarrassed (as usual when exposing your teeth you know could look better) but was comforted with humour, honesty & assurance. I had many questions that weren’t left unanswered. Really impressed. Will be returning here & quite happy to make this my go to dentist.

I visited Sunshine Dental Group and saw Michael for a long overdue check up. He was very friendly, informative, took the time to do a very thorough check, answering all my questions patiently. I was then referred to their Oral Health Therapist Waronga for some further work. I was very anxious, but as soon as I met Waronga, I immediately felt at ease, she was kind, professional, explained the procedure in detail. She took her time to do a great job reassuring me along the way. Within few weeks, I could see the improvement in the health of my gums. The inflammation that I was suffering for months had calmed down and I am so happy that I found these amazing dentists. Both dentists were honest, professional and on time. I would highly recommend.

I am very happy with the overall treatment and service received from Sunshine Dental Group. The staff are friendly and always very helpful. Dr. T Cheong is an amazing, friendly, professional and highly skilled dentist - who is also a genuinely nice guy too! I am very fortunate to have Dr. TC look after me as I feel like he always has my best interest at hand. He is incredible with nervous patients and children as he is very in tune and always careful to address your questions and concerns. Dr TC is definately the best dentist I have ever seen. I highly recommend the Sunshine Dental Group for both adults and children. You'll be looked after by the staff and receive top dental care.

Absolutely fantastic service! I had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr Daniel and I was so nervous going in but he patiently answered all my questions and explained absolutely everything that he was doing while he did it, which put me 100% at ease. Could not have had a better experience with such a scary procedure. They even call you the day after the procedure to make sure everything's okay, and do a check up two weeks later. The receptionist is super lovely too and made everything so stress free. Honestly did not expect to have such a good experience taking out wisdom teeth! Definitely making this place my go to dental practice for my family from now on! :)

My son and I have been attending this clinic for several years. The dentists here are very child-friendly and have always made it a pleasant experience for him. I recently had to come in during stage 4 lockdown and was pleased that they were still opened for emergency procedures. I was so grateful that they had an oral health therapist who has joined their team, saved me from seeing a Periodontist which would have costed me so much more. Waronga was amazing, very professional, experienced and thorough with her examinations and extremely informative. I loved her honesty and made it a pain-free experience.

I am a very anxious (borderline phobic) patient and made an appointment after reading reviews here. Anna at the front desk, and who took the call, was amazing, she was incredibly comppasionate and patient with my questions and was able to get me an emergency appointment within a few days. My apppointment could not have been better. Dr Ben Forrest was very understanding and took time to explain what he was looking for, doing and the plan moving forward. I felt like I was listened to and I am actually looking forward to having my teeth sorted out via sleep dentistry. I would hightly recommend this clinic.

The service at this facility was horrendous, my parents went in for a free consultation and they were taken advantage of, due to their broken English, and they were charged. When I called up reception to ask for a refund I was told this was not possible and the reason they were charged was because of a miscommunication on both sides. The Dr they saw (Dr Michael Nguyen) apparently charges his clients and that we chose the wrong Dr, but we weren't given a choice of doctors just a time to book. The fact that they are willing to rip of anyone who is unable to understand how things work, is just despicable.

I wish I could rate 10 stars! Best Dental Clinic I have ever attended. I have been to Dr Ben who is the most patient and gentle dentist I have ever met. From the first phone call to the treatment to my departure everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional and kind! I even sent my grandfather to Dr Mike Huang who worked through his language barrier (and stubbornness) with a smile and my children have also joined the clinic I can’t recommend enough! Actually excited to come to the dentist now where previously I neglected my teeth due to my fear. I live 1/2 hour away - the trip is worth it!

I have never come across a more honest and friendly dental clinic like these people ! From start to finish the staff were amazing ! Lisa the dentist is so lovely! I have a huge fear of going to the dentist and from the moment I sat in the chair the fear was gone! You just feel at ease. They are also not there to rip you off either and push you for dental treatment that isn’t necessary at the time . My husband got his wisdom tooth taken out by Dr.Rama the same day I was in for a check and again he can’t fault the clinic or him either. Just the best and will be back with my kids ! Had my first ever filling done today on a severe cavity in my tooth. Dr Joshua was very precise, professional and friendly in his approach and procedures. Him and his assistant took their time to make sure I was completely comfortable going into the operation. I have had this phobia of visiting the dentist for far too long only to realise that its actually a rather pleasant experience. My first appointment definitely serves as a benchmark for future appointments when neccessary as i can definitely trust this clinic and would recommend it for anyone who is scared of dentists and pain.

Had an amazing experience here. After a LOT of trouble finding emergency appointments for my horrible tooth pain Sunshine Dental Group did an amazing job fitting me in on the day. Dr. Ben Forrest did an amazing job talking me through what was happening with my teeth and what my options were. He was also honest about his limits and the possibility that he might have to refer me to a specialist, but after my approval he was able to give the procedure a go, and luckily he was successful! This place was a huge help when I really needed it. Highly recommend.

I had the most pleasant experience with Lisa, my assigned dental technician. I suffer alot with anxiety and panic attacks and am very sensitive to pain. I really dislike going to the dentist because of this. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel at ease with the receptionist, and felt surprisingly relaxed with Lisa. It makes a HUGE difference when you are listened to and that your needs are met with a kind spirit. I will definitely be coming back here, at last I have found a dental clinic that I can feel comfortable with!!

I highly recommend SDG to anyone who has dental anxiety, or has neglected visiting a dentist for other reasons. I avoided the dentist for many, many years as a result of a mental health condition, and have found all the staff at Sunshine to be fantastic and non-judgmental - in particular Dr Jen has looked after me amazingly well and is consistently flexible in treatment plans. I live over 30 minutes away from the clinic but I continue to return as I have been so impressed with the quality of care that I receive.

I have been here a few times now for multiple types of appointments, from general consulting, to cleaning, to having a crown done, to getting an occlusal splint. Mind you these were all with different dentists and oral specialists and staff, but have never had a bad experience. Shout outs to Waronga, Michael, Jamie and Josh for being so nice and patient and amazing in what you do. Considering what I've done was a complicated case. Will definitely keep coming to you guys for dental check ups yearly now

My experience here was not good. The dentist I received treatment from was impatient, had very poor skills in communicating the treatment or alternative options for treatment. She seemed particularly interested in choosing the most expensive option for my treatment, even though I clearly stated I had budgetary constraints. I also found the treatment I did receive exceptionally expensive! I would not recommend this dentist, nor would I return to seek treatment from one of the other dentists at the clinic.

After moving home and my last dentist retiring I was looking for a new dentist close by that I could see for a couple of issues and ongoing for good oral health. Friends suggested I try the Sunshine Dental Group and I am so pleased I did! Dr Ben was great - thorough, outlined exactly what I needed and was so considerate of my anxiety over pain - and can honestly say I felt not a single moment of discomfort! Am glad I now have a dentist I'm more than happy to see regularly to keep my teeth healthy!

As someone who is terrified of the dentist, this was the best experience I have ever had. Dr. terrence was calm, explained everything very well and never once went beyond my comfort level (which is pretty low). Having a dentist who was supportive, included me in the process and was very pleasant in general has given me hope that over time this fear might be manageable. I cannot stress how friendly and understanding the staff were which made this experience alot calmer than at other places.

That was the gentlest, least painful clean I've ever had! Dr Terence is amazing. He's so aware of every little flinch and constantly checks in to make sure you're okay. He also had to share some tough news with me in terms of my dental health and was so compassionate and helpful in figuring out all my potential options. Even the lovely lady at reception was so nice and just seemed like such a breath of fresh air compared to most places. I felt so well cared for and would 200% recommend.

We have taken our 6 year old son here for the last three weeks to have some significant work done. The work done with him was completed professionally, but more importantly, with a great touch for a young boy afraid of the amount of work needed. I can’t thank Waronga enough for calming my son and making him as comfortable as possible through this work and helping him feel brave for what he was having completed. I got fillings and when I went to that appointment they only said fillings were needed, after the fillings I had pain and they said in a couple days it will go. It has been 2 weeks now, it still hurts and they gave me two options either wait or pull the teeth or to do a root canal, nothing was said at the filling appointment about this and because I have an accent, I was spoken to like I don’t speak english and taken advantage of. They do this so they can charge more.

Great and friendly customer service, they make going to the dentist less daunting. I went from South Melbourne to this clinic based on Google maps reviews and it didn't let me down. I extracted 2 wisdom teeth at the same time (one through surgery) and the experience was much better than I expected. Dr. Rama definitely knew what he was doing and was very professional. The operation went great with no problem and the pain and recovery issues after the operation were much less than I thought. Highly recommended

For around 10 months now, I have been seeing Dr Antish and I am very pleased. He’s very professional and easy to talk to, and has a sense of humour that always makes visiting the dentist that little bit easier. Great friendly caring and professional staff. Welcomed with a smile, very short wait before called in for treatment. Came away with a painless, step two, of my implant treatment. The music was soothing and Michael’s explanation of what he was doing made for a very relaxing session. My husband, with a loose tooth, came with me hoping to be squeezed in and Michael did not disappoint! Thanks Dr Michael Nguyen and staff.

Needed to see someone asap to fix filling that had come out. Called and spoke to Asu about getting an appointment and she was extremely helpful setting me up with Dr Haren after he had a cancellation. Staff at reception (including Asu) were friendly as was Dr Haren who was timely, professional and sorted the issue out in no time. Have had dental records transferred to Sunshine Dental Group for future dental needs.

My little boy needed to have his first tooth pulled out as his gums were getting infected. The staff were calming and made him feel welcome. The setup was also catered for that demographic. Big screens on the dentist chair, with a choice of what he wanted to watch was great to see. The dentist was also explaining everything to keep him calm. At the end he was one little happy Chappy. Definitely will be going back.

I've been going to Sunshine Dental for the past 6 months. Josh has been my dentist and has been amazing. He goes out of his way to make you welcome and to get the treatment you need. The staff there are also friendly and helpful. They all make going to the dentist a much easier experience than it otherwise would be! Would recommend them to anyone!

When I first came to see Dr. Ben I was in a bit of a state, disappointed with other dental care, in pain and so wary of getting ripped off. Dr. Ben patiently walked me through my options, kept me calm and has worked on my teeth multiple times including a root canal, fillings and clean. I cannot thank him enough, worth the drive to Sunshine.

Edit: Repeat visit. Again i was impressed with the care and treatment received. Dr Michael was very kind. Thanks Visited for emergency dental treatment, really happy with the approach and professionalism of Dr Adam. I'm not one for changing dentist easily, but I'll be back! Amazing staff, reception, dentist and dental assistant all took extra care in making my 2 year old feel welcomed. He loved the visit and learning about some dental tools. Forgot the name of the Dr we say today for my son. But in the past I also saw Dr. Grace who was wonderful and very talented fixing a filling 2 other dentists failed to treat.

I was always wary of visiting the dentist and as a result my dental health has really suffered. Two days ago, I had a bad discomfort with my 2nd molar and decided to make an appointment here. I am glad I did. Dr Vincent explained everything and did what was necessary. I got immediate relief. I will be coming back regularly now.

I got a wisdom tooth extraction at Sunshine Dental Group, and Daniel and the team made the process so easy and painless. The surgery was effortless and the team was so kind and thoughtful. Not to mention very little pain as Daniel was an experienced dental surgeon. They also gave detailed aftercare, which was very helpful.

Doctor Ben was very caring and super quick in dealing with an emergency extraction on my extremely painful tooth. He always had my comfort and pain in great concern! I’ve been going to Sunshine Dental clinic since I was 18. It was very sad to hear Dr Georgiou would not be able to return. I avoided going back until just recently. I was extremely happy with Dr Kasia and now Dr Jamie. I would recommend them for sure. The service and professionalism is still as good as it has always been.

I am undergoing root canal treatment at the moment. I've had two sessions with Jen Cullen who is absolutely magnificent. Have been seeing the dentists at this clinic for about 18 months and always have a very good experience. Dr Haren especially is very gentle and patient, and explains everything he’s doing and seeing. I am usually very stressed and scared to go in, but I always leave with a smile :)

Very professional dental service dr Vincent was amazing, i couldn't have asked for a better dental doctor, for having a stubborn tooth pulled and it needed to be cut out and stitched up, no trauma to the area the next day and no pain at all! I would highly recommend going here!

Saw Dr Terrance today and he was fantastic. I am not a fan of the dentist but he was caring, prompt, and listened to all my concerns and issues. I never ever rebook for a six month check up as I just loathe the dentist but I did this time and will be back.

Took my 4 and 6 year old for a check-up and clean. Dentist was lovely and kid friendly, but I extremely unhappy that I was charged $55/child for a "clean" which lasted less than 5mins per child. I was not impressed! Will not be going here ever again.
