I took my 9 year old son to the museums Time Travel event to see what it was like back in 1917. We both loved it. An army of Volunteers assist you on your journey through the house, even dressing up for the occasion. We got to do activities along the way. At the end we even got biscuits, cordial, tea and coffee. Thankyou TTG Heritage Museum and the wonderful volunteers for such a great experience.
Great day out Friendly volunteers Plenty to see and watch with the blacksmith at work the day we attended. Devonshire tea was awesome Cheese platter. . Was nice (not anywhere near enough cheese to cover my scones) but alas washed down with a lovely cuppa. Glad we went. Thanks to everyone involved on the day.

Went to the spud fest Sunday at the museum and it was well worth the entry fee of $5. The volunteers are very friendly and enjoy chatting and sharing their knowledge with visitors. Lots of interesting historical items inside and around the large gardens. We also saw a blacksmith showing how a chain was made using the same method as was used 200 years ago.
What an amazing venue for our wedding ceremony where the hosts made everything available and helped in setting up and were very accomodating. Beautiful unique settings for photos. Recommend to everyone to hire for whatever purpose...everything was simple and uncomplicated to organize.
Went to see the haunted doll exhibition, absolutely loved it, its a must see as is the building itself! Well today 14/10/19 I went & saw the museum without the haunted dolls, it is definitely worth seeing & it had the forge in action too.
Went for the doll exhibit. Was dark for full effects so didn't see much of the actual museum. Would like to go back in daylight to see that. However doll exhibit was good. Interesting facts and interesting dolls.
Went to my nephews wedding. Rained like heck but we were try. Vows were said under a verandah. Its was cold, wet and totally magic. No.photos as the.professionals wouldn't allow it.
What an amazing place! Definitely want to come back to look at it in more detail ...

A picturesque location with interesting local history. Great for an afternoon outing. Watch the blacksmith at work at the forge!
As always, an excellent, imaginative display of games children played. Always worth a visit to each display.
