Popped in today for some cuc and some advice as I'm still relatively new to the hobby. All I can say is this man knows his stuff and what a true gent. At first I wasn't quite sure where I was going so I gave him a call he answered straight away and told me he would wait out the front for me. I was greeted with a handshake and offered a drink as I stepped into his shop I was astounded and amazed and the look and layout, absolutely beautiful best place I have been to, the colours of all the corals and fish on display. And can tell that all livestock is been taken great care of. One more thing that I think is crucial being new to the hobby it is hard to know who you can trust for advice as you get mixed advice from your LFS as they are first and foremost sales people but everything that came out this guys mouth was to help me out the customer, he wasn't pushing me into buying anything that I shouldnt be for the sake of a sale. From the off don’t be put off by the fact you are parking at somebody’s house... Tee is probably the friendliest store owner I’ve met so far. What a lovely experience I had, I was offered a drink as soon as I walked into the shop, given a full guided tour and talk about his beautiful corals and fish. Tee and Luke were great, knowledgeable and gave me so much time. There maybe no prices on the tanks but if you ask, you’ll find out. Had a really great time (spent about 2 hrs there talking with fellow customers/hobbyists who come from all around, all varying experiences and knowledge levels. I believe Tee, with his friendly and talkative nature unknowingly inspires everyone to get talking between themselves, which is great as many other stores are often silent. THE best marine shop around! Firstly the owner, where else can you go and make a friend, have a cup of coffee, biscuits and even offered some food! Nowhere else! Tee is a great guy with loads of knowledge and it doesn't matter if you're a beginner or been in the hobby for years, he will talk you through exactly what you need and without pushing any sales, he will just tell you exactly what you need to know! The range of stock is seriously impressive, especially his corals of which I have never seen a bigger selection and everything is so reasonably priced! I brought my friend with me yesterday and was equally as impressed with the place! If you're into marine keeping then this is one shop that you absolutely need to go to!

What an amazing place and a great experience. Let me first start by saying that the owner Tee is an enthusiast like no other. Some of his personal display tanks are breathtakingly beautiful. This place is Aladins cave for any serious reefer. Forget any place you have ever been to before, this place is a must. There is so much choice, from small tiny frags to large ones, colour varieties, and some very unusual corals too. Customer service at Tee's reef is second to none, you could easily spend hours in this place. So do yourself a favour, next time you're in Birmingham, check out Tees Reef. One of the best marine aquarium shops available to people in Birmingham. Tee - has created an up market shopping experience with a personal touch for the marine hobbyist. He has some of the best quality corals I have seen and the all the fish are in 100% perfect condition. He will happily show you them eating and I have not had one bad fish from Tees Reef. Tee has worked very hard to create the unique shop in the rear garden of the family home - but do not be put off by this - which is providing me with high quality live stock at low prices that I cannot compare to the local fish shops. I highly recommend Tees Reef.

Well what a surprise, a marine TARDIS situated on a busy road in Birmingham at what appears a residential address, with just a discrete sign on the garden wall. Walking into the shop is an amazing feast for the eyes, it takes time to absorb what you see before you, even before we could begin to do so, T the owner offered refreshment and then the adventure for our eyes could begin. Lots of hardware , fish, inverts and coral, definitely needs to be visited. The whole place is immaculately clean, giving you confidence to buy. Always a pleasure to visit tees reef, superb variety of marine fish and coral, and equipment, tee offers a fantastic helpful service and as a first timer in the marine scene it's been an amazing help to keep my marine tank looking fabolous and my mind at ease, I can't thank you enough and highly recommend. Tees Reef, what can one say but awesome guy awesome shop awesome knowledge and friendly too. on a day when things were not going right with the tech in the shop; ie. the card machine to pay for corals, Tee agreed to let me take the corals and pay when I got home online. so we exchanged details, drove the 2hrs yes that's right and we had never met before. all paid up and corals glowing beautifully I was one very happy customer. thanks Tee, see you soon, don't forget our birthdays are coming soon!!! So friendly and knowledgeable. The dedication of this man is unbelievable. He came out to our house after a full day in his shop to re-scape my wife's tank ready for seahorses, 3 1/2 hours later (11.15) at night the tank looked amazing. Can not recommend this guy highly enough. We will not be going anywhere else for our marine tank. Nothing is to much trouble and the selection of corals, fish is stunning at amazingly good prices. 5 is not high enough for this guy

Been using tees for around 6 months now, Tees is the only shop I will use now for marine. Tanks are always spotless corals are amazing! Very knowledgeable and customer service is 10/10. It’s a good place to go if you want good feeding clean fish. It’s nice to go to a shop where you can go and buy healthy fish that are not covered in parasites like other fish shops around! It’s nice to have a shop where they only sell marine as well witch is what this hobby needs!.

Absolutely amazing place by far the best marine place I’ve come across. Tee is very knowledgeable and helpful very welcoming always get a good coffee and even pakora nice touch . Tee would never sell you anything unless he thinks it’s suitable for your setup unlike some places who fob you off to make a quick sale . Had a fantastic first visit to Tees Reef on recommendation - what a fabulous place, so not what we expected. T is a great guy, made us a cuppa, gave great advice - we thought about buying coral but came away with live rock to replace all the ocean rock in our small tank instead. So glad we did, less rock with fab look aswell. Thank you so much, well worth a visit.

What a little golden treasure trove was told about tees from a friend popped over today after work and wow what a place , so helpful patient and very warming great knowledge and when there my sugars were low due to my diabetes and couldn’t help me more with sweets and a cup of coffee I won’t be going anywhere else as this place is a little gold mine

Tees reef must be one of the best marine in the west midlands. With great selection of fish and corals always healthy and well stocked. The customer service is amazing with a personal touch. I had a broken sump at 8pm on a Saturday night, nowhere open but in my hour of need tee was there to help and went the extra mile for me.. well worth a visit

Simply stunning selection of fish and corals plus all the equipment you could need to care for them.

Tee is very helpful, knowledgeable and an all round nice guy to deal with. He helped me from the beginning setting up my tank and his prices were better than other Fish shops I had visited beforehand. His corals and fish are also very healthy and easily adapt to my tank when purchased. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic time here today. Had some lovely livestock in, very helpful staff, all the tanks were clean and fish looked healthy. We got a tour of the place as if we were old friends when we arrived and a cup of coffee to drink whilst looking around the shop. Will deffintly be returning to Tees Reef.

Tee is really very welcoming. Has a nice small selection of fish and a good healthy selection of corals. Prices are very reasonable and competitive. If there is something particular you are looking for, Tee is happy to order for at a non inflated cost. Will be my LFS and I live in London.

It was amazing. I went there with my brother, we were greeted with a coffee, the corals were beautiful and the prices were great. They gave advice without trying to sell you anything. I can not fault this place or the people that work there, if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

I was thoroughly impressed during my first visit to Tees Reef today. There's a stunning array of coral, livestock and equipment on display and excellent help/advice. Sometimes you just know when you've found THE place to support your hobby and I had that moment this morning.
