This store was recommended to us by Don, our Osteopath. I called on Saturday June 26th and the owner said he would be more than happy to stay open late to accommodate us. When we arrived, he was a delight to deal with. My wife, son and I tried on many styles and sizes of shoes with helpful recommendations and feedback from the owner. The experience was fun and we left buying 6 pairs of shoes after abandoning a mountain of shoes that we tried on. The brands and products are not your average athletics store usuals, they carry different brands that are excellent for serious activity. This store, service and personal touch are extraordinarily better than the box store experience where you are dealing with a random assortment of temporary and inexperienced staff. The whole time, we felt informed without being pressured... professional, courteous and extremely enjoyable. Looking forward to putting a lot of miles on our shoes just so we can return again! ‍♀️

Had the most excellent customer service I have ever received, and the shoe quality was a life saver. Peter allowed us the flexibility to ensure we were satisfied with our choice of shoe. We never felt rushed, and he wanted to ensure we left with the shoe we felt most comfortable in. My girlfriend was suffering with hiking boots on her thru hike of the Bruce Trail. After visiting Ten Toe'n and changing shoes- it made a world of difference. My girlfriend was able to complete the hike, pain free, and comfortable in her Ultra Lone Peak 5's, all thanks to Peter and Ten Toe'n!

Customer service here is truly outstanding. I struggle finding stores that stock a size 10.5 - 11 women's shoe, let alone my favourite brands like Altra, Hoka, or any wide toe box or barefoot shoes. It was so nice to talk to the owners who have such a passion for trail running and truly care about getting you the right fit. I called asking about Altras I was looking for and Pete put an order in just so I could try them on, which I so greatly appreciated. I left feeling so good, which I never do after shoe shopping! You can't beat this small shop experience!

I was introduced to shop by a good friend of mine about four weeks ago. I met the owner Pete, and advised him I was looking for “winter” running shoes - something to keep my feet warm and dry. We agreed on sizing up to accommodate my orthotics and wool socks I would wear. He recommended a Goretex type model (Hoka), and I have made significant use of them in the last month. Being out in cold weather and being comfortable has been amazing. Superb personal and professional service at Ten Toe’n. I highly recommend.
