I've been going to this car wash for many years and had no issues, though recently after the poor service and hostile employee I experienced I'll never go back here again. They have a 2 dollar minimum start that you have to pay on the coin wash to activate it. Now if you've ever washed you car before you know that it will take far more then 2 dollars to get it clean. I was on my 4th dollar and the machine stopped so I went to enter my last dollar in and it wouldn't accept it. If you've been here before you know that after you initially activate the coin wash it will give you 20 seconds to place more money in or reset back to a 2 dollar minimum. This time it didn't give me 20 seconds so I asked the car wash attendant to correct it for me and he just kept pointing for me to read the minimum. After explaining I could read English and attempted to explain there was no delay he refused to do anything for me and kept saying 20 seconds 2 dollar minimum. Now I get it , he doesn't come Canada , and doesn't speak the best English but at least try and find someone that does. If he looked at my car he could see that it wasn't fully finished and I wanted to do a spot free rinse. Needless to say I didn't and I would never come back here again. There are a dime a dozen car wash places in Edmonton , great service goes a long way. This place had zero service and won't earn my business or anyone that asks me about it because I will tell them how horrible they are.

I went to Terwillegar car wash recently to use their service. It wrongly charged my card and when I asked for a refund the worker told me he would get his manager. This manager came and refused to refund me. He told me to “sort it out with Visa”, fully knowing that I will not get a refund through visa. When I pressed more he became argumentative and walked away after a while. I called Visa and they told me my card was charged x 2. I am asking for a refund out of principal now. I also see that I am not the only person that have this experience. I strongly believe in supporting honest and local business especially in this climate. This is my expectation; 1. I would like for a call from the owner of this car wash to talk it over by the end of this week. To put an end to profiteering dishonestly and discuss how they can improve customer service. 2. I expect to be refunded fully. 3. If I do not receive either I am hoping for your support in Terwillegar area to boycott this car wash. How long I live it up to you. Why? Because I am tired of people taking advantage of others especially when they’re are in power or have an advantage over you. I am sure you also want to support your hardworking, honest, quality local business.

I've been going to this car wash for about 2 years, but now will never go there again. One day I was washing my car in the bay, and I keep rags on me to wipe the dirt off my car that the pressure sprayer does not get. I've done this ever since I have visited here, and any coin wash ever in my life. One day, a gentleman that works there started giving me an earful about how I cannot wipe my car. I've seen this gentleman many times here before. Umm it's a car wash. I'm there to get a clean car. Your sprayer is not removing the dirt, is what I told him. He would not listen to reason, and I just told him you've lost a customer and I will tell everyone I know not to come here if this is how you treat us. He didn't care or understand, or both, likely. And to be clear, I do not dry my car in the facility while people are waiting. I merely wash it until it's clean, then go outside to dry it. They need to use common sense and courtesy. But as the saying goes for hiring workers, pay peanuts, get monkeys.

This is a great car wash. A huge bay that had has many stalls (16 or so). There is a spray wand with all the usual stuff like soap spray rinsing, and waxing. There is also a soap foam brush that you can use if you great want to take your time and clean. The main downside to this place is its expensive, especially with the foam brush. Two bucks only gives you two and a half minutes, so for a midsize to large car or truck if you want to do everything from spray, soap scrub, shine the rims, rinse, etc, your looking at 4 to 6 toonies. Still way cheaper than going somewhere to get it done by someone else I guess. Also, it an get really busy during the spring or when after any kind of wet weather when the roads dry up. There is also a staff member on hand which is good, and a parking lot outside where you can dry of your ride (who alot of people do with some really nice car). Overall I would reccommed if you need to clean your car and are in the terwillegar area.

Open time is posted on the driveway as 7 am-10 pm. I showed up at 7:20 and no lights were on. I had a job to do and I had my plans killed in their tracks. It was -30 C, so if it was closed due to cold, a permanent sign saying closed due to cold at -30 C would have been nice. Next day it was -25C and they opened at around 10 am. They told me -30C = closed, -25 C to -30 C = open around 10 am. They also block their driveway at 9:30 pm with an employees car when their hours posted on the building state 10 pm. Other nearby car washes that post 10 pm closing let you in until 10 and ask people to leave at 10:15. They should update their hours, list their policies outside, and be more thoughtful. I like the place in general but they have inconvenienced me several times, hence the 1-star review will remain until they fix their signage or policies.

We have used this car wash many times because it is conveniently in our neighborhood. That was our first mistake! After many, many disappointments we had an incident where my credit card was charged more than 3x the price. I had turned the car wash dial to off and pressed the hexagon "stop" sign and saw my total was just over $6. I made a particular mental note, as we've had issues in the past. Then I looked at my credit card, and was charged $20. I called the car wash to ask if there was something that could be done...They rudely said no, and hung up on me when started to ask another question. I won't go back. My husband has already switched to the Rainbow car wash on 106st and 29thAve and says it is WAY better. My bad, I should have listed to him!

I come to this car wash because it's right down the road from me. I usually give my car a quick wipe after I use the soap to loosen the dirt, literally 30 seconds. The staff comes up to me and tells me to dry it outside... my cars covered in soap, I'm not drying it. I can't use the scrub since everyone uses it on their wheels and it causes swirls. So if I can't loosen the dirt I may as well hose my car at home. Every time I try to explain myself to the staff they get aggressive even though the meter is still running when I'm doing this. This is the only thing that deters me from coming here.

Very upsetting!!! Just now the employee didn't let us in even though it was 9:45 yet! He was rude and apparently didn't care at the very least about the reputation of the business. At 9:45 , 15 minutes before he has to close the doors, he just switched the lights off, locked the doors and left home. Said it was too late now!!! If I knew how to contact the owner of that place I would at least let him know that he pays money for nothing. This isn't the way the business of that scale should work!!!.very crappy place!! Never will I come back there and so, I will advise to all my friends!!!.

I arrived yesterday night at 9:45pm, 15 minutes before closing, knowing that I could be done in 10 minutes top. The guy at the entranced stopped me and said that I could not use the car wash for more than 5 minutes because he needed to be done cleaning by closing at 10 pm. What is the point of showing 10pm as closing time if we cannot make it until 10pm as customer? If your staff need to finish at 10pm with a clean facility, don't say that you close at 10pm.

This is about the cleanest car wash in the city. The attendant is constantly moving the dirty water, snow, and dirt into the drains after each customer so the bays are very clean. My only complaint is that after the coins are entered in, the time starts counting down with a 2 to 5 second delay before any water starts coming out of the noozle. This is not right as the customer is not getting the full time paid for.

I have been using this car wash for almost 8 years, it was great till last year Vacuum’s don’t work properly, they keep on adjusting the timer on the cars wash to make it more shorter, the other day vacuum wasn’t working well I put a toonie and the gentleman working there wouldn’t even bother returning the money back. Very poor service and this place needs new machines compared to Winderemere clean car wash

I'm sorry to say this car wash does not compare to other wand washes in the city. They're more expensive, the soap is almost sticky so it takes longer to rinse it off (adding more expense), and it leaves a terribly streaky residue all over your vehicle. Oh, and if you opt to use cash and the machine eats your toonie, the staff will try to convince you that YOU lost it. I would not recommend this car wash.

Since the Covid-19 lockdown the prices at this car wash have increased dramatically. I went on February 26, 2020 and washed my car, it usually takes about 10 minutes on the meter. It came to $16. On April 18 I went and did the same wash and it was $33.84. Yikes, that is a huge increase for the same wash? Is this price gouging because of the Covid-19 crisis? Will management please respond to this??

There was a big chunk of ice stuck on the exit yet the employee did not even bother to give customers who are going in a warning or offer an alternative way to get out. When I called and let them know hopefully they could figure something, he clearly understood but said “no English, it’s your fault if the car is damaged” .. that is such an irresponsible car wash, never go back again

Pretty good car wash. Line ups can get long but move fairly quick as there’s 8 bays. The owners act up sometimes though. It was -20 outside one time and i was washing my car right before closing. It was 5 mins after closing and I was putting air in my tire and the owner or worker was hurting for me to leave like that’s now how you treat a customer. The wash quality is good though.

Washed our rental van here. The attendant pointed me to the large stall in the corner, plenty of room. The attendant was attentive and nice, he came around and pushed the water into the drain with a squeegee. That was awesome because my pants were starting to get wet around my shoes. The prices were good. It's about a dollar a minute. I had a great time. Thank you!

The in-bay payment system does not work for credit /debit payments. The change machine does not accept credit/ debit. The office will not process a debit transaction for cash to use in the change machine, or were able to provide a solution to the inability to accept credit/debit transactions. Overall, just a very frustrating experience.

It's good. Can use credit card to pay for time. The equipment is functional and appears to maintained. There is usually not a wait. There is a person on site, which is nice when the equipment or payment machine is not working. There are some parking spots just outside to dry so you aren't on the side of the road wiping down your car.

They have a new owner and the car wash has hot water, very hot water. The prices are less than Hughes (2.5 minutes for $2) and the bays are nice and easy to get in and out of. The employees keep it nice and tidy and no annoying tokens to buy. There is a change machine just inside. All in All my new favourite car wash in Terwillegar!

Not impressed - we arrived at 9:40 pm to wash our car and the car wash was already “closed”...yet we saw a staff member inside and other cars as well. I thought closing time was 10 pm?? It says so right on your door. We got the attention of the staff member and he just looked at us and walked away. Very poor customer service.

If I could give less than 1 I would. My wife put a coin in and the machine was not taking it. The manager came up to her insulting and yelling at her. Another customer, had to come over and tell him to stop yelling at her. She came home very upset. Never ever will we use this car wash again and I have told the manager this.

This car wash is definitely in my top 3 go tos in the city now. With the new owner and staff everything about it is better. With the new hot water system it's actually a better deal then Hughes not to mention closer to where I live. I highly recommend this car wash for people that live in the Riverbend and Terwillegar area.

Their machine wasn't working, when I asked for help, he got it going for me but then refused to refund me the time I had lost... 3 mins... Not the money nor the 3 mins I care about, it's the principle of it. I told him (Nicely) that he should probably put more time on the machine and he said no, just hurry. I won't be back.

I used to like this place but it's 9:40pm and they've already put a barricade up at the entrance (they are supposed to close at 10). Asked the attendant and he wouldn't let me in. I just needed to rinse my car after the rain, wouldn't take 20 mins to do. I'll just go to Clean Car Wash in Windermere instead in the future.

DO NOT BRING YOUR HERE! I washed my car today and my god it's freezing inside and the water was cold. After washing my vehicle the water froze on my car inside the bay!!! I ask the attendant why it's freezing cold, he said the owner wants to save gas and energy. I won't be bringing my car back to this place again!!!

The Terwillegar Car Wash is an excellent place to go to have your car washed. My only complaint is that the mat clamps need to be tightened a little more. About half of the mat clamps are not tight enough, resulting in the floor mats falling down when they are sprayed by the pressure washer.

Went tonight at 6:30 when it was -23 to get the salt off my car. Place was open and warm. After a quick rinse I was concerned about driving with water on my windows, the attendant on duty came over without me asking and squeegeed all windows for me! Very happy and love this place.

The location is very clean. The staff are ALWAYS out looking for a mess to clean up. I believe they used to have an undercarriage spray on your way in. It was useful, but they no longer have it. Correct me if I'm wrong thought, but as far as I'm concerned they used to have one.

Pretty hard to wash your vehicle there when the card readers won’t read your card and you go into the office to get change, but the 2 people working there are standing outside together smoking, and the one facing you watches you walk in there but pretends they don’t see you.

Horrible service. I asked one of the workers to help me but he said he was enable to because he worked “part-time”. It shouldn’t matter if you’re working full-time or part-time. One should be doing their job as an employee to help their customers out as much as they can.

Your standard car wash. portioned separated bays in large open shop bay. The hot water either was operational when I was there or they do not have it. Make sure to bring your money as the clock will ding you more than most for each passing moment.

I have been coming here the past couple years - ignore the hours posted because they close whenever “they feel like it”. I’m kicked out at a different time almost every week. Extremely unprofessional and the water here is awful.

Large car wash. Bit fast on the billing timer. Can take up to 15 secs for the selection to kick in which is eating away your money. One of the nicer car washes in the city. But definitely pricing is a bit high

Standard wand wash setup, with option to pay by credit card as well as coin. Usually not too long of a wait for a bay, and there is always an attendant cleaning the bays out and ensuring everything is working.

I always used this carwash but lately I noticed that water became barely warm , maybe thirty degrees, it just keep on freezing on your tire rims , no I don't recommend this carwash at least till summer.

Cleanest and simplest car wash in the city, especially now that Mastercard/visa are accepted, instead of just coins. The attendants are efficient and kind. Not too much to it, simplicity is key.

It is what it is a carwash; warm water, decent value for your money. You can buy a card and get extra time. There can be a bit of a lineup during the weekend or during spring, etc.

Always clean, soap works, and the water is hot. Today the guy squeegeed the windows of my car before I left in -26 weather. Very nice! Been a solid place to go for the last year.

I go here frequently in the summer. Love the bays, the room in each stall, and the options on the machine. I can wash a sports car for $7.00 which is pretty good in my opinion.

Great car wash, I take my car there to vacuum and clean the mats from all the winter mud and snow. The young kid is super helpful and nice to deal with.
