Wow, and not in a good way. After 10 mins of a serious browse and selection process I had still not been approached or even greeted by the young staff who were scattered around the shop floor (only 1 staff member out of what appeared to be three who were wearing athletes foot uniforms was assisting a customer for the duration of the time that my wife and I were in the store. After selecting 2 very expensive shoes to try on my wife then had to approach a young staff member who was deep in a conversation with a friend of theirs and request some assistance. Once the staff member decided he was ready to help me with my fitting needs he made it very obvious that I was a hindrance to him earning his wage and responded to every query which I made with disdain and impatience. Once it was determined that I tried a wider shoe the staff member huffed and puffed and trudged off to find me something that wasn't even any where near what I was initially looking at and it felt as if I was being dictated to about my options. I decided to look around at other outlets and upon asking for a $230 pair of shoes to be held for 40 minutes I was grunted at by the staff member and my wife and I left the store feeling like we were nothing but a painful burden. I didn't return to purchase the shoes that the young person chose for me. I'll never walk into that store again. I did however purchase a pair of New Balance Fresh Foam 880K13's from a sports retailer right above the athletes foot. I felt REBELlious.

Back in November I was walking past this Athletes Foot Shop in the Westfield Marion Shopping Centre. I normally shop at the Colonnades store, but was here, so I thought I would give it a go. I am glad I did. The staff member was brilliant!!! Her name was Elanor, and I really think this young lady went above and beyond to assist me. As we are in a pandemic, the stock levels are not good for most things out in our world. Elanor was amazing in helping me choose some new work shoes. She went offsite a few times to help me get the shoes that were the most comfortable for me. Her customer service skills, along with her friendly and positive nature made this experience a great one. Please congratulate Elanor ATHLETES FOOT and Marion, she is definitely a great employee. I will return to this store for my next shoes, and will recommend this store as well to my family and friends.

I should say that I've been going to this shop for years so this isn't an unbiased opinion. I already know I'll get on alright here. They don't have a huge selection and that's fine by me ,buying a pair of shoes isn't like getting a tattoo you won't have to live with them forever. I want comfort and longevity. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest price but when offered shoes that were unsold from the year before because of the unpopular colour that are no longer in production or fashionable for $150 instead of $250 I correctly concluded that grey was a perfectly good colour. My last pair from Athletes Foot lasted an incredible 4years. In a year or so from now I'll be back for more shoes. They probably won't be the latest big thing.

Went here to the Marion store for first time. We had the plan of getting black school shoes/sneakers.(2 in 1 shoes) They didn't have exactly what we wanted due to sizing not being available and EOFY. But they checked the kids walking pattern on their machine and then fitted their feet with "runners" disguised as school shoes which are a lighter more flexible black school shoe. As usual with these shoe stores, we left feeling happy knowing our kids will be wearing good quality shoes which suit their own individual walking style and support their growing feet. The Athlete's Foot has been our shoe shop for years. No matter where we live, we wouldn't go anywhere else for shoes.

It has now been 10 years since we have been coming to the Marion store to organise both school and sports shoes for my three children. I can’t thank Bel enough for her amazing customer service, but especially her exceptional knowledge on how to best fit and select the shoes for my children - one extremely narrow and another with orthotics and the last with two different size feet. This lady is second to none and we return to this store and spend what we do because of Bel. She is an incredible asset to the company and should be both commended and rewarded for all her efforts.

Went into The Athletes Foot, Marion, to get fitted with a pair of inserts and couple of pairs of new shoes. Andrew the sales person helped me out fantastically and professionally. He supplied me with exactly what I needed to help my feet. I can pleasantly say that the staff are fantastic at their job, and that The Athletes Foot Marion store is a excellent and great place for getting certain feet problems sorted out. I thoroughly recommend this place for feet soreness.

Came in here needing some new sneakers. The lady who assisted me was excellent. She measured my feet properly, scanned them, and explained what the results showed. She then brought out a selection of shoes for me to try with inserts to suit my feet. She told me the prices and at no time pushed me to buy the most expensive. I came out with the most comfortable sneakers and was very happy with the whole experience ☺️

Athlete's Foot Shoe Store was very helpful towards my elderly Mother with her sandals. Her feet is difficult to fit because of her toes. The prices are pretty good but needs more styles & designs for difficult feet. I have myself very wide feet(size 6-7 wide)but I found another store in the city(Angels Shoes)that make their own shoes & sandals for customers but they are very expensive.

Had a really helpful young dude assist me today with everything to do with my feet and educated me on the issues I’ve been having and possible reasons why. Picked out a great shoe + insole - don’t know his name but will recommend to friends to see him! (He’s new here from Sydney) went above and beyond!

To the Management at this fine establishment, Lloyd deserves a Management role, fantastic customer service. Knows the product really well, sat down with me and explained to me what shoe works best for me! Best customer service I've had in a long time! Keep up the good work!!

I went here with not much time on my hands just knowing what type of shoe I was after but not having any other details in mind. They were able to provide personalised service, an accurate fit and a few styles for me to try on and I even walked out with time to spare!

Travelled all the way from Goolwa to buy court sport shoes to find not my size. They suggest buy on line which is risky when you want to ensure good fit. Didn't have any luck on line either.
