Overpriced product and pretentious staff sums up my most recent visit. Wife picks out a ROUND HEART marble coaster from a STACK of the same coasters, which were surrounded by 3 more STACKS of coasters ALL the same. Sign underneath coaster says MARBLE COASTER $10.95, but the sticker on the back of the coaster says $11.95. Bring up to the till and say it should be $10.95. Ignorant girl behind the till says “no, show me where it says that.” I walk over the the FOUR STACKS of coasters all perched on the shelf with the sticker that says $10.95 DIRECTLY beneath. She had to move an entire stack of coasters to access ONE singular SQUARE coaster tucked underneath the stack, flips it over and shows me the $10.95 sticker. So naturally, I say WELL LISTEN, what about the ENTIRE SHELF packed with round heart coasters directly under the sign that says $10.95, to which the lady says “we’ve received a lot of inventory so we put stuff where we can.” Really? Well isn’t that nice. I counted no less than 6 employees working there, you’re telling me nobody with a pricing gun can re-label the shelf so there’s no discrepancy? Now I realize it’s a buck and most people that go into this store are buying $350.00 throw pillows or $13.00 bars of soap, but still. A buck is a buck. When asked if she would honour the price on the shelf the ignorant woman said “nope”, proceeded to flip over the coaster and point to the $11.95 price tag and say “it’s $11.95.” Ok. I’ll take my Christmas shopping somewhere else next year. I’m sure I won’t be missed.

The customer service from both The Cross and their manufacturer (Bliss Studio) is horrible! I was on the waitlist for a YEAR for the popular KOTINOS WREATH, just to be told that the manufacturer (Bliss Studio) changed how the wreath looks. I don't know why The Cross and their manufacturer Bliss Studio didn't honour what they promised to customers. The Cross should have told the manufacturer that they had customers waiting for a year for this specific style of the wreath. Instead, I get an email saying how the wreath is still beautiful and structurally sound from their employee. Wow! No acknowledgement of the inconvenience after making me wait a year for a product and probably other customers too. Which company puts you on waitlist for a year for a product? The Cross didn't even try to resolve this issue with their manufacturer. The manufacturer Bliss Studio still claims to sell the old Kotinos wreath on their site. Other sellers still claim to have the old Kotinos wreath, because the manufacturer hasn't informed them of the "NEW Kotinos Wreath". How does a manufacturer just change its products without informing its suppliers? I don't know why The Cross is carrying products from such a misleading manufacturer. It's unheard of waiting a YEAR for a product and then disappointing your customers. Please avoid this place, they don't care about their customers!

One of my favorite to go place in yaletown. They allow your dreamy home decor to come true. The bling blings of the furniture, home decor, accessories, everything is just so beautiful, delicate, and mind blowing. It might be easy to walk in, but walking out will be the hardest. I mean it. All pink and white, pastel toned colors are eye catching. This place makes you feel like you are a princess. All the dreamy interior will bring you to your ideal fairy world ❤️ It’s just so lovely there. I hope everyone gets to enjoy the place as much as I do. They got wide collections of scented candles and diffusers which I LOVE! And they got some nice jewelries too!!!! Go get them girls!!!!

My wife, casually dressed, visited this store and within 10-15 minutes, she got asked by multiple sales ladies "May I help you?" about 8 times. The door to the washroom which was situated at the back, locked from the outside so when my wife went to the washroom, she couldn't get back into the store and had to go out another way out onto the street and circle back to the store. When she told a sales lady about getting stuck so that other patrons won't be in the same situation, the sales lady didn't even care. Overall my wife didn't feel welcomed in the store. Snobby sales people and do not listen to concerns. Will not come again. Negative stars if possible.

They didn't offer me a bag for my purchase and just handed me the box yesterday , so I went again today to get a bag , they gave me one which seemed small to me so I asked the lady behind the cash register (who herself packed my box the day before) if this bag is big enough for my box? she just shook her head as yes! when home the bag was small and i couldn't fit the box in it. there is no third time for me to beg for a lousy bag but may be the management should train their staff on their costumer service etiquette and verbal greeting instead of sign language. I had purchased a beautiful Leah Alexandra rose gold "filled" ring for $100+ from The Cross while visiting Vancouver, only to later discover that the piece is actually rose gold "plated". After about two weeks of wear, it has started to tarnish, and I had followed all the care and storage instructions which shows how poor the quality was. If I had found known that it was plated and not filled, I would have never purchased it. Clearly, the salespeople at The Cross definitely did not know the difference when I specifically asked for pieces that were gold filled.

One of the fav shops for furniture and gifts in DT Vancouver. Everything is quite pricey but really beautiful and elegant. It is just a simple joy to walk around. Love their bedding - comfy and pretty. Lots of stuff for gift to family and friends. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They also carry some huge and small plants that look amazing! Their rugs look quite rustic and magnificent, and price is reasonable compared to other stores. If you don’t mind the price tag, you can definitely find something you love here.

Being a very messy boy, whose apartment looks the complete opposite of The Cross, I usually only find myself at 1198 Homer St when looking for presents. They always deliver in this regard and have saved me on many occasions in finding the perfect gift. Despite the fact I’m always purchasing lower valued items (and probably don’t look like their typical clientele) the employees are always extremely friendly and helpful.

I spent more than 200 dollars as a gift. I requested gift wrapping at the cashier. She told me to do it myself at home after paying for gift wrapping Box, because she was too busy. WhattTotally dumbfounded!!!! I was the only guest she responded to, and no one was waiting behind me. She wasn't busy at all and had plenty of time to do gift warpping. She's just a rude, lazy staff.

A beautiful escape from reality into home decor fantasy land where dreams are made of. Picked up a gorgeous 5 ingredient vegan book. Had an engaging tour of the local and high end jewellery, I could live there it's so nice. Parking is atrocious though, but if you're on foot, take a minute to pop in. No regrets. Seems like a team that's knowledgable and really like what they do.

Excellent customer service from Mark T, both during and after purchase. We love our St Geneve bed sheets and down pillows. They are not inexpensive, however you do pay for quality of products and the service received there is much better than most other furniture stores I’ve shopped at. Gorgeous selection of decor. It’s no wonder many top Vancouver designers shop here :)

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I live around the corner so sometimes swing by just to check out their new pieces and the staff always seem to remember me and my dog. More recently, a ring I bought started to get tarnished and when I brought it back they immediately offered to replace it or provide a store credit. I always feel good about shopping there!

One of my all time favourite interior design boutiques. They have SO much stuff, all so beautiful and high quality. Prices are great and you can snag some pretty good deals throughout the year. This is an excellent place to find gifts even for the most difficult person to shop for. You’ll want to spend a long time in here so make room on your schedule!

The Cross has the most beautiful selection of products and perfect design. I received a marble cutting board that got damaged after a dinner party and this company stood by their products and even sent me a new cutting board to replace mine! Their employees are amazing, huge shout out to Allie who helped me through the whole process!!

Being in the store made me so happy. There is a lot to look at.. stationery, furniture, decor, jewellery, etc. The store is merchandised in a very beautiful way and I can tell that everything is curated specifically for the look and feel of the store. Despite the steep prices of everything, I loved my visit!!

A great experience for the discerning shopper! This place has all the fine gifts and decor that you could possibly need, and they also have amazing customer service. What do I mean by amazing? Well, once you’ve had a chance to meet the charming man that is Mark, you’ll never want to shop anywhere else!

I enjoyed shopping here today. I came in with my young son and needed a gift ASAP for a house warming gift. The service we got was on point. The staff member helped me pick out the perfect gift, on budget, in record time, and my friend loved it. Also, the store itself is really light and beautiful.

Everything is so beautiful and gorgeous. Super, super, expensive. Definitely take advantage of any sales, when they have them. I would love to fill my home with dishes, trinkets, and decor from here, but I would be broke in minutes. Their stationary and party supply selection are reasonably priced.

The Cross is a gorgeous home decor store with a wide selection of high end items ranging from furniture and home accessories to jewelry and gifts, including things for children. My favourite section is the candles and decoupaged glassware. Street parking here...it's a pretty busy area.

The Cross is one of my favourite local shops for decor!! Their selection is so unique, beautiful, and always changing making it important to stop by often! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. There is something for everyone in their store, a must see Vancouver boutique!!! :)

Huge boojie homewares store with an exquisite range of home decor suiting a very artsy crowd. Candles, bedspreads, haberdashery and utensils galore. A great place to buy gifts. Staff are very useful and there's even free lemon water. Not cheap, great quality! Free gift wrapping.

First time shopper at this store, they have nice collections. Normally, I do not check my receipt, but the total did not make sense and I checked. I realized that they overcharged me for $25, they refunded me but after I noticed it; I am not sure if I shop again.

Beautiful store with lovely products...My only disappointment was at the till when the gal who rung up my purchase couldn't even make eye contact with me or thank me for my purchase...She seemed above it...Walked out of the store wondering if it was me or her!
