There is ZERO accountabilities within Home Depot in regards to construction contracts. It is designed in such a way literally no one is at fault no matter how much they mess up. I went to them for new floors. It took a month to get the estimate after the first consultation/measuring. Once i recieved the estimate they said it would take another month to ship the materials. Once the materials came they didnt have the proper unloading equipment so they left the pallet in the street. They then said they could start the project in 2 months after that (once everyone was free to work on my project). The day they are suppose to work one guy showed up saying he had just heard about this project that day and refused to do it because it was a trailer. The estimate was for a trailer obviously. Well they refused to do the contract so returned my payment but I had lost nearly 5 months on my home project and was back to square one. What I learned was though communication with the management; no one is at fault because the contractor is independent as well as the Home Solutions company you actually hire when you sign the Home Depot contracts. Supply chain delays and literal mismanagement all along the process but every point is covered by the next point being independent so you dont get insurance like for a TV. You get nothing. That very last worker that showed up just learning about the project on that day of work; he is the one that has to pay for anything that goes wrong out of pocket. So that's why he refused the project (totally understandable) the problem is the company never apologized for wasting my time and treated me with disinterest and apathy even while offering a discount. I tried to use the discount but the email never responded after the first delay. They were offering the discount prior to any problems but i never got that 10% promised discount on an order well over 5k. Still have the email but doesnt matter as it had an expiration date so they just had to conveniently forget to respond until after it expired... Long LONG rambling point being; don't use Home Depot for construction contracts like flooring or fencing because the system is broke. Don't enable this terrible business practice its at all the big box stores. Just hire a contractor like they are it will be EXACTLY the same! Same liability same everything except you can mange the one hired contractor. You have ZERO control at Home Depot; they just take thier cut and pass the buck. They dont make it easy to get everything you are very much better off going to any local contractor for actual personal accountability! TL;DR? Support Local Contractors
Worse delivery service I have ever experienced. I ordered an in stock stove and microwave in mid August and set up delivery for September 20. On Sept 19 they call to tell me delivery can't be done until September 22, I explained I would be out of the country starting on the 22nd, unless they can get there before 8 am which they could not guarantee. supervisor was to call back before 5pm. I never received a call, but did get a a text message giving me a time slot for delivery the next day. The next day, September 20 the delivery never showed. I called and was told I was not scheduled for 9/20, it was set up for 9/22 so I asked if it was an early morning delivery and was told they couldn't guarantee it, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would call me back. Later someone called and we set the delivery up for today, Monday, the 26th my son would take time off, they would give us a 30 minute heads up and he would meet the delivery at the house. On the 22nd I get a call from home Depot delivery they are 30 minutes out,, I tell him we are scheduled for Monday. I call Home Depot from PORTUGAL to be told there were no appointment available on Monday and nothing until October 10. (My condo is going on the market on October 7). Ever make a call and know the very moment the person on the other end of the phone makes their introduction they will be absolutely no help. So I text my son to reschedule the appointment. Some how he was able to get delivery setup for today, September 26. I received a call here in PORTUGAL from the driver they were 8 minutes away I told him my son needed 30 minutes. He says that's why you are given a 4 hour window and if he wasn't there in 15 minutes they would leave. My son got there as they were leaving and they wouldn't turn around. Son calls HD and rescheduled the delivery for Monday October 3 and for the 4th time gives them his phone number. We are also scheduled for carpet installation on October 3rd by GUESS WHO! Yes Home Depot. I am not feeling very positive. Will never, EVER do business with this messed up, mixed up company again. Thank God for Lowes, never had a problem with them. Home Depot is closer, something to be said for going the extra mile!
I enjoy coming here and I am remodeling my new home I just purchased last year and typically have to stop here 3-4 times a week. (I also do pickups here for work, so it could be up to 6x a week) I have a lot to do currently and for future business. As much as I am in the store, it does not stop the gentleman trying to sell furnace/ air conditioning systems from accosting me, everytime I enter the store. The first 10x I was polite and explained to him, sorry everything was new in my house because we just replaced it. The next 20x I had just said no thank you and moved along. He will even continue to speak when I’m pointing at my AirPods, as if he expects me to remove them to hear him out. The next 20x I am finding myself parking at opposite ends of the store just to enter through the garden center and cut through cleaning supplies to avoid him. I have also waited in my car waiting to enter with a separate large group or family hoping to sneak by while he harasses them. I have even seen someone say to him “I work here dude.” I have been approached by this man no less then 50x since Christmas and am now having to coordinate how I enter the store to specifically avoid him. Which I’m sorry to say, because he seems nice/ but he is bothersome and it is overwhelming at this point the effort I have to prepare myself for just to shop here. I just want to get my things, be left alone and leave. It’s also kind of difficult just to avoid him in general, as the majority of my projects involve paint and he hovers over the funneled entrance that is directly infront of the paint center. I’ve gone to the Michigan Ave and Greenwood Home Depot for something they didn’t have in stock at the eagle creek location (both atleast 25- 30 minute drive) and they do not have a salesman like this guy stalking the door. Idk where to voice my opinion because he’s not a Home Depot employee, but it’s a bit much. Maybe he can be by the heating and cooling systems, so his sales skills can be geared towards the audience/ interest it pertains to and not to every single person coming through the door like people who rent, employees, or people like me who need everything else but a new heating and air conditioning system .
With our usual daily hectic schedules, It’s not often that we stop to take the time to write about positive experiences. Once in a while, we encounter a true standouts within professions, and they should be recognized for their hard work, efforts, and commitment, by going above and beyond. I have been a customer of Home Depot (Eagle Creek- Indianapolis) for many years. However this experience with a Water Heater and the 3rd party warranty HD vendor 2Crew was way too difficult and expensive. If it wasn't for the Home Depot "Assistant Manager Mark" I dont believe my overall experience would have turned so positive. Never realized how replacing a leaking water heater under warranty would be so complicated, especially having to deal with with 2Crew and it only was remedied by Mark stepping up and taking charge and understanding that "delays" when replacing a water heater is unacceptable. I have met many home depot associates over the years but after meeting "Mark” and feel lucky to know he will be there to support me. Mark really put extra effort into trying to help me get the situation resolved. His commitment to his profession stood out. It was an uplifting experience in a time of stress provided me much relief, and gave me hope that there were home depot employees who had passion for their job. My entire point of this short note is to let you know “Mark” went above and beyond making a difference. As a leader myself, I have found the easiest way motivate people is with simple words of appreciation and recognizing their positive impact. It would be a wonderful thing if you could take a moment, and simply drop Mark a personal phone call to let him know that he is truly valued and appreciated. Please give him a big “Thank you” The best thing about this is that its Free – just like this letter to you it took me a few minutes but can make a small bit of difference in the usual gloomy and somber world we live in. Thank you
I ordered a washing machine for delivery August 16. The delivery wasn't for two weeks, which we expected. Upon delivery, there was a plumbing issue. They wouldn't leave the washer, but we were able to have the issue fixed within 24hrs. After that, we spent the next MONTH just trying to get anyone on the phone to give us a delivery date. We finally get one and on the day of delivery we spent the day working outside on the yard. At the end of the delivery window we checked the tracking and it said "unable to deliver, customer not home". No one even drive by. It has now been over a week since cancelling my order and I'm getting the run around on receiving my refund. Each time I've asked, the amount of time doubles. All I need is a freaking washing machine and Home Depot has made this am absolute nightmare. Edit: it is now past the window to receive my refund. While the csr people on the phone have been as helpful as they can be, I'm still having to call again. I was issued a case number and apparently there is an issue with the delivery vendor, but this is not something that should effect my ability to receive my refund and purchase a new washer for two months. I'm hoping the resolutions dept can handle this today and this vendor is no longer used. 11/21/21 still no refund I have FINALLY received confirmation from the card company that home Depot didn't process my refund until the last call I made over this past weekend. Ordered a washing machine I never received in August and still do not have my refund in my account by Thanksgiving due to the company's negligence. Never again, I'll go out of state before I ever shop with this company again.
Horrible people. Horrible service. Very nasty people for customer service. There was a long line and three of them chatting and laughing refusing to help. When they decided to help and my or was my turn, she was very rude disrespectful like I’m forcing her to work. She’s yelling at me. She placed the wrong order. Then print the receipt. I looked at it and told her you made so many mistakes. She refused to fix them. She said call customer service. I did and they’re sane level of nastiness. (You know they’re going to be horrible when the wait time is 60 minutes and no recording of the call). Another customer service on the phone refusing to help. She says I can’t change it. She will add notes to the order to correct mistakes. I paid so much extra to have my order cut and delivered on time. The order was delivered 4 days past delivery time date, broken and not cut as the order said. Call customer service Tamari, she refused to help after 80 minutes wait. She played the hand that I have to call the store which I dud already and they asked me to call customer service. So you’re stuck between these horrible people. Bottom line don’t go there. Horrible store, management, customer service, leadership and quality. Find somewhere else. Save your time, energy and money
I have spent a lot of money at this store while doing a complete remodel. I bought and paid for appliances more than 6 weeks ago. Two days before each delivery date it gets pushed back two more weeks. Ive spent several hours trying to find out why each time it is pushed back different appliances show up as being back ordered. At first it was the dishwasher, then the fridge and range. I’ve talked to a store manager, appliance manager, assistant store manager, GE dispatch, and the third party contracted delivery people multiple times. GE said it is Home Depot’s system that doesn’t allow them to split the order and Home Depot says GE gives the package discount so they can’t split the order. Neither will budge so where does that leave me as a customer. Sitting in a house with no appliances and due to a supply chain shortage, no hope that a perfect storm will come together so that all my appliances will be in stock at the same time and they will actually deliver them instead of sending them to people who only need one appliance. I would not recommend supporting this store since they do not treat their customers fairly. I wouldn’t even rate them one star if zero were an option.
Had a delivery today 03/30/2020 at 8:00am ! NOTE that I have been trying to get this fridge delivered for more than 1 one month and went out to buy it TWICE and there is always an issue 1st delivery all my furniture was in the way they didn’t have 1 second to spare for me to move it REFUSED TO DELIVER. 2nd time fridge was damaged IM NOT AT FAULT did not bring me a new one right away. 3rd time my old fridge had to be empty REFUSED TO DELIVER .why are they not telling me all these rules!?? 4th time which was TODAY I did not receive what TIME my fridge was coming the will just come when ever it’s convenient for them. So I missed there calls my husband went out side to notify them we was home and GUESS WHAT THEY COULD NOT DELIVER! I called COOPERATION they Called the drivers which they DENIED that they ever talk to my husband out side of our door SO NOW HOME DEPOT IS CALLING US A LAIR this is funny. So now they want to do ANOTHER RESCHEDULE. WOW YOU KNOW WHAT PEOPLE JUST KEEP YOUR MONEY YOUR NEVER GOING TO RECEIVE YOUR ITEMS AND JUST GO TO LOWES OR MENARDS BECAUSE HOME DEPOT HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! THEY ARE QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NOT GIVE YOU WHAT IS YOURS.
Worst manager ever So I went to buy a mower, and while there, I was offered one that was at a discounted price. When paying for it, I was charged the full price of $3,799 even though the tag clearly said the discounted price. I was asked to go to customer service and request a refund, which I did. Customer service processed the refund and scanned mower one more time to process the payment at the advertised price. For some reason, the listed price was not showing on their system and required an approval from a manager. I waited over an hour for a manager, but no one ever showed up. The second manager (Tom) and the only one at the store that could approve the price reduction was right next to me with another customer. Even though three home depot employees tried having him deal with other matters, he replied that he was with a customer and refused to help anyone else. Mind you that he was next to the person trying to process the payment and it would only taken him less than a minute to enter his code for approval. This was the first time that I required the assistance of a manager, but never knew that the manager there was useless.!!
I was having a pleasant experience until I was harrassed by an older female employee at self-checkout. I was leaving at 10:30 on October 10th. I tried to use one of the scanners but it wasn't working so I moved to the other side. The self-checkout lady said, "You know that's card only, right?" "Yes," I replied. "So which one do you you want to use?!" In a very hostile tone. "This one." "Ok. It's card only. And that's okay?" She sarcastically reiterates. "Yes." I continue and start to scan a piece of lumber until her friend interjects (politely) and tells me I'm scanning the wrong side. I begin to explain that the lumber has been cut. However, the first woman interrupts me. The friend asks me to repeat myself but then the first woman says , "He was saying something about it being cut. I don't know I was trying to listen to him," She then dismissively waves her hand at me and leaves. Her whole tone and body language was sarcastic and hostile like I was doing something even though I never even spoke to her.
I ordered again the same thing!!! I prayed it would be right, of course it wasn't.... I'm a glutton for punishment.. I ordered a pickup order and the server that attended to us was excellent in fact I love her 30% tip.. and when I made it home the steak wasn't as ordered.. can I talk to the ownership of this restaurant to explain to him my complaints without the negativity that has haunted me in the situation and the last one.. once again I ordered a Pittsburgh steak medium rare, and typically it's a rare order but that's why I specifically said that I needed a medium rare.. I know covid has happened in good cooks are hard to come by but I shouldn't be punished for them not having an adequate staff to supply me what I asked for.. I just want to know what I should do in the future to have the correct order or should I say something different.. I post just to make you aware and a prompt y'all to do a better job in the future for people spending their hard-earned money..
I was on hold for 40 minutes to finally get through to a online representative. Everything was going fine until he tried to transfer me where i was immediately hung up on. This is not the first bad experience that i have had with this store. I have had other online orders where a store employee told me to order flooring online and that the store would do a price adjustment since the price on the shelf was not the price online but they could not order it in the store. So once i ordered the flooring thinking i would get the price adjustment i was told no not even after 2 days from placing the order. The guy at the customer service desk was extremely rude about it snickering that its only 60$ well thats 60$ i can spend literally anywhere else. I would hope that this store would at least try to treat their customers better especially one who has spend over 15k at that store alone. It is rather disgusting the customer service at this store.
I do not recommend delivery from this Home Depot. The delivery crew did not call 30 minutes prior to delivery like they were supposed to. They leaned my French Doors up against the side of my house during high winds and heavy rain. They chipped the trim going around the frame of my door assembly and didn't deliver the screen door that I purchased with this order. My second order was a load of lumber that didn't arrive at all. I waited all day for it and it never arrived. I called the store at 8:30 pm to find out what was going on and they informed me that the delivery had been changed to NEXT WEEK. I was not notified of this change at all! For the $79 delivery charge I paid, I could have rented a truck and picked the stuff up myself. I wouldn't have damaged it either. I will never order delivery from Home Depot again. I have never had this problem with Menards or Lowes.
Absolutely horrible place to order appliance. We ordered a range in November, it was delivered 2 and a half months later. Upon delivery, the delivery driver refused to deliver into the door of our choice. He was extremely aggressive, cussed at us, and intentionally threw our stove into his truck and completely damaged it. We notified Home Depot right away, we’re promised a call back from the Appliances Department within 48 and no one called. We followed up ourselves and spoke to Marvin, the Appliances Manager, who did not care about our issue, took no accountability, and wouldn’t do anything to help us. After already having a horrible and disrespectful experience with the delivery, this manager made the situation so much more frustrating. Go to Lowe’s, Menards, Best Buy, or literally anywhere but Home Depot. We will not be returning.
I was worried because on Tictok saying women are mistreated! Well I dont know which one or state there in! But I had a Wonderful time! Ive never seen so many orange shirts! People kept asking if I needed help! And they did! From the Guy in panits to the lady that checked my credit for a Home Depot card which I got!! Then I met Mr. Dowdy Lord help me! I almost ran him over he stopped and he stayed with me till I left. (Im in a handicap chair! I was in a tbone accident) But Anyway This man help me get my frezzer took it down, took it up front got in line while i picked up my paint! Roll it to my truck loaded it!! (I should have hit him and threw him in there) I dont know what Home Depot you all go to! But I wont deal with another! Its a 5 for me!!!
Rude store manger Absolutely worst experience with a company. Ordered a 2k+ Pavillion and the contractor came to install it. Unloaded earthing and missing pieces! Home depot said the only option is to return. Even they can't get it together with their distributors or reach a live human. The store manager was RUDE when I was clearly trying to explain my issue she talked Over me. Cool flex I guess in front of your colleagues. Thanks for no help. At first they told me that I would have to Package everything back up for somebody to come pick it up. I said NO. They can clean this up. Oh the Pavillion also had 8 delays in shipping. Took more than 2 months. Had this happen with a mirror. I'm done with home depot and going where I usually go ------ lowes!!! Oh and the beam was bent
Rude employee. When reported to supervisor, Angela, she was worst than the employee. When first I started explaining the situation, Angela was taking care of some paper work. I realized that she is not paying attention to me, so I told her I can wait until she is done. But insisted that I should continue talking, which gave me the first red flag. After explaining the issue, she then told me to wait until she finishes what she was doing then she can do a price check on her phone She didn't apologize for the rudness of the clerk nor the confusions of different prices from one home depot store to another. I thanked her at the end for her help but had no reply from her. She just left. Poor customer service.
Been to this store once and can't say it's this way all the time, but store seems to be lacking employees. A few of us waited 30 minutes for assistance at the tool rental section before deciding to leave. This after it was announced over the PA system that customers were requiring assistance. Seems like a fully stocked store and wasn't busy when I was there. Anyone looking for a job should apply because it's apparent they need the help. I left empty handed and probably won't be going back as it's a bit of a drive for me. But if you are not requiring special attention for items and plan on using the regular cashiers, you will more than likely have a better experience than I did.
Customer service employees need trained on how to process a buyers account instead of acting like your trying to get over on them. Pro employees don't have a problem finding, and charging the account with the same phone as what was given to customer $$service. . Post Rd Home Depot customer service employees don't have a problem processing it either. This isn't the first time I've had to get material for a job the next morning on short notice and the Pro counter was already closed for the night, and having to check out at the customer service counter only to walk out empty handed cause of them not knowing..A complete waste of time, and gas.
I rented a water pressure washing machine and it stop working while I was using it. I called customer service and I told them what happened and they said to return. I went to return but they told me I couldn't get a full refund because the machine was working when the person working did it(we kept trying at home b4 we came to return). They said maybe if only we arrived within 2 hours but I alrdy within like an hour of usage. They told me there was no record of the class in thier system even though I clearly show them. They ended giving me only half(which is better than nothing)but very bad customer service.
38th Street does not honor the price tag on the item. Went ther to purchase flooring, doors and fixtures for a new home build and they would not honor the price of the flooring. Sticker said $4.10 sq ft and it was in their system as $5.29. Needing 1325 sq ft, the difference was over $1600. The "Proxtra" desk associate Rafaelina had her hands tied and Steve the manager was a waste of time when we had to actually ask him to come down. He said all we can do is $500 off. You can keep your "proxtra" because there's nothing professional about ur service except Refaelina. I'll take my construction loan elsewhere.
I visit this 38th store quite often because it is close to my house even those I can get a price a little cheaper at Menard's. I was quite disappointed with the interaction I had with a sales associate and a department manager today. I simply need a piece if 1x6x8 ripped at 4.25" to match the exiting door molding was damaged with removal. The store happy ripped one for me earlier in the week, but when I needed another piece cut. Its a safety issue that you can't cut a piece smaller than 12 inches . THANK YOU LOWES for cutting the piece for me so I could get it installed and painted tonight.
This is a 5-star review for employees. I have been to this store twice, once inside and once for a phone order curbside pickup. I do not believe I have ever been in a box store-type business (and I'm old so there have been a lot!) where every single employee I encountered was over-the-top friendly and helpful, and that includes employees who went out of their way to offer help. Impressive! I recently had an extreme opposite experience at a nearby box store (not necessarily hardware). I've had a lot of employees so I know good ones when I see them. Keep up the good work!
Had a WONDERFUL experience at this store! Every employee who helped us went above & beyond! They understood what I was looking for when I explained what I am trying to do for my new home. Was greeted by Shay who listened to what I needed & got me to Mrs. “Mamaw” Lynda who stayed w me for my entire shopping experience & took me to everything I needed, who then took me to Eric that assisted me in selecting the right drill & bit set I needed to get the job done. Check was quick & efficient. Store clean & organized. Couldn’t ask for more. We will be back!!! Thank you all!!
Normally I'd give them a 4.5. But don't ever buy paint here. I tried to take back a can of paint that was mixed wrong. I didn't want a pink red, but that's what I got. I even told the guy mixing it that it wasn't what I wanted because it was pinkish not red. He said it would darken. It did to a darker pink tinted color. And that was on the spot he dabbled on the lid. Then when I talked to the paint department they told.mell refs have pink in them. Duh reds a primary color. It only has pink if you add white. So now I have a muddy pink red. Not happy
This is the mostly poorly managed home improvement store in the area, by far. It's been terrible for years. The level of incompetence I just dealt with this afternoon for a pickup order is, honestly- if I told the story here, you'd think I was making it up. Truly unbelievable. Stay away. The Lowe's on 10th is decent, and the one in Brownsburg is very nice. The HD up in Carmel on Michigan is so, so much better than this location. Drive a little further and you'll have a much much much better experience.
Unbelievable bought 3 white bags of concert. Went back to load them. Every single bag was busted open except 1. So I grabbed 2 red bags. Cashier told me returns are made of otherside of store. I wasn't about to make that walk. Left store without my purchase and reverse charges on credit card. Don't shop home depot. Go to menards or Lowe's home improvement. They will treat you much better. (I was hot ) because it's the second time this happened at home depot today.
I stopped in to find some lighting to put in closets. These stick to the wall and turn on like a normal light switch. They run on 3- AAA batteries. I could not find so an employee ashed me if i needed help. Her name was Hind. Very pleasant and helpful. She found them and i needed more than what were available. She scanned the item and found more. Sure was nice to find an employee that will go the extra step to help. Thanks Hind! Keep up the great customer service.
Ok store good variety. Few items were out of stock. Some of their clearance items are actually priced higher then the same item thats not on clearance! Little bit better organization in store would make navigating the store much easier.. too much clutter in isles and alot of associates standing around and walking past customers without greeting of asking if they needed help!. There is definitely Room for improvement in the customer service department!
It's nice too go to a home improvement store and there is stock, I was looking for certain pvc fittings cause I was working on a plumbing job, and the competitor close by didn't have the simple pieces, maybe just because others before me needed the same pieces ♂️ but however here at home depot it obvious that someone thinks ahead and make sure they order enough stock and also they have a great choice of tools ,check out the tool dept.
I've shopped Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards etc for decades - generally all good. The Home Depots in other areas are better. This one always has rude staff who don't seem to know their ... from a hole in the ground. Bait and switch all the time (though lot of this has got to be corporate) and assistant manager is one of the rudest people I've ever met - and I'm from NYC. I will watch my house collapse before I ever buy anything from this store.
Worst experience getting unloaded took over 16 hours. Nobody answered the phone at night after calling and getting answered at 10am was told your next to get unloaded still at 320 getting unloaded talked with store manager and still took another 5 hours he act as if he scared of the workers. Will never return here I hope and pray thus store closes and these workers find a new job because this isn't it.
Was told by cashier that the company will not use a fork lift to take osb to your vehicle unless you buy the entire skid. We were. Able to talk them into doing half a skid. So thats why you get a good review..But we will be buying our osb elsewhere from here on out. To old to hand load 30 sheets to a cart and then to a truck.. Very nice employees but today, your policy lost you two frequent customers.
I purchased a buy 2 batteries get a free tool set online store pickup. The associates couldn't tell me why the tool wasn't showing and I only noticed when they acted like the transaction was completed. The clerk shrugged and said she couldnt fix it. I stormed out to the parking lot and called the manager. Within 20 minutes I had my tool and was good to go but the hassle....makes it 4 stars.
I just wanted to give a major shout out to Tyanne (sorry if I missspelled your name ) who works in the paint department for Her excellent customer service I want to thank her helping me pick out the correct paint for my mother and assisting her on my speaker phone. I really appreciated you today and make sure you get a pay raise and all the accolades you deserve for you excellence.
This store is not taking actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Specifically: (1) No employees were wearing masks; (2) masks were not required for customers; (3) social distancing was not practiced by employees or customers; (4) no efforts were made (that I saw) to disinfect surfaces or objects. On the bright side, all employees we talked to were very friendly and helpful.
Coming from someone who isn't very handy, and often struggles with DIY home-improvement, the staff here is THE BEST. I forgot to leave a positive review for him via the link on the receipt, but David was tremendously helpful and has a great sense of humor. He's one of the most good-natured people I've ever met, and he made a daunting shopping experience into a nice evening.
Very poor the guy didnt know anything about the tractor we were looking at.i was disappointed in him .the tractor was used not cleaned off his department was a mess. Gas was still in the tank. He couldn't fine the booklet for the tractor or if they carried the parts. He was rude to my mom only would talk to my hubby . Mom was looking to buy .we didnt get one . Still looking
One of the best experiences ever. They were closing and took the extra time to make sure my needs were met. Calming me allowing me to have one of the best checkout experiences in my 35 years of life. This home depot has a loyal customer for life because of it. With all seriousness home depot Inc. should be very thankful to have such an awesome staff!!
Went there to buy an electric lawnmower but happened to be in the right place at the right time because they had just got a shipment of chest freezers. Purchased the Magic Chef 5cu ft that had an internal LED light. Best feature for a freezer...now you can see what's in it without a flashlight (like my grandmothers old freezer in the dark basement)
Angela I. At store 2014 Has earned this review for the wonderful customer service she has helped us with . I had purchased a good size online order. There were some issues with the items I received. She made it right . In doing so she has kept us happy home depot customers. Home depot should be proud of its hard working associates . Thank you
Hadn't been to a Home Depot in years! Employees all seemed genuinely glad we were there & willing to help! Very impressed with the number of handicapped carts available...so much better than: (*1 always broken one, 1 working & one wobbling along if you can find it at Avon hardware that begins with L!). Lights bright. Prices on barns were steep!
It's pricey, but a lot of selection. Maybe better than Menards, they focus on food and other none building items. As usual,my deal is the staff,I have been going there for 10 yrs and the staff will not let me forget they are there to help and ne friendly. I know not politically correct but the females there will give me compliments and flirt.
First time visiting this Home Depot, I only wished I could have gotten the names of the 2 ladies this morning that helped me out, (5/2/21) @ around 11 or 11:30am they both made me feel like I mattered, So here's to the Beautiful Ladies who seem to enjoy where they work and to really care about customer service...A Very Big Thank You
I don't mind this location. The inventory seems up to par with the rest of the HDs I've been to. But the lack of employee knowledge about where stuff is and what things are is lacking. Most of them seem like they are going through the motions. The last time I was there the paint department was pretty bad in terms of customer service.
Worst experience ever!! The tool rental department is worthless, they didn't check my machine and it didn't work and made me waste a whole day worth of work. Wasted my time and money, never again if I could give zero stars I would. No one that works here cares about the customer please save yourself the trouble and shop at Lowe's.
NEEDED a few plumbing items for a wife inspired job. Home Depot has everything you need to do any plumbing job. Love home depot. We wanted a new toilet for a guest bath so we ordered a Devonshire 2 piece one to match our pedestal sink. Installation was easy but I needed a few more parts and Home depot had everything I needed
Went there to see about getting fencing and no one wanted to help us. We asked 3 different people and they kept passing us off to someone else. One person when we asked for his help he dropped his head and started rubbing his eyes, you could plainly tell he didn't want to be bothered. Won't go back to that store!
This place is lacking in service. I politely requested assistance in plumbing 2x and patiently waited over 30 minutes with no help or assitance in sight. I saw multiple employees at this facility however no one actual helping customers. Except the ladies at check out. Not good place to go if u require some help.
Tried using them fo my kitchen remodel. All I got was pushed to hurry hurry and buy these cabinets while there on sale.then waited 3 months and they never sent anyone to install.. here we are 8 months later and I ordered countertops and paid them for install and same thing no body will contact me to install
I love Home Depot because they have a better selection than Lowe’s most of the time and right now as far as it comes to customer service and going in there and needing help Home Depot and Lowe’s doesn’t have very good help they may be understaffed but when I go to Menards I never have a problem getting help
I'm 2 minutes away from this store and I absolutely love it! Everything from the products to the always friendly & very helpful staff. My wife & I love to shop the always extensive plant section, good stuff & fair priced. I reccomend this location for any home improvement project, indoors or out.
Friendly staff, usually swift with check-outs. Only issue I've had thus far is online inventory not matching whats there. I'm betting no one bought 4 18" chainsaws... more likely the associate I asked for help just didn't want to look. But 1 complaint out of dozens of trips isn't so bad.
This 5 star is for Shay at customer service desk. You are so good at helping me when you couldn’t find it in the computer at your store, even looked up to see if other stores have it and then physically walked to that specific isle because coworker were busy. Gurl, you rock!!! …
Was ignored way too long at customer service desk. Refund refused and given a store credit. Notwithstanding what the receipt had said. Walked briefly through the store. Couldn't bring myself to spend the credit (yet). Overall, they've lost another customer. Unpleasant experience.
I literally can't get enough of this store. Every single time I go in it I just feel the need to remodel everything in my home. The employees are wonderful and extremely helpful. My children even lived going here when they did the DIY kid shops the first Saturday of the month.
This is more about the lack of motivation from the workers. 4 people pointing you to self checkout, but 1 person with a lane open! Then the attitude when I tell one lady I don't work here, so where's the discount for me ringing myself out? Other than that the store is fine.
Not very good customer service. They gentlemen there watched me and my sister carry out dry wall and load her truck by ourselves. Didn't offer any kind of assistance. And secondly. How do u work for home depot and have not the slightest idea about what a dry wall screw is!
This place is just existing... not to serve its actual customers. We had to aggressively find floor staff to purchase appliances. It seemed to pain them to even help, which translates to me, they don't need any sales. Don't even waste your time, go to Menards or to Lowe's.
Home Depot indianapolis indiana on High school Rd. What an amazing store here if you forget your mask Home Depot gives for free. Amazing shop with Amazing employees!!! SHERRI she's such a good, knowledgeable, will perk up your Day. Every company should have a Sherri !!
The paint dept has the worst service anywhere.. rude...annoyed they had to look away from facebook...gave my paint to another customer then was like I guess I will mix it again. And in noooo hurry...literally sauntered to get the paint still looking at the phone. Omg
Bought a husky wrench, let my boss borrow it the next day and he broke it, before I even got to use it. They felt so bad for me they swapped me for a brand new one! Only joking it's lifetime warranty, but seriously only took like five minutes, no hassle in and out.
Went for a mini deep freezer, unfortunately I payed with all ones I had been saving. The cashier was , temporarily 1 handed, trying to count 230.00 in one's, that was a job for her. Po lil tinc tinc , other than that, she had a pleasant attitude. Good job.. …
Purchased a new plant baby. I was disappointed with the indoor plant selection. Many of the plants seem neglected and either under watered or ridiculously over watered. They need to do better or Clarence them out so people can take the plants home and revive them
Went in to look at carpet with a friend who lives by this Home Depot, and the associate who helped us was amazing! His name is David, and he gave me all the info I needed to order the carpet when I was ready to start my project. Thank you David! You made my day!
From the moment I walked in the door to the point of loading my cat with the shelving units, there was an associate there to help. The cashier was friendly as well. I was able to get everything I went there for and was in and out on Easter Sunday fairly quickly.
The products I was looking for were in stock and where the website had them located in the store (so I did not have to wander the store looking for what I wanted). Self check out was simple and quick, but there were associates nearby if assistance was needed.
Could make it more user friendly when walking into store cause you know majority of customers don't know which isles have what. Should have season ready products near entrance and exit doors. Example bags of salt and shovels for current season weather. Etc.
Typical Christmas! Ordered a Headboard, and the bolts do not fit the bedframe. So, I went to Home Depot for help! Once I explained the problem, he knew exactly what size bolts are needed. He solved the issue within 5 minutes. Thank you Home Depot!!!
I found exactly what I needed, the reason for 3 stars is when I was checking out the self checkout attendant rudely scoffed at me for not accepting a HOME DEPOT cars. I unfortunately needed to leave asap and did not have time to accept the offer.
It's confusing how the store is laid out. I guess I'm just used to that other place. You know the one. There is good prices at Home Depot, but usually find a better price somewhere else. Overall a great store, but always room for improvement. :D
Just look at the place. Trash everywhere, it's on 38th so I didn't expect much. Never had an experience i really enjoyed. Went to buy a tool today and after 15 minutes still no one came to unlock it. I'll just order from Amazon. What a dump...
They sold me hand sanitizer that has been expired since 9/2019. It’s not dangerous to use but sanitizer does lose effectiveness past its expiration. Way to use a health crisis to offload your expired products. It should have been thrown out
Came in to get a pro press fitting for work. Easy in and out visit. Everyone was polite and great. However, Alexis stood out the most with her willingness to help at a busy self checkout line. Definitely had the best smile in the store and
Please don't order anything online from Home Depo. I ordered a freezer and was suppose to come in a month. The item has been pushed back twice. Home Depo lied about when I will receive my order for a freezer. I understand with Covid-19 but
This Home Depot is one of my favorites in Indy. Being a contractor, I've been to everyone in and around the city and hands down this one is the most convenient with an extremely helpful staff!(unlike MANY corporate hardware stores)! Being
You do not buy Anything To have some put an order, They are no good and time they tell you , When you order are so late the only answer you get it is I give you back your money, Yes they do not working with you so get a fixed problem.
Decent delivery spot can't fault them for cars leaving via the truck entrace/exit nor the employee not showing up. With all that I was unloaded quickly and gone and the ease of getting there from the highway was just as easy leaving.
Bought a Westinghouse 28.000 peak watt generator online. Same price as Amazon. Weighs 573 lbs or so. Came in 4 days. They loaded it on my trailer with a forklift so I never had to pick it up. Good customer service. Good generator.
If you're a do it yourself seller or contractor, they can take care of you. They got all kinds of materials and supplies. They even got appliances and lighting and household essentials like tissue, laundry detergent, etc..
Willie in customer service was so kind and helpful today with my large order. I am very grateful For his diligence and patience in helping me find my water. It was a small mix up that was fixed very quickly thanks to him!!
When I go to purchase brand new equipment, I expect it to look brand new. Almost everything at this home depot is damaged or scuffed in some way and filthy dirty. Its like buying used gear at a garage sale for full price.
Like going to this location cause I always get excellent associates service’s. They’re very helpful and knowledgeable. Always have some good sales going on and at check out don’t gotta be waiting in line forever.
I don't remember what I came for this day, but the only reason why I go to Home Depot is if the Menards or Lowes near me don't have the parts I need. Home Depot is good for not having what the other ones do.
Worst company ever Home Depot and magic home I’m going to report you guys everywhere and y'all bank too cause you guys thieves instead of refund me my money back you guys took money from me again yesterday
I can’t believe that a manager refused to cut a pice of wood and instead told us to go to Menards. Unbelievable how a manager send us to a competitor. This was at The Home Depot on 38th and High School Rd
Didn't have what I was looking for but the lady who acknowledged me was super sweet, kind and exceptionally polite. She actually was incredible and if I wasn't in such a hurry I would have gotten her name.
I typically like the HD on Michigan Rd. But I have to say this location seemed brighter and the aisles less cramped. I got my kn line order and 2 other items bought in store quickly and friendly service.
This particular location can be hard to get into and out of the parking lot due to the congested roads nearby and the medians. Otherwise, it's Home Depot.. once you are inside it's the same as always.
Website and store inventory is never correct. Been there twice recently to look at appliances that website said were on display. Neither one was. Waste of time and gas. Recommend only online ordering.
The clerk was extremely helpful as I was there to get keys made. She showed and assisted me with the process and checked me out when I was finished. The keys fit great and worked great. Very cool!
Delivery was a real mess. They finally refunded my money for delivery fee after three days of telling me my stuff was arriving the same day. Nice people a the front desk made it right in the end.
They have most of the stuff I want. They do lack some more specific supplies, like a shovel sharpener for instance. Their plant selection is decent, but Lowe's tends to have a better selection.
We had actually rented a Penske moving truck through Home Depot, the staff was kind and helpful. The truck was well taken care of and the prices were competitive. Great overall experience.
Excellent experience today buying a Rheem water heater. Every part necessary was in stock and ready. New heater up and running in an hour. Thanks for stocking Rheem quality products.
Good place to buy. Associates know where everything is that helps a lot I go almost every day. I highly appreciate the help thanks home depot. 110% recommend. Keep the good work.
The aisles are cluttered, hard to navigate thru with cart. Over half of staff does not understand plain rnglish.wanted to look at lawn sweepers and they pointed me to the brooms.
Always clean, and the staff are helpful. Sometimes its is hard to find a worker, though. Use the Home Depot app to locate items and avoid wandering, unless that is your thing.
My favorite of the three big box stores there's always someone there that can answer a question that you might have where with the other two places you might not be so lucky.
An employee in the lawn and garden area named Fatimah went SO FAR above my normal expectations to help me today. I had to write a review to thank her. A+ Thank you, Fatimah.
