Home Depot advertises “Same Day Installation” if you order before noon for their water heaters. The house we rent out to tenants had their water heater break Sunday morning, so we placed our order with Home Depot on Sunday, understanding that they don’t do installations that day but assumed it would be done Monday because of the “Same Day” policy. We were told to expect a call early Monday morning, no one called. When we followed up with the store, they said someone would reach out within the next couple of hours. No one did. After finally calling around everywhere (transfers, holds, and given various phone numbers), someone told us they would be out to do the measurement later in the day and if everything went well, they’d proceed with the installation. Someone finally came by in the afternoon to do the measurement but said there was no time to do the installation. We were told that our order should show up in the work schedule the following day (Tuesday/today), so we requested that it be done in the morning as this is an emergency situation. The installers made note of it and left. When we called this morning, our address was not on their work list schedule and couldn’t provide further information. When we reached the store, no one there was of any help and couldn’t explain what was going on because they don’t deal with it, it’s the installers that do. Then we get a call from the store that our initial quote was wrong because the Home Depot associate on Sunday forgot to charge a labour fee, so our installation fee went from an estimated $480 to $590 because of their mistake (the associate had quoted that most installations cost around $500, so I’m not sure how he was off by almost $100). Now we’re being told that *maybe* someone will be sent out tomorrow to do the installation. My dad has taken off work each day this week to get this sorted out and be there when the installers come, meanwhile Home Depot has just been giving us the run around. Had we known that the installation fee was that much and that they were incapable of doing the installation within a set time frame (same day?), we would’ve gone with another company. Does Home Depot plan on giving us any sort of compensation for all their mistakes, delays, missed work time, and inconveniences to the people going without hot water for days now? I doubt it, but I’ll update the review more positively if they do. As it stands now, I’ll be sure to tell everyone to stay away from using their services if they are unable to resolve and apologize for this accordingly. Those that were considering using their installation services – look elsewhere.

My old review with "4 stars" 10 months ago... "Would have been 5 stars...ecommerce site sucks." Now... I submitted an online order today before 1pm. I requested - and paid for - an express order, to b delivered in under 3 hours. Why? I had a crew waiting on an installation at the site, and, we needed the materials to complete the job. At 4:45pm, I called the Ancaster store to ask where my order was. After about 10 minutes, and, the person who took the call walking back to the "staging" area, and, after finding the order in the system... she finally came back and told me that it was not allocated to Ancaster, but to Centennial Parkway. Apparently, they don't even know which store has the order! I told the person that my staff on site were leaving at 5pm, and, there would be nobody there to receive it after that. The store I selected to use was ANCASTER. Definitively. At 5:03 pm, I was told I would have to call the Centennial Park store to trace my order. I told her that this as unacceptable, and, that I am not calling around to locate my order; I know where I placed it. I asked her to have the Centennial Parkway store call me right away... it is now 5:26pm. No call. No idea where my order is. Nobody at the site any longer to receive it. No idea if it is coming, or, if I should cancel it order somewhere else. Home Depot, apparently, has no clue where my order is, and, cannot be bothered to call me back.... who suffers? My client. And me; paying staff to stand around waiting on an order that never came, and, appears to be lost, after paying for "express delivery." Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened. I spent about $75k in HD last year; this year a lot less, for these reasons and more, Moving forward, I will continue looking for alternatives with better service, and, more organization. Do yourself a favour; shop somewhere else if you can.

I had an experience ordering a A/C unit back in the summer of 2021, during the heat wave. I had ordered the unit online, expecting a delivery within the estimated time stated. Long story short, it took several days after the date stated and it was delivered by a 3rd party (a Transport Company). It was delivered, I had to pay the driver to bring it up to my apartment (due to COVID). Th A/C unit was crated, appeared to no damage, upon opening the back of unit was damaged. The metal on back had small dents on the “fins” of unit. It still worked, but had already signed for it. I tried complaining to Home Depot via online customer service, but I was basically talking to a “bot”. I complained on another post on Home Depot about my situation. My problem was recognized, acknowledged and resolved by someone at Home Depot. They reached out to me on PM and gave me a generous gift certificate for my troubles and damages. This showed me excellent customer service follow up, and gave me more faith and trust in a merchant. Not like some other large stores. Thank-You Home Depot ** on this date 08/09/2023 at 4:30 P.M. I had originally ordered something online for pickup at store-Unfortunately I had to change my order, went to Customer Service and was pleasantly served by a female clerk I didn’t get her name (had glasses l) maybe late 50.’s? Anyway she rectified my order within minutes, posted my return on my credit card, and even gave me some help (from a young male staff) carried to my car. All done within 15-20 minutes. Very pleasurable experience at Home Depot today. Kudos to Management for hiring competent staff, lady even offered me a seat, after listening to me whining about my disability. Thank-You! I’ll definitely be back to this Home Depot again if I ever need something!

Think twice before you purchase appliances from Home Depot. The installation service they contract out is horrendous. If you don't mind them not showing up, meeting their window or just forget about you, then Home Depot is your store. Not only did they forget to show up to install my dishwasher on the date they scheduled, I had to track them down and be left on hold everytime and to hear a different excuse each time and then be told they forgot. So now they want to give me yet another day and window and my dishwasher has been sitting in the middle of my kitchen and obviously my other one is broke. So the day is now spent finding another installer, someone to remove the old dishwasher and chalking this day as a waste of time. They take advantage of their customers and they just care about the same. Customer service calls and says we will compensate you...I asked in which way will I be compensated? Their answer...we will set another time for next week!!! That is not compensation. What happened to customer service? Home Depot doesn't care as they are so big they get away with this. Also they disclosed to me on the phone in 2 separate conversations that their installer is being checked for covid. What kind of company discloses employee health privacy to customers or anyone for that matter? Save yourself this level of frustration and buy your appliances somewhere where they are professional and guarantee what they say instead of just accepting your money. I am sure the response I receive from this review will be along the lines of: sorry to hear you had a bad experience, please call us at a customer service line so we can discuss this. And then get nothing g accomplished. I will never buy an appliance from Home Depot again.

Ordering anything from Home Depot is an absolute nightmare and disaster. You can pretty much assume that it won't be done correctly, that you will have huge delays and that there will be not even an apology offered. I ordered garage doors last year, which I had to re-order 3 times and had to wait an extra 4 months! I just ordered appliances yesterday, they had to repeat the transaction 3 times in-store before I left only to get a call today that they put in the wrong postal code and that they've sent my appliances to the wrong carrier. They advised that I go into the store and get a full refund and order everything again. I went into the store and after an hour of fumbling on the computer system, they couldn't issue me a refund and told me to come back again tomorrow. I guess I have nothing better to do than come in everyday to Home Depot to try and order a fridge...totally illogical how this can be this hard. I just want a full refund so I can go elsewhere, but even that's a challenge. If you have all the patience and time in the world, go for it. If you need something done right, at least in the first 3 tries, steer clear of this place!!!! UPDATE: I went back to the Home Depot today. After another hour and several people trying to figure out how to offer me a refund...it couldn't be completed --shocking right? I wonder how many more tries it will take. In all honestly, there has to be something broken along the way...it's either the system or lack of staff training, I don't know. Anyway, after much aggravation, I still don't have appliances and I only have $9,000 in debt to show for it, frustrating to say the least.

Good price for appliances. DELIVERY IS HORRIBLE! Bought a Frigidaire French Door to replace my Bosch French Door. Driver walks up and says fridge won’t fit. I asked him to come in to see the Bosch already in the kitchen - delivered through the same door and larger! With a bit of effort on their part but mostly us (took front door off, mail box, screen door hinge) the fridge was delivered to our kitchen. Driver pulled out delivery papers to sign and fridge was sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor. Not levelled, not hooked up, not assembled. He called Home Depot to say we wouldn’t sign and put “Rachel” on speaker phone who informed us that the existing waterline had to be less than 6ft from the fridge and on the same level. Our waterline comes up from the floor in the spot for the fridge, which meets the requirements (there is no paperwork for this stipulation that “Rachel”cited over and over again for hookup) Would not hook up existing waterline, did not level the fridge and left door handles on my counter. French doors were not even. If delivery knew how to do their job, they could have told us the doors get levelled once the fridge cabinet is in place and levelled. Photo shows existing waterline. Home Depot’s solution is to deliver another fridge 2 weeks later. If delivery did their job as stated on the Home Depot website this wouldn’t have happened. **Contacted Home Depot Canada via Facebook as suggested by the response on that platform and steps were taken to help solve the situation I was left with from the delivery experience.

Worst customer service provided by maria today @ 8:40pm. First she sent us to the checkout lane#8 from self serve checkouts even though all lanes were empty and she was just standing there doing nothing. Then no idea what came to her mind and she came to another lane & started scanning our products like she just want us out. We purchased around 60 of the Rubber pavers. I only asked her politely if there is a possibility of any discounts as we were getting them at another store for cheaper price. I was just about to show her the price at another store on my phone to do a price match but She was so rude and just walked away with no willingness to talk or even finish the checkout process. She just abandoned us there and we had to move to another lane for the checkout again after looking and waiting for her for 5mins. We had two full heavy carts that we were just dragging between 2 lanes. I understand I asked for discount only because home depot is best in doing price match but where is her customer service skills to put customer service at priority. Honestly i felt she was like this just because we were the only asian customers in the line and she was being racist in her behaviour. I wanted to leave everything there and walk out but only thinking of other staff will have to suffer to put everything back again. I just went ahead with the transaction. Please put Maria to some trainings to deal with customers well. Manager should check in the camera how rude she is to customers and her fellow employees.

I was in the Ancaster location this morning buying some plumbing parts and a small drill bit. When I asked the lady for some assistance for a drill bit, I found that her demeanor was not approachable at all. The attitude on her face was almost like I was a bother. Wrong person to ask. 2nd issue I went to the cashier to pay for my items. I would assume when done scanning, a offer of " would you need a paper bag for these items". Instead she picked up and left to social with her other cashiers in the corner. Now my due diligence was to get every item but I accidentally left the drill part at the cash. If I was offered a bag, I I would have had everything inside it. i arrive home to do my project and I noticed I did not have my drill bit that I purchased. I called the store and spoke to Customer service and they found the bit and put it aside for me to pick up. Which I was grateful. When I arrived to the store, I went to customer service..showed them my receipt of purchase. I decided to return the bit as I no longer needed it. The reaction on the lady's face was unacceptable, as it seemed to bother her that I was returning it. I even told her I'm purchasing another items at the store.which cost more than that drill bit. Bottom line, I refuse to go back to your location. I find the stoneycreek location(centennial) is a lot better much more polite. Maybe a learning lesson needs to be taught to your employees. Remember it's the customers that pay your salaries.

Buyer beware life proof carpet. Over priced inferior carpet. Staff will not inform you of correct warranty details. The warranty will cost you a fair bit if money every 12-18 months. We were lied to an told 12 months. We regret this purchase every day. We are due diligence people and after many conversations with staff and visits to the store we were definitely deceived. If you are buying on a promo price again buyer beware they won't tell you there is a max dollar amount to your discount. When it came time to cleaning it was the most frustrating thing ever. I wanted to buy a service and a month later no one was willing to help me. I called customer service 4 times and tried to call the store who never seems to answer the phone. When I finally got through and asked for a manager it was a 20 min wait and then disconnected. I did find someone at head office that quickly resolved the problem. This purchase and cleaning should not have been this difficult..... do your home work before buying. We have bought more carpet from another company since then and over all it a great experience, better carpet at a better price.

Three hour express delivery is blatant scam. We had ordered for pickup, but after hearing it will take over 48 hours we opted to go with the express delivery option as advertised and paid the fee. After 6 hours of not hearing anything, I contacted via the text tool to speak to someone since they are so busy during the pandemic, which is fine. They replied stating they will get back to me in about 45 min. 2 hours later, still nothing. I called the store and they called me back eventually stating that there is no express delivery since it is so busy with covid. Which would be fine, except they advertise it as 3 hour delivery on their website when ordering, on their phone message that you have to listen to when calling the store, and on the confirmation e mail. It all stated that they have 3 hour delivery. Disappointed in Home Depot for lying to their customers. I get that this is a hard time for them and extremely busy, but if they were just honest then customers wouldn't be disappointed. Will reconsider purchasing from them in the future if this is how they treat their customers.

Went to home depot after waiting over a half hour to receive any kind of help at the new rona (lowes) in brantford, only to be treated horribly by staff and then manager, for interrupting staffs breaks. As soon as I walked into home depot, I was greeted by someone asking if I needed any help finding anything. I said yes, and the person took me to the section, and showed me what I needed, explained how to install it, then walked me over to hardware dept and talked to another assistant to tell him I need concrete screws. He smiled as he said this gentleman was gonna take care of my needs and said have a good day. I got the correct items, and went through check out where I was once again greeted by a smiling person, who also told me to have a nice day. Even though my anger and stress dissipated as soon as I was greeted at door, the way I was treated by all involved made my experience at home depot an enjoyable one. I will be going there for all my building supplies for our new home from this time forward.

On two occasions I order large items from Home Depot Ancaster, and the customer service and errors were appalling. The first time I ordered a fridge. I researched Home Depot products online before going to the store, took a picture of the one I wanted on my phone to the customer service person in refrigeration, and she promptly ordered the wrong one. When we attempted to correct the wrong, they said I would have TWO FRIDGES on my Home Depot card until this was resolved. I ordered a patio set that was delivered to my home. I arranged for it to be returned and ordered a second better set. The first set was picked up, THEN DELIVERED BACK TO ME 6 DAYS LATER!!!!! The delivery guy said this happens all the time. Once again I had TWO PATIO SETS ON MY HOME DEPOT card due to their error. I was CHARGED INTEREST FOR 2 PURCHASES EACH TIME. At first I thought it was a one time error, now I’m thinking it’s their way of doing business. Beware of Home Depot. Incompetence and poor customer service are rampant there.

Ordered a bathroom vanity on line. It came when it was supposed to and the delivery man placed it where we wanted it kept until our installer could put it in later. Outr guy put it in one day when we were away. All the info said it had soft closing doors. It doesn't so off we go to Home Depot. The person at customer service desk said she didn't even know what soft close doors are but she'd get someone who does. A few minutes later and Charlie arrived. He went to look at display model and says it doesn't have them either. We showed him the specs while customer service lady looked it up on their site. All info said it should have them. Charlie takes us to the bath section and introduces us to Katherine. Explained it all again. With no argument they gave us the proper hinges. A great amount of kidding between them which we were part of. Turned into a pleasant experience. A big thank you to Katherine and Charlie as we really expected Home Depot to tell us tough luck.

Wish I could give this zero stars. Their truck/van rental system makes no sense at all. I made a reservation for Tuesday, had to cancel it because a work thing came up, and rebooked for Wednesday. There was no way to cancel online, so I called and they said they would cancel my Tuesday reservation. I get an email Monday night saying my truck for Tuesday is booked and the rental on Wednesday is cancelled. I go to the store to sort it out. The guy tells me that he will rebook me for Wednesday, but that availability is never confirmed until the morning of and that I should "always have a backup plan". What's the point of even booking through Home Depot if you can't guarantee the van you book is even going to be there until four hours before the pickup time? Very disappointed, especially since it was not worded clearly in the email. Don't try to book a van through Home Depot.

I am a loyal customer and shareholder of home depot. I've been to almost every homedepot in the entire GTA area. But this one is my worst impression. Their price tags are often misprinted and refuse to match prices. Also I want to share a bad experience that I used a previous day receipt from a friend and went to the homedepot to do a price match. With the receipt in hand, the cashier opened that store's website, looked for the item, and checked the price. Even if the date is printed on the receipt, the product name and model, and the date. But she did it in front of my face anyway. I feel like she's trying to humiliate me because I saved a total of $12 from two different items. I even thought about dropping the receipt and walking away. . . This is a treatment I have never had in any store. In any case, I can go to other home depots, I will not choose this store again.

The home depot ancaster location , tools rental department employee knowledge are suck. I rented the carpet cleaning machine few days before , it didn't work properly i complain them ,and they charge me 2 times ,but both times are same problem. I was there this morning ,explain them ,and they said this is not the machine problem ,probably my carpet wasn't clean properly before i used the machine. I told them i cleaned 3 times, again they are saying something that doesn't make any sense. My whole basement carpet was absolutely clean , now its all over stain and bad smell. It is very frustrating . Before you rent pls talk with them properly. They are absolutely unprofessional and lack of knowledge. Only thing they know to get customer money. Only responsible guy i find out is Mohammad who works there. I showed them the video of my carpet after cleaning , its a disaster.

I had a horrible experince with rental department. When I return a truck which was full tank, the lady working there ask me to fill the gas from the nearby gas station. I already filled gas for 50 bucks from an esso which was 10 -14 km away from the home depot and showed the receipt too.But she told me to go and fill the gas from a nearby gas station. As I was getting late for work, I refused to go and fill the "full" tank again.She charge me an extra $30 + tax from my account.There is no point of deducting that much money.I think it was better to return the truck without filling the gas so that I wont lose that 50 bucks... I had rented out the truck from cambridge home depot before, and they were polite to accept the same. Really horrible.. Never come back again.

I had previously ordered window treatments but unfortunately the order was incorrect. So, I went to Home Depot to get the issue resolved and had the absolute pleasure in dealing with staff member Samantha. Samantha went above and beyond to correct my window treatment order. I have since gone back to order more blinds and made sure I dealt with Samantha again. I have complete confidence in her knowledge, skills and abilities. You can see that she really cares and wants to do the best job possible for her customers. She is a definite asset to Home Depot and I would gladly deal with Samantha over and over again. Keep up the good work Samantha!!!

The customer service at this store is absolutely perfect. I ordered a BBQ on line went to pick it up only to find the pre holes were not in the right spot. I worked on it for a few hours only to get frustrated. I phoned the store and spoke to Tommy who advised me what to do . Than when I brought the product back to the store I dealt with Janice at customer service. She was so wonderful from the time I approached the desk until I left. I could not be more thankful to speak with someone who was so kind and put together a new order for me. Thank you so much Tommy and Janice for helping in a day gone wrong to a perfect day.

I requested a contractor from them to come and do gas measurement for my gas stove and they sent me a plumbing person. Then they reschedule my appointment by themselves to May 20 and told me that’s they earlier they can get for me. I waited for hours at home and delayed all my day schedules. The reason they gave me when I contacted customer service is that they are overwhelmed with installations. Well... that’s not my problem and they had to be more accurate with these services, we are busy too and have our own responsibilities. I ended up refunding my installation fee I paid. I don’t recommend them to any customer.

I planned my entire kitchen with Lisa from Home Dept Ancaster, who was always very attentive and helpful. However, in the service of placing the kitchen countertop, Home Depot referred me to a partner company ( Stone Worx) of theirs to do the service. Their employee damaged m vinyl floor and so far no one has fixed it. He told several times that he will come to fix it but till now nothing solved. I have the damage. They call me to find out about happened but no one comes to solve the situation. I am very upset about this situation and tired of waiting for the solution. It's not fair to the customer.

Very bad customer service provide by Maria today. I am a regular customer here but no one put this kind of customer service behaviour in front of me. She was extremely rude with no willingness to help. We simply asked her to do a price match, but she just walked away and abandoned us without helping in the checkout. Better to go with another store or with Lowes. Manager please check the cameras on checkout number 8. That lady’s behaviour was kind of racist. I recommend to all asians not to go there, because you don’t know when you have to face same situation. Waiting for manager’s response.

I purchased an appliance warranty from Home Depot. My fridge broke and the LG warranty team came to my home to fix the appliance and when they were doing so they broke 2 tiles in my kitchen. The LG warranty team has not addressed our concerns other then saying it’s with their legal team since May. Home Depot then got their adjusters involved and after assuring us that they would make sure there was a favourable resolution. They have now ignored us as well. I would recommend you avoid purchasing a warranty or LG products as this is how you can expect to be treated as a loyal customer.

Won't ever deal with them again, pathetic company..I paid 1600 dollars for an appliance 4 weeks ago, that they told me they had in stock( they didn't) they then sent installers 10 days later, but there was nothing here for them to install !! They called last week said they were coming this past Saturday between 8am and noon...they simply never showed up!!! They called me and told me delivery was today, 9am and noon..they jus called and said they are pushing back the time between 3pm and 7pm..but they also said they can't get installers to me before June 24th..this company is a joke

This is one of the best Home Depot's around, been shopping here for years. One of the main reasons I visit this one and have been a long time customer is because of Mark (the store manager). He is both an employee and a great manager. Every time I shop at Home Depot he greets me in with a big smile on his face and asks me if there is anything he can do for us. This automatically makes my day. He is super knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this Home Depot to everyone. If you want the best shopping experience, ask for the manager, Mark. You'll see what I'm talking about.

My family used this Home Depot to get an old washing machine taken back for us. They also delivered our new washing machine. The two men who did it were amazing. They went above and beyond. Honestly I don’t know how we would have managed it without them. They dealt with a very tight and awkward space. They were so kind about it! Which made us feel at ease. Very delicate and careful too. We also used the same service about a month ago to get a fridge taken out. And a new one brought in. Again very tight spaces and the delivery men were incredible. Highly recommend them.

Waited in electrical twice this week 1st time 20 minutes couldn't find anyone second time waited 10 minutes then had someone tried to reach electrical tried for five minutes and couldn't get a response. Talked to customer service which was another wait with no one there and wanted to speak to Tom who says he's always willing to talk . They couldn't reach him 5 minutes later tried again but now he's on a conference call second time I've heard that excuse. Not blaming the people I talked to,not enough knowledgeable staff and definitely no accountable managers.

Marconi in the plumbing department was so incredible in assisting my boyfriend and I with our at home bathroom reno questions. He is so polite, knowledgable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my boyfriend had everything he needed and fully understood how to use each item safely and how to properly install each item to properly complete our project. Gary from hardware should just have "I don't know" pinned to his chest rather than his name tag. It would be more useful than he was. What tools are part of this promotion? "I don't know" Where can I find them? "I don't know" You told me if i purchased this sander, I'd get a free battery, why isn't it scanning at the register? "I don't know" Can you be more useless? "I don't know" For the record, i don't care if you don't know... just maybe try to find out or ask a coworker? or... do anything other than stare at me with a blank face

Don’t believe Home Depot when they say they can get you the appliances you ordered in. They will charge you and fill you with hope and then call you the day before and say sorry. 3 weeks later-in the end we still didn't receive our refrigerator however customer service bent over backwards trying to help us. Home Depot is at the mercy of the manufacturer like all retailers it seems. I changed my review to 4 stars as I feel Home Depot did their best to help me but due to circumstances out of their control they could not supply.

Today, Dec5. 23, I’m at Ancaster Home Depot checking out window blinds, feeling uncertain when I hear this friendly and pleasant voice asking me if I need any help, which of course I did. From there everything became clear and smooth by Samantha’s assistance. Putting me at ease, Samantha who seemed very aware, patient and friendly managed to figure out my needs and helped me in a very kind and professional manner. I have just gone through the process of planning and ordering a custom kitchen with The Home Depot (Ancaster) and I cannot express how pleased I am. Sherry was amazing to work; she is very knowledgeable about all the products and the installation process. She answered all of our questions and provided valuable suggestions and tips. She continuously provided us with an updated layout through the entire process, and usually on the fly. She was extremely professional and patient (and fun too!). I highly recommend.

Horrible experience. I put my items down for a second and a worker took them and I’m guessing put them back, when other workers saw me place these items down and let them know I will be back. The products in the aisles need to be put back rather than customers items. I then had to run all over the store again and the workers did not assist me in retrieving any of them items. Workers here have lots of attitude and don’t want to help at all. Home Depot in store experiences used to be much better.

Worst return policy. I bought railing from Home Depot for my porch which we end up not using it and took it back after over three months and got a store credit of $370. Later I bought some stuff for renovation using that credit. Some of that stuff I had to return but home depot refused to take it back and said because I used store credit to purchase it so it can’t be returned even though I had the receipt. This is insulting and ridiculous. Will never buy anything from Home Depot again.

Always a super helpful place. I love that most of the people are knowledgeable. My nephew enjoys the workshop kits. He's 6 and always asks if he could work on one of the projects they have for kids that are free. I only have it 4 stars because there seems to always be confusion with delivery. Sometimes the companies they outsource to are not always the greatest. I think when you outsource you have to be so careful as the attitude of workers still represent your company

Came here just to say that Gary in the home appliances section is awesome! We were looking for a new washer and dryer and he was exceptionally helpful in answering all of our many questions, and was very knowledgeable about the different options and various features. We felt that he gave us good, honest advice, and made the entire buying process very easy and stress free. He even gave us his contact information for any additional questions/concerns. I was just wondering why the snow blower we purchased in the store is already out of the box when delivered to our house? I hope it’s not the floor model they sent us!!! We’re not even sure if the parts are complete or not! We did not request for it to be assembled & we’re also not told that they will assemble it prior to delivery! I hope nothing is wrong with it or else we’ll return it & unfortunately a huge hassle on our part!

The have a great selection of products. My only gripe for this visit was the lack of plastic bags in the fastener aisle. If you wanted to buy individual nuts and bolts, you had no bag to put them in and write down the sku number on. Also, the templates you use to check your fastener size weren't in the best shape. A number of the nuts were removed from the boards so it made confirming your bolt and nut size impossible.

Had two(2) fridges delivered this morning and my new door frame was damaged. Fortunately my fridges were fine, but my door frame cost a lot more than my fridges....Been trying to call Home Depot all morning but nobody answers the phones there....Photos attached and I have 3 Ring cameras as well. My doorbell camera caught the loud thud when the one delivery guy rammed my new fridge into my door frame...FFS now what?!?!

I always have success finding what I need at this store and returns are done easily. I am rating this store a 5 star however for one reason. Marconi in plumbing has the most knowledge and best customer service of anyone I have ever dealt with in the construction supply industry. I have purchased products from many suppliers for many projects and there is no one like Marconi. Please thank him for he deserves it.

This particular Home Depot is great (Ancaster). I went to this location primarily because they have a plant greenhouse separate from the store. The plants are healthy and a great price. The rest of the store is we'll organized and the staff friendly. I stopped an employee to ask for a specific product and was escorted directly to it - there were several options to choose from. I would recommend this location.

We had a problem with our payment, but she acted operatively even though the store was about closed. She didn't give up till the end of finishing our payment. I had a question and I saw an employee who had just finished, Jeremy, and asked him. It was a tricky question and he was very knowledgeable and gracious with his time to help me troubleshoot. He even went over to another experienced employee with me to confirm the product! I couldn't believe how helpful he was and he had already finished work. The cargo van I rented here on Feb 26 is basically a death trap. The tires kept spinning upon contact with the slightest ice or snow. I checked and many of the tires were bald. When I finally returned the van and reported the issue, the agent rudely insisted that their vans have all-season tires and they were just fine. Plus the van was very dirty. I would definitely not be renting from here.

Contractor parking is awful! Find another place for your rental trucks and keep that small area for contractors. It's always a mess and fiasco to load. It's not just 1 experience it's every single time I go you can't turn around in there you have big rental uhaul trucks blocking the way. I know many contractors that avoid going there, rather drive further less hassle. Dv home contracting

We went to purchase an item that was on special but had difficulty locating the product. The associate named Les at the Ancaster location went out of his way to find it for us. He knew it was not a regular item and hence was not on display. It was located on the uppermost shelf stored in a cardboard shipping box. I have had pleasant experience whenever I visit this homedepot store located in the Ancaster area. It's a typical homedepot store with everything you expect normally. All the items are stocked nicely. I found the staffs are nice and friendly here. I always find the concrete and masonry products stocked in this branch. I would definitely recommend this place.

It took a long like to be able to get a kitchen and I trusted Home Depot and gave them lots of money. My thomasville cabinets are garbage. Pressboard and stapled. I have spent over 50,000.00 at Home Depot and I’m still missing parts for my cabinets since June. Customer service is a joke. Do not purchase cabinets from Home Depot all they want is your money.

Pretty big but with a weird layout and probably has the smallest and weirdly placed loading zone of all the Home Depots.
