I so wanted to.support the jolt and looked forward to taking my friends, but sadly I can't. I try to support everyone that supports 'the community." Further,I am sure the living social coupons are a pain and I will cover that but, need to talk about the young man first. If you do not have something on the menu and are no longer going to serve it... mark it off the menu so people don't waist there time, know what you are out of and can't make. Secondly please clean your display area for the pastry area, looking through dirty glass is not good and it was not dirty from just a morning. Living social coupons are a pain, I get it but to refuse to accept 3 coupons when I shared with the young man that we have 3 living social coupons, is simply wrong. It says one coupon per person, per visit; we were 3 people and it would have been one coupon per person per visit and with all of us would have been 9 visits. And when I even suggested if you have to ring them up separately and you said you could not do that... Would it not have been better to live up to what JOLT stands for, accommodate the people standing in front of you and get a good review with 3 people that want to come back than to get this review? So you missed out on 9 visits 9 sales 9 times to spread the word of how great you are. I read the food reviews but sadly will not be able to share that. I think what bothered me is the young man said he told me that before... I have never been in Jolt and sadly will probably never be again.

I wanted to like this place because they have great reviews. My brother and I wanted to check it out for breakfast and we were their first customers BUT..... Nothing was ready and it was about 15 minutes after opening, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the worker to prepare and have things ready, their menu on their website does not match the menu they have at their store so go off of the menu they have at their location. When we finally did order and after I had paid, we were told they're out of some of the food items(Vegan cheese and etc) and we were asked if we wanted something else or sub it out for a salad‍♀️ At that point I politely asked for a refund. Please make sure you know your menu and inventory before customers place their orders. It's not a good look. We won't be returning but that was just our experience for our very first time and at least I got my refund back. Still check them out maybe you'll have a better experience.

The Jolt is an amazing little hideout in The Center which is an LGBTQIA+ support service agency in downtown Vegas. It's a wonderful pit stop for anyone in the area since there is no coffee for several blocks beyond this coffee stop. They have great coffees and teas. Basic pastries. Nothing extravagant in terms of food but good bare bones stuff. Service is awesome. They are so friendly and helpful. And the space is wonderful within the great energy of The Center. Also, there's free parking out front. 4 x ☕☕☕☕

Omg Im in heaven. My belly is full and happy from the deliciousness I got here at Jolt! Unfortunately they were out of tofu today so they couldn’t make my sandwich as it is on the menu but instead I got this delicious double bacon double cheese amazingness on an everything bagel! It was the most delicious vegan breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and this banana, coffee, caramel Frappuccino is to die for! I will be at this place frequently now that I’ve found it I would add a picture but I already devoured it! Lol

This is in regards to the STD testing center/clinic. In theory, this is a good idea, but then you look at the hours of operation. I will do a direct copy and paste from their website. MONDAY 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30PM – 5:00 PM. TUESDAY 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30PM – 5:00 PM. WEDNESDAY 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30PM – 5:00 PM. THURSDAY 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30PM – 5:00 PM. The last morning patient is seen at 12 noon and the last afternoon patient at 4:30. The hours are horribly inconvenient!

We tried to order during the weekend, and their website said they were open (along with Google). Their online system is so automated, they actually took our money, and then stated that our order would be ready. Of course, we ended up finding out that the Center was closed during Memorial Day. We, of course, tried calling, and weren't able to get an answer (because they're closed) and weren't able to leave a message. Frustrating and disappointing process and experience overall.

Even though I am a straight man, the LGBT community here has been very respectful and helpful to me with anything I need or ask from them. They are very professional and completely unbiased about who hangs out there for whatever reason. There was many hot as hell, + degree weather day's where I needed a place of refuge (with AC!) and The Center's doors were always open to me and I truly appreciated that and needed that, at that time in my life. 5 STARS ✨ NO LESS!

THE best place to get coffee/breakfast foods/pastries. Period. The staff is so kind and go above and beyond for their customers. They roast their own coffee beans with a new high-tech machine! (Delicious!) And it is located inside Robert L. Forbuss Building which is a LGBTQ community center! The vegan options are out of this world and plentiful. If you're in the area or even if you aren't, don't hesitate to stop by this place!

My partner and I are frequent here a lot because it's such an awesome spot! Some of the best vegan food I have ever tried in Las Vegas. The food and coffee here never fails to leave us amazed and satisfied. Staff is always kind and are really diligent in offering a welcoming eating experience. Even during a pandemic, things are always clean and spaced out enough to ensure proper social distancing. We love you, JOLT crew! <3

Added the hours and everything for anyone getting this confused with The Center & the actual LGBTQA+ community center. Also, they used to test for gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, & HIV/AIDS. But now they only test for HIV/AIDS & syphilis. :-( But hey, it's all free so I'm not complaining. lol If you want all tests done they said they have another facility off the I-15 & Rancho, where the old Target used to be at.

Fantastic coffee. Highly recommended! Great spot, counter gentlemen super informative and concise. Most def will be back. Update: continue to come back. Love their coffee love their customer service. Have been drinking the chagacinno its phenomenal. We have had the lavender as well and its perfect thought the lavender was going to be over powering and instead it is subtle complimenting the brew beautifully.

Great service and staff! My mother works at a credit union called Jolt credit union in Michigan and it has the same colors believe it or not! My mom brought the staff a few pens, napkins, bandannas, and cards etc. all the way from Michigan and they loved it and were surprised! My family and I all got food from there and it was amazing.

Ordered the bbq jackfruit ciabatta sandwich and the I love matcha shake. Wow the sandwich was delicious, I could taste every ingredient, the bbq jackfruit, the cabbage, the vegan cheese (which was tasty compared to some of the downright gross vegan cheeses I’ve had before), and creamy aioli. The shake was not too sweet it was just right would definitely recommend and also will be back

  • Sheri Lucas

We stopped here for coffee based on the reviews! The kids have thumbs up to the Jolted breakfast sammie and we give two thumbs up to the coffee. Hot, wet and caffeinated- just what we needed! Recommend dropping in if in the area!

Best tasting coffee! If you are looking for a delicious low calorie option, try the chagaccino. It's only 40 calories and tastes like it should be 400! I also recommend the lavender latte. The taste lingers with each breathe. Love it! My only complaint is that they are not open on Sundays. I would be here every Sunday.

  • Free Minded

Came here for the clinic and couldn’t resist not trying out this spot. And I must say the coffee is incredibly good, I grabbed the cold shock coffee blended and it was PERFECT. It was not too sweet, not too bitter like I said puuurfect. The staff was also super friendly!! :) Will definitely have to come back again..

  • Michael Kaufman

Hands down best coffee and vegan food/breakfast spot. Didn't know what to expect but was blown away with how good everything was. Such a nice environment and the staff was extremely friendly. I made a mistake when ordering and they were so kind about it and went out of their way to fix it for me. Love this place!!

  • Connie Shearer

The Center gave me my second chance when I began volunteering for them last year. They've helped empower me with skills that were vital to the new p/t job I started last year and recently there has been talk about a p/t job opening up here at The Center for me. If you've never volunteered I highly recommend it!

  • Rick Fulmer

Jolt is a shockingly delightful Oasis in an otherwise low wattage neighborhood. Get amped up on latte. Come plug in your phone. Buy some tea. Use your charge card. The place couldn't be more electrifying if it were an eel.

Great place for educational information relating to all things LGBTQ. Also has internet, meeting space, a small library of actual books, and a cafe for lunches and snacks and drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to just get away and relax as well during the work week.

  • PudgyBuddha

The sandwich and drink selections leave something for every taste. It’s super yummy and the staff are always ready with fun and fresh suggestions. I’m still deciding on a favorite item, but I’m enjoying my forage through their menu. If you’re extra lucky, you’ll get Sam!

  • James Vignale II

Always friendly and the food and coffee is always delicious. Today I got a tofu scramble with cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and an Americano and it's so good!

Love having an independent coffee shop so close to home and in the comfortable setting at The Center. Unique offerings and expansive food menu. Staff is friendly and go above and beyond. Try the pistachio latte.

  • N T

Delicious vegan options. The pistachio latte was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans. The coffee cake was really good too. Will probably go back before we head back to chicago

  • Owen Carver

Enlightened independent locally-owned cafe with thoughtful plant-based vegan eats and treats along with thoughtful in-house roasted coffees. Friendly staff and great community minded location downtown.

There's no signs for Jolt, indicating that the cafe is within The Center posted outside. Went during a holiday so cannot review based on food/service at this time.
