Gorgeous pastries both in looks and flavor. We enjoyed four wonderful pastries. First was a perfectly delicate hibiscus meringue. The hibiscus dust provided a perfect tart balance to the sweet meringue, and the meringue itself was crisp on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Our ham and Gruyere croissant had hundreds of buttery layers. There wasn’t a lot of ham inside, but honestly that is my preference. The frangipane tart had a flaky buttery crust and the fresh strawberries, filling and almonds all made for a wonderful, not overly sweet treat. Finally, the buckwheat chocolate chip cookie was just a delicious chocolate chip cookie that any child or adult would love. Some of the item I thought were priced high, others I thought for the quality were priced fairly. We will definitely make a return visit next time we are at KSM.

I was in the mood for cookies so I decided to go to the Little Tart Shop since it was close to the beltline. The Little Tart Bakeshop is a French-inspired, Southern-inflected pastry shop located in at the Krog Street Market. You can also find their baked goods at Octane in Grant Park. The shop in KSM is open 7 days a week and located in the front of the market close to the large communal seating area. In addition to the bakery its also a coffee bar. The bakery serves croissants, tarts, cookies, danish, scones, quiches and tons of other sweets. They had a nice selection of cookies and I seriously wanted to order all of them. I ended up with a lavender, cardamom and oatmeal. OMG... SUGARY DELICIOUSNESS. Each cookie was so unique and i could taste the flavoring and spices. The oatmeal was my favorite!

I hate to give them one star. Their coffee is excellent, their pastries exceptional. But they don’t enforce the Krog Street Market mandatory mask requirement. In our pre COVID world, the rule was, no shirt, no shoes, no service, and everybody complied. Where masks are mandated, this rule should extend to masks. The employees should not be in the uncomfortable position of having to enforce this policy. Add signage!!!!! I will visit again on my next walk. If there's no enforcement, I'll head up the Beltline to a more COVID Conscience coffee shop. I love these guys, but not enough to be exposed to COVID.

Ambiance and staff very nice, I love that they are going to start adding 4% to purchases to cover their team’s health insurance, PTO etc. My only complaint was as a gluten free person I could only order a drink and your granola bowl without the granola (so yogurt). Is there any way that there could be 1 or 2 gf items that are staples on your menu? A lot of cookies, cakes and some pastries can be naturally gluten free as well (macaroons, etc…I was thinking your olive oil cake could definitely be made with nut flour as it’s already a dense cake, the nut flour would just add another dimension to it)

Looks like my previous one star review was removed. So let’s try this again and see if google will allow an honest, fair review to stay up even if a manager/owner doesn’t like legitimate criticism :) We came in last night, asked a simple question to the staff member behind the counter, and were met with an incredibly rude remark and negative attitude. This place is now becoming known in the area for their openly rude staff and poor customer service.

I was looking forward to coming here but ended up being disappointed. I ordered a oat cappuccino and chocolate croissant; the cappuccino was not very good (watery and bitter) and the croissant was ok. I found everything to be very overpriced ($4.50 for a croissant!). I also didn’t enjoy the location (Krog food hall) as it was very noisy with poor acoustics. My search for a good coffee and awesome location continues.

I don't often write Google Reviews, but how could I not be moved after experiencing the little bundle of heaven that was the pistachio and chocolate croissant? I'm honestly not a huge fan of chocolate OR pistachios, but good heavens in this combination they are stars of the show. JAY-Z and Beyonce, JFK and Jackie, Britney and Justin Timberlake, and now pistachio and chocolate. An absolute must-visit in Atlanta.

How dare you charge and not disclose an added 4% fee for your own employee sick time and pto! Pathetic to make your customers pay for it and had I not asked for a receipt, I would have never known because you don’t give them out. Bad business practice, take ownership and pay for your own operating costs! Will not buy again, your stuff isn’t that special! Wonder if this is even legal…I am sure going to find out.

Ordered an iced americano and literally got a half filled cup. The barista tried to "lecture" us on what an iced americano is and how it ONLY comes in 8 oz. After I requested "a little more water please" I got a solid 8.5 oz back I have ordered the same iced americano from a dozen coffee shops but have never received a half filled drink or a lecture on what is it. Will not support this business again.

I really love Little Tart Bakeshop. Every time I visit family in Atlanta, I make a stop at one of their locations. My go-to picks are their pistachio chocolate croissant and the savory turnover. My wife gets the chocolate croissant every time and the consistency is unmatched. The folks are always helpful and the coffee is great. Can’t wait to try more of their menu next time I’m back.

  • tippi reid

How dare you add a hidden charge on my receipt! At no time did you mention that I will be charged an "employee health insurance and sick leave percentage" when I'm a customer #patron. I am not an employee nor am I affiliated with your company. You need to post and let customers know about this charge. Plus, why are you passing this cost to customers? Refund me my .28 cents!!!

Raspberry bostock is phenomenal. Chewy and you can taste this light oilyness in the breading before you are hit with this deep caramelized toasted flavor, closing with a delightful, light raspberry crumb scattering on top. What a perfect pastry! In terms of drinks, the hot green matcha lattes they make have a nice concentrated flavor which is a sign of high quality matcha.

  • Ashley Gregory

I ordered a drink, the woman behind the counter explained the way they made it to make sure that's what I wanted. I decided I wanted something else instead and the lady said something like "oh so you're looking for a vanilla latte Starbucks type situation?" I felt like I was shamed for not knowing what the drink was. I just thought I'd try it. I will not be going back.

  • B. Martin

Decent coffe but seriously people don't be in customer service if all you want to do is seem annoyed everytime someone tries to be a human to you.....like hi hows your day going....so far everytime I have been there last couple of times they just seem replused that someone has interrupted their precious time. Get overselves, I have had better experinces in fast food.

  • Carlos S

Counter service / stall inside Krog Street Market. Opposite of laidback coffeehouse; more Hustle bustle of open air food market. Plenty of choices in the counter, but no idea how long they have been in there. 930am visit: ham and gruyere croissant is cold, brown and curled edges on the ham. They do have ovens on site, and you can watch the work.

  • John Brawley

What a really great find. They’re open early, something I always struggle with in Atlanta. They’re an old school French style bakery. Great pastries, but also the basics like Quiche and something that’s a little rare in this part of town, wonderful coffee ! They are amongst the best coffee I’ve had in Atlanta. Always great service.

  • Jarvis Carter

I love the Apple and cheese turnover. The crust is flaky and makes a great contrast against the filing. They also make a very good chocolate croissant and pecan pie (I like they the filling is just enough and doesn't overpower the crust and pecans). A little pricey as someone else said, but with the splurge every now and then.

  • Victoria Bilotta

There gluten free raspberry coffee cake was truly divine. It was fresh, moist, and light not dense like most gluten free items are made. The raspberry tasted so FRESH and slightly tart. It was a truly exceptional gluten free bakery experience and I am a tough critic. Also the staff was helpful, patient, and genuinely kind.

  • Jess Endres

My friend and I stopped by for some brunch and it was a great choice on our part! I got an egg sammie with cheese and bacon as well as a lemon tart, and they were both delicious— I especially recommend getting one of their egg sammies if your diet permits! Staff were friendly and courteous, and it made for a great stop!

  • Dijana Kunovac

The pastries and other baked goods are actually delicious, but my god the customer service here is atrocious. It’s like someone has a gun to these peoples’ heads and is forcing them to work here. It’s so off-putting and weird as to how blatantly rude they are. Maybe find other jobs that don’t require human interaction?

  • Julia Maggio

Little Tart is one of my favorite coffee shops. It’s inside Krog St market. The staff is friendly and amazing, and it doesn’t matter who is making your coffee, it is consistently perfect. They have coconut milk, which is great if you have a soy and dairy allergy like me. They have a stand alone shop in Atlanta as well.

  • Lindsey Leota

Breakfast sandwich was second to none! Lavender Matcha had no lavender flavor to it and tasted mostly like oatmilk. Employees were very friendly!

Poor nice nasty customer service. I purchased a Carmel Tart ($5.99)- carmel taste burnt. I asked to exchange it for something else. I was giving the opportunity to get 1 $2 cookie. Thank you for successfully being the worst pastry shop ever. Keebler cookies taste better. They are to over rated. …

  • Ebonie Poythress

Little Tart Bakery is one of those little known spots tucked away in Krog Street Market. I have not had a pastry or a cookie that I did not like. The Kouign Aman, Almond Croissant, and Cinnamon Sugar Morning Buns are my favorite. Prices are reasonable. They also have a coffee bae with espresso drinks.

  • Hugo A

As a French person living in the US, I am very picky on chocolat croissants. I can say that I have found there the very best in my 3 years abroad! Perfectly buttered, amazingly flaky, and generously chocolaty. Not overwhelmingly cooked is rare around here. Absolutely recommend it, will go again.

  • Lacey Howard

We enjoyed our breakfast treats from here. We ordered the ham and grier cheese croissant, the chocolate croissant, the egg sandwich, cinnamon sugar toast, and lemon tart. It was all fantastic! We also ordered the chai latte, matcha latte, and regular latte. All of the drinks were delicious.

  • Jack Nycz

I work up the street, I go there all the time. Any review questioning the service is BS. Sure they want you to move quickly because they generally have a line and in a food market you move quickly because that is how it works. If you want sit down service go to a sit down establishment.

  • Ameena Sethi

We went for a mid day snack a couple of days ago during our visit to Atlanta. We ordered croissant with jam, almond croissant, blue berry something cookie and latte. Everything was delicious!! Service was quick, despite the line and only one person working there. Must visit!

  • Lisa J

This Bakeshop/Coffee shop is the best of the best. I had a savory turnover with broccoli, feta and garbanzo beans. The crust was flaky and covered with sesame seeds. So buttery and flavorful. I also had an iced latte that was so smooth and delicious. Happy.

  • The Taylors

Hands down best bakery in Atlanta! So much better than Starbucks! Customer service is amazing. Baked goods are finger- licking good. The decor and atmosphere is on point. Overall this bakery is my sweet getaway, they can have all my coins lol

  • Allison Long

Coffee was good, gf chocolate chip cookie was delicious. Terrible customer service. The young lady at the register did not say one word to me the entire ordering and cashing out process and looked utterly annoyed that I was there at all.

  • C LuWho

The people that work here are rude. Not sure what their issue is but they act like they are doing you a favor by selling you coffee. They seem to want nothing more than you to leave so they can talk to their friends.

  • R Lynn

Thanks for escalating my work lunch today. I picked up mini- quiche yesterday at the Grant Park market. Absolutely delicious and the crust is real pastry and buttery. And heat it in the oven not microwave or the crust will be ruined…

  • Conway Li

Wonderful staff and excellent pastries. The pastries are definitely a bit more stale than the central location though. Centrally located right in Krog Street Market. They also have really good coffee with alternative creamer options.

  • Belu Ortiz

I ordered a pistachio croissant with chocolate with a mocca and it was great! The host was very sweet and made a very cute drawing on my mocca ❤️ I love to have breakfast, it’s my favorite food so I’m very sure I’ll be back ✌

  • Madhumitha Ramesh

They have some of pastries and coffee. I tried the pistachio cake and it was absolutely delicious. The parking to this market is tricky but when you go during the less peak hours it’s not bad. I would definitely recommend it.

  • Gabrielle Williams

Walked the ATL beltline and stopped by Krog Street for a bite. Had the croissant based on suggestion of the cashier. It was good but for me WAY too buttery/oily. I had the gougere and that was really good and much lighter!

  • Nicole Quilliam

One of my fave bakeries in Atlanta. I get their oat milk matcha latte, their egg sandwich with bacon, and a different pastry each time. I usually go on Saturday mornings when there’s no line and it’s nice and peaceful.

  • Michael Day

Amazing bake shop, my favorite item being the scones. This location has a wider menu that's worth checking out. It's be nice to have a few more gluten free pastry options, but I'm sure that's easier said than done.

  • Edgard Negron

Quite possibly the rudest people I have ever met at this place. I asked a question as they were closing and that seemed to bother them. How dare I ask a question! Well, I won’t be visiting this place ever. Wow.

  • Rakeem Harriott

Best coffee shop ever ! I asked Maggie for the off the menu items and she made a special iced tea for me . Can’t remember the name but it was amazing and everyone is so warm & sweet ❤️ Always tip when I come !

  • Pradyumna Shome

Friendly staff. I enjoyed a delicious Flat White, made with Counter Culture Gradient beans. Bakery items looked appetizing and larger than expected for the prize. I would certainly come back for more!

  • Dipesh Patel

The egg sandwich is full on flavor but overpriced for the portion. The coffee is average, but the baked goods (the real reason you should come) are tasty and priced adequately based on the location!

  • Sam McRae

I'm a student of the croissant. I eat a lot of them and learned to make them in France. This is as good as it gets in the United States. Comparable to what you'd find in the best bakeries in Paris.

  • Rebecca Steiner

had the iced coffee here last week. very fast service, good coffee and small station with cinnamon, cream, sugar, etc. the other person in my group tried an oatmeal cookie and enjoyed it as well.

  • Key Stanford

Little tart is very good but VERYYYYYY over priced they even have a sign on the register that says they upped the prices to pay for employees benefits that should be no reason to up the prices

  • susan brazeal

This bakery is a gem. Everything is fresh and perfect. Not too sweet so you can really taste all the ingredients. My favorite is the small square sable cookies in all the flavors. Go there!

  • Christina Butler

Best croissants outside of France! Love everything they make here! Especially the savory scone and the vegan blueberry lemon cornmeal.cookie. Sables are to die for as is the gougére.

  • kim anderson

I ordered the sweet and the savory danishes for my daughters wedding morning for her and her bridesmaids and they were amazing!!! We enjoyed them all morning! I highly recommend!

  • Claudia Cooper

Just came here for coffee. The staff seems overworked. Two people were working but they were constantly rushed. There weren't any large coffee lids or half and half on my visit.

  • Eric M

Kouign Aman (original) was as good as I remember. The apple version not so much (apple sauce in the middle of an original). Line moved quickly and not too busy for a Sunday.

  • Jithin Gopinadhan

Everything we tried was great. Unfortunately, they sell out some of their stuff pretty fast. So try to be there earlier in the day if you have anything particular in mind.

  • empathic warrior

The BEST Chai latte I've had since moving to Atlanta. And the Customer service was top tier!!! I will be returning.

The best croissants in Atlanta -- and perhaps all of the U.S. The chocolate pistachio croissant and almond croissants are to die for! Coffee could be better, though.

  • Vanessa Shell

Wow. I tried to save what I thought would be my favorite pastry for last, but each one was incredible. The best pastries I’ve had in Atlanta. Good coffee, too!

  • Jan-Michael Cruz

I love this place because it's right off the beltline and they have the best croissants I'm town and legitimatley croissants that would hold up in any town.

  • Jennifer Davis

Great coffee but walked up to 3 staff members chatting and ignoring customers. They seem to hate being there. Maybe choose a job with no human interaction?

  • Jennifer Primatic

They had the best coffee and best croissant I have ever tasted in my life. It was also fast and in the cutest little food market. I definitely recommend.

  • Tom Keeler

Some of the best pastries in the area, often with seasonal and local options. Having lived in Europe, I can say that this is of the standards there.

  • Joe Song

Has some solid espresso and a really good almond croissant. I thought it was a bit overpriced but I forgot all about that once I started eating it.

  • Craig Gardner

Cute place in the krog street market with amazing pastries. We got the chocolate pistachio croissant and the cheese danish. Both were exceptional!

  • Marcus Vinícius Barbosa

Good god it is pricy, and the food is not that great. I guess you pay for the place, which is nice. Good luck finding park, especially on Sundays.

  • IBrahim Almudhaf

A great bakery to star your day with loved food really delicious also the style of COFEe the art they do in the top of coffee amazing loved it.

  • Laura Hubbell

The variety and excellence of pastries is top notch!!! I'd list of highlights but everything is my favorite. Update: this place still rocks.

  • Urban Atlanta

I feel for the staff as they looked worn out. Long wait for my order. The pastry was just okay, similar to Publix. Not worth a second visit.

  • Locrian Scale

This is their chocolate croissant. One Itty bitty piece of chocolate on one end. That's its. Pretty pathetic if your paying $4.50 for it.

  • Lillian C

Almond croissant and iced coffee for breakfast was delicious! Staff was friendly and it's located in a cute area. Definitely recommend!

  • Bob Kelly

OMG! This place rocks! Very flakey pastry and excellent coffee. I visit this place every time I'm in Atlanta. This is a class act!

  • Steve Collins

Fast service. Great pastries, many of which were different from the usual. Coffee was ok. Could be a little stronger.

  • Lynn

I would highly recommend the baked goods here! I’ve had the quiche and chocolate croissant and they were both great.

TERRIBLE customer service. Female employee with pink hair was beyond RUDE and disrespectful. Won’t go back!!!!

I wouldn’t recommend this location; consider another one near Grant Park. The cashier seemed so unhappy.

  • Edie Sinclair

Great pastries and coffee! The employees are super sweet and helpful. A bit pricey, but worth it!

  • Danielle Ingels

We had the apple cheddar turnovers. Great flavors, flaky and crispy crust, just delightful.
