Wow don't even know where to begin. I had been here a few times previously for a drink and a little bite to eat. We decided to have our engagement party here last night and im totally overwhelmed and blown away. From my first enquiry the manager Ed has been in contact with me helping arrange literally what was the best night of my life. I've had so much feedback from family and friends about how amazing the bar was! Now onto the food!!! Unbelievable well worth the money we paid and just the right amount people even had seconds it was so delicious. I can't thank Ed and Wes enough for everything they did to make our night so special and thank you to all the bar staff, security and everyone involved in making our night so special. Definitely recommend this bar and will definitely be back!

First time here and won't be the last! We visited to watch the Liverpool v Chelsea FA Cup final and the atmosphere was amazing. We had a table booked and it was in a perfect spot with two viewing screens, table service is a plus especially when you don't want to miss any of the action. I tried two cocktails, both were lovely. There were lots of family's in there too, so ideal in the daytime if you want to bring children, they have table football and pool to keep them busy. Lasty I have to shout out the staff, Nicola one of the security team was lovely and managed to keep order in a friendly way when some guys got over excited when Liverpool won. There was no trouble at all in the bar, as expected on FA Cup final day emotions were high but everyone was in great spirits and not once did you feel like something could kick off. Shout out also to Ed, events coordinator, thanks for the cocktail recommendations and great service.

I came to The Long Shot with a large group to kickstart our day exploring the bars in liverpool. Had great communication with Ed throughout the booking process, with him ensuring our services were catered for. Great atmosphere, especially good for watching sports. Amazing selection of drinks all at really good prices, with the food also just what we needed to start our day. Big shout out goes to Wes and the floor team for dealing with such a large group with a service that was quick and absolutely on point! It’s somewhere we’ll be making the effort to comeback to whenever we return to Liverpool. Real nice touch receiving a message off Ed after we parted from the bar clarifying our experience went as planned, all the little things make a big difference. A highly recommended Bar for all occasions!

We hired the Long Shot for a joint 21st / 50th birthday party and it was the best decision we could have made. Before the event Ed made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it. The night itself was amazing! Service and staff were excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic. I had so many comments from friends and family about what a great night they all had. Not your average sports bar! Decor is cool and cosy. Booths, low lighting, exposed brickwork and vaulted ceilings. There is some excellent artwork to admire too. When there isn't a major match on there is a great soundtrack while the sport is on the big screens. There's a pool table upstairs and table football downstairs if you're feeling competitive or the event being screened isn't your thing. Staff are friendly and attentive, they will serve you at your seats without being too in your face. You can order via QR code too if you're that way inclined. The cocktails are great (and on offer all January!). There's a selection of decent snacks (loaded nachos, garlic bread as well as butties and other interesting sounding bits) Deffo a great addition to the Albert Dock

Visisted here over a month ago and the benches outside stained the childrens clothing which was brand new on that day. I assume it was the heat had maybe heated the paint up on the benches as they were not fresh painted and no signs to indicate they were freshly painted. The bar said they’d reimburse me for the items ruined and yet they keep fobbing me off saying they will send the payment and never do. I’ve been waiting over a month now. Apparently the payment was sent over last Thursday it’s now Tuesday and I’ve not been sent the payment. As I can not respond to the comments made. NO the reimbursement was sent AFTER I had to leave negative feedback as I felt it was my only option to get my money back.

I used The Longshot Bar for a joint 30th do on Saturday night and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. From early communication with Ed, who helped me plan the whole event, to the service and support on the night, everything was was excellent. The bar is lovely and cosy inside, plenty of space with fairy lights, sofas, pool tables and music. Ed helped set up balloons and decorations for us before arriving and gave us the whole upstairs with personalised screens etc. We ordered the Champions food platter for 23 people, great selection of food including vegetarian options needed. Highly recommended for anyone hosting an event, we will definitely be using again in the future.

Hosted my husband’s 60th birthday party at the LongShot bar and had a fantastic time from start to finish. The staff on the night couldn’t have done more to help the event run smoothly particularly Adda, Jacob, Amber and Nicola. Ed The events and sales manager was so helpful in the planning of the party, helped me secure a DJ and turned up on the night to check everything was in place. My guests loved the venue, we used the screens through the bar to show family pictures and guests could play pool, fussball which the children loved. Highly recommend the venue for parties and the professional staff.

Just what we were looking for. I visited here with my 8 year old son and had a table booked. ( well it was more a prop up the bar sort of table but it was fine as we were there just tto watch the football. Screes everywhere and a great game of pool was had during half time. We arranged a surprise party for my gf which we hosted upstairs in long shot. We were able to bring our laptop and connect it to the TV screen to display photos and play a quiz, which was so much fun and such a good addition to the venue. We had our own corner to decorate and use and the staff were so helpful and nice. We appreciate everything they did for us, Ed who organised most of it was super helpful and dependable, would definitely recommend this place!

Great atmosphere, booked a table for food, welcomed and friendly table service throughout our visit. Only thing that let it down was the door staff shouting that we needed to go downstairs due to a private party, 10 minutes after our food had arrived and 20 minutes before our table booking ended, but we ignored her and finished up anyway, assuming it was an early warning. Thanks for a great time.

Had a day out with my husband and having seen online that this place has cocktail happy hour decided to give it a try. It was honestly a joke. Two cocktails £14 for half a glass flute of cocktail, for want of a better word. Looked like breakfast small orange juice, worrying thing that these jokes of a cocktail will rise to £9+each after 7. Save your money and go to Wildwood on church st. Best cocktails around. The one star I gave was because the server was pleasant.

Staff and drinks and of course sport footage was excellent however what let this place down was the food. I reserved a table with the intention of grabbing something to eat but ended up leaving after a drink to go to a nearby establishment. Now I know I should have looked online before I went but I thought they'd do basic burgers etc but it was only baguette type meals with nachos. As i said though the drinks and staff were great so thanks.

Visited the long shot during the champions league final and had a great experience. Staff members were attentative, polite and great at their job. One girl who was waiting the tables was on her 2nd ever shift here and did incredibly well considering the event and how busy it was! Drinks arrived very quickly after ordering and food was also fantastic. Would defintely recommend this pub to any sports fans looking for a good pint and food!

We came here by chance because the Smugglers Inn was closed - what a great stroke of luck. We only drank here but the espresso martini is probably the bes I've ever had. The other drinks on the menu were also really good and we made sure we tried them. I reckon it's be really good for live sport but we didn't have s chance to stay. The happy hour seals are also pretty good. A pint for £3. Lastly, the service was great.

Great bar right in the heart of Liverpool docks. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Can't comment on food as we never ate there, prices for alchol were reasonable for city area.

Really enjoyed coming here. We stayed in Liverpool for 2 nights and visited 5 times for food, drinks and football !! Staff are all very lovely and attentive. Great selection of drinks and beers. Highly recommend this place. Lovely decor and very clean throughout. Especially like the ladies loos have a sink and dryer in the loo itself!!! (I’m sad I know) Will defo pop in again when we are in Liverpool xx take care xx

Disappointing! As a sports bar we expected to go and watch all the build up before the game , half time talks and the interviews etc at end of match. But music is on right up until kick off and sound turned off again at half time and as soon as match ends playing music again, if I wanted to listen to music I wouldnt go to a 'Sports' bar . Doesnt really live up to its name unfortunately.

The Longshot bar was fantastic for my husband’s birthday party. We hired the top floor and it was perfect. The staff helped every step of the way from booking right up to the night and throughout. They went above and beyond and would highly recommend the venue for parties. Our guests also commented on how good the venue was and also how nice the food was.

Booked here for a 21st birthday party. We where over the moon with the layout of the place, they went the extra mile to keep us happy, they also provided the buffet food wich was quality and even the better the dj they provided for us. I would highly recommend this place to all. Thank you

We were looking for somewhere for my partner to watch scottish game. Lovely bar, clean and staff really nice but strangely we were the only 2 people there?! Not a lot of options for drinks considering the size of place. Toilets spotless. Would have got more stars if the drink options were better, feel this could be letting them down

For a RWC game - there was very little interest - which i found surprising. It was also seriously hot in the venue. Venue was good, great character.

I had my 21st at the venue, the staff were unreal with me from the second I inquired to after the party. The staff on the night were all lovely and so helpful too and the venue itself was perfect for what I wanted. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for an affordable but really nice place to hire or even just for drinks.

Came back to watch the Rugby World Cup final after watching Six Nations here earlier in the year. Loads of screens and great atmosphere. The staff are really pleasant and efficient and the food was amazing.

Went here on the Saturday of the Open. This "Sports bar" only has 6 or 7 beers on tap. No bitters whatsoever. opened on Saturday without one of their very few beers and ran out of another in the first hour. I can't give good marks to a bar without beer.

I pre booked the Long Shot as I wanted to watch the Liverpool Community Shield match and wanted to guarantee a seat. The service was excellent, a good selection of food to go with your beer and an excellent atmosphere during the match, If I come to Liverpool again I will defiantly come here again.

Stumbled across Longshot while strolling past Albert Dock. Very cool little pub. Lots of screens so if you are after live sport you can’t go wrong. Food pretty decent as well. Drinks menu is fun and priced reasonably . All in all will certainly visit again when I’m in Liverpool.

What a great experience we had a our Christmas party here in December, the food was amazing and great service from the staff when getting drinks from the bar there was never a queue .I would definitely recommend.Also a big thank you to Ed who helped with every request we had.

Excellent . Came to docks for a stroll with my partner. Never realised the bar was dog friendly so my partner waiting outside with our poodle. Staff allowed us to bring him inside and gave him water and treats. Lovely place lovely staff

No atmosphere and too hot inside. We did manage to get a table outside but had almost no time to choose a drink before the waitress pounced. Both cocktails we ordered weren’t very nice so overall we were disappointed.

We recently had our end of season presentation here. The management and the staff went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked anymore from them. We will definitely be looking at having next years event here

Had our daughters 21st upstairs, great place, friendly staff and drinks brought upstairs to us. Food was amazing and boss tunes from the DJ. Definitely recommend for a party or just to chill out and have a drink.
