"Never EVER shop here! I purchased a $35 bottle of tequila that they erroneously charged me twice for, and even after showing them my bank statement with the double charge and proof of receipt, they still did not believe that they had made an error (they also asked what I had purchased and the date and time I purchased it, the information all aligned)"
"Just walked in to buy bourbon - they had the price listed under the bottle with the same description of great bottle so no mistake"

Never EVER shop here! I purchased a $35 bottle of tequila that they erroneously charged me twice for, and even after showing them my bank statement with the double charge and proof of receipt, they still did not believe that they had made an error (they also asked what I had purchased and the date and time I purchased it, the information all aligned). The manager insisted I call my bank, which I did, and they confirmed the double charge but they STILL did not believe me or issue me the refund. The same manager proceeded to curse at me and insist I had no evidence, although I provided as much evidence as I possibly could have. Do not give these people any business unless you want to get cheated!
Just walked in to buy bourbon - they had the price listed under the bottle with the same description of great bottle so no mistake. Rings up higher and he says that’s whats in the system. I said I understood and asked that they simply honor their mistake. He said take it or leave it as is. As a large bourbon drinker I promise you there are many midtown stores that are ran better than this and would keep a customer for $10.00 diff from their own doing. Out of principal I will never come here. Please be aware of what rings up vs what the piece should be
HORRIBLE MANAGER - I DO NOT recommend this place! manager was so rude. My hands were frozen and I accidentally dropped a bottle of wine that I had already paid for. Manager (really dismissive, on the phone the entire time) told me "you dropped it - not us!" and refused to let me take another one or even give me a discount for a replacement. What kind of customer focus is this? What is a $15 bottle of wine to him versus a customer? REALLY unpleasant how he treated me and I will never go back! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! anywhere is better.
I walked in looking for On the Rocks. He said he had and pointed a direction so I went and found it. The label was a different name so I asked, "what is the price? the label doesn't match". He walked over snatched it from my hand and said with a heavy tone "Are you goin to buy it or not!" I said, "dude its too early in the morning for this man". "Its 19.99, its right there". Fine, I just walked out.
The bartender makes sure his customers have a great experience where he pours wine to visitors so that they could taste different wines' flavor. You can truly appreciate his passion for wine. We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine and uncorked one that night to find out how right he was when he suggested that bottle. His shop is a must stop and we will go back here during our next trip!
I walked in to this store when I visited my family and friends before last Christmas Eve. The staff was very friendly and asked if he could help me anything. I told him that I don't know anything about wines but I would like to buy gifts for my friends. So he was very friendly and patient to show me some popular wines and finally I bought 3 populars wines for my friends.
Didnt even get to go to the store. Guy was very rude on the phone when I only asked him if they had certain wines in store. First thing he said was we have alot of wines, with attitude. Not even allowing me to say specific ones I needed. Then kept giving attitude the whole conversation.
Morning shift, counter worker lead me to a fantastic pouilly-fuisse that has turned to my go-to white wine! On top of that the other worker there was very knowledgeable on whiskies, I couldn’t grasp to leave without purchasing one of his recommendations! Outstanding results!
The staff did not offer any help. When my girlfriend went to pay with a prepaid giftcard, she was told they "do not accept gift cards," because, "they take too long to pay." The sales attendant then laughed in my girlfriend's face. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.
not very good customer service, would only give store credit after 5 minutes of buying and then trying to return unopened bottle. prices are about 15 dollars more than regular, indifferent service towards customers. would not return.
It's such a relief to have a liquor store in Midtown that closes at midnight. Saving lives for people who get out of work late and need to make a pitstop. Knowledgeable staff and prices are what you'd expect for Midtown.
Excellent liquor store!! People working there are extremely knowledgeable and immediate recommended me the best wine that suits for my aim. They are very polite and professional too. This is absolutely my go to store
Conveniently located, decent collection but quite dear. If you are in a rush or can’t be bothered to go elsewhere then it’s fine but otherwise prepare the pay extra for the convenience and the location.
Stopped in on our way back to our hotel. Found the service to be VERY friendly. A bit pricey compared to buying wine in a grocery store, but hey, this is NYC, so we were not surprised.
Very helpful guy in the store. Helped me pick a red wine for my mother, this help was much appreciated seen as I don't drink red wine. Mum enjoyed it too, would recommend.
Good selection of wine and a great staff member who helped pick out a New Zealand Savignon Blanc by Cupcake vineyard - it was delicious, thank you!
They switched out my bottle with a cheaper one at the register and I did not notice until I was long gone because it was in a bag...so be careful.
Great local wine shop with a nice selection, helpful, knowledge staff and fair prices. I go there whenever I'm in the area and looking for wine.
Wow.. they have wine and liquor for every occasion... I rem walking in there and fine exactly what I wanted to buy for thanksgiving..
Good selection, strange prices. More over priced than an over priced shop imo. The soju is 10 dollars and the canned cocktails are 7
It’s pretty standard, probably a chain. Lots of wine and some liquor and decent prices. No frills, but they have what you need.
There are so many different kinds of wine here And price is reasonable so great I get red wine This is so good …
If you like extremely overpriced mediocre wine, with a staff that hasn’t tasted anything, this is the place for you
Good labels and and excellent place! When in NYC I used to buy my wines there and drink on hotel! Good prices too!
First time in New York, stopped in by chance looking for a specific whiskey bourbon and they had it.
Helped me find an amazing bottle of wine in under a minute! Cashier was also super nice. Thank you!
Good selection ... Bad Service I won't be returning because the service was bad (for me):
A ton of wine and liquor options! Good prices, and have pre-made cocktail options too
Expensive but that's what you should expect for the location ! Good choices though.
They have one of my favorite wines Ravenswood, And customer service is good as well
Price gouging. Selling many bottles of bourbon for several times the retail price.
Good variety Attentive and helpful Indian boy helped us choose saki and wine
Great wine shop. Really wide selection and good prices. Friendly staff too.
Great staff. Sales girl/cashier was helpful and was kind. Highly recommend
Absolute ridiculous prices on bourbon. Price gouging is an understatement.
Good Shop with Nice collections ! Recommendation is to get some beers too
Friendly staff. A little high priced. But so is everything, right?
Got the best of your red wine with your advisory skills... Thanks
I needed a drink for a long afternoon... Works perfect. …
