This is my new favourite pet store, an opinion you will surely share once you visit. The owners (I believe they run the store) are lovely, the products are very high quality and the cats toys are the only ones my cat will play with. I also appreciate they try to support local or Canadian products, while I was there they shared they had to support a young girl of 18 who just started making cat toys out of Vancouver I believe. Who we choose to support in business is everything these days, and I know I can trust that my values are shared in supporting this amazing local business. Thank you for the great experience, and I of course will be back regularly. <3

I love, love, love this store! And so do my dogs We stopped in this afternoon to purchase some treats, and were immediately greeted by the friendliest people! The store is beautiful, and stocked with the cutest toys, beds, leashes, treats, and basically everything one could buy to spoil their fur-kids! My babies received treats from the kindest lady, who also helped me select the right snacks for my babies. We left with a few bags of treats and some adorable stuffed toys. My pups are overjoyed with their haul! Many thanks to the staff at The New Forest for making our visit so enjoyable! We look forward to shopping here again soon

My mom gave me a gift from this store (a portable dog waterbottle) which I absolutely loved! It ended up breaking on me (manufacturer error) and I took it back to this store and they exchanged it right there! So thankful! And this store sells a wonderful variety of items, absolutely beautiful! I just can't express how great the customer service was when I came in and I will for sure be back!

Blown away by Online Order Experience. Placed an order through the New Forest's website and was blown away by the presentation, quick delivery and great product selection. The owners had exceptional communication about the online order and our delivery was received quickly and with great products. Would highly recommend using New Forest for gifts or new gear for your own furry friends.

This is a very cute boutique pet store that primarily sells dog and cat gear and toys. The price point probably won’t be for everyone but all of the items are beautiful and well made. If you are someone who really likes to spoil your pet and yourself with adorable stuffed toys, elegant dishes, and chic collars this is your place.

You will want to shop here even if you don’t have a dog or cat! Such a cool place filled with interesting high quality products. My two dogs now have the best dog beds, collars and leashes, stuffed toys and food and water dishes. Owner owned and operated this gem is a must visit when in the Kensington shopping district.

It’s always a warm welcome when you walk into new forest — they love dogs and it’s shows. Their products are ones that you’ll want to have lying around your house. We purchased a dog bed and it looks polished in our home, rather than a sloppy pillow/mat. Their dog toys are beautiful, and durable (rope ball with loop).

Outstanding Product Selection and Customer Service. Jen and Neil provide high quality products at reasonable prices and are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Their store is pet friendly - my pups and I always receive a warm welcome. I will definitely return. The New Forest receives my highest recommendation.

Adorable pet store with cute and unique toys, accessories and treats for cats and dogs. We purchased a geometric puzzle toy for our pup that has been a hit with her! The person working was incredibly kind and generous with treats! A must visit for pet owners next time you're in Mission (now Kensington)

I absolutely love this shop - they always have a new assortment of things for both cats and dogs. The shop itself is beautiful, and is always a treat to walk around. The folks who work there are incredibly welcoming, and always take the time to say hello. Truly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

We love this pet store. The owners are always so friendly. They have the most fabulous finds. All the items in store are high quality and made to last. The toys particularly are indestructible. The jackets and boots are so fashionable that people are always asking me where they're from.

We always find the best stuff at this little gem of a shop. The owners are amazing and know my pup Poppie by name. Whenever we come in, we always find something fun to take home. They carry a range of products and brands I've not been able to find anywhere else in town. Big Fans :)

Super cute shop that makes it hard not to spoil your pets. Was a little disappointed we couldn’t get a couple items due to no stock and not being able to fit the floor model in our car for being already assembled but it happens. Will be back

Decent selection,friendly staff,some things reasonably priced . No clue why they leave every single light in the store on overnight... 6pm to 11am. Really the only negative comment to leave,seems wasteful and unnecessary.

Great small business with lovely owners. The leash and collar that we bought a year and a half ago are very well made and going strong (which is saying a lot with our strong and ‘willful’ 55lb dog).
