This dentist is so good... I travel 55 miles for my appointments!!! Such a friendly and welcoming team. I suffer bad anxiety and its the main reason I come here. I've never experienced such a good dentist (Julia), dental nurses and hygienists that are so highly equipped with the knowledge to deal with worried patients especially ones with such high anxiety like myself. I avoided dentists for many years due to bad experiences, would only go when i had to and highly reccomend this one. I now have full bill of dental health and regularly attend (which Iavoided before due to my anxiety). I have, sadly, witnessed staff on the recieving end of abuse whilst there though - whilst they are so calm, collected and professional in such circumstance. I'd like to remind the general public that these are staff who go home to loved ones, who have feelings, at work doing a job to the best of their ability - and I can really vouch for that. Please remember to be kind. This practice stands out way above the rest- and I've had my share on dental practices!
Mark My tooth was extracted on Tuesday 25th January 2022. I have since been in excruciating pain( 6 days after extraction and taking amoxicillin as advised, along with pain killers ) with an infection around the extraction area. I was told by the dentist that root treatment would cost £800 or extract the tooth on the day for £ 150. I was not told the gum around the tooth was infected prior to extraction ( X-rays taken on the day ) and was not given the option to be prescribed with antibiotics to clear the infection in the first instance? If this was communicated to me I would still have my tooth without the extraction and the infection would have been cleared up by now possibly. I still have sharp broken parts of my tooth within the extraction point causing excruciating pain, cutting my tongue. Recommendation…AVOID.
I would say oak dental are more money focused practice. Where as smile maker who is next to it is far more better and friendly ...I wanted a hygienist however they want me to do check up and scan before eventhough I had that cycle just before covid. So now after 2 years passed they want me to go through the same cycle with scan.. I have been with other dental practice before and never faced a situation like this.. keep away from this practice.
I have used this practice for many years and have always found them first class. The receptionists are friendly and welcoming and there is a relaxing atmosphere about the place. The dentists and hygienists are excellent and I have always been very happy with the treatment I have received. And I speak as someone who has had a lot of dental work over the years!
I have been coming to this dentist for maybe 2 years now and had my problematic wisdom tooth removed today. As somebody who has a fear of the dentist, I can honestly say I have never been to better dentist in my life. The whole practice, from reception to dental staff, are so professional, concise, and put you at ease straight away. Thank you again!
Thank you to all involved in helping getting my daughters braces sorted! She was referred, through Covid and has had them fitted! She had a hygienist appointment with Alison, as needed to sort a few bits out and this set her on the right track with her cleaning. Edit - braces went on successfully and are doing brilliantly THANK YOU!!
Would avoid this practise. Was a patient for many years, had mostly ok treatment but in the past year had some shockingly bad treatment and advice that left my general health vulnerable. Think they only money orientated. Have since found a much better dentist who cares and costs similar.
Great dental practice. So glad I went back to them. Extremely experienced dentists that are able to identify and diagnose dental problems very quickly. I would certainly not change to another dentist after such great service both today and over the years.
Well organised dental surgery. Nice ambience from the waiting patients' perspective. Friendly competent staff (admin, dentists & hygienists). That's my experience, which is all I can comment on of course.
Worst dentist I’ve ever come across!! Once you’re in the chair and numbed up they completely change the price and extort you. Absolutely ruined my partners teeth. STAY FAR AWAY
Had an emergency appointment and dentist on call clearly explained to me everyone I ought to be doing from now on. Didn't feel rushed and was attentive to my questions.
Dentist was good here. The lady hygienist is slap dash, not friendly and I came away still with plaque on my teeth. Glad to have moved elsewhere.
Busy, friendly family dental practice. My family have been going to this surgery for nearly 22 years and only have good things to say about it.
Good customer service, a bit small for my personal opinion for mother with kids
Top quality! Great service
