The best local pour of Guinness in Dublin. Really fantastic bar right outside the Temple Bar area. The Palace was recommended by multiple locals and did not disappoint. Downstairs was very busy but the Whiskey bar upstairs had plenty of seating even the day after St Patty's day. The bartender and staff were kind as always. The upstairs bartender recommended a good pour of their house whiskey. We also had a pint of Guinness. It was indeed a good Guinness as recommended. The decor and atmosphere were top notch and really unique, even for Dublin. The other patrons were by no means unfriendly but less open to conversation than the other more local pubs we have visited. It was the day after Patty's day though. Highly recommended

This iconic and historical pub is famous for its beautiful facade and interior. It offers great customer service and a huge variety of beers. We had several options recommended by the bartender, and all of them were good and at a fair price. It can become really crowded and hard to get a table at times.

Amazing pub located on the otherwise terrible Temple Bar tourist strip in Dublin. The stained glass ceiling in the back room is a genuine marvel and it's otherwise a very cool vibe vis a vis the drink, food and vibe. I didn't actually see any evidence of food while I was there.

Great whiskey bar upstairs - fantastic atmosphere, decor and range of whiskeys. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic bar staff who love to talk about whiskey. Its a good spot when it's busy and a good spot when it's quiet. Not the cheapest but you wouldn't expect it to be in this location! When I win the lotto I'll come back and try all the fancy whiskeys, until then it's window shopping for me.

My review is for the irish coffee/ whiskey tasting experience that I had here. Great way to get introduced to the spirit and drink as the ambiance was delightful! Derek di a great job over the 90 mins tasting in giving the history of whiskey in general and the brand Powers. Now if you have no basic knowledge of whiskey ask, Derek will go over the process so don't be afraid to ask questions:):)

Lunchtime on a Friday. Decided to have a pint on my Sweeney. Couldn't pick a better place to do it. Very busy with tourists and some locals. Excellent pint, a bit pricey, but not bad compared to other establishments In the vicinity Ideal for two or three quick pints Always loved this place and street long before the current version of Temple Bar was heard of Great old Dublin boozer

An 800 year old family pub located in Fleet Street Temple Bar in Dublin city. Great decor, atmosphere, service, and a great pint of Guinness. It's very friendly and well priced for its location, and they even have a snug, which I just loved. We'll worth a visit and I look forward to going back.

Lovely space and a great pint. Stained glass skylight is beautiful also great pictures of previous visitors around. In the summer it's very warm in the back room because of the sky light so dress appropriately! One of our top three in Dublin for the short time we were there, loved it

Great spot for a pint and a chat with a mate, If your looking for a more quiet area the upstairs is the way to go. Good prices overall considering the competition and great service. Alex, great bartender and conversationalist. Able to have good craic with customers and give interesting insight into the options available. Would recommend strongly.

We participated in the Irish Coffee Master Class in the upstairs Whiskey Room. Derek was an amazing and impressively knowledgeable teacher. The space was a purely classic Irish Pub with generational owners and incredibly welcoming. We didn't want to leave.

Amazing!! Our taxi driver from the airport dropped us at our hotel (temple bar inn) and told us if we wanted the BEST pint of Guinness we needed to go here. And I can honestly say the best pint of Guinness I had in Dublin. Great atmosphere all day every day. And the lovely redhead bar maid (sorry we don’t know your name) was great. Very friendly and welcoming. 10/10!!

Great old traditional Dublin Pub. One of the few Victorian Public Houses left in Dublin Great pint of Guinness to be enjoyed here. Drop in for a chat and enjoy the Guinness go on try it for yourself. You can enjoy a special pint of porter brewed just for the Palace Bar celebrations, go on get in there and try it yourself.

At the top of Fleet St. The entrance to Temple Bar off Grafton. It is the best meet-up spot. The bar staff is very knowledgeable about whiskey's and Gin and they pour a mean pint of Guinness. You know it's a great pub when you meet local Irish people. It's always busy so if you get a spot at the bar consider yourself lucky! …

It’s a fabulously historic bar surrounded by all kinds of Whiskey in Fleet Street. I tried “The Palace Bar” their own brand of Whisky which was so good. It has full of old wood and is very close to the rest of the bar. Worthy to try.

While this was in the middle of Temple Bar, Palace bar was a gem of a place. We spent an entire afternoon drinking pints of different Irish beers. We were surrounded by locals and a very cozy space. the Bartender was super nice. he let us try some beers before ordering. Will be back when I go back to Ireland.

A ton of history in this pub. Favorite spot to writers working at the paper down the street. Came here for my first pint on my first day in Dublin. Great, quiet atmosphere early afternoon on a Sunday. Quant, separated 2 seater spots at the bar. Helps for some good conversation. Great point of Guinness too!

Great historic Irish pub in the center of Dublin. As one of the most famous pub, this has a very cozy atmosphere, and a beautiful whiskey bar upstairs. Definitely it's worth a visit, probably this is the only pub in the Temple Bar area that's not a tourist trap and frequented by the locals.

Celebrating its 200 anniversary in 2023, this is one of a small number of genuinely traditional Dublin pubs, with a famous clientele of literary figures and journalists dating from the 1940s, many of whom adorn the walls in its famous back room.

I stopped for a Guiness early in October. It was a quiet late morning time with a few clients inside and a couple of them at the tables outside. Decoration on the walls is really one of the kind. Wooden bar and shelves all of them fully stuffed with botles built a unique atmosheare.
