Our 1st time in this bar on Saturday afternoon very busy as you would expect, just called in for drinks, initially we just stayed by the front entrance but then we moved more into the pub & managed to get a seat near where we could see the musicians. Absolutely loved it in there, had a couple of drinks then as we enjoyed it so much we called in again later that evening as wasn’t keen on another pub that we went in,it’s just a fab atmosphere in Temple Bar & everyone is so friendly.Saturday afternoon there were staff coming up with I Pads taking drink orders but Saturday night not really any of them about.Absolutely buzzing Saturday night in there, different musicians on. Again just had drinks, didn’t find it no more expensive than going out in Manchester or Leeds for drinking really.Fabulous pub, great atmosphere & friendly people.Had such a good time.

You know something? This is the best bar I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen many across the world. Live bands playing every single day - talented musicians playing a mix of Irish music and acoustic remakes of existing hits. The inside is just extraordinary, it’s so large and just keeps on going! Yes, it gets very crowded, of course it does, but they compensate for busy floor space with some of the best service you’ll ever see - order using their online site (scan the barcode on each table), and they’ll bring your drinks directly to you! Very reasonably priced and great food too (had the margarita pizza - it was beautiful!) Unlimited selection of lager, ales and spirits and an overall phenomenal experience. Can’t wait to come back!
Our first stop out in Dublin was here at the famous Temple Bar. It's a fun place. Yes, it was absolutely packed. However, there's a quick turnover of people, so it was easy to grab a seat. I liked that ppl are willing to share tables. Service is really fast, and staff look happy to be there. Music is loud enough to be heard from any of the connecting rooms, awesome . There were probably just as many folks standing outside the bar. It's definitely worth stopping in for the experience.

Great fun and great atmosphere. Bit hard to get a seat but they free up frequently so just keep an eye out. Usually not eaiting long, but almost impossible to get seated in side where live singers are, however there are screens around the pub you can watch them on. Level of talent of live singers varies. Slightly more expensive than other bars but your paying for the image and atmosphere, which is good. Loads of servers with tablets moving around, so you don't even need to que at the bar. Even if you only call in for 1 drink, it's definitely worth a look.

The quintessential spot to grab a couple drinks, bite to eat and spend the evening listening to great music and meeting interesting people. Couldn't have ask for anything better. Service was relatively quick, can order at the bar, via the staff or even more efficient, the Table QR code/app. Hard to find a table as it's a going concern, but if you keep eyes open you can locate a spot and if like us, meet new friends sharing tables.

Everything's surprisingly good. I thought it was a tourist trap at first, coz it appears on loads of travelogue and recommendation, but it was a super nice tourist trap (in a good way!) The waiter was really nice, the live music (classic pop music and folk music) was incredible, the Oysters were really reasonably priced, and the atmosphere and interior design... All fantastic! Spent a magical night in the pub. I'll say it's a must try in Ireland. Worth the price.

There are no enough words which would describe my feelings towards this place, but remembering a poem.. Once more I greet thee, Temple Bar, That hast so often from afar Risen amid my dreams; When avalanches round me roared, Or where the Tagus, sunlit, poured Its stately golden streams..... Wonderful bar, great atmosphere, amazing staff. The singer on Saturday afternoon took my heart, he did put the place on fire. A must visit while in Dublin. Never miss it. A place you'll never forget x

This place was a must I was told when visiting Dublin. But I have to say I found it very underwhelming, it was packed like you wouldn’t believe and the drinks were very overpriced. There was entertainment on which was great but couldn’t watch him in person only on the tv screen they had on around the pub as it was so busy. The place is big and there is lots of security all around which is good. Overall I would say it’s defo worth a pop in just to say you’ve been there but wasn’t my cup of tea.

What can I say, but it is the Temple Bar! We spent 9 hours here, absolutely loving this place. The service and atmosphere are top-notch. I can't think of a better place where I had drinks. Great pub food to keep you going and foot a tapping. We were there on Sunday and loved the constant flow of live entertainment- amazing! Can it get a bit expensive? Depends on you value the atmosphere and entertainment at I guess. We loved our time at this iconic pub. Cheers

Visiting Temple Bar Pub in Dublin during the holiday season was a dream come true and truly lived up to my expectations! Despite the crowds, the festive Christmas vibes added an extra layer of joy to the experience. While the drinks were a bit on the pricey side, it was anticipated for such a popular spot. The lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and the overall charm of the pub made it an unforgettable experience. I had an amazing time soaking in the holiday spirit at Temple Bar Pub – definitely a must-visit for anyone looking to celebrate in style!
Such a fun and lively pub.bif you are looking for a traditional Irish pub with Irish people and music this isn't it. This is an old popular pub amongst foreigners. Very touristy but so much fun. We went in the afternoon and it was standing room only. A great Irish man playing guitar. He had the whole crowd singing and was very entertaining. It's a little pricey because it is all tourists but still worth visiting and having a pint or two. Very limited bar food is served.

I was skeptical about this pub because of the “Tourist Trap” expectations but, I found that not to be the case. When I was there there was a nice mix of tourists and locals! Lots of little nooks and crannies to hang out! Yes they do charge more for the pints but,for the top notch entertainment it was well worth it! Not the same 3 Irish songs you here in most other pubs! My favorite pub in Dublin and I went to a lot of them putting a serious dent in the Guinness supply. Cheers!!!!!

It was so busy, even in the early afternoon, we almost didn't find a table. Service was pleasant, but with how busy it was, it certainly wasn't fast. The Irish Coffees really were great, the music was mediocre. I say that because like many tourists, we were hoping to hear some traditional Irish music instead of cover after cover of American music. Ah, well... There was one big of Irish music in the video attached to this review, so that was nice.

The atmosphere is great, the live music is awesome and it’s always packed with people from different countries. The service though was not great, the bar waiters were not very friendly. Also something I didn’t like was the amount of beer the bartender wasted. Apparently some people ordered pints of beer and after two calls if not there to pick them up they were wasted. And that happened at least twice.

We popped in here just before mid day on a Friday and spent a couple of hours sat at the bar soaking up the atmosphere, some great entertainers on,guitars were a plenty and good old Irish songs that took me back to my childhood. Cracking pint of guiness, plenty of staff dotted around, taking orders from tables and not just at the bar. Staff all lovely and friendly too. A real lively afternoon enjoyed by us,we cant wait to visit again. Sláinte

We have visited on two occasions now, where we ended up staying all night because its such a great atmosphere! You are all tightly packed in together but it is such a good laugh. It's very expensive at €10 a pint, €14 for a single malibu mixer and €40 euros for a bottle od house wine but the atmosphere is worth it.

The Temple Bar Pub is definitely a fun visit. It is very crowded inside and the drinks are expensive, but it is still worth visiting when you are in Dublin anyways. The interior looks very nice as well. Just would not recommend staying here for hours since there is lots of fun pubs around the area with live music and much better prices for drinks. So a must-visit, but wouldn't spend all your holiday money in here.

You have to come into this place with the proper expectations. If you are looking for an excellent meal in a quiet setting this isn't the place. If you are looking for a madhouse of amazing live music, a tremendous selection of alcohol, and enthusiastic crowd participation then this place is a whole lot of fun. Always a good time at The Temple Bar Pub, the staff are always very friendly, the beers are always cold and the venue has the best atmosphere of any pub we have been to. Also has to be one of the largest spirits collection on sale of any pub in the area so there is bound to be something here to make any crowd happy. Cheers The Temple Bar Pub. Can sometimes be a bit hard to get a seat or a table here but it’s worth the wait.

Amazing venue! Fun. Fun. Fun. Everything you want to experience going to a pub is there. The atmosphere was sensational even we went there at 1pm. The singer/guitarist was exceptionally good and very entertaining. The crowd was amazing. Everyone sang along. Even it’s packed but everyone was kind to each other. We ordered classic chilli beef nachos, the best I ever had! That day was one of the bests!

Went with 3 people on a Saturday night, really busy, full of life and great atmosphere, amazing live music with Irish songs. I've always wanted to eat at Temple Bar, but it's usually pretty crowded. We were able to snag a table in the late afternoon while the musician was on break, because several tables emptied after his set. I ordered the corned beef sandwich, which was excellent. Most of the meals cost around 20 Euros, with seafood being a bit more expensive. Service was fast.

Having a pint in Temple Bar is a real Irish experience. I’ve been here a few times and it was always crowded, especially at the weekends. You get to see live music while enjoying your beer. The Temple Bar Pub is great, but it can be overcrowded. Luckily, they have two entrances, but it still took us about 10-15 minutes to make it to the second bar in the back when going in the front entrance. The service is good and pretty quick, but the overcrowding can make it difficult to find any place to stand or sit.

Great atmosphere and quirky bars. Seems quite pricey and not sure you get a full pint of Guinness but a good find to tick off Temple Bar.

Although very busy, the waiters were calm and friendly. The prices were higher what is certainly owed being a famous touristic place.

Amazing atmosphere! Life music! Packed like on St Paddy's Day and just don't talk about prices but you know it's Dublin

The absolute gem environment. This place has an unmatched vibe. I don't drink alcohol bit still will recommend to anyone for a wonderful evening just for the atmosphere and vibe this place offers. More
One of the best bars in Dublin BUT also the most expensive. Worth it, though, for the live music, atmosphere, and lovely staff! Ozzy and Kevin are amazing musicians. If you get a chance to see them!
Unfortunately too busy when we visited and no seats available. However it's worth visiting just to see the building itself. It's a fun building. Really fun at Christmas time with all the lights.
This is a must see pub, if you are in Dublin, it is quite iconic, usually very crowded and loud but the vibe is good and the service is fast.

It’s party time. Crowded, but so much fun. Go and enjoy the music and good times with old friends and make some new ones too!

It doesn't represent a true Irish pub because it is full of tourists, but the atmosphere is incredible. It is an amazing place and I would recommend to stop by for a pint. More
It looks really cool outside and inside but it was so packed inside we ended up leaving with no beers :( There was barely room to stand. Kind of disappointing.
Definitely a place that lives up to its reputation. Awesome atmosphere with live music and some pretty amazing Guinness! 100% need to visit when in Dublin More
Iconic pub but too overcrowded and noisy for a drink. Worth visiting during day&night but not staying. There are better places in Dublin

If in Dublin, the place everyone goes to. Therefore always full. Typical pub atmosphere. Don’t miss the oysters…they are fantastic. More
