Always so beautiful and clean! Their maintenance program is really wonderful and work so hard especially when families make a horrible mess for others to clean. A group of several mothers and their multiple children joined the gorgeous Splash Pad area and left their area a mess. Littered the area with tissues and napkin pieces soaked with water. They let their kids throw it all around and it was disgusting. Not only was it littering, and unsightly, but it could easily clog the pipes for the Splash Pad area and then no one would be able to enjoy. I called the Pearl number and they got me in tough with maintenance. Then a very polite worker, William, came and picked up their mess all while they watched and did nothing. Nor did they say anything to their children for making the mess. I felt so bad for William, offered my help and even a cold beverage but he said no and just did his best cleaning up after this horrible group of people. Not ONE of those ladies said anything to him and just watched as he picked up their mess. Yes, he is a worker for maintenance but it is NOT his job to clean up after someone else's mess as they watch. Thank you William and the Pearl for keeping this iconic location so beautiful for all to use. Those who are grateful and for those who obviously are not. (The pictures are of some of the mess before and after and of the women walking past him and acting like nothing was wrong.)
“The Pearl”, or The Pearl District in San Antonio is a great place to stop by. The City Bus tour has this as a stop on the route, so make sure you stop here. Everything from the historic Hotel Emma, which is absolutely beautiful, but expensive (they let you walk through and see it even if you aren’t a guest), to the brewery, to the outdoor water/table/relax area, which carry’s free wifi, to the indoor food court, or even how about the bakery if you don’t want to do the food court? The bakery has food as well. It’s a peaceful, chill area to read, work on your laptop for work, homework or leisure, or to just sit and people watch. If you get hungry or thirsty, you’re covered. If you want to browse some shops, you have that option too. Maybe you just want to walk around and soak in the historic buildings and elements around you? It’s a place you’ll want to stop and cross of your list as having been there, and you’ll likely want to make additional stops.
I’ve been here three times in the past couple of years and it’s always a beautiful visit, great place for single people couples families groups of people friends and anyone simply looking to have a great time people watching. So many food options and plenty of places to grab some amazing drinks, expect it to be hot so stay hydrated. There’s artificial grass in the middle where you can sit and enjoy a cool picnic, there’s electric scooters you can rent as well but they’re not allowed inside the main part of the pearl. Please keep it clean and be mindful of those visiting and those who live surrounding the area.
Built in 1886 as The Lone Star Brewery, now defunct and turned into the Hotel Emma and its surrounded by restaurants, shops, live music, etc. On the weekends you can venture onto the Farmers Market held around the Hotel grounds, where locals and surroundings town folks sell fresh local produce and experience a unique local & cultural cuisines, such as delicious crepes, empanadas, fish tacos, Chicken curry, etc. Great place to bring family and friends, also very much pet friendly. Enjoy the experiences.
We had a wonderful time people and dog watching while various musicians gave sections of the square different impressions. There was a fella playing the accordion by Bakery Lorraine, so that corner had a Parisian feel, while in another corner, a couple of guys were singing songs from the 60’s. There's a good range of dining choices there to fit most budgets, but idk if I'd want to live in the apartments surrounding the square, it's a bit noisy for my taste.
Where else can you drink beer while your kids run around playing tag and soccer while kids play in the fountain? This is a great family get away before dinner. The Pearl is a great place for food and family or just some coffee and friends. I like Cured the best for food. The only thing missing is a good craft brewery, that would make this place golden, but for now it is still a great place to visit. Time for ice cream!
I love this area so much and used to love bringing my fur baby to have her daily walk or outing but these last two times I have been super disappointed. First time my chi weenie had a tick and this last time she had two huge fleas. Really hope they properly treat this area due to the mass amounts of pets. Also understand they can’t always control these things and will likely try one last time.
This is a great place for a date or to take the kids... great atmosphere, friendly people, great restaurants, a splash pad, and a lawn for the kids. 4 stars only because there used to be certain parking areas that were a little farther away that you didn't have to pay for, but now you cannot park without paying, even if you have to walk a significant distance to get to the park.
Lovely place where you’ll have plenty of fun, alone or with family. A lot of good people watching, if you’re into that, especially with so many tourists and locals visiting daily. Of course, the park is the place to gather outside so many great restaurants, bars, and stores within a stone’s throw. Be sure to sit outside and enjoy, relax, or even get some work done (free WiFi!)
Parking at the Pearl is definitely frustrating with prices that have gone up. I wish that they would have more weekend free time. Would help the local business. Paying at the station was $10 and paying by phone via QR code or Texting number was $12.

The Pearl Brewery has to be one of the most unique places to visit in San Antonio. At Christmas we went down and took some photos of the shops, restaurants, listened to music, saw the lights and buildings. I love to go to the pearl. There is always a nice atmosphere of people going on. On Saturday there is a farmers market. There is a coffee shop and a great bookstore.
Awesome place with lots to do and lots to discover. You can have a beer or a sangria in a pouch from southerleigh and head on out for a stroll and discover what the pearl has to offer, almost everything is walking distance from night life , too dinner or even just a drink at a casual bar along with the grass covered plaza where people tend to hang out even at night.
Awesome place to come to. But they need to recruit more vendors. More farmers market! Much more. Do not think it’s that difficult to do! You can spread out to all areas of the Pearl. Have more seating area. Also get a barrel in the middle of park area and have hula hoops, balls, etc for kids to play with. Just put sign please put back for those who do not get it!!
We kept being told by the locals to come to The Pearl. I recommend during the late morning and afternoon. This way you will have plenty of time to see all of the shops, restaurants, and relax in the park. One building has several restaurants inside of it like a mall food court with different cuisines from around the world. Restaurants close at 9pm.
This place is a great place to visit. We are from out of town and it was fun and relaxing to be able to eat and drink outside in the nice weather. The place had a lot of life and movement for a Monday night and it was great to be able to sit wear you want in the man made park and have food and drinks delivered to you as many times as you wanted.
We had the pleasure of visiting The Park at the Pearl with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. There were a lot of vendors on the weekend, as well as a lot of people just walking around and enjoying the day. This is definitely a spot where you can go and socialize with strangers, friends, and family. "Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"
Enjoyed multiple weekend days and nights with the family here. This is one of those places that don't exist anywhere else. It has a nice turf field surrounded by tables and the food court to the side. On certain days they'll have events as well. Take your kids on a weekend in the summer and you'll notice a tiny splash park for kids to enjoy.
"Good vibes” Came here with my family on Christmas Day, was a day to get out. Good scenery, good atmosphere. They have a lot of stores to visit and nice restaurants. Parking is decent . `good for couples or families’ also kid friendly.

This is a really great place to spend the afternoon with friends and family. It's a great community atmosphere. People bring soccer balls and footballs and everyone plays together. It's a bit of a mele of kids running around back and forth but everyone is having fun. There is also a splash pad that's very popular with all the kids.
Just a beautiful place to enjoy all around. So many activities are happening for all to enjoy. It's ideal for festivals and the farmers market they have going on along with live music and yoga to name just a few. It is great just to sit and relax with friends on a quiet afternoon. Such a nice addition to the city of San Antonio!
There were many options for dining here. Though i was not able to go to many because at the time of visiting most restaurants were closed. Most restaurants here we're a little overpriced and had a long wait. But the outside was beautiful, it was well decorated and well designed. A great place to go hang out and have fun.
This place is fun!! I’d love to go out with a bottle of wine, some snacks, let’s the kiddies loose and enjoy! Dress your kids all in the same colors though so you can pick them out in the crowd. Lots of people!:). Which is super fun, just a little nerve wracking trying to keep Up with them.
Buenas tardes. A qui con Pokemon Raids. Love to walk with pokemon raids. Great place to coming. Really romantic to walk around the river or sit. Great place to eating. One my favorite vegetarian restaurant. WOW they have much choose from us. is always event. Ejoy have AWESOME day. God bless
The Pearl has come a long way from back in the days. If you haven't been lately, go. It's very upscale and nice looking now. The grounds are well kept and the eateries all around are very nice but pricey. Enjoy Market Days on certain days where you can buy fresh grown vegetables as well.
Pretty park for walking, and as hot as the day may be you can always find a shaded area with a bench. With some beautiful greenery and the sound of water splashing while ducks are bathing! Surrounded by shops some are closed due to Covid but some are open! Wear mask be safe and enjoy.
It's a nice place to just relax with a friend, have lunch and be out in the world. But it does get busy on the weekends so it can be hard to find a place to sit and relax. So if you decide to come, plan to take some time before you can find a decent location to sit.
Love the splash pad...only a couple of the jets work at this point though...some parents should pay more attention to their kids manners though....I bring my own food cause I haven't really found anything good there. .....but fun place that's pretty to take kiddos
Beautiful area to hang out and enjoy the sights and sounds of San Antonio's Pearl brewery area. There are open areas to let dogs, children, and beer drinkers run and play. On some nights there is live music. Easy access to the northern extension of the River Walk.
Very amazing place! Quality restaurants and nice little shops to go to. Clean and safe place to bring children, friends and family. Go ahead and bring your dogs too! There is many lights and gardens to relax and have coffee. I highly recommend this place! :)
Cool spot. Artificial turf, splash pad, ample shad, nearby eateries, etc. everything you need for a fun day out. It was cool to see how they preserved nearby historic buildings and retrofitted them with new businesses. Great spot for photography.
Such a great place to visit and lay out on the turf. Just get some friends, buy a drink, and listen to music. There are usually musicians out playing. It's also very kid friendly, so feel free to bring the kids and your fur babies. The pearl loves dogs!
Enjoyed the visit to the Holiday Night Market at the Pearl which is each Wednesday night in December. The parking was a little crazy but the market itself enjoyable with a lot of festive food, drinks, and shopping for the holidays ✨ …
Great place with a bunch of shops and places to eat and explore. Great outdoor play areas for families and pets. This was initially just a quick stop for lunch while in town. It ended up being the highlight of trip. Definitely worth a stop.
Great place to take the kids and dogs and DATES! Walk around perusing the vendors and grabbing a bite to eat.

Super fun place for gatherings or hanging out. The farmers market has a lot of interesting vendors, and the restaraunts are all tasty. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting San Antonio, or just wants a cool place to hangout.
Beautiful area. Fun to walk around, shop, grab something to eat. Very lively on the weekends, so great people watching. Definitely a great place to take visitors, new shops are popping up all the time! Dogs welcome.
An exciting dynamic fun mix-use space in San Antonio! This is home of the old Pearl Brewery! Builldings in all their glory are now turned into shops, pubs, book shops, restaurants and apartments. Y'all come enjoy!!
The Pearl is a beautiful exciting hang out in the heart of San Antonio. It has restaurants and bars and miles and miles of walks along the river. Plus the landscaping just makes it a must see place in San Antonio.
THE absolute trendiest common area in town! it’s less of a park & more of a sitting turf so bring your blankets & wine for a hip picnic also splash pad for the kiddos can be fun. …
La Gloria is 99 times out of 100 the best experience. Had everything wrong today. Tacos. Drinks. I'll be back but if it were a first visit, I'm out. Just felt so different this time.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Wonderful scenery, farmers market on the weekends, pet-friendly, welcoming shops, amazing pastries and coffee and a spot to go to for relaxation and a nice walk!
The Pearl is a great place e to be. Nice atmosphere and good eats.
Dog-friendliness
Lots of people walking their dogs.
Picnic area
Picnic area is nice by the water.
Visited san antonio and stopped here for drinks and dinner with friends. Such a beautiful place! Parking nearby that was very cheap and was good for 24hrs from time of purchase.
We went for my grandchildren to enjoy the lights. It was magical! The family and I enjoyed all Christmas atmosphere! Definitely a must visit during the Holidays.
We had a nice time. They had a DJ playing Spanish music in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. A dance company was offering Salsa and bachata dance lessons.
The pearl was amazing, so much to do and see! Street vendors, stores, food. It was a great place and family friendly. I enjoyed watching all the adorable pets.
Beautiful park, clean and very well kept. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants. Free wifi around and you're able to carry open drinks around just not in glass.
It was super nice and enjoyable seeing people around with their pets. The Latin dancing event by Esta Noche was tons of fun. I'm definitely going again!
Amazing place to come with family, the ambience is so fun, also pretty nice to walk around, few restaurants around the area and a dog park friendly
This place is perfect to stop by with the kids to cool off and get some energy out and have a good brew. Lots of food options and a splash pad!
Very cool place to walk, eat, drink, people watch and relax. It's the best public square in San Antonio without being overwhelmed by tourists.
The coolest spot to meet up! Usually room for everyone. I would suggest bringing something to sit on not very nice to sit on for a long time.
To-go cocktails, beautiful scenic history, splash pad for kids, shopping, restaurants, river walk, dog friendly, this place has it all!!!
Nice scenery, great place for a walk and everyone is very friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to explore San Antonio
Beautiful area, friendly people. A very social spot. Lots of shops and eateries. We will be bringing the extended family to visit!
Great place for all. Bring the kids, a date, Gramps, bring em all and just chill out watching everyone get along with each other.
This place is fantastic, beautiful, & so unique. There are amazing food options and it’s all walkable. It’s dog & kid friendly!
Great ambiance and plenty of places to sit and relax while the kiddos play. Parking is easy too, just a nice place to come.
The revitalization of the Pearl is its own community with restaurants, hotels, parks, gifts shops, bars, live music, ect.
Fun place to bring your family and furry friends! Lots of tables with umbrellas to sit at, eat and enjoy some cocktails.
Beautiful park next to this wonderful Pearl district. Check this out over the other tourist trap West of the Riverwalk.
Went for first Thursday and while the Farmers market on Sunday is larger this was still very nice and pleasant.
It's my favorite place to take out of town guests. But now that they charge for parking, we don't go as often.
Some breakfast at (Hotel Emma's) Supper followed by an urban hike along San Antonio Riverwalk's Museum Reach!
A lively area with delicious food vendors, beverages, shopping and weekend farmer's market. Highly recommend.
Cute park! Water feature for kids with swimsuits. Lawn for acroyoga! And a food court for some eats & drinks.
Lots of great vendors, shops and restaurants. A nice place to spend the day hanging out or walking the river.
Such a cool place to hang out and get a drink, grab some dinner or just enjoy a nice day with the family
Very nice place. Lots of kids and dogs. Drinks are pricey and small. The Ramen restaurant is very good.
This is a nice and quite place to walk around in the evening. It is perfect for families and groups.
Top notch. Really like this place, clean, pretty, with good social distancing rules. Really cool
Cute area!! I enjoyed the outside seating. There are some restaurants and bars to visit as well.
Really nice area. Nicer restaurants, bakeries, and boutique stores. Very nice!
Extremely clean and beautiful to look at during the night. Highly recommend.
Great place to walk around and has very nice places to eat.
Nice place to spare some time with friends or family.
Love the Pearl. Can always find something fun to do.
Super fun but usually very crowded on weekends
