We were so excited to be celebrating two birthdays at Red room. One of the birthday girls emailed weeks in advance to set up a guest list and reserve a table. The communication was awful and they had to follow up several times. They were instructed to arrive before 10:00 p.m. we were told our party would get one free drink each, half price cover, a reserved booth and guest list entry. We showed up at 9:50 p.m. the girl who was in charge was in a heated confrontation with a drunk guest. Once she finished that interaction we inquired about our guest list and she told us that we were too late, would't get any of the perks that were quoted and have to wait in the long line even though it was prior 10 p.m. Cut off. She was incredibly ill-mannered to put it politely. We were in the line, one of our friends was a regular prior of the pandemic ( this was the first time out to a club for all of us) he was able to talk to a bouncer he had a good rapport with about the situation we were able to enter the guest list side. At this point it was 9:58 p.m. When we had to pay our covers the half price is not honoured. Then we were told that a $5 coat check was mandatory. We checked the dress code prior to coming and it said that there was a $3 coat check available but there was nothing about it being mandatory, or jackets not being allowed. Most frustratingly, we saw several people throughout the night wearing their jackets in the club. I was the first one in cuz I didn't have a coat with me. I was pretty disappointed to see that it was empty. I could potentially sympathize if there was a concern about accommodating guestlist due to traffic. However, this was just terrible customer service. All of us except one, this is thier first experience at Red Room and we won't come back. The service that we received was an absolute embarrassment . Your staff made the conscious decision to ruin the plans made for two people's 30th birthday parties at your club for no reason other than to flex their power. It is a rare occurrence that I have a customer experience that is so bad.... that Im invested enough to sit down and write a google review but here we are.
My friends and I went there today (September 15th), we paid to be on the guest list and got there around 9:20 to get in line. We arrived at the entrance at 11:03 and of course we were told that we had to pay the full entrance fee at that time. It's bad that they make you wait so long in line and you end up paying to get in. I guess all nightclubs do that (which I consider crazy), but that wasn't the problem. We were at the entrance (a group of 7), when they said we couldn't enter without paying the full fee, we stood there for maybe 1 minute trying to decide if we should go somewhere else or if everyone was okay paying the fee. . The doorman and the ladies at the entrance suddenly started treating us badly, as if we had done something wrong by staying there for 1 minute after queuing for almost 2 hours outside. The bouncer faced a friend as if he wanted to punch him, with a very threatening voice and very close to his face, asking very rudely “tell me what do you want” then my friend looked at us to see if we were leaving and he told him “look at me "Don't look at them, look at me and tell me what do you want." I told him there was no need to treat us like that, we weren't being rude or bothering anyone. The ladies started to snap there fingers and telling us to leave. I must say that it was a really shocking and sad experience, especially since it is a nightclub that makes money mainly from Latin Americans. But as a Latin American I didn't feel welcome there. I felt discriminated and treated like a criminal. No need to be rude guys, we don’t go there to bother you we go there to bring the money that pays for your salary.

The place sucks real bad. Refused entry! "says that effort counts but it doesn't." THEY said only leather or lace. I did best i could but my stretch cotton skirt and same material toga for warmth did not count they said outfit. could only be leather or lace. that's a pretty strict dress code compared to what they had on the list outside. kept saying to me That i was 'wearing denim'. That word means jeans. I wore none. Just very short skirt open on side and cape/toga for warmth. they said cross dress had to be full regalia. I don't know anyone my size not mention letting me borrow. I thought what i had was very close to what the pics outside depicted. I won't be trying that again. They demand an outfit i would get arrested in. especially being a minority. I feel very targeted or singled out.I'm also kinda pissed at not being considered for the effort made. i was so proud of my outfit. AAAAAAARG! i don't own any leather or lace. so my only choices would have been to build an outfit or go to some kind of specialty shop and spend a huge amount for an outfit i may never be able to wear again. I am very hurt and disappointed by how i was treated. they mentioned the person who judged outfits was not going to be there and so they were being extra strict about it. I don't believe that excuse. I think it was targeting me for personal reasons. That is pretty stupid having only one person to decide outfit suitability.
WORST EXPERIENCE in a nightclub in Vancouver. I read this has happened before to many people, which makes me really sad. My friends and I arrived at 9:20pm and had already paid for the guest list. It was supposed to be valid until 11pm. But we had to wait 1.5 HOURS IN LINE!! and by the time we finally made it to the entrance, it was 11:03pm, and they wanted us to pay the cover. I explained to the person receiving the money that I didn't think it was fair, we waited almos 2 hours in line and it was only 11:03pm, to which the man replied in a very rude way, that if I didn't want to pay, I could leave. I expressed again my complain and he started yelling at me, and my friends. The lady at the entrance snapped her fingers to my friends, asking us to move and to leave. And the man who decides who comes in, was INCREDIBLY RUDE to all of us. I told him that if they didn't make us wait for that long in line, maybe we could had entered in time for the guest list to be valid. And he replied "if you had arrived earlier this wouldn't had happened". So they want us to arrive at 5pm Anyway, they yelled and treated us horribly. WORST SERVICE, WORST NIGHTCLUB. This is not the way you treat people who are paying to have a good time. Specially Mexicans on September 15th.

I’ve been to the RedRoom twice now as an ontario resident while here on vacation. i’ve been to clubs all across north america and have been attending dubstep shows for over a decade now. a) someone needs to tell the girl with the red hair (was braided on saturday the 29th) who loves to stand at the door and let her friends in to lay off the coke. both times i’ve been here she has gotten in my face and yelled over minor misunderstandings. sorry i didn’t have the double stamp, that doesn’t give you a right to get in my face and yell at me, maybe you guys need a better system or explanation for the non locals?!?! b) get some air movement in the place. how much does it cost to hook a few fans up in the ceiling. you are killing your attendees c) nearly five dollars for a bottle of water from the bar. this is a crime in itself and promotes dehydration and further alcohol consumption the rest of the staff was awesome. the guy who scanned my ticket was super nice and helpful, the security guard who searched me was also very respectful. but the fact both times i’ve been here the same person has gotten in my face tells me there is a weak link at the door. these are suppose to be safe spaces and i almost turned around and walked away before i even got to dance based on extreme anxiety and discomfort.
Worst experience I've had clubbing in Vancouver and it was for my birthday too. I was so disappointed I wanted to share. The music inside is great; however, that's where the good ends. I would NOT recommend getting guest list unless you're planning to show up before 10pm. I seriously mean this. We had guest list (which you have to pay for in advance!) that said it was valid for cover discount until 11pm, showed up early and got in line around 10:20pm; they only had one big line up for everyone (guest L and non-guest L) and so we got to the front desk at 11:03pm. Front desk was fairly rude & they charged us full price without honouring guest list despite us getting there close to 45 minutes early. Drinks were expensive but not ridiculous. I've had way better experiences with Levels if you want a club vibe. Levels has a separate lineup for guest list, and if you show up before guest list ends and get in line you get a free cover ticket immediately, regardless of what time you actually get to the front desk. Way kinder and way more efficient. I suppose it depends if guest list matters to you & what type of music you like! Hope this helps

If I could give 0 stars, I would! on March 4, 2022, after waiting for 2 hours in line, I finally made it to the front of the line. The bouncer said he will not let me and my friend in unless we pay him 50 dollars each as a tip, which we did. Note, we were not skipping the line, we waited in line and when it was finally our turn to go in, the bouncer requested 50 dollars from each of us in order to let us in. He said if we don't pay, we don't get in. I understand people tip the door man when skipping the line, but to pay the door man when we are not skipping the line?? Never seen it before. After we went in, the cashier said the cover was 50 per person!! Which we paid. Even though the cover is 20 but the cashier forced a tip out if us! So in total, my friend and I paid 200 dollars to get in! The bouncer I am referring to is the Indian guy with a turban. He is a thief and taking full advantage of customers. All other bouncers are aware of the situation and doing the same thing with other customers. I was completely ignored when I messaged club management. Apparently, bouncers ripping off customers is common practice if you look at the other reviews. Let's see what they have to say to this review.
Last night was the worst clubbing experience ever! The Indian doorman with a turban on his head was taking 100 dollar tips from each and every customer walking in the main entrance to the club. If you don't pay, no entry! My girlfriend and I managed to be the first in the lineup after a long wait. When we got to the front of the line, we were told that we had to pay the doorman a 100 dollar each in to order to enter. My girlfriend and I were so excited to check out Friday Latin Nights at red room, so we negotiated the 100 dollar per person to 50 dollars per person. After going through the main door, we went to the cashier/person who scans IDs. She asked that we pay another 50 bucks each for cover. What a rip off! While the music was good, the door men were out of control, and we're ripping people off like crazy. I don't usually write reviews, but had to get this off my chest. I asked the bartender if I could speak to a manager, and she said that there was no manager at the time. Finally, the old bus girl was pushing people aggressively when walking around... Never seen anything like it before at any other nightclub. I hope management would investigative the above issues.
I had the worse experience ever!! Last time I went there it was before covid. But I decided to celebrate my birthday on Friday November 10. I made a guest list and everything, i went with my group of friends. We were a group of 6 in total. The bouncers were very rude to us, specially the redhead white girl so was checking our ID's, i was trying to explain something to her and she gave me an attitude and was talking to me in such a rude way, that i made a comment complaining about the way she was speaking to me. They she told me that I feel i didn't like it there then i could just get out, so we did. Half of my friends were inside and they were being treated very rude and mean as well. I really believe that they discriminated us because we were all immigrants. They toned and they way they talk to us it was completely unacceptable. We did not do anything wrong to be treated so horrible, I want to take this to the next step and someone has to take accountability for that kind of behaviour!!!!! Don't go there. I Do not recommended

Racist establishment, the entry staff abused us at the entrance and made racist gestures Update in response to business’ statements: Establishment is cleverly disguising their faults by transferring blame. They forgot that we went back and brought the ID and made no complaints on this issue and yet the staff made us feel unwelcome. When asked if they could offer somewhat of a smile, they accused us of being rude. We didn’t see such rude behavior with any other white guests and staff literally shouted and pushed us touching us inappropriately. We lost our patience and cool at such racist behavior. Often racism is subtle and those who feel entitled find smallest of excuses to make biased actions against particular community. You can defend all you want but it is clear that even if the establishment may not be run by racist people, some of the people are definitely racist. I’m sorry to see such behavior in a place like Canada and it’s really a shame. Good luck to you in future and hopefully you will be more welcoming and inclusive in future.
As an international student I participated "welcome party" organized by my school in this place. I had a good time meeting many new people, mainly Japanese. That is the only pro on this place. Now the con: I have never seen such ridiculously overpriced drinks. That is the first shame I want to put on this place. The second one is the staff, well some staff. Don't smile much and is quite rude. If you don't like working here, you can find a job somewhere else. Nobody forces you to work here!! Some people there seemed to be cold, I'd be ashamed if I were you!! Definitely do not recommend this place, waste of time and money, overall!! All thanks mainly to the staff. Hope you will get lesser and lesser visitors. Never again!!

Many times there and getting worst. Friday July 14, the dj was cutting the songs in a bad way. He wasn't checking if the people were having a good time. He was just looking at the board enjoying himself. Whenever there was a good song, He just cutt them in the middle. We all decided not comeback there. The super long lining up waiting to enter. Once inside the place wasn't not even half full. Why making us waiting for such a long time when the place wasn't full. The guy in the washroom demanding for tips. There was barely air conditioning, horrible hot, can't breath. All this problems have been happening the last three times we were there.

Terrible experience. Please beware of this place. Unfortunatley, the negative reviews are all true. This place is a total rip off. The Indian bouncer with a turban is demanding a 40 a dollar tip from everyone in the guest list lineup and the regular lineup before letting anyone in. Once you are past the main doors, the cover charge is 50 dollars per person. What a rip off. Ruined my entire night. The bouncers are ripping people off openly without fear of repercussions, absolutely imbarasing. Looking at the other reviews, its sad to see the the club owner is blaming customers rather than taking responsibility and actually fixing the problem.
I’ve known this Club since 2011 and go there on a regular basis ever since. This is the friendliest place to LGBTQ+++ Have brought many of people who identify as in gay, lesbian, trans, gender fluid and two spirited there and never have had any bad experience. I myself used to be Drag Performer, now retired yet considered local celebrity within Latin community, and staff is always been respectful, attentive, great overall, and this is an honest review to contradict what someone expressed negatively towards a specific person. So don’t let them fool you and go and have a great experience only the Red Room team is to offer to ya!!!
Worst nightclub in town! Stay away if you don't want to be robbed. The bouncer asked 100 dollars per person to let us in, even though we waited in line (we were not skipping the line). Basically the bouncer was ripping off all the customers, wither they were skipping the line or even when the customers waited in line for hours. After paying 100 each to the bouncer, the girl checking ids said the cover was 50 per customer! We paid and got in since we waited in line all night and we were not able to back out as the bouncer already took 100 dollars from each of us! We were a total of 5 people. I will never visit the redroom again.
This is my favourite constant place to go dancing in Vancouver! Smaller venues around vancouver that actually book QUALITY electronic acts are few and far between. There's a bunch that were great, but they didn't stand the test of time (RIP Lotus, W2, etc) but the Red Room stands strong! They always book amazing acts, and the vibe on the dancefloor is always perfection. I've been going here for 13 years (whoa... I just realized 2009 was 13 years ago) and I look forward to coming there for 13 more. This place feels like home, if home were a club. Photos from the most recent SUBculture Saturdays. Can't wait for the next one!
The Red Room is one of the coolest clubs I have ever been to!! The sound system, staff, and vibes are out of this world. Every time I visit I have a good time, meet awesome people, and see some sick dj’s! Digital Motion organizes SUBculture Saturdays for all your bass music needs; they are a gift sent from heaven!! You can even buy ear protection (which is also RedRoom/Digital Motion merch ) there; soooo worth it to protect your hearing, but while still experiencing the best bass through the most epic sound system in Vancouver. If you are in town visiting or have been curious to check out Red Room, give it a try!
The clown Looking Indian doorman with a truban is real! There was no lineup when my friends and I arrived. We were a total of 4 people. The Indian doorman said he needed a 40 dollar tip from each of us if we wanted to enter the club! We reluctantly paid, then entered and were shocked to learn that the cover was 50 dollars per person. Let's see what the owner says about this. Reading all the reviews, the owner frequently blames customers for not contacting management before posting a review! With so many reviews complaining about this Indian turban doorman, why is he still allowed to rip us off so publicly till now?
The guest list is a lie. The indian doorman will tell you to pay him 25$ just to skip the line (even if you are on the guest list) just to take the cash for himself. Then you’ll pay the entrance which is 30$ and 5$ for coat check (which is mandatory). What a steal, the indian doorman is rude and ruins your whole experience. @reply I do not have to call to give a review. Also thats not false information, this was my experience. The doorman was indian and told our group that the guest list doesn’t work anymore at the red room just to take 25$ from each person to skip the line and take the cash for himself.
Redroom Nightclub offers an exciting and vibrant nightlife experience. From its energetic atmosphere to its top-notch entertainment, this club has a lot to offer to party-goers. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by stylish and modern decor, with dim lighting that sets the mood for a thrilling night out. The music at Redroom is a highlight. Talented DJs spin a variety of genres, including electronic, hip-hop, and popular hits that keep the dance floor alive and buzzing. The club's sound system is excellent, ensuring that you can feel the beat and immerse yourself in the music.
Love subculture saturdays. They have an excellent sound system and earplugs available if it’s too loud for you (recommended for ear health if you are a frequent clubber). Typically no issues with the staff in my experience except for a time or two but not enough to deter me from returning. Front door bouncers are very nice and I haven’t seen the problem bouncer other reviews mentioned since I have started occasionally frequenting this club. Tickets slightly cheaper if you get them through a promoter. Good spot for all types of people. Younger/mid to late twenties crowd.
Bartender will ignore you if you ask for water. The temperature inside is kept deliberately high so it is hot and sweaty. And yes, this is compared to other nightclubs. So really hot room and no h2o should be a criminal offense. Their “mandatory” coat check is a rip-off - several males were wearing jackets but most of the women had to coat- check. Lady at the coat check is RUDE when there was no need to be. Music is not great. I’ve been to world class nightclubs in the States. This pales in comparison. Negative stars. Won’t be back. Recommend you don’t go either.
I am so impressed with this establishment. We came for my sister's bachelorette party and just wanted to check it out before commiting to come in. Tarren graciously brought us all in and got us a drink to check out the situation. The crowd was friendly the music was amazing... The atmosphere was off the wall. I'm not from van and we wanted to check out other clubs tomorrow but unfortunately for the other clubs we have picked our favorite spot. Thank you Tarren, Jeff (amazing bar tender) and the fam.

If you are looking for a top notch venue to see the latest and greatest in Bass music, look no further! Red room is hands down the best venue in the city to see and experience electronic Dance music. Between the PK sound and visuals they have running, it blows any club in Vancouver out of the water. Been going to Red room for a few years now and have yet to find a club that can beat the experience they put on here. Big shout out to digital motion for putting on Subculture Saturdays and making everyone feel welcome at the best venue in town!
Very disappointed with this club as we’ve reached 9:30pm and we had the guest list. Yet they charged us cover. Overall the customer service was so poor by these 2 ladies at the front desk, super rude. I wonder if they know what customer service is despite of their jobs. Moreover went at the bar near the washroom, even the bartender was rude while she poured us drink and I’m sure it was just juice . Like overall I would give this place 1/5. To all the people who will read this, save your money and time as it was not worth it at all
Great place great music. However had a bartender purposely ignore me for 10 minutes because I asked for water then when I asked her again she said she couldn't make water at the bar then stuck her tongue out at me gave me an empty cup and pointed at the bathroom. This whole time she was asking everyone she was serving if they wanted water?? I was super confused. She also said something about tips not coming from water? I was pretty blown away at this hopefully y'all get some staff that are more helpful in future.
Live music . Crowded enough to dance but not cramped in a bad way. Mostly male dominated. Beer was pricy. We had to pay the cover price. Two boys were bothering us constantly and were literally in our face but the security was only worried with my freind who took her shoes off for a second because her toes hurt. As a girl I wouldn’t go there alone. I didn’t have that kind of experience in clubs in US.

We visited this place last Friday and enjoyed our time there. This place had awesome vibes, with an energetic crowd and good music. it was Cancun night and it was mostly Spanish music. However, DJ was so good that even though we don't know Spanish we enjoyed the music. The entry fee is 25$ and the Drinks are a bit pricy but that is not too bad. There is more than 1 bar counter that makes it quicker to grab a drink. Overall i enjoyed the time and will visit again.
Living in Vancity for years now. I am so glad the clubs are open after COVID. Been visiting this club for so long & it doesn't disappoint after the reopening. Everything was great, music, vibe & the people. The people working here are very welcoming, especially the bouncers. They made sure everybody was scanned before entering the club. Took care of everyone while exiting the club. I was very happy with experience & will be back soon for another great evening.
The bouncer Nate, was very helpful. Went above and beyond to make sure my friends and I had a great night. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Also that PK sound is insane. Over all very happy experience will continue to go again. It’s people like that who make the atmosphere welcoming. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!! :)

Parking space
Somewhat difficult to find parking
Loss of ticket, that is paper, leads to no entry. A bit 1980s of them to still be using paper tickets. And the staff is very unhelpful in such a situation. Other than that one lame situation. Generally speaking, a good place for some electronic dance music (mostly dubstep) and usually good people (Shambhahla crowd).

I did not like this place as they are rude and the most shocking part to me was bartenders are not ready to serve water. They get irritated when you ask them for water. I have not seen it anywhere. I always drink water after drinks but here bartenders are rude to serve water. Water is a basic human need and you dont ever deny water to anyone in or outside any business. 0 rating.
Decided to do a night downtown after a concert and ended up with a wrist band that gave us half off! We had a friend from Washington visiting and we wanted to show her the great music subculture Saturday's has to offer! She loved it! One of my favourite clubs and was definitely not disappointed with the music. Thank you Red Room and we can't wait to see you on Saturday's!
Last night was my first Red Room experience, and will deffinitely not be my last. As a person who struggles in large crowds, it was the most inviting and positive atmosphere I have ever seen in an indoor venue in my 10+ years of playing/attending shows. Thank you to the entire Digital Motion crew, that was special.

Such a money grabbing place with rude customer service. Be prepared to pay tip for a “entrance fee” and be asked to pay $10 extra each person for mandatory jacket storage. Funny part is only had a thin overshirt and they impolitely asked me to leave when I asked them the reason why i need to remove my thin overshirt , so I got my refund and happily left haha
Amazing club for a night out!! Fridays are latin night, and subculture Saturdays have great bass, dnb and house nights - bringing in well known and underground gem DJs. Apply for guestlist via instagram for discounts on Friday nights! Best bartenders and bouncers ever who keep everyone safe :)

First time going and had a blast! Went for subculture Saturday, line wrapped around corner so didn't make it before the cutoff time. Bouncers were nice to our group. Sound system was loud and the local DJs were awesome! Loved that they had a water fountain. Bathrooms were clean. The crowd was dressed really cool and the vibe was great!
The Red Room is my favorite venue in the city! Saturday shows there are always so much fun. All the staff are nice and polite. People come to have a good time, get down, and enjoy music drama free. It’s probably the least pretentious and most welcoming club I’ve ever been to. Much love for you Red Room keep doing what you’re doing!!!
Best place in town for dancing Latin music on Fridays! Since I discovered this place, I want to go every Friday! The DJ Hera is definitely one of my favourites and I love they have a water dispenser and besides the two bars, they also have drink dispensing machines which makes the service so much effective!

I was there Friday night, bouncers were nice, the music was okay (they play too much reggaeton), and the space is large and great for dancing. The bartenders were rude though, and the coat check girl was specially rude, she was very short with people and refused to help or even look at me when asking a simple question
Every time I go to red room the atmosphere is great, the bartenders are lovely and the bouncers are very friendly. I love that there are women bouncers. For some reason, it makes me feel safer and respected when I see a woman at the door. Dana does a great job of that. Would come back to this place again and again.
I love the Red Room. You can see the stage from pretty much everywhere in the club except the bathrooms. They host a good variety of events - I've been to electronica nights, goth/alt nights, queer nights, all have been a blast. One time the bartender recommended a particular drink to match my outfit - 10/10.
latin night is super fun once you actually get inside the red room!! just beware that prepaying for guest list doesn’t do anything and you still have to stand in line (i waited 90 minutes with guest list), cover is super expensive, mandatory coat check which is either $5 or free with a 5 star review …
I love this venue!! I started going to RR in 2018. My first show was SHAMBHALA pre-party. This place has really good sound system. Really awesome staff that remember you the more you go. Thank you RR for putting on good shows. My favourite show to date has to be charles the first in 2019. RIP big guy.
Always a great Saturday night out - fave venue in Van. I have a hard time going to any other club downtown. Some of the best artists I've seen here, theyre always dropping the best lineups... pk sound - amazing. Safeculture harm reduction team and informed staff help keep those vibes just right.
Subculture Saturdays is the best party in the city. A smaller venue with a killer sound system booking some of the best electronic artists in the scene. Fun crowds and a friendly rave-y vibe. Absolutely recommend. Needs some improvements to the HVAC system though, when you come dress for heat.
Redroom is by far one of the BEST night clubs in Vancouver! I have been going to this night club for years and I can honestly say it’s my favourite. Using the best PK sound system, amazing friendly staff and all around good vibes. You can always count on Subculture Saturday’s for a good time.
The bouncers don’t care that you have tickets and ignore you and chose to flirt to random guests not letting anyone in, making people who pay wait for 2 hours. And if you pay for early tickets you are only loosing out. Overall negative experience from the horrible staff, club itself is good
My favourite club in Vancouver! Bouncers are friendly and patient, coat check is always welcoming, bar tenders are quick & all the other staff keep the place clean and running smoothly! Fair priced entry, coat check & drinks, also the best music on Saturday’s! What more could you ask for!
Bouncers chill and professional. Good security keeping everyone safe. Dnb show was epic and loud. Bass heavy heavy and every head bopping. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. Thank you digitalmotionbc and Red Room and dj lineup.
The atmosphere was conducive to the Neon Jungle Party theme for Pride. Staff were all fun to deal with, some Security guys were a bit gruff/dense. A fun time.

Subculture sat is fun and most of the time the music isn’t bad. Better clubs around with cheaper drinks and less entitled bar staff though. It stinks of BO since I’m at armpit level height and the place gets crazy hot too.
Some random sketchy guy tried stealing my jacket while I'm paying for coat check. I grab my jacket back and voice my displeasure. I get kicked out. The staff is incompetent beyond belief. Incompetent is an understatement.
Great venue. Staff were great and friendly. Bartender didn’t charge me for my pops because I was DD’ing. It’s rare to not get gouged for every little thing. Thank you Red Room!

The Friday's of Latin Music are lots of fun. The DJ's know how to keep the crowd excited and dancing all night with the best South American hits. The lineup can get big since its very popular, but totally worth it.
Had such a good experience there! The staff and the music were AMAZING. And a huge shout out to the one bouncer Nate! Helped me find my glasses and made sure I got home safe. Super professional and respectful!!
The night we attended everyone was very professional and friendly. Great crowd of dedicated drum and bass heads. Excellent sound system, visuals and cold beer. A real nightclub.

Phenomenal atmosphere. Blake has continually done an excellent job bringing in top tier artists, and creating a potent portal that breathes life in the emerging underground music scene. Much love red room!
Good music but it could be more varied on Fridays (they only play reggaeton). The space is large and spacious. Bouncers are nice, but bartenders were rude, the coat check girl was extremely rude as well
I pay for the event online and when I wanted to come inside the Guard Terren didn’t want me to come inside because he didn’t want more brownies inside. A racist place that nobody goes anymore.
Love the Red Room! Specifically Subculture Saturdays. They book the best DJs and it’s my favourite venue for dancing! Staff are great and props for having great harm reduction services!
The only club I attend! I love the Subculture Saturdays and the drum and bass shows they host. I’ve seen some incredible artists here and the dance floor vibes are always top notch!
I went here with my mexican gf in 2017 and it was nice experience. Nice latin musics and vibes. Friendly staffs. Great memory

Workers in this bar were very rude. I didn't want to pay for their bad service. And I won't.

Red Room always provides the best atmosphere, from the sound system to the lighting to the staff. Their Subculture Saturdays are not to be missed if you love bass music.
It's red, that's for sure. Live art competitions are a nice break from the usual downtown scene. After is dancing and djs. Close to waterfront station and Gastown.
Amazing shows, BUT watered down drinks I ordered a single Rye and ginger and didn't taste ANY alcohol. What a waste of $7 for POP and a full glass of ice! …
for $100 cover charge for 4 people, you would expect the building to have air conditioning. #sweating

Sometimes has good shows but annoying security. Got waaaay too hot in there with bad ventilation so I took my shirt off, only to get yelled at by security
Stink, charging 30 bucks in and the place half empty. If I ever see this place again it will be too soon.

The bouncer Nate always gives the best service. I've seen him go out of his way time and time again to ensure the night is great for everyone.
Can’t complain about the red room the best place for bass my favorite of all time

Security guard in the bathroom, short fragile black man, threatening drunk people for tips or he would "kick you out" Slimey bouncers
We were there with some friends to see a comedy show, the show was great! We enjoyed the Comedians, drink selection and ambiance!
Been there twice. I’ve never seen a staff so rude. Especially the bouncers. 0 stars.

Really nice place! It has a really good structure and you can have so much fun there, the outside view is super cool
Great venue but the host was very aggressive to my group for no reason.

Best sound system in Vancouver. I've had so many great nights at the red room.
