As a child growing up in the 1950s a visit to the dentist was met with fear and trepidation! Teeth were always being filled with little or no anaesthetic and often the dentist would just pull a tooth out because it was easier than doing any restoration. At this stage in my life I'm so pleased that I, my family and some of my friends have found the Smile Team where the experience is pain free, professional and with kindness and care being shown by both Brad and Julie and all the support staff. One memorable experience I have had was while I was in New Zealand I developed an abscess in a tooth and was taken to an emergency dental clinic. The dentist wanted to remove the tooth and a number of other procedures but I made a phone call to Julie who then liaised with him requesting x-rays to be sent and for her instructions to be followed so that I could return home prepared for the planned treatment. It was very reassuring to know that she was only a phone call away. My visits to the dentist no longer fill me with dread and I know I will be treated with a lot of TLC. Both dentists I’ve seen (Dr. Julie & Dr. Brad) have been by far the most GENTLE and patient dentists I’ve ever had. Having had an unsettling experience at another dentist, it was great to come to The Smile Team and be so well looked after. I like how I am provided with printed copies of dental plan and potential costs. During this lockdown time the communication has been timely and when I have been in to have work done, everything is well explained, clean and reducing any risk factors. The team is always friendly and professional, and the TV’s with Netflix above the seats are a bonus for distraction during longer procedures. I imagine the team would be great with children as well as adults as the whole environment and each team member I have seen is calming. Great dentist.

We love the clinic, it is comfortable and accessible , with easy parking on the premises, and a bright sunny atmosphere. I booked my 4 year old son's very first dental appointment with Natalie. Leading up to the appointment he was extremely nervous and anxious, but this quickly washed away upon meeting Natalie. Her warm, caring and friendly manner was apparent as she took the time to sit down with my son and explain what she was doing and why. She talked through all equipment being used and was able to show him that even though they may look scary they can be fun! My son can't wait to see Natalie and her dental assistant (Iva) again for his follow-up and has learnt the basic importance of dental hygiene. I can't recommend The Smile Team enough!

Brad and the staff at the Smile team in Balwyn North provide a friendly, caring and professional dental service. They are excellent with children and this was highlighted recently where our daughter has had some trouble with her 6 year old molars. The Smile Team has an outstanding Team who from the moment you walk in make you feel comfortable and relaxed. My son attended the Smile Team clinic for the first time recently. We needed an appointment straight away as he was in a lot of pain. I can't sing the praises of the Smile Team enough!! I came to them several years ago after having bad experiences elsewhere and they have been so fantastic. I am always made comfortable during any treatment and feel very confident in the work they do. Very happy with the treatments. Before going in to see the team, I was physically shaking every time I thought of having to see a dentist. Eventually I had to take my daughter for a check up and got to see the centre and dentist in action. So after 25 plus years of worry and panic, I decided to take the plunge and get my own check up completed. Due to my long term neglect I needed a few infills and a good clean - these were all completed stress free, pain free and relatively hassle free.

Best Dental practice we've been to and we are hard markers. I'm 74 a scardy cat when it comes to anything vaguely to do with my teeth but this group manages me really well. From Dr Brad who is so thorough nothing escapes his attention and the hygiene team are in a league of their own. They are all up with latest techniques spotless quiet surgery. HORRIBLE STAFF!!! Didn’t let a pregnant women use the bathroom from the public. Blonde receptionist was so nasty spoke rudely and swore.
