I took my dog here as he was unwell.The vet Johan did a good job. He diagnosed the problem correctly as an infected anal gland. He gave the dog 2 injections and gave him 4 lots of tablets for a week. He advised to bring him back in a week which would cost an additional £44. Remember this £44. I was charged £250 for the initial visit which I thought was extortionate. However I took it on the chin and paid up as I didn't know the cost of the drugs and injections. I was not given an itemised bill so I don't know how the cost was calculated. Now for the really bad bit . I called back a week later. The vet checked the dogs anal gland and said he was now OK. He was on the table for a maximum of 3 minutes. I was charged £66 for this which is a complete rip off. It equates to £ 750 plus an hour. Again I was not given an itemised receipt. I was just given a card receipt. I should be refunded this amount as the examination should have been included in the original £250 that I was charged. My advice to people is not to go here because of their exorbitant charges and failure to justify these charges with itemised receipts. Please look around for a more honest vets and give this rip off place a wide berth. Please read all the many bad reviews here. They have been given for a reason. So many people can't be wrong. I should gave read them myself before going to this place. Please refund me the money that you have overcharged me by. Another problem here is their failure to answer the phone promptly. My advice to prospective customers is to go elsewhere. I don't mind paying a fair price for good service but I strongly object to being fleeced in this manner. You have been warned. Edit Re response I'm still waiting for them to contact me. Totally inept.It looks like they are just as slow at making calls as they are at answering calls.

Booked an appointment for this place for 12.15 pm today, 11.4.23. Excellent, highly efficient! NOT! After waiting for well over an hour past the appointment time, finally got in. Please book this place if you have plenty of spare time to lounge around a waiting room, bored to pieces. No one supplied any information as to why the appointments were running so late even. Obviously they don't care about customers care or comfort, never mind the animals becoming very agitated and restless. Service is utterly shocking, especially for the amount of money they charge. Therein lies the problem; they charge mega bucks so they aren't bothered. They know people care and love their pets, so are willing to put up with such a dreadful service. Definitely changing Vets, for sure, and certainly will NOT go there again. I recommend anyone to think twice before booking an appointment there. Give the place a wide berth if you can avoid it. Love all Pets, not this particular Vets!!!!!

Brought Paddington my cat to the vet today with a tooth problem, we were seen by Johann, who was very kind and caring with Paddington, diagnosed him with severe gingervitis and gave him an injection of antibiotics to last 2 weeks, and loxicom for pain relief, I'm taking him back this week to get the offending teeth removed, I found all the staff to be genuinely kind, caring and professional, the vets itself was very clean and bright and they are open 7 days!! They genuinely care about the pets and their humans. Johann even gave me great advice about a tooth gel i can get off amazon, it's called stomodine f for cats and dogs, apparently it can help a great deal to reduce the amount of tooth damage your pet has, it's not an alternative to vet advice but it helps your furry friends a lot! So thank you Johann and thank you all for being there 7 days. And very nice coffee too!!

I’ve been really happy with the vets service for the last few years… their prices were average and service overall good, but recently when alfi my dog had an infection they requested he come in 2 days after his initial visit for what I thought was going to be having his glands cleaned by the nurse. Turns out they wanted to charge me another £60 on top of the £100 they’d charged me 2 days before. I ended up having to buy 14 days worth of anti biotics even though he was only 2 days into his 7 day course! I also requested a break down of what exactly I was being charged for… even the receptionist as helpful as she was couldn’t provide this. Very clear what this business is about… overselling medication at extremely high prices that you don’t really need….needless to say me ad alfi won’t be back!

My Frenchie hasn't been very well over the past couple of months so took her here and been told it was an infection, had blood tests and was given painkillers and antibiotics. She didn't improve so took her back, had more blood and urine tests over two visits and was told she had a UTI. Still no improvement so went to take her back and thankfully couldn't get an appointment so took her elsewhere. After a brief examination, blood tests were done and an ultrasound was suggested. She turned out to have a splenic haemangioma which the size of a cricket ball and was close to rupturing. She had surgery yesterday and is doing well. Had she went back to The Vet, she'd be dead. How they missed this is beyond belief. They'll always try to upsell you something though. Shocking.

Not happy with the way I have been spoken to on the phone because I cancelled the monthly payment and was told I have outstanding fees which I was not made aware of and was not told this would be the case if cancelling a membership. Got my puppy’s 2nd vaccine and ‘FREE’ worming and flea treatment which I was also told if signing up to their membership the vaccine would be free. Also now cancelled the membership and changed vets due to them giving my puppy the wrong worming tablet which resulted in him continuously having worms for months. Would not recommend this vets at all!! Different service when their getting your money but as soon as you cancel or leave, you get spoken to like rubbish.

Very good vets that dealt with my dog's scale and polish brilliantly. Appointments are quick, and was able to secure an appointment for my dog's procedure in less than a week. The veterinary nurse team was lovely, and was very caring towards my special needs pup. Fairly good value, however, I wish they would disclose some costs prior to the appointment for your dog to go under, as it felt as if I had to make a lot of last minute commitments to costs for saline and blood work. Happy for these to be done, just wish I had seen the cost breakdown much sooner than the morning of.

Unfortunately the price was incomprehensible. I am unable to comment on quality of procedures as I did not go ahead. I was quoted £780 for a dental operation for my dog at The Vet. Went to Animal Trust and it was done for £370 everything Included, exact same operation including pre anesthesia check. Good points are that they are very polite and noticed the practice is very clean. Shame about the extortion of prices considering there's much cheaper. I was surprised to see the words "quality care costs less" and "low cost" on the front as this certainly was not the case.

I arrived a little early, checked in after being greeted by the reception staff, I didn't have to wait very long before I was called in to the Vets room, the vet fussed over Maggie my dog then went away to get the injection materials. Quick and painless for Maggie, I was then given some tips about keeping Maggie healthy as you can see. Overall a positive experience for both me and Maggie. The reception was clean and tidy until a pet wet on the floor, it was quickly mopped up and cleaned by a member of staff. Thank you for being there.

What an absolute fabulous team, the advice and support you receive from all members is amazing, you get through instantly on the phone unlike other vets. The team treat your pet like their own, my fur baby had her operation yesterday, when I called to check on her it was no problem they checked with the vet and put my mind at ease. We have visited a few times for different reasons can not fault any of the staff so friendly and helpful. The pets app is great always a nurse on hand to chat and help at any hour. My friend brought her dog Bella in to see a vet. As Bella had a problem with her skin as she was itching and scratching. The vet she saw was Johann. He was Fantastic, asked one question. Straight away he knew what was the problem was. After a full examination of Bella. He prescribed a injection, tabblets and a full change of diet. My friend was delighted with his diagnosis. He told her it was on-going. She would highly recommend him. Also the reception was very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

I cannot fault this practice. My younger dog developed epilepsy and treatments now and in the future were fully explained. Unfortunately just recently our older dog had to be put to sleep and it was all done with total respect and sympathy. I always feel like we’re not just another client when we visit, and from the reception staff to the nurses and vets we are greeted like old friends. Could not recommend them enough. (Even the prices are reasonable!)

Absolutely unbelievable covid restrictions, queuing outside, one way system, masks, booths with screens, posters and signs everywhere.. find me somewhere as bad as this!!!.. wouldn't let me see my dog being put to sleep because of all this carry on.. its a joke and the place looks pathetic with it all.. owner get a grip. Visited 20 November 23, from reception to consultation very happy,Vet was Johan we have followed him from his previous practice, he is the most knolageable friendly professional vet takes time to explain and make our dogs feel at ease he has cared for them since they where pups would not see any one else although I am sure the other vets are also very good

I took my dog to The Vet so that he could get his booster vaccination. We were greeted by friendly reception staff. The vet treated my dog with care and sympathy and we were able to keep him calm in what was for him a strange environment. Overall I was extremely pleased with our visit and would highly recommend this veterinary practice.

Overall lovely clean reception staff are always polite seen my dog and cat on the same day so Ididnt have to make to journeys prices are good only issues at the moment you cant get through by phone or email and pet app but when I went I did ask and they said they were short staffed and that why but overall very good veterinary practice

Recent locum vet I saw was lovely but prices absolutely ridiculous. £44 for 10 minutes consultation. Nothing wrong with dog. Just needed paperwork signing to say dog fit enough for Hydrotherapy for fitness but vet would not sign without a consult because dig not been seen since December 2022. Would have given 5 start but for the costs.

Manager has really poor customer service skills. Had to ring multiple occasions to have my problem delt with and no one seemed to put any notes on the system. Finally when I got through to the manager just seemed like she didn’t want to help. Really disappointed as I’ve been a customer here for almost 3 years. Won’t be returning.

Very disappointed in the vet charging for services without talking through the options first - got a surprise when told X amount at the till expecting only to be paying for a consult. Prices have increased massively in a short time and a mass exodus of staff speaks volumes. I will be writing a formal complaint.

Cannot speak highly enough of the Lorenzo Drive Vet. The vets, the nurses and the reception desk team are just gorgeous. Accompanied my friend there today. His dog was put to sleep. My friend was in bits. But all the staff were so kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Just the best vets ever.
