If you're near the Royal Children's Hospital, this is a good spot to chill out and grab a bite. The menu offers standard cafe fare with a few international touches. The Birds Nest was a wholesome combination of soba noodles, poached egg, edamame, brocollini, baby spinach, shredded carrots, radish and fried enoki mushrooms with sesame seeds liberally sprinkled on top. Blended with a scrumptiously creamy sesame dressing, the dish was fragrant and appetizing on arrival. Though i usually find soba noodles too bland, that dressing absolutely completed the dish. The acai smoothie was made with water instead of milk and was so refreshing on a hot day like this. With a bright, airy feel to this modern space, the cafe has two communal tables that make it group friendly. Helpful staff provide polite service, though I wouldn't say the kitchen is speedy. Quite a few people were on their laptops and I like that staff didn't rush you to leave.

Nicely located corner shop, beautiful ambiance. Staff was welcoming and accomodating towards dietary requirements. We stopped by for breakfast on our way back from RCH. And i must say it was worth stopping by. Excellent food and coffee. My son said its one of the best hot chocolate he had. We tried spicy salmon benedict and waffles. Highly recommended, and i am definitely going to stop next for a coffee when in neighbourhood.

This place looked so promising and with high reviews we were excited to try it out. Food did not match the photos. Had a matcha latte that tasted only of the milk, no matcha in sight. Quinoa salad had no quinoa in it, just baby spinach leaves with canned peppers etc. smoked salmon salad the same just spinach leaves with a few slices of smoked salmon. Definitely not a high quality cafe worth the rating. I mean I guess it’s fine for locals grabbing a takeaway coffee or sandwich but to have such a high rating is crazy. The staff was trying to be friendly and were lovely, but the server had limited English so she couldn’t explain what was in the dishes.

This is a nice place ,have had Pancakes and Jaffles and toasted sandwiches and chips and the Thyme big breakfast from here ,all realy good ,do a pretty tastey coffee also ,I don't mind there bean at all,some of the staff are a bit Timid/Reserved at times ,but the Owner/Manager guy is well friendly and runs the place with his eyes closed when he is there,good place ,enjoy food every time I go

Excellent service! We booked a table for 12 people last weekend and needed to add another two extra seats at very last minutes. The staff responded in a lightning speed and the service on the day was great! One little incident happened, that was one of our orders got missing and the staff was able to resolve the missing order quickly and made everyone happy. We emptied all the dishes and the coffee was just delicious ^_^ We love this cafe in another side of North Melbourne, away from the busy Errol street, it certainly brings an unique flavour into the community.

Local cafe full of local vibes. The food here is surprisingly good, generous portions and worth the value. The rice bowls here are great for lunch and super tasty! The coffee here is also spot on ticks all the boxes. The service is also mostly friendly. Cool local cafe, especially for staring out the window and watching cars drive by.

Lovely service, excellent coffee, great food. Went here with our two young children for a Sunday breakfast. The staff were super accommodating, immediately brought out plastic cups for the kids, got us a high chair, picked up the keys my 1 year old dropped Etc. The coffee came immediately and was great. The food was really good and a great size. Really lovely experience on a Sunday morning. Thanks guys

Very hard to find cafes that offer Matcha, and here I certainly found an amazing one. Very creative menu and the quinoa salad was amazing. It has a nice crunchiness to it and is super healthy, it reminded me of a Mexican salad with the jalapenos and corn. Very delicious. I am glad that I live close to it, so I can come back for more. Well done!

Amazing food and great place to dine if you have little kids, they were so understanding about my daughter making a mess of her food and bring out plastic plates and cutlery for your little one with kids meals. We will definitely be back

Quiet and cozy ambience, friendly and kind staff here. And also very bright here! But the smoked salmon taste a little bit fishy. Iced coffee is pretty good if you put one raw sugar taste better lol. In a word, you can have a good afternoon in this cafe, reading and feeling relaxed here.

Great open comfortable space with industrial aesthetic. The customer service is also very good, super friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee are amazing. Super fresh and full of flavour. It was pretty damn good, good portions at an affordable price.
